EDWARDS Rachel Elizabeth Edwards, 92, of London, died Saturday, March 10, 2001 at Arbors Nursing Home, London. She was born January 23, 1909 in Range Twp., Madison County the daughter of Harry and Angie (Counts) Barrett. Member of Sedalia Methodist Church, 20th Century Club, Range Community Grange, Nellie Counts # 491, London Chapter # 386 O.E.S. Retired farmer and homemaker. Preceded in death by parents; husband Robert Edwards; brother Ronald Barrett; twin brother Daniel. Survived by sons, Robert (Ann) Edwards, Jr.-Sedalia, Sidney (Virginia) Edwards-London, David (Joretta) Edwards-Washington C.H.; daughter, Ann (Drue) Pickens-London; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in London. Rev. Clarence Hensel will officiate with the interment to follow in Range Twp. Cemetery, Sedalia. Visitation will be held Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the PORTER FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Body will lie in state 1 hour prior to service.

GALLAGHER Anna N. (Pappas) Gallagher, 72, lifetime resident of Columbus. A loving wife, mother and grandmother went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 8, 2001, after a courageous battle with cancer. As an active member of the Senior Citizens of Reynoldsburg she shared many wonderful travel memories with her husband and friends. Anna was a member of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral The Annunciation. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 47 years, James C.; children, James J. Gallagher and wife Gwen of Cincinnati, Andrea Parron and husband Chuck of Yorktown, Va.; brother Zeffre Pappas of Dayton; her three loved grandchildren, Elise and James D. (Doug) Gallagher, and Jon Parron; nieces Patricia Skaggs and Jamie Kastle of Dayton; nephew Stephen Pappas of Livermore, Co. Preceded in death by parents Nick and Artemis Pappas, brother Charles N. Pappas, infant son Brian Gallagher, and nephew Philip Pappas. Anna will always be remembered not only for her love of people but for her love of her yard which was visible through every shrub she pruned, watered, and nurtured, In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Rd., Columbus, Oh 43215. The family will receive visitors at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 3 p.m.

GOOCH Dorothy Gooch, 68, of Columbus, formerly of Huntington, passed away Saturday at her residence. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hanshaw Cemetery, Rt. 75, Wayne County, WV. Burial will follow. She was born June 27, 1932, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late F. Sanford Sr. and Vanella Hanshaw Jordan. She was a member of the Ann Simpson Davis Chapter D.A.R, Chapter #8 of the Order of the Eastern Star of Huntington, the American Legion Auxiliary of Hilliard, The Board of Trustees of Good Shepherd Manor in Piketon, Oh and the Board of Trustees of the Bayberry Creek Condo Association of Hilliard. Additional survivors include two sons, John M. Monnig of St. Petersburg, Fl., and Gerald Alan Dille of Waverly, Oh; one daughter, Rebecca Gooch of Columbus, Oh; one sister-in-law, Betty Jordan of Ceredo, WV; and one brother, Robert Jordan of Baton Rouge, La. Friends may call from 12-1 p.m. Wednesday at the REGER FUNERAL HOME. The procession will leave for the cemetery at 1.

GROVES Robert H. Groves, 79, died Saturday, March 10, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He is survived by loving wife, Julia (Mauger); son, Thomas (Deborah) Groves; grandchildren, Shawn T. (Melissa) Groves, Christopher M. (Jenny H.) Groves, Andrea L. Groves; great-granddaughter, Cynthia N. Groves; sisters, Jean Miller, Ann Helf, Marty Kaufman; niece and many nephews. He was preceded in death by son Irvin Eugene Groves and parents Harrison C. and Hazel (Horn) Groves. He retired from Columbus Municipal Airport in 1986 as Building Maintenance Supervisor, in recent years was a part time employee of Ohio State Expo Center. Family will receive friends Monday, March 12, 2001 2-4 and 6-8 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road where the funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2001. Interment Pastaskala Cemetery. Reverend Richard Ellsworth officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Central College Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 975 S. Sunbury Road, Westerville, Oh. 43081 in his memory.

GRUBB Albert Grubb, Jr., age 63, Saturday, March 10, 2001 at Mt. Carmel West. U.S. Navy Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Preceded in death by father Albert Grubb, Sr., brother Charles Robert Grubb, and sister Cheryl June Grubb. Survived by wife of 35 years, Mary (Graham) Grubb; mother, Mazie Grubb; children, Allen (Lora), Roseanna, Keith (Marsha), Brian (Dawn), and Angela; step-daughter, Tammy; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Virgil (Donna) Grubb; sister, Betty (Jerome Grimmett) Grubb; numerous nieces and nephews including Terri and John. Funeral Service 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 14 at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., where friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Pastor Dale George officiating. Interment Silent Home Cemetery, Reynoldsburg.

HEGENDERFER Irene D. Hegenderfer, age 84, of Marysville, Ohio, died Sunday at Heartland of Marysville. A well-known piano teacher, she was a member and former organist of the Marysville First English Lutheran Church. She was born January 29, 1917, near Marysville, to the late Eric and Eva D. Ruhl Hegenderfer. A sister, Burnette Nicol of Marysville, also survives, as do many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the INGRAM FUNERAL HOME, Marysville. Services will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. at the Marysville First English Lutheran Church with the Rev. Richard Genzman officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may contribute to the building fund of First English Lutheran Church. Contributions envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

HURLEY Mary Kathleen Hurley, 70, of Mansfield, passed away March 9, 2001 at her residence. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Jerome E. Hurley; 5 children, Michael (Kimberly) of Tenn., Peter (Kelley) of NC, Christopher (Sabrina) of Columbus, Margaret (Bruce) Sposet of Cleveland, and Elizabeth (Michael) Kaiser of Columbus, and 10 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at GEIGER-HERLIHY FUNERAL HOME, 173 Park Ave. W., Mansfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Burial in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.

KAUFFMAN Paul Kauffman, age 89, of Lisbon, formerly of Columbus, Oh., passed away Friday, March 9, 2001. Longtime employee of Nationwise Auto Parts. 65-year member of Humboldt Lodge #476, F&AM, Scottish Rite, and Aladdin Shrine (Clown Unit). Preceded in death by parents Isaac and Hattie, and sister Ruth. Survived by wife, Phyllis; brother, Max Kauffman; 4 nephews; many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who loved him very much and learned from his wisdom, love, and knowledge. We'll miss you, Pop. His family will receive friends Tuesday 6-9 p.m., Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. at the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where his funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

KEE Lois A. Kee, age 76, of Largo, Fl., Friday, March 9, 2001, at the residence of her daughter in Westerville. Formerly of Struthers, Oh. Retired Teachers Aid for Pinellas County, Fl. Lifetime member of F.O.E. and Seminole Elks. Preceded in death by husband Robert Kee. Survived by daughter, Diane Loeffert and partner Susanne Granoff of Westerville; grandchildren, Allison and Caryn Loeffert of Westerville; sister, Jeanne Klenner of Largo, Fl; nieces Linda Root, Debbie Marando, Denise Notolli and Darlene Burnham; several great nieces and great nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2001, at the Gates-Fourth United Methodist Church, 1234 South 4th Street, Columbus, Oh. Chaplain Ellen Phillips officiating. KING Issac "Ike" King, age 74, of Columbus and a former winter resident of Ellenton, Fla., died Saturday, March 10, 2001 at the Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing. Retired from The Ohio State University, Physical Facilities after 33 years of service. Preceded in death by his grandson Douglas Richard King. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joan; children, Gerald (Margaret) King of Nokomis, Fla. and Richard (Rema) King of Hilliard; grandchildren, Adam, Evan and Jeffrey King and Adrienne Standiford; three great grandchildren; brother, Darrel (Reba) King; sisters, Mamie (Oran) Scarberry, Odith (Dencil) Matheny and Delilah Jaques; many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Neoacacia Lodge #595 F. & A.M., York Temple Chapter #155 RAM, York Council #115 R & SM, Columbus Commandery #69 Knights Templar, Scioto Consistory A.A.S.R., Valley of Columbus, Aladdin Temple Shrine, Linden Shrine Club, The Seniors Shrine Club, The Registrar's Unit of Aladdin Temple and Corinthian Chapter #393 O.E.S.; Maize Manor United Methodist Church and he was a former member of the Palmetto, Florida Elks Club. Funeral service 1 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2001 at the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL, 450 West Olentangy Street (Powell Road), Powell with Rev. James Freshour officiating. Burial will follow in Kingwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 8:30 p.m. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to the Shrine Burn Unit for Children or Hospice at Riverside/Grant.

KUNDTZ Peter J. Kundtz, age 60, of Reynoldsburg passed away Saturday, March 10, 2001. He was a member and elder of the East Columbus Christian Church. He is survived by his sons, Scott, Brian (Rebecca), Keith (Shannon); grandson, Taylor; loving companion, Carolyn Roshon; brother, Larry (Lou) Peter; sister, Janet (Wayne) Modney. His family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at the East Columbus Christian Church, 1055 McNaughten Road where a memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. Arrangements cared for by the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, Reynoldsburg. LATHAM Deacon (Emeritus) Lowell C. Latham, Sr. (Blake), age 91, went home to be with his heavenly Father on Thursday, March 8, 2001 at his residence in Columbus, Ohio. He was a member of Hosack Street Baptist Chrurch where he attended for over 70 years. He served as the Chairman of the Deacon Board, Sunday School Teacher, Baptist Training Union (BTU) Teacher and a Circle President. He retired from the Federal Glass Company after 47 years of service. Preceded in death by daughter Bessie Carol; parents Aaron and Rhoda Latham; brothers Fred, Harry, Herman, Harley Sr., and Hubert; sisters Hazel Leet and Wenonah Christy. He leaves to mourn his legacy, devoted and loving wife of 68 years, Willie Francis; children, Elizabeth (Floyd) Waddell, Minnie Finney, Clifton (Beverly) Latham, Lowell, Jr. (Emily) Latham, Freda (Cahrles) Harris, George (Brenda) Latham, Carl Latham, Thomas Latham and Howard Latham; sister, Ella Marie Harper and sister-in-law, Dorothy Hill, all of Columbus, Ohio; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives. Homegoing celebration will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2001, 1 p.m. at Hosack Street Baptist Church, 1160 Watkins Road, Columbus, Ohio 43207 with Rev. Robert Y. Goff officiating. Remains will rest in state after 10 a.m. at the church. Family will receive friends from 12 noon until time of service. Buriel will take place at the Greenlawn Cemetery. Arrangements by DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUENRAL SERVICE.

LITTLE Tasha Dawn Little, age 13, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2001 as a result of an auto accident. Student at Teays Valley Middle School. Member of Teays Valley Middle School softball team and choir. Tahsa took dance lessons at Wiseman Studio. Preceded in death by mother Tammy (Little) Johnson; maternal grandmother Jewel Johnson; paternal grandfather Golden Little; step-grandfather Roy Vorhies; step-great grandmother Amelia Workman. Survived by father and step-mother, Edward and Christy Little; sisters, Tawnee, Annie, Samatha, and Logan; brothers, Ryan and Shane; paternal grandmother, Ruby Vorhies; step-grandparents, Keith and Susan Wilson; great-grandfather, Frank Workman; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and loving boyfriend Randy Oberding. Friends may call at O.R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St., Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday 11 a.m, at Good Shepherd Community Church, 210 Obetz Rd., Dr. William L. Snider officiating. Interment Obetz Cemetery.
