She was a retired assembly line worker with General Motors. She was a member of the Calvary Grace Brethren Church in Orange City, Fla. and the Fantastic Travel Club. Survivors include 2 daughters, Jo Ann Gray of Deltona, Fla. and Virginia Lee Lazar of Muncie, Ind.; grandson, Jason Lazar. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 555 W. HARRIS Mrs. Katherine Louise Harris, age 84, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 15 at 1:55 a.m. She is survived by her loving husband, Ozell W. Harris. She is preceded in death by her mother Edith Ellis, sisters and brothers. She leaves behind her only cousin, Betty Collins; daughters, Makeda "Regina" Na'eem and Yvonne Pryor; son, Michael Harris; son-in-law, Malik "Leonard" Na'eem; grandchildren, Kenetha Pryor, Glenn Harris, Edward Harris, Shaune Harris; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; very special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry (Alice) Pierce, Mr. and Mrs. Rebecca McElroy, Mrs. Price and Mr. Eldridge. Funeral service Wednesday 10 a.m. in the chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long St. Mrs. Harris will lie in state after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.

HAVENER Paige Ray Havener, age 79, Thursday, March 15, 2001 at the Grant Medical Center. Preceded in death by parents John and Queen Havener, loving wife Alberta E. Havener, brother Henry Havener and sister Gladis Horton. Survived by brother, Arthur Havener of Wilkesboro, N.C.; daughter, Annette Havener; sons, Lewis A. (Ivory) Havener and Robert R. (Marsha) Havener of Chattanooga, Tenn.; grandchildren, Tina (Carl) Walker, Gail (Christopher) Havener, Lewis A. (Cebrina) Havener, Darrell R. (Cecilia) Havener, Tawanna (Dewayne) Riley, Angie (Kayle) Birchmore, Scott Havener and Robert Havener; 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. HOEFLICH Neva Clare Hoeflich, age 86, of Columbus, died Monday, March 19, 2001 at The Kobacker House after a courageous battle with cancer. Neva attended Saint Matthews Lutheran Church, was a member and past president of The Ladies Oriental Shrine and member of The Swiss Club. Preceded in death by her husband Earl G. Hoeflich and survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie (Tom) Greenawald and Beverly (Fred) Kunkel; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where service will be Wednesday 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. G.A. Haubrich officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. HOOD Audrey A. Hood, 81, of Naples, Fla., passed away Sunday, March 18, 2001. Audrey and her husband moved to Naples in 1979 from Columbus, Oh. She was a member of St. William Catholic Church, Royal Poinciana Golf and Country Club and Wyndemere Golf and Country Club. Audrey is survived by her loving husband of over 59 years, Charles; 4 daughters, Jenny Dove of Niwot, Colo., Sally (Roger) Leslie of Gainesville, Fla., Molly Hood of Naples, Fla. and Susan (John) Greeley of Boca Raton. Also surviving are her 5 beloved grandchildren, Katy, Megan and Emily Leslie, Michael and Savanna Greeley. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, March 23, 2001 at 10 a.m. at St. William Catholic Church, 601 Seagate Drive, Naples, Fla. HUDNALL Terry Wayne Hudnall, age 37, passed away Monday, March 19, 2001. Employed by Pitt Ohio Express. Attended Grace Ministries. Preceded in death by father Charles and brother Randy. Survived by wife, Deborah; children, Tiffany and T.J.; mother, Phyllis Hudnall; brothers, Rick (Joni), Tim (Connie), Robert (Connie) and Todd (Terri); grandmother, Nellie "Granny" Cordell; mother and father-in-law, Charles and Sandra Lykins; nieces, nephews, and other family members. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL., 1346 S. High St. The funeral service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Grace Ministries Church, 474 Rathmell Rd. Rev. JAMES Edward D. James, age 94, of Columbus and formerly of Parma Heights, died Saturday, March 17, 2001 at The Forum at Knightsbridge in Columbus. Ed was a 42-year employee at Republic Steel and a former Pennsylvania State Policeman. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Walsh James. He is survived by his children, Edward F. (Rose) James of Columbus and Karen (Mitchell) Kassouf of Landsdale, Pa.; grandchildren, Kathleen (Mark) Neiheisel of Kettering, Oh.; Marianne (Michael) Minichello and Michael (Megan) James both of Dublin, Oh., Daniel James of Atlanta, Ga., Timothy James of Columbus, Jennifer Kassouf, Meghan Kassouf and Kristin Kassouf all of Landsdale, Pa.; 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Ed was a member of St. John Bosco Parish, Parma Heights, Oh. where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Holy Name Society and the Rosary Altar Guild. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at St. Peter's Church, 6899 Smokey Row Rd., Columbus, Oh. The Rev. Robert Penhallurick, Celebrant. Burial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland, Oh. KENNEDY Mary V. Kennedy, 78, of Columbus, passed away Fri., March 16, 2001 at Heartland Fairfield Nursing Home. She was born June 22, 1922 to Richard and Maude Miles in Newport News, VA. Preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Kennedy and her parents. Mary is survived by her daughter, Judi Kennedy of Galloway; sons, Ronald Kennedy and David Kennedy, both of Columbus; 6 grandchildren; brothers, William Miles of CA, Robert Miles of VA and Harry Miles of NC; and many nieces and nephews. LONG Rarick W. Long, a Fredericktown, Oh. resident and owner and publisher of The Knox County Citizen and The Morrow County Independent, died March 16, 2001 in Gibsonia, Pa. near the home of his daughter. Mr. Long was a long time member of the Society of Professional Journalists and its Central Ohio Chapter. He was a member of the Fredericktown United Methodist Church and for many years served as a delegate to the Church's Annual Northeast Ohio Conference at Lakeside, Oh. Mr. Long is survived by 3 children; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy.
