O'LEARY Sabra Ann "Sally" O'Leary, age 69, of Upper Arlington, died Monday, March 12, 2001 at O.S.U. Hospital. She was Chairman of the Board of the Edward M. O'Leary Company for over 25 years. Survived by her husband of 47 years, Alan E. O'Leary; daughters and sons-in-law, Carrie and C. Keith Plummer of Cambridge, OH., Susan and Tim Kearns of Columbus; grandchildren, Lizzie Kearns, Andy Kearns, Jessica Plummer and Michael Plummer; nephews, David C. Bell, Centerburg, OH and Steven A. Bell, Dresden, OH; sister-in-law, Eleanor (Rob) Riber, Alfred, NY.; brother-in-law, Daniel (Chicquita) O'Leary, Flossmoor, IL.; other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and William C. Bell. She was a 1949 graduate of Grandview High School and active member of Grandview Alumni Association. She was an avid artist and enjoyed craft work, especially birdhouses and Christmas items. Memorial Service will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2001 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, where friends may call after 12 Noon Sunday until time of service. Rev. James Sledge officiating. Private interment at a later date. Those who wish may contribute to the Grandview Alumni Association, c/o Stan Jones, 1374 King Avenue, Columbus, OH 43212, or to Boulevard Presbyterian Church, 1235 Northwest Boulevard, Columbus, Oh 43212, in her memory.

PALMER Ora Mae (Casteel) Palmer was born in Cardington, Oh., the third daughter of Jessie Long Casteel and James Casteel, who are deceased. Also deceased, husband Herman Palmer and oldest sister Marie Nixon. Retired as a P.B.X. operator from Penn R.R. Mother of James Palmer and Betty Markel. Grandmother of Jim Merchant and Becky Merchant-Hammond, Stephanie Palmer Miller and Charlene Palmer. Great-grandmother of Ben, Doug, Andrew, Matthew, Kerrie Beth, Noah and Sam. Her life was enriched by Glen Merchant (deceased), Tom Markel and Joan Palmer. They attributed so much to her life and happiness. A memorial service at Christ Presbyterian Church, 4220 Cleveland Avenue, will be held at a later date. Any contributions may be made to her Church Circle.

PEARSON Juanita Francis Pearson, born September 20, 1923, went to be with the Lord, March 15, 2001. Survived by husband, Lee Robert Pearson; daughter, Deborah Lee (Greg) Varnacini; grandchildren, Derek Lee Somers, Stephanie Ann Varnacini; special loved ones; Linda and Curt Marcum, Polly Ewing, Marvin and Irene Risinger; special nephews, Bobby and Bill Brown; many loved family and friends. Funeral service, 11 a.m., Monday, March 19, 2001 at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, with Rev. Gerald Lewis officiating. Interment at Grove City Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, from 2-5 p.m., in the funeral home.

PIGG Marion Willis Pigg, age 67, died March 15, 2001 at Monterey Health Care. Retired from Home Wood Builders. Preceded in death by wife Clar Jean, parents and brother Donald. Survived by son, John of Grove City; sister, Garnet Phipps of Columbus; many nieces and nephews; friend, Tom Hollingshead. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. POWELL-CHAPMAN Linda J. Chapman Powell, age 53, died March 14, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was a 1965 graduate of Linden McKinley High School. She was employed by Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation on the Elite "Shark Team". She is survived by her husband, Mark V. Powell; parents, Robert B. and Dorothy Chapman; daughters, Darlene E. Fradette-Wellman and Kathy I. Reeves; step-children, Mark V. Jr. and Brandy Lynn Straight; brother, Robert R. Chapman; sister, Donna J. McAfee; grandchildren, Amanda and Meghan Fradette, Jason and Dustin Chafin. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2001 at the SCHOEDINGER CLEVELAND AVENUE CHAPEL, 2741 Cleveland Ave., where friends may call 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Friday. Rev. Fred Ketner officiating. RICHTER Leah F. Richter, Wednesday, March 14, 2001 at home surrounded by loving family. Member of St. Catharine Church and Golden Age Group, Christ the King Senior's Group, Bexley Activities Club, Columbus Area military Officer's Wives Club, National Guard Wives Club and Retired Officer's Association. Preceded in death by husband Harry E. She was a member of Church of the Messiah United Methodist Church and retired from Landmark. Survived by brothers, Wayne W. (Lela) of San Antonio, Tex. and Hobart S. (Ruby) Walters of Rancho Cordova, Calif.; cousin, Faye Borror of Westerville; nieces, Audrey (Bob) Beard and Doris Conley, both of Columbus; many other nieces and nephews. YOUNG Katie Jane Young, 19, of Queen Creek, died March 11, 2001. She was born January 16, 1982 in Columbus, Oh. Ms. Young was a food service associate for Trilogy Golf Course and was currently enrolled as a student at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Katie enjoyed many outdoor activities, running, hiking, snow skiing and was pursuing a career in Bio-Medical Engineering. Survived by parents, Gary and Vivian Young; step-parents, Kathy Young and John Tryniski; sister, Lori Young; grandparents, Dorothy Jean Young, Richard and Betty Donahue; step-grandmother, Estelle Tryniski; many aunts, uncles and cousins; step-sister, Jessica Long; step-brother, Travis Long.
