HAVEMAN Georgia Eloise Haveman, formerly of Johnstown and Granville, died March 23, 2001 at Broadview Health Center. Born July 26, 1909, daughter of the late George A. Haveman, M.D. and Letitia Jane (Feather) Haveman. Survived by cousins, Paul Hunt, Sally Bothe, Roberta Ann Schott, Carol Ammerman. Lover of poetry, music and cats. Eloise's published writings included short stories, poetry and "Jimmy Jaguar", a story of the peaceable kingdom for children. Graduate of Columbus School for Girls, The Ohio State University, the Catholic University of America, and Greet Dramatic Academy, Georgetown. Music and recreational therapist at Veterans hospitals in New York, Eloise also worked in libraries at Ft. Belvoir, Va., Newark Catholic High School, Oh. and Denison University. No calling hours. Memorial Service at a later date. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER STATE STREET CHAPEL.

HAWK Jacob "Jake" H. Hawk, age 76, went to be with the Lord March 22, 2001 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Jake was born in Nelsonville, Oh. on June 16, 1924. Preceded in death by his mother Elsie Millard, father and step-mother Amos and Ida Hawk, brother Paul and son Michael. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Rozella; children, Jerry (Linda) McKinney, Columbia, S.C., Mary Ann (Harley) King, Evans, W.Va., Richard (Peggy) McKinney, Reynoldsburg, Oh., Denise (Mark) Cantrell, Pickerington, Oh.; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pauline (Harry) Mitchell, Ruth Millard; special cousins, Jim (Sue) Powers and Karen (Don) Reese, all of Lancaster, Oh.; PaPa's earth angel, Danielle Hill; and his four-legged best friend, Emily. Jake was retired from Decker Construction and Teamsters Local #284. Member of the Reynoldsburg Lodge #340 F&AM, Walnut Chapter #172 A.A.S.R., Columbus, King's Council #142, Mt. HUTSON Dolores G. Hutson, 77, formerly of Gahanna, Oh., died March 22, 2001 in Harrisville, W.Va. She was born in Clarksburg, W.Va. Dolores retired in 1979 from the Ohio Board of Regents as an office manager. In 1988 Dolores moved to Harrisville. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2001 at RAIGUEL FUNERAL HOME, Harrisville. Burial will follow in Harrisville IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.

Jones Henry C. Jones, 42, Tuesday, went home to be with his Lord March 20, 2001, OSU Hospitals East. Employee of Barcus Co. Former employee of North America Van Lines. KELLY Lillie Kelly departed this life peacefully in the home of her daughter. Born to Charles and Cora Jane Moore on May 20, 1908 - she left us to be with her husband William, sons Luther, Richard and James and her granddaughter Nesha Gibson on March 21, 2001. She retired from Kelly's Market in 1980. For 20 years she had kept very busy tatting, crocheting and quilting. Of course, summertime, lawn mowing was her passion. She leaves behind, son, Junior (Frances) Kelly; daughter, Betty (Michael) Obert; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Lou Osborn of Columbus, Pauline Crabtree of Amlin, Oh., Marie Guessler of London, Oh. and Alma (Alvey) Guessler of Fla.; a host of nieces and nephews. KINKEAD Eloise F. (Mace) Kinkead, age 87, of Columbus, called by her Lord to her heavenly home Thursday, Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Retired Federal Glass with 28 years of service. Member Westphal Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband Jacob C. Kinkead, Sr., daughter Karen Liston, grandson William Sayre, sister Ruby Barber and brothers Elston Mace, Jr., Lloyd Mace and Dwight Mace. MAXWELL Herman A. Maxwell, age 83, March 22, 2001 at the residence. Retired from Big Bear Warehouse in 1980 after 34 years service. Survived by loving wife, Lois, after 63 years of marriage; daughters, Dee (Orease) Taylor and Linda Keffer; son, Steve (Debbie) Maxwell; brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Millie Maxwell; sister-in-law, Helen Maxwell; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. MOBLEY Drema L. Mobley, age 55, of Columbus, died Friday, March 23, 2001 at her residence. She was employed by the Ohio Department of Corrections as an accounting clerk. Preceded in death by husband Cecil, father George Edgar Wallace. Survived by mother, Elouise Wallace; brothers, George, Kenneth, Keith, Cass, Larry and Donald Wallace; sisters, Brenda Wallace and Esta Walters, all of Huntington, W.Va.; special friends, Tim Huffman, Jeffrey Sowards, Jean Smith, Tonyia Fowler and other co-workers. She gave much of her time and herself to the Humane Society. PAYNE George Elwood Payne, passed away at home in Hilliard on March 23, 2001 surrounded by family and friends. He was born on July 20, 1918 in Philadelphia, Pa. Survived by loving wife, Eleanor "Betty" Payne after 38 years of marriage and by 4 children and their spouses, Dr. John and Pamela Payne of Colleyville, Tex., Cathryn and Allen Frymire of Longmont, Colo., Michael and Julie Payne of Galt, Calif., Elizabeth and Joseph Johnson of Hilliard, Oh.; along with 12 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; also by in-laws, Louise Hearn, Michael and Mary Elizabeth Hearn, all of Ontario, Canada. Retired as a Senior Master Sergeant after 28 years of service in the USAF having served in WW II, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. Also retired from Woolco 6000. Life member of VFW Whitehall Post 8794, American Legion Memorial Post 614 in Hilliard. Chartered member of BPOE Worthington Lodge 2700, 40 et 8 Chapter 15, and the "1918 Club", former district director for AARP, volunteered for Crime Analysis Division, City of Columbus Police Department and teacher of chess to elementary school students. (Gail) Ditello; 3 great-grandchildren, Marty, Christopher and Danielle; sisters, Catherine Vaughn, Ola Gibson and Virginia Gordon; numerous nieces and nephews. PETIT Bernard J. Petit, age 76, of West Jefferson, died Thursday, March 22, 2001 in Mt. Carmel West Hospital, Columbus. He was born September 11, 1924 in Canton, the son of the late Clarence and Mary (Schaeffer) Petit. Bernard had retired as an accountant for the Fisher Cast Steel Co. of West Jefferson, was a member of Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church, Army veteran of WW II. Member of American Legion Post #201 of West Jefferson. Survivors include wife, Ica (Fox) Petit; daughter, Gail (David) Hornor of Hilliard; son, Norm (Debbie) Petit of Grove City; 4 grandchildren, Melissa and Megan Horner, Andy and Brian Petit; brother, Arthur Petit of Massillon; 3 sisters, Laverne (Joe) Carr and Marvella (Art) Genetin, all of Canton, Leola (Tim) Reese of Navarre.
