VAUGHN Robert E. Vaughn, age 89, of Westerville and of Venice, Florida, Saturday, March 24, 2001 at his Florida residence. Arrangements will be announced later by the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, Westerville.

VanARSDALE David Phillip VanArsdale, age 83, died peacefully Monday morning, March 19, 2001. Lt. Col., United States Air Force. Proudly served as a Radar Navigator in World War II and the Korean Conflict. Awarded the USAF Distinguished Flying Cross. Painting Contractor and Antique Dealer. He will be deeply missed by loving wife, Marjorie VanArsdale; daughter, Barbara Mormile-Shafer; son, Stephen (Barbara) VanArsdale; son, Edward Alan Cones (William Felinski); daughter, Phyllis VanArsdale (James Roof); step-granddaughters, Denise Roof Williams, Heather Roof Ramsey and grandson, Anthony David (Monika) Mormile; great-grandson, Benjamin Lucas Mormile; special family friends, Helen Chatham, Thom Coffman, Linda Gilmore, the Jolly Pirate Gang and his favorite cat, Charley. Arrangements made by COOK & SON-PALLAY FUNERAL HOME, Columbus, Ohio. There will be no calling hours or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to The Rose of Concern, Lutheran Village of Columbus, 935 North Cassady Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43219. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all our friends for their kindness and to the physicians, nurses and health care professionals who cared for our father and husband.

WILLIS Oscar Leonard Willis, born December 20, 1933, in Marks, Mississippi passed away Saturday, March 24, 2001 after a lenghty illness. He was the founder of Central Surveying, member Eastside Grace Brethren Church, past member of civic and professional associations, attended Franklin University and Chicago Technical College. He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Juanita (Spurry) Willis, sister Dixie Ann Norfleet and infant brother. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Doris (Shaw); son, William L. Willis; daughters, Rhonda (Jack) Trumbull and Kim (Jonas) Herrmann; grandchildren, Brent (Matia) Urdarovski, William L., Jr., Amy R., and Michael W. Willis, Alexandra D. Trumbull, Kaleigh and Justin Herrmann; sisters-in-law, Mae E. Milam and Ruth (Robert) Craycraft; numerous nieces, nephews, many special friends, former and present co-workers, and faithful dog, Lady. His family will receive friends Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg where his funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Licking County Aging Program, 745 E. Main Street, Newark, Ohio 43055. The family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. David Kageorge, nurses and staff at Mt. Carmel East Hospital, Licking County Aging Program and all those who have given their tender loving care to Leonard during his lengthy illness.

WILSON Dorothy M. Wilson, age 72, Tuesday, March 20, 2001 at O.S.U. Medical Center. Preceded in death by her parents, son, brothers, sister and grandson. Survived by daughters, Wanda Kelley, Janice (Robert) Sullivan, Dierene and Dorresia Middleton; sons, James, Glenn and Wesley Wilson; sister, Edna Jones of Calif.; sisters-in-law, Audrey and Sarah Watson; special companion, Lawrence McKinley "Larry"; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral 8 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2001 at the Chapel of C.D. WHITE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1217 Mt. Vernon Ave. Rev. Glenn R. Wilson, Officiant. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until the time of service. Interment 10 a.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Burial Park.

BERGQUIST Karlton (Karl) G. Bergquist. Sr. Born July 26, 1915, died Friday, March 23, 2001, surrounded by family and Pastor Paul Ulring. Survived by beloved wife of 58 years, Lorraine; son, Karlton (Skip) G. Bergquist, Jr. and Skip's fiancee Betsy Powers; daughter Karyl Witherspoon and son-in-law John Witherspoon; and beloved granddaugter, Victoria (Tori) Nymeyer, all of Upper Arlington; sister, Eleanor Lundius of Malmo, Sweden; brother Evert Bergquist of Chicago; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Karl and Martha Bergquist, sister Ellen Gross, and brother Verner Bergquist. Karl's career included: Bergquist Bros., Venetian Blind Company, Sales Manager Illinois Shade Company, Sales Manager IC Systems and Auditor for State of Ohio Welfare Department. Karl was an Active Member in the Chicago and Minneapolis Lion's Club where he was the President of the local chapter and International Zone Chairman, member of WACO neighborhood community organization, 1995 Honorary Captain of Upper Arlington football team, avid OSU sports fan and member of UALC. He was devoted to his family and community and loved by all he touched. Those who wish may contribute to D.E.A.F., Leadership Program for Youth, 1234 E. Memorial Service will be held at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, Lytham Road, Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at 7:30 p.m. with service performed by Pastor Paul Ulring.

BRADEN Brentley D. Braden, Sr., age 56, of Carroll, formerly of Groveport, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2001 at his residence after a short battle with cancer. He was a retired pipefitter with Defense Construction Center, member of the American Legion and served two years in the U.S. Army. He was an avid race car driver at National Trails. Survived by his wife of 31 years, Diana; son Brentley (Jody) Braden, Jr., Logan; daughter, Angela (Kenneth) Howard, Carroll; two granddaugters that he adored very much Brittany Worthington and Carlie Braden; mother, Helen Castle, Columbus; brothers, Dennis (Sheila) Braden, Pataskala; Roger (Diana) Andrews, Blacklick; nieces, nephews and many thoughtful friends. Preceded in death by father Walter Andrews; father-in-law Paul Loeffler, Sr. and mother-in-law Clara Loeffler. Friends may visit 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday with Deacon Fred Schmitt officiating. Interment Lithopolis Cemetery. CAMP Eunice Maxine, 86, March 23, 2001 Arbors of West Jefferson, Childhood member of a baptist church in her hometown of Antiquity, Oh. Former member of VFW Auxilary Northway Post. Eunice liked everyone she met. After the death of her husband Robert E. Camp she sought employment as a switchboard operator. She is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Survived by daughters, Roberta F. (James) Cox, Sharon L. Camp; grandchildren, Lisa (Charlie) Gavit, Douglas W. (Elizabeth) Cox; great grandchildren, Joshua C., Carrie D., Jenna M. and Drew Z. Gavit, Caleb J. Cox. Friends may call JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where service will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Charles King officiating. CHAFFIN Imogene Chaffin, age 76 of Grove City, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2001 at Dr.'s Hospital West. Preceded in death by son Richard Evans and daughter Connie Melvin. She is survived by her husband, Curtis Moore; children, Donald (Kathy) Goodman, Ronald (Jean) Evans, Linda Sue (Gerad) Semigel, Patsy (Jim) Pinkerman, Rick (Alta) Evans, Donna (David) Cruz and Ray Dean (Candy) Evans; 28 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus St.,Grove City where funeral will be Tuesday 11 a.m. Rev. Gerald Koster officiating. Interment Concord Cemetery.

CHILDERS Angel Grace Childers, died March 24, 2001, at Mt. Carmel West Hospital. Survived by parents, John and Mandy Childers; sisters, Heather, Samantha, and Hope Childers; brother, John Childers; grandparents, Vicky Bivens and Roger Layton, David and Sandra Childers; great-grandparents, George and Vera Bivens, and Garnett Childers; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. CLARK Janarius A. (Sport) Clark, 96, died Sunday, March 25, 2001, at his home in Columbus. Mr. Clark was born September 13, 1904, in Junction City, Ohio, to Joseph M. and Catherine C. (Gordon) Clark. He was preceded in death by wife Moynell (Cecil), in 1964, and by brothers Robert, Raymond, Paul, Charles and Eugene, and sister Margaret. In his early working life, Mr. Clark operated a logging company in Monroe County, supplied coal in the Woodsfield community and operated a gasoline station in Beallsville. In later years, Mr. Clark worked as a store auditor for the Ohio Department of Liquor Control. He was a long time member of St. Patrick's Church, Junction City and a Life Member of BPO Elks New Lexington Lodge No. 509. He is survived by sons, Jan A. (Patricia) Clark of Hebron, and William J. (Jean) Clark of Buckeye Lake; daughter Catherine (Philip) Cleary of Columbus; sister Catharine R. Howerth of Junction City; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the CHUTE-WILEY FUNERAL HOME, 118 S. Jackson St., New Lexington, Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with Christian Wake Service following at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Junction City, Msgr. John Dreese officiating. Burial at adjacent St. Patrick's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church or to the Hospice at Riverside and Grant.

CROSS Hilda B. Cross, age 93, died Saturday, March 24, 2001, at Medina General Hospital. She was employed with the Cleveland and Coshocton Public Libraries and was a Secretary for the Board of Trustees of the Coshocton Library. Member of Presbyterian Church in Coshocton, where she enjoyed playing in the Hand Bell Choir, avid bridge player and a lifelong Cleveland Indians Fan. Preceded in death by 5 brothers and sisters. Survived daughters, Marilyn Cross of Columbus, and Judith Cross of Medina, Oh.; sons, Leslie Jr. (Norma) Cross of Tampa, Fl., and John (Toni) Cross of Westerville, Oh.; granddaughter, Martha; great-grandchildren, Jonathon and Leslie Ann; 6 nephews; and special friend, Brenda Wiseman. Memorial service to be held 3 p.m. Tuesday at Camelot Place, Leisure Ln, Medina, Oh. The family will receive friends following the service. Burial Barlow Cemetery, Beverly, Oh. GILLISPIE Beulah Dora Gillispie, age 92, of Gahanna, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2001 at Traditions at Stygler. Preceded in death by husband Jess Gillispie and son-in-law Ron Beal. Survived by sons, Emmett (Janet) Eikens of Charleston, WV and Keith (Arlene) Gillispie of Gahanna; daughter, Gerri Beal of Gahanna; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren. GORMLEY Gail A. Gormley, age 36, Friday, March 23 at Riverside Hospital. Born September 18, 1964 in Fremont, Ohio. Graduated from Franklin High School in Franklin, Tenn. in 1983 and then graduated from Martin Methodist College in Pulaski, Tenn. in 1985. Gail worked as a nanny for many years and moved to Columbus, Oh. to live with her parents in 1998. Gail is survived by her brother, Gregory of Knoxville, Tenn. and her parents, James and Darlene Gormley of Columbus, Oh. Friends may call at TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, Oh. on Monday, March 26th between the hours of 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be at St. John Lutheran Church, 6135 Rings Rd. at Avery, Dublin, Oh. on Tuesday, March 27 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Williamson County, Tenn.

GREEN Ruth Jane Green, 86, of Arbors West, West Jefferson, Ohio and formerly of Hagerstown, Md. passed away March 22, 2001. Born October 29, 1915 in Washington County, Maryland. She was the daughter of the late Harry Willis Wallick and Elizabeth B. Zimmerman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Jacob Parker Green in 1986. She was a life-long member of the First Christian Church in Hagerstown, Md. Survived by sister, Ethel Green, Hagerstown, Md.; children, Lois (Russell) Wolfinger, Hagerstown, Md., Robert (Alice) Green and Judy (David) Arganbright all of West Jefferson, Ohio; grandchildren, Richard (Janet) Wolfinger, Nashua, NH, Gary Lynn Wolfinger (fiance Tammi Stuller), Mary (Tom) Mullane, Jr. all of Hagerstown, Md., Randy (Brenda) Green, Galloway, Ohio, Cynthia Green, Sharon Green (fiance Mathue Chaffin) and Nicholas Arganbright, all of West Jefferson, Ohio; 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Wallick and John Wallick; two sisters Edyth Wallick and Mary Gearhart.
