Lefton Co. and past president of The Columbus Gift Mart. Member of the Milford Church of Christ, Centerburg, Oh. Preceded in death by parents Hullie and Mabel Hon and brothers Charles Hon and Henry Hon. Survived by loving wife, Bonnie; daughter, Vickie (William) Smart of Lewis Center, Oh.; sons, James (Mary) Hon of Florida, Todd Hon, Dublin, Oh. and Michael Hon of Texas; grandchildren, Karlyn Mackenzie Smart, Lewis Center, Oh. and Weston Hon of Florida. Private family services will be held at a later date. OHIO CREMATION AND MEMORIAL SOCIETY/RODMAN FUNERAL SERVICE.

HUNLEY Jessie Bell Hunley, affectionately called "Grandma," age 92, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at Isabel Ridgeway Nursing Facilities. Member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, the Eastern Star, Ella Chapter No. 21, former treasurer and secretary of Senior Citizens Residents Council- Windsor Terrace. Preceded in death by parents John and Eula Mae Howell; husband Clarence Hunley; daughters Emma Moore, Eula Mae Harris; brother William Howell; grandson Larry Harris. Survived by devoted granddaughters and caregivers, Phyllis (Ronnie Sr.) Fitzgerald, Diane (Andrew) Battle; grandsons, Issac Moore, David Moore, Alan (Patricia) Harris, Michael Harris Sr., Donald Harris Sr., Ricky Harris Sr.; 36 great-grandchildren; 45 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. Homegoing Celebration 1 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2001, Tabernacle Baptist Church, 2188 Woodward Ave. Dr. Odell Waller officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Johnson Harry L. Johnson, 90 years of age, died Tuesday, March 13, 2001 in Warren, Oh. Mr. Johnson was a longtime resident of Upper Arlington, and was retired in 1973 from Westinghouse Electric, where he had been a purchasing manager for over 30 years. Survivors include his daughter, the Honorable Judith (Norman) Christley of Andover, Oh.; sons, William (Sandra) Johnson of Boston, Mass. and Bruce (Elizabeth) Johnson of Alexandria, Va.; as well as 8 grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy McCann. He was preceded in death by his wife Marian (Martin) Johnson in 1987 and 7 brothers. No calling hours. A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, March 17, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. at Hiram Cemetery, Oh., Rt. 82, Hiram, Oh. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to MIT c/o Judith Christley, 6738 St. Rt. 7, Andover, Oh. 44003. Arrangements are by GREEN'S FUNERAL HOME, Mantua, Oh., (330)274-3145.

JOHNSTON William Lawrence Johnston, age 69, Saturday, March 10, 2001 at his residence. A former employee of the Pennsylvania R.R. and retired employee of Columbus Public Schools. Preceded in death by parents Van Buren and Virginia D. Johnston, son Ruben Johnston, daughters Betty Marie and Lawuana Jean Johnston, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Survived by his son, William L. Johnston II; daughter, Sheila I. (Alvis) Thompson; sisters, Olga (Carrell) Nappier, Margurite Haw and Sara Watkins; former wife and friend, Betty Johnston; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral 12noon Friday at the chapel of C.D. WHITE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1217 Mt. Vernon Ave. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Interment Evergreen Burial Park. KEFAUVER Walter William Kefauver, age 79, Wednesday, Mt. Carmel East Hospital. School Teacher teaching at Put-n-Bay, Chillicothe and Roosevelt Junior High School. Retired from Sherwood Junior High School. Substitute at Eastland Vocational teaching evening welding classes. Veteran WW II U.S. Army Air Corps. Survived by loving wife 53 years, ElDonna; sons, Michael E. (Carol) Kefauver of Columbus, David A. Kefauver of Columbus and Robert W. (Cheryl) Kefauver of Groveport; grandchildren, Kimberly (Kevin), Christopher, Jason (Robin), John (Shanna), Lori (Mike), Ethan and Sean; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Jeffrey, Devin and Alissa. Preceded in death by brothers Edward and Roger. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Ave., where service will be Friday 2 p.m. Dr. William L. KEMPNER Barbara Saturnina Kempner, age 67, at her residence. Preceded in death by parents Jan and Janina Makulski. Survived by daughter, Malgorzata D. Burroughs; granddaughter, Katarzyna J.; grandson, Zachary N., all of Pickerington; brother, Zdzislaw; sister, Zofia Makulska; and other family members in Poland. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum in Pataskala. Arrangements by COOK & SON-PALLAY FUNERAL HOME.

KENTOSH George Emerson Kentosh, Lt. Col., Retired, age 77, of Reynoldsburg, on March 13, 2001 in Tucson, Ariz. 1942 graduate of St. Peter's High School, Mansfield, Oh. Veteran of WW II, Army Air Corp. Pilot. Retired from USAF in 1969 with numerous medals and commendations, worked as a corporate pilot until several years ago. Was Airline Transport Rated, A&P mechanic certified. Loved airplanes and flying. Life member of Reynoldsburg VFW Post 9473. Survived by longtime best friend, Dorothy Johnson; son, Kenneth (Susan) Kentosh of Cleveland; daughter, Lynn (Chris) Karabinas of Tucson and Pattie Tseman of Seattle. His family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg, where his service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. military graveside honors will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Capital Area Humane Society, 3015 Scioto-Darby Executive Ct., Hilliard, Oh. 43026.

KROUSKOP Jean C. Krouskop, age 73, died Saturday, March 10, 2001 at home. Retired Executive Secretary at Nationwide Insurance Co. Survived by sisters, Iona Frank, Patricia A. Herron, Rose (Archie) McDole and Frances Thompson; brother, Jerry Regan; nieces, Sharon Harman, Patty Lou Regan, Sandra Martin, Marcia Long, Mary Thompson, Beverly Feathers, Tina Neuenschwander, Carla O'Neil and Theresa Regan; nephews, Don Frank, Danny Regan, John Thompson, Gerald Hughes, Ernest Hughes, Ronald Regan and Harold Regan. Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2001 at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., where friends may call * hour prior to the service. Rev. Bryan E. Feathers officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery.

LADLEY Earl Dean Ladley, 67, of West Jefferson, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2001 in Doctors West Hospital, Columbus. He was born April 24, 1933 in Madison County to the late Dwight and Ella Mae (Cutwright) Ladley. Dean was an Army Veteran and a carpenter. He is survived by 2 sisters, Helen Tewell of London and Opal Tackett of Xenia; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Harold Ladley. Funeral Service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2001 in RADER-McDONALD FUNERAL HOME, West Jefferson, with Pastor Dale Legg officiating. Burial will follow the service in Dennison Chapel Cemetery, Fairfield Township. Family and friends may call 5-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

LANDIS Dorothy P. Landis, age 81, of Columbus, died Monday, March 12, 2001 at Columbus Healthcare Center. Retired Cook for the Southwestern City School System. Preceded in death by her husband Clarence & son Arthur. Survived by her children, Brenda (Cecil) Bennett, Clarice Peterman, Clarence (Eva) Landis, Jr., Sandra Landis, Vernie Landis & Janice (Bill) Skinner; many grandchildren & great grandchildren. Member of the Galloway Presbyterian Church. The family will welcome friends at the RUTHERFORD-SHROYER FUNERAL HOME, 1278 West Broad Street, Columbus on Thursday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2001 at Sunset Cemetery.

LEUTHEUSER Dorothy K. Leutheuser, age 92, a longtime resident of Upper Arlington, and recently the Forum at Knightsbridge, died Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was a graduate of East High School and The Ohio State University, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She was formerly an active member of the Childhood League and served on the board of the Home for the Aged. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Leutheuser in 1993. She is survived by her daughter, Gretchen (Charles S., III) Davis of Devon, PA; grandchildren, Hannah (Daniel) Pilotte, Charles S. (Min Jung) Davis, IV, and Katharine E. Davis; 2 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2001 at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 333 S. Drexel Ave., Bexley. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery. LOPER Eloise E. Loper, age 76, of Grove City, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. She retired from 3M Co. Preceded in death by parents Raymond and Edith Tucker, brother Raymond, Preston and Victor Tucker. Survived by husband, James Loper Jr.; sons, Jim (Denise) of Bishopville and John Loper of Grove City; sister, Inez Simons of Columbus; many nieces and nephews. Funeral will be Friday 11 a.m. at MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus St., Grove City, where the family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in Millfield, Oh. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pound Rescue of Athens, P.O. Box 1209, Athens, Oh. 45701.

MAGGIORE Dorothy Ann (Johnson) Maggiore, 75, formerly of Trimble, Oh., passed away March 12, 2001 at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Md. She was born August 17, 1925 in Trimble, OH., daughter of the late Donald D. and Julya J. Kurtis Johnson. She was married to Frederick C. Maggiore on September 21, 1944 and divorced January 12, 1977. She was a member of the Trimble United Methodist Church and Broad Street United Methodist Church, Columbus, Oh. She was Valedictorian of Jacksonville-Trimble High School, Class of 1943. Dorothy retired from The American Jersey Cattle Club/National All Jersey in November in 1985 after 25 years of service. She is survived by a son, Frederick F. Maggiore of Lewis Center, Oh.; 3 daughters, Judith L. Maggiore (John Manchester) of Conway, Ma., Deborah E. Maggiore (Tom Sparr) of Centerburg, Oh. and Jenny L. Maggiore (Skip House) of Rockville, Md.; 7 grandchildren, Nick O. Maggiore, Marcus B. Maggiore, Shawn P. Manchester, Chris R. Manchester, Zack S. House and T. Cyrus House; sister, Donna L. (Tom G.) Purnhagen of Satellite Beach, Fla.; daughter-in-law, Lora Maggiore of Auburn, N.H.; niece, Sherry Ford; nephew, Don Purhagen; great-niece, Denise Bowen; great-nephews, Tom and Dave Bowen. She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law Ruth L. (Dave) Bowen, niece Karen Purnhagen, 2 nephews Mark Purnhagen and Terry Bowen. Funeral service will be held Monday 11:30 a.m. at CARDARAS FUNERAL HOME, Glouster. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10-11:30 a.m.

MONAHAN Caroline Sue Monahan, age 68, on Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at Doctors West Hospital. Loving wife of Robert for 48 years; loving mother of Robert (Elizabeth) Monahan Jr. and Jeff G. (Melody) Monahan; loving grandmother of Joshua (Nathalie) Monahan, Shannon Monahan and Blase and Brock Monahan; great grandmother to Sydney Marie Monahan; sister of Grover (Judy) Gregory, James (Marge) Gregory and Michael (Evaline) Gregory; sister-in-law of Helen (Angel) Lopez; step-grandmother to Natasha (Scott) McIntire and Jeremy Brown; also survived by nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by son Scott C. and brother Jeffrey Gregory. Mrs. Monahan was a retired nurse and member of Childrens Hospital T.W.I.G.s. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2001 at All Saints Lutheran Church, 6770 N. High Street, Worthington. MORRISON Lawrence Morrison, age 70, Monday, March 12, 2001 at the residence. Retired artist. Preceded in death by daughter Loretta Chaffin. Survived by wife of 25 years, Alberta; children, Linda (Gary) Hawkins, Connie (Wayne) Hamilton, Carlene (Robert) Avery, Orville (Tina) Radabaugh, Deanna (John) Owens and Alberta (Salvador) Radabaugh, Clyde (Carollyn) Radabaugh; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
