WOODFORD Thomas Howard Woodford, age 47, of Reynoldsburg, went to be with the Lord on Thursday March 22, 2001 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Computer Technologist for Chase Manhattan Bank. Veteran U.S. Marine Corp Viet Nam. Preceded in death by mother Eileen M. Woodford, father Lester H. Woodford. Survived by daughters, Andrea, Kristie and Danielle Woodford; sisters, Gayle M. ANSBRO Neal T. Ansbro, age 76, of Conneaut, Oh., died Friday, March 23, 2001 at UHHS Brown Memorial Hospital. Mr. Ansbro was born in Cleveland, Oh. on August 24, 1924, the son of John and Viola (Kehoe) Ansbro. He was a graduate of St. Patrick's grade school and later went on to attend and graduate from a trade school in the Cleveland area. He went to work as autobody repairman for Dod-Fader Oldsmobile. He also worked for the Nickel Plate Railroad, Conneaut Rubber Co. and was also a member of the Conneaut Fire Department for many years. He was most notably known for over 36 years as an excellent autobody repairman for the former Dean Wible Oldsmobile dealership. He was a member of St. Mary Church in Conneaut. He was a honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus Conneaut Council #624 and was also a former 4th Degree Knight, former Grand Knight and current Financial Secretary. He enjoyed boating with his family, water-skiing, gardening, golf, roller skating with his grandchildren, woodworking, remodeling and stain glass. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, the Knights of Columbus and his neighbors. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Maribel H. Stofko, 2000, daughter Sarah Beth Ansbro, 1984, brother John "Jack" Ansbro and sisters Marie Nettger, Viola Funk and Katherine Wagner. He is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Malbasa of Bratenahl, Oh.; sons, Shawn C. Ansbro of Columbus, Oh. and Samuel J. Ansbro of Conneaut; brother, Bartley Joseph Ansbro of Cleveland, Oh.; sisters, Eileen Walsch of Detroit, Mich. and Mary Ruth Krejsa of Cleveland; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at St. Mary Church, 480 State Street, Conneaut with Fr. Raymond Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut. Calling hours will be held on Monday March 26, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the RAISIAN FUNERAL HOME, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut, Oh. The Knights of Columbus will conduct prayer service at 7 p.m. and vigil service will be held at 8:45 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus or the Catholic Daughters of America with envelopes available at the funeral home.

COLVIN Margaret Jane Colvin, age 54, died March 22, 2001 at The Ohio State University Hospital. Employed with the Ohio National Guard. Survived by husband, Harold; son, Don (Beth) Colvin; grandchildren, Zac and Arrianne; father, Jack Sigman; brothers and sisters. Private family burial Newcomers Cemetery, Springfield, Oh. DAILEY Charles E. "Shug" Dailey, age 63, of Groveport, Friday, March 23, 2001, Doctors Hospital North. Born February 18, 1938 in Columbus to the late Charles Leonard and Margaret (Mills) Dailey. He was a retired truck driver. Member of American Legion Southway Post #144 and was a U.S. Army veteran. Survived by his wife of 33 years, Ada; daughter, Chris Ann (Wayne) Polk; brothers, Leonard (Annette) Dailey, Richard Dailey and David Dailey, all of Columbus; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by son Chuck Dailey and 3 brothers. Friends may visit 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. DAVIS Floyd J. "Whitey" Davis, 78, of Columbus, Thursday, March 22, 2001 at Whetstone Healthcare Center. Member and Priest of Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. Served in 3c and helped on the completion of Boulder Dam. Avid bicyclist and Big Band Music enthusiast. Member Columbus Zoo. Preceded in death by sister Betty Bowes and brothers John and Cecil Davis. Survived by children, Nancy (Bob Clawson) Myers, James (Jenny) Davis, Joyce (John) Seymour, Tom (Theresa) Davis and Cindy Davis; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Charles E. Diggs Jr., father Booker T. Hunt. Survived by mother, Elnora Pulliam Hicks; brother, Leroy T. Brooks; children: son, Charles (Gina) Diggs, III; daughters, Chalita E. Diggs and Janice Hamilton; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; aunt, Bertha L. DILLARD Pernell Dillard, age 75, died March 21, 2001 at the Chillicothe V.A. Hospital. He retired from Marble Cliff Quarry. A member of the Bethel Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. Veteran of WW II, U.S. Navy and belonged to the American Legion. He is preceded in death by his wife Ruth and 3 brothers Wesley, Theodore and James Dillard. Survived by daughters, Pernell (William) Woodson and Lynda Rembert; sons, Gregory (Vivian) Dillard and Clarence (Donna) Dillard; also many grandchildren. DUDROW Barbara Marie (Chesnut) Dudrow, age 61, of Springfield, Oh., died surrounded by her loving family, Wednesday, March 21, 2001 in Miami Valley Hospital following a brief serious illness. She was born December 27, 1939 in Springfield, Oh., the daughter of Charles and Faye (Brandon) Chesnut. Her life was an example of acceptance and service to others. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. She is survived by her children, Susan L. Turner, Westerville, Oh., Robert L. Dudrow, Dayton, Laurel A. Finch and her husband, Michael R. Hall, Springfield, Karen and David Lauderback, Dublin, Oh.; grandchildren, Molly May Finch, Brady, Mitchell and Leah Lauderback; brother and sister-in-law, William R. and Cynthia K. Chesnut, Springfield; niece and nephew, Tricia L. Foster and William Todd Chesnut; aunt, Betty Fenton, Dayton; in-laws, Louis and Mara Dudrow, Baltimore, Md., Dorothy and Paul Ashbrooke, Dunedin, Fla., Donald and Babs Dudrow, Springfield; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert A. Dudrow. Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, March 25 in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME, 838 E. High St., Springfield. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Memorial Home with Rev. Scott Loomer of Northminster Presbyterian Church, officiating. DUMBAULD Mary Eileen Dumbauld, age 81, of Upper Arlington, went to be with her God and loving husband on Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She formerly co-operated a restaurant in Springfield, Ohio with her sister. She is survived by her son, Donald E. Dumbauld of Upper Arlington; sister, Joretha Nawman of Urbana, OH; brother, Ugene Cutshall of Springfield, OH.; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry J. Dumbauld, who died in 1992. During WW II, she was a riveter with Curtis Wright Aviation. She was an avid quilter and loved to cook and bake. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. Sunday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, where funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2001. Private interment at a later date. EMMELHAINZ Donald O. Emmelhainz, age 77, of Grove City, died Thursday, March 22, 2001, at his residence. He was a retired farmer, was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Men's Club, and the Men's Choir. Don is survived by sister, Martha Milligan; sister-in-law, Carrie Emmelhainz; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be Sunday, March 25, 200l at 3:30 p.m. at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3220 Columbus St., Grove City, where the family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until service time. Pastor Donald Allman will officiate and a private inurnment will be at a later date in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to St. John Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. GRITTON Wilda D. Gritton, age 77, of Columbus, died on Friday, March 23, 2001 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Retired from the J.C. Penney Co. Preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Gritton Sr. in 1974. Survived by her sons, James Gritton, Charles W. Jr. and his wife, Karen Gritton and John Gritton; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; brother, Theodore Jones; relatives and friends. Funeral service 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2001 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday. GUTRIDGE Opal Gutridge, age 83, passed away Thursday March 22, 2001, Regency Manor. Longtime resident of Hamilton Arms Apartments. She was born in Gratiot, Oh. to the late Lessie and Belle Riffle Gutridge. Graduate Hopewell High School. She was a bookkeeper in Zanesville, Newark and The Museum of Art in Columbus. She was of Protestant faith and attended various churches in the area. Preceded in death by brothers Vernon and Clifford Gutridge. Survived by nieces, Charlotte Pettit and Claudette McMillian.
