Alumna of Asbury College and the University of Kentucky, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in romance languages and a Master of Library Science. SKILLMAN Edith Marie Skillman, age 71, passed away March 28, 2001. Retired from Old Bonney Floyd Foundry. Preceded in death by husband Vernon; son Steve Patterson; brother, Bobby Anderson; sister, Ruby. Survived by son, Joseph "Eddie" (Pamela) Patterson; grandchildren, Eddie Jr. (Susie), Shana, Sandy (Scott), Angela, Steve, Jeff, and Kenny; great-grandchildren, Justine, Lauren, Travis, Leeann, Little Stevie, and Melissa; sisters, Hazel, Mary Emma, Joann (Milo), and Shirley (Ben); brothers, Ray and Charles (Virginia); many nieces and nephews. STAGE Jimmy Thomas Stage, 35, of Pancoastburg, loving husband, father, son and brother, died Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at his residence. He was born March 29, 1965 in Washington C.H., Oh. to William Thomas and Carolyn (Dilley) Stage. James was a standing member of the Archealogical Society of Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Sheryl (Brayshaw) Stage, whom he married June 11, 1984; parents, William and Carolyn Stage of Mt. Sterling; daughter, Amber Brayshaw and son, John Brayshaw, both of Mt. Sterling; sister, Brenda (Ron) Stratton of Mt. Sterling; brother, Billy Joe Stage of Mt. Sterling; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Donna (Fred) Reading of Pa. and Paul (Bertie) Caudy of Mt. Sterling; nephews, R.T. and J.T. Stratton of Mt. Sterling; nieces, Caitlyn Stage of Columbus, Blair Brainard of Mt. Sterling; several aunts, uncles, cousins, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, and a host of special friends. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2001 at the PORTER FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Densil Wright officiating with the burial following in Pleasant Cemetery. TAYLOR Brother William M. Taylor, suddenly at his residence. Life member of Gospel Tabernacle United Holiness Church, Hildreth and Ohio Ave. "Be thou faithful unto death and I will give thee a crown of righteousness." Thus was the life of our brother Taylor. Member of the Deacon Board and the Male Chorus. A supporter of the total program of the church. Husband of Frankie L. Taylor (now deceased for 53 years). Life resident of the Hilltop area for 57 years. Retired employee of Jeffrey Mfg. Co. He was an extremely thankful person and was very proud of his family. Of the many things that could be said of brother Taylor, he was a Christian gentleman. He was the father of Clarence (Bertha) Taylor; grandfather of Tonyah C. Taylor, Renate M. Rahieem and Clarence Taylor Jr.; great-grandfather of three; brother of Della Renfo; a number of other relatives including nieces, nephews, cousins, and a devoted niece, Mary Duff. Remains will rest in state after 4 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2001 at the Gospel Tabernacle with family receiving friends at 6 p.m. Services of Celebration honoring the life of brother Taylor 7 p.m. Friday at the church. TRAVER Robert T. Traver, age 66, of Grandview Heights, Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at home. Preceded in death by parents Francis E. and Florence T. Traver. Survived by sisters, Sandra T. (Richard) Humphrey of Houston, Tex. and Gail (Frederick) Wood of Gahanna, Oh.; 1 niece and numerous nephews. Member of Worthington Presbyterian Church. Graduate of Worthington High School and Miami University. Member SAE Fraternity. Retired from Architectural Hardware, Inc. A private burial will be held later at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Member of Dry Cleaners Guild of Columbus, Westerville Lions Club, Knights of Pythians of Westerville, Secretary and Treasurer of Central Drilling Co. Past President of Westerville P.T.A. Preceded in death by father Hugh Vaughn, mother and step-father Blanche and Chris Paykoff, brother Willis Vaughn, half-sisters Mary Thrall and Helen Greismere and half-brother George Paykoff. Survived by loving wife of 68 years, Ellen E. WHITAKER Darryl L. Whitaker, age 45, of Gahanna, died Tuesday, March 27, 2001 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born April 1, 1955 in Willard, Oh. A 1974 graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School, where he was active in the Wrestling and Track teams. Former truck driver owner operator. Preceded in death by grandparents Frank and Dorothy Robson, Sam and Julie Whitaker. Survived by parents, Paul and Mary Lou Whitaker; sisters, Lorrene (Ken) Wells, Vickie (Allen) Kadlec; nephews, Chad (Misty Davidson) Stevens and Brian Kadlec; niece, Amy (Elmer) Kimmey; great-nephews, Travis and Trevor Kimmey; great-niece, Kailee Stevens; many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends, including very good friend, Ben King. BOBB Barbara Jean Fancher Bobb, age 67, of Columbus, passed away quietly Wednesday March 28, 2001 at Pataskala Oaks Health Care Center. Barbara was born April 28, 1933 in Montrose, Pa. She is preceded in death by daughter Linda Sue Bobb. Survived by husband of 45 years, Emerson Bobb; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Mark McIntyre of Pataskala; grandchildren, Molly Michelle and Michael Mark McIntyre; sister, Ruth (Ola) Dodson of Bradenton, Fla.; brother-in-law, Dick (Betty) Bobb of San Francisco; sister-in-law, Peggy Bobb of Las Vegas; many nieces, nephews and friends; many special friends, including Ginny, Phyllis and Betty.
