Survived by nephews, Robert William (Tisha) Jones of Columbus, Ronald (Gail) Bielicki of Massachusetts, David (Pat) Wilson, Jim Wilson, and Harry (Natalie) Pilarski, all of New York; nieces, Michele (David) Sweeney of Cincinnati, Marlys Pelowski, Daneen (Murray) Eisinger of New York, Rita (Jim) Hopkins of Virginia; great-nieces, Karen McClain of Columbus, Julita (Ray) Wood of Virginia; special friend and caregiver, Peggy Fleischer. Friends may call Thursday, March 29, 2001 from 5-7 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., where services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. Reverend William L. Snider officiating. JUDSON Loretta Judson, age 89, died March 22, 2001. She was born January 7, 1912 in Murray City, Oh., to Dwight and Callie Martin. She was preceded in death by husband Ralph, sisters Claudine Margolis, Dorothy Vernon and Ruth May and brothers Donald, Robert and Kenneth Martin. She worked at the Northland Hallmark Crown Store for many years. Survived by daughter, Jan (Thom) McCain and grandchildren, Erin (Lon) Faulkner of Columbus and Sean McCain of Seattle and son, Darryl (Patty) Judson, grandchildren, Scott Judson, Michael (Lisa) Judson; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Kayla Judson of Pewaukee, WI; sisters, Jean (Earl) Maples, Ardella McCarty; and brother, Pat (Sandy)Martin. She was an avid quilter and loved to cook and bake for friends and family. A memorial service will be held at the McCain's home at 146 Glenmont Avenue on Saturday, March 31 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Carol Brody officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vision Center of Central Ohio in care of Karen Squires at 1393 N High Street, Columbus, OH 43201.

JUDY Col. Emory T. Judy, United States Air Force Ret., age 80, of Crystal River, Fla., died Saturday March 24, 2001 at Cypress Cove Care Center in Crystal River. He was born April 8, 1920 to Emory and Sara (Nash) Judy of Covington, Va. and came here 21 years ago from Dayton, Oh. He was a graduate of Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Oh. and completed Flight training school at Kelly Field in Tex. Col. Judy was a Logistics Expert, Flight Trainer and Test Pilot. A Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, served during WW II, the Korean War and the Viet Nam War, a storied career spanning 3 decades. He was a charter member of the Air Force Museum in Dayton, Oh. He was a member of the Blue Lodge #34 F&AM of Beaver Creek, Oh. A member of the York Rite and the Antioch Shrine. He was a member of the Crystal River United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a son Todd Judy. Surviving family members include his loving wife, Juanita; his son, Timelin Judy of Xenia, Oh.; daughters, Carol Kean and husband, Jack of Madison, Wis., Patricia Fici and husband, James of Columbia, S.C. and Judy Maruca and husband, Louis of Dayton, Oh.; brother, John and wife, Elise of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; grandchildren, Julia and Jared, Robina and husband, Michael, Candia and husband, Rex, Tammy and Sean, Brian and his wife, Joanne and Gian; 9 great-grandchildren. Memorial Service Tuesday, April 3, 2001 at 2 p.m. at Wright Patterson Air Force Base Chapel One, Dayton, Oh. with Chaplain James L. Parrish officiating. Arrangements by STRICKLAND FUNERAL HOME, Crystal River.

KERN Dorothy L. Kern, 88, died Sunday, March 25, 2001 at Manorcare Health Services. A member of Maize Road Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, August G. Kern; children, Diane (John) Corven, Judy (Don) Fisher and Keith (Barbara) Kern; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Ivan (Marilyn) Reese; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Myrtle Reese, son Gary Kern, brothers Robert and Sherman Reese, sister Margaret Swetnam. Family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where the funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m., Thursday, March 29, 2001. Interment Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Central Ohio Arthritis Foundation in her memory.

LANHAM Otha Lucille Lanham, age 84, passed away Monday, March 26, 2001 at Pickaway Manor Care Center in Circleville, Oh. Preceded in death by husband Bruce, son Albert and daughter Erlean. Survived by children, Barbara (Rick) Loar of Amanda, Josephine (Ron) Bowe of Bloomingburg, Melvin Lanham of Amanda, Mike Lanham of Tex., John (Sheri) and Bill (Tess) Martin and Geraldine, Alberta and Betty, all of W.Va.; 33 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St., Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where the funeral service will be held Thursday 10:30 a.m. Rev. Carl Ratliff officiating. Entombment in Winchester Abbey at Arlington Field of Honor, Canal Winchester.

LEESEBERG Ralph O. Leeseberg, age 87, passed from this life to the next on Sunday, March 25, 2001 at Lutheran Village of Columbus. He was born in Milwaukee, Wis. to parents Ralph W. Leeseberg and Ella (Klein) Leeseberg. He was a longtime active member of Faith Lutheran Church of Whitehall. He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Syracuse University, N.Y. His many paths in life included the U.S. Postal Service, a military career in the U.S.Navy, the Army Air Corps and the U.S. Air Force (retired). He was also employed by North American Aviation and retired from the city of Columbus. He was active in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and enjoyed computers, genealogy and travel. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Annemarie (Schultheiss) Leeseberg. Survived by 2 daughters, BettyAnn (Tom) Leeseberg-Lange, Margaret I. "Meg" (Jim Hartzler) Ginther; 1 son, Ralph L. (Cheryl) Leeseberg; grandchildren, Jill Lacina, Randy Ginther, Melissa Leeseberg, Sara Leeseberg, Rebecca Hartzler, Anne Hartzler; great-granddaughter, Georgia; 3 brothers, Martin (Irma) Leeseberg, Don (Barbara) Leeseberg, Phil (Anna Pearl) Leeseberg; 1 sister, Selma Bates; sister-in-law, Esther Serr; brother-in-law, Walter (Ruth) Schultheiss. Lovingly remembered by 8 nieces, 8 nephews and their children and many friends and neighbors. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 31, 2001 at 1 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 730 Collingwood Ave., Whitehall. Contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church in Ralph's name. MALONEY Helen J. Maloney, age 82, Monday March 26, 2001 at St. Angela Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 4476 N. High St., (2 blocks north of Henderson Rd.), 268-8811, where a rosary will be said at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1300 Urban Dr. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

METZGER Marie Louise Metzger, 67, Grove City resident for 23 years, passed away Monday, March 26, 2001 at her home. She was a retired nurse and caregiver. Auxiliary member of Paschal Post #164 and B.P.O.E Elks #37. She had also recently discovered email. Survived by beloved husband of 48 years, James L. Metzger; children, James L. Metzger, Jr., Denna M. Osvald, Dorthea A. Palmer and Charla A. Cranor; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 3 brothers. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the SCHOEDINGER NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, where the funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2001 with Rev. Karen James officiating. Interment to follow at Grove City Cemetery.

McGOWAN Charlotte Ann (nee Williams) McGowan, age 79, of Florissant, Mo., March 17, 2001. She had been employed by Curtis Wright during WW II and by North American Aviation in the early '50's. She and co-worker Warren McGowan were married on April 11, 1953. They have resided in Florissant since 1971. She is survived by husband, Warren; daughter, Stephanie (Ron Moidel); twin sons, Steven (Jan) and Michael; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.

NAPPI Terrill L. Nappi, died Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at Doctors hospital. Arrangements being completed by SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL.

NEWMILLER Mabel Newmiller, 78, of Mt. Sterling (Five Points), died Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at her residence. She was born August 12, 1922 in Johnson County, Ky. The daughter of Floyd and Elizabeth (Meade) Williams. An avid bowler, bowling in Mixed and Senior Citizens Leagues in Circleville. She was preceded in death by parents, husband Frank Newmiller, December 7, 1989, sister Hazel McCarty, brother Floyd Williams Jr. She is survived by son, Harlan F. (Judith) Slavens of Columbus; granddaughter, Dianna Rae (Duane) Davies of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandson, Edward H. Slavens of Washington C.H.; 3 great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie, and Carly Davies; sisters, Joy McCarty of Paintsville, Ky., Florence Myers of Columbus, and Wanda (Andy Bill) Stapleton of Mt. Sterling; nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 30, 2001 at the PORTER FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Jim Blankenship officiating with the interment following in Darbyville Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, March 29, 2001 from 4-8 p.m.

NORTH Billy L. North, 70, of Columbus, died Sunday, March 25, 2001 at St. Ann's Hospital. Former owner of Jimmy's Market on Westerville Road and a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Preceded in death by parents Floyd and Ruth North, brothers Junior and Ronald. Survived by brothers, Max (Adrienne) North of Grove City, Danny (Ruby) North of Johnstown; sister, Jean (Jim) Harp of Columbus; sister-in-law, Ethel North of Columbus; many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Village of Westerville Nursing Center and ST. Ann's Hospital for their compassion and care for our brother. OBERNOLTE Otto Obernolte, age 75, passed away Monday, March 26, 2001 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Retired from Lock Joint Pipe Co.,/Interpace Corp. of Wharton, NJ after 40 years. Member of American Legion Post #344 of Rock Away Township in New Jersey for 42 years. Survived by wife of 49 years, Carlotta; son, Ronald (Natalie); grandchildren, Sarah, Emalie and Terry; great grandchildren, Devin, Brandy and Angelina; sisters, Mrs. Stanley Riker, Jr. of Mt. Arlington, NJ and Mrs. Wilbur Riker of Lake Hopatcong, NJ; brother, Donald Obernolte of Andover, NJ; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the WOODYARD EAST CHAPEL, 2300 E. OYER Franklin M. Oyer, Sr., 64, of Grove City, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2001 at Carlton Manor Nursing Home, Washington Court House. He was born November 3, 1936 in Waverly, OH, the son of Harlan and Marie (Robinson) Oyer. Frank was retired from Hennigan Inc. in Cincinnati and was formerly employed by National Graphics. He was active in the printing industry as a lithographer for over 35 years. Frank was a member of the Southwestern Grace Brethren Church, was in the U.S. Naval Reserves and enjoyed cooking, cars and riding his Harley. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Ray Oyer. Frank is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Dolly; beloved children, Franklin Jr. (Kim) Oyer, Mark (Jani) Oyer, Susan (Michael) Mazur and Lisa (Tre.) Hockett, all of Grove City; grandchildren, Sarah, Jackie, Kevin, Frank III, Jordan and Jacob; great-granddaughter, Madison; brother, John (Joann) Oyer of Columbus; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Calling hours 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the SCHOEDINGER NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, where the funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2001 with Pastor Paul Ratliff officiating.
