SCHNEIDER Edgar P. Schneider, age 80, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2001 at the Doctors West Hospital. Born in Columbus on October 28, 1920, he is the son of the late Walter and Lillie Schneider. Mr. Schneider was a WW II Army veteran, a member of the Masonic Temple 689 of Grove City. Edgar was also preceded in death by wife Betty J. Schneider and step-son Mark West. Surviving are his wife, Marjory; children, Karl (Diana) Schneider, Kathryn Renick and Neil (Denise) Schneider; grandchildren, Karen, Kristy, Joshua, Philip, Melissa, Chad and Dustin; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Funeral service 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2001 at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, with Rev. Ty Myers officiating. Interment at Grove City Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 6-9 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 900 Michigan Ave., Columbus 43215 or the Kidney Foundation, 1373 Grandview Ave., Columbus 43212, in Edgar's memory.

STARR Gladys Myer Starr of Parkersburg, W.Va., died March 29, 2001 at Parkersburg, W.Va. She was the daughter of the late Ellsworth E. Myer and Louie Spencer Myer. Born Doddridge County, W.Va. on July 31. She attended the First Baptist Church and was a Beautician for 60 years. Member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine, Order of Amaranth and the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include 2 sisters, Leola Divers, Columbus, Oh. and Katherine Moore, Belpre, Oh.; 3 brothers, Rex Myer, Columbus, Oh., Curtis Myer, Gallipolis, Oh. and Lt. Col. George Myers, Ret., Ft. Myers Beach, Fla.; niece, Carol Muscari, Belpre, Oh.; and several other nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband Paul T. Starr, 5 sisters Addie Thompson, Lottie Swisher, Lois Hellison and 2 young sisters, 4 brothers Floyd Myer, Willis Myer, Clarence Myer and Charles Myers. Friends may call Friday from 5-8 p.m. at LEAVITT FUNERAL HOME, Parkerburg, W.Va., where funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Paul Knierim officiating. Interment will be at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

SULLIVAN D. Charlene Sullivan, 56, Sunbury, Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born April 6, 1944 in Sunbury to Raymond and Tina Webb Doane of Sunbury. Graduate of Big Walnut High School, Class of 1962. Legal Assistant for Attorney Ken Molnar. Member of Genoa Baptist Church. Enjoyed collecting angels and Santa Claus's, shopping, special trips with card club friends. Also survived by husband of 30 years, Gary; daughter, Melissa (John) Evans; son, Ray (Laura) Sullivan; grandchildren, Johnathon, Jessica, Hannah; sisters, Joyce (Phil) Link, Phyllis (Darrel) Adkins, Sharon Edwards. SWARTZ Patrick G. Swartz, born 8/2/52, died 3/27/01 at Riverside Hospital. Preceded in death by mother Louise and brother Don. Survived by father, Walter L.; brothers, Larry, Michael (Mary) and James (Jennie); sisters, Nancy, Mary Sue (Robert) Schell, Martha, Kathy and Janet (Todd) Hentges; uncle, Frank Swartz; aunt, Mary Swartz; many nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Paul Theado, Susan Swartz and Bill Woods. The family extends a heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the kindness and care given Patrick by the staff at Riverside Wesley Health Center. URAM Julie Uram, passed away March 19, 2001 in Mesa, Ariz. Born in Columbus, Oh. on July 14, 1957 and attended Bishop Hartley High School. She is survived by family in Mesa, Ariz. Interment Mesa, Ariz.

VAUGHN Robert E. Vaughn, age 89, of Westerville and of Venice, Fla., Saturday, March 24, 2001 at his Florida residence. Co-founder of Westerville Cleaners in 1945. Member of Dry Cleaners Guild of Columbus, Westerville Lions Club, Knights of Pythians of Westerville, Secretary and Treasurer of Central Drilling Co. Past President of Westerville P.T.A. Preceded in death by father Hugh Vaughn, mother and step-father Blanche and Chris Paykoff, brother Willis Vaughn, half-sisters Mary Thrall and Helen Greismere and half-brother George Paykoff. Survived by loving wife of 68 years, Ellen E. (Bell) Vaughn; children, James and Cindy Vaughn of Galena, Sandy and Victor Meyer of Fredericksburg, Va.; grandchildren, Vicky (Fred) Mock, Lore (Mark) Grim, both of Westerville, Scott (Beth) Vaughn of Gahanna, Victor (Natalie) Meyer of London, England, Dr. David (Linda) Meyer of Richmond, Va. and Sherri Meyer of Charlotte, N.C.; great-grandchilden, Andrea Schneider, Tracey Mock, Kelly and Brandon Grim, McKenzie and Alex Vaughn; great-great-grandchildren, Ondine and Hadrian Meyer; numerous nieces and nephews. WAMSLEY James R. Wamsley, age 75, Columbus, died Thursday, March 29, 2001 at home. Survived by wife, Phyllis; and other relatives. Arrangements to be announced Saturday in The Dispatch by SCHOEDINGER NORRIS CHAPEL, Grove City.

WOLTZ (TAYLOR) Elizabeth L. Taylor Woltz, 84, of Columbus, died Monday March 26, 2001 at home. Member of Bible Baptist Church. Preceded in death by loving Poppy, David R. Taylor, mommy, Mattie L. Taylor, infant son David R. Kingery, husband Noel H. Woltz. Survived by sons, Roger Kingery, Orange Beach, Ala., Daniel R. (Elinor) Kingery, Napa, Calif.; daughter, Martha (Alan) Gaver, Grove City; special daughter, Judy Kingery, Whitehall; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and lifelong friends. Survived by daughters, Dixie Howard and Regina Kaczmarek, both of Columbus, Tammy Wood of Somerset, Oh.; sons, Jack of Millersport and Bruce Woodward of Columbus; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pauline Davis of Cardington, Oh. and Faye McCann of Baltimore, Oh. BAUMANN (CULP) Nancy A. Baumann, age 53, Thursday, March 29, 2001 at Grant Hospital after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Member of St. Andrews Women's Club, St. Charles Mother's Club and volunteer for numerous charitable activities. Preceded in death by father Robert M. Culp. Survived by husband, Michael J.; daughter, Carrie (Andrew) Reis; sons, Patrick (Meredith), Christopher "C.J."; grandchildren, Jacob, Bess and Michael Reis; mother, Bertha E. Culp; brothers, Robert and Joseph Culp; sister, Joan Hoye; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friend, Mary Lee Damron. BEAVERS H.V. Beavers, DVM, of Upper Arlington, died Wednesday March 28, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was a graduate of OSU Veterinary College and maintained his private practice in Grove City, Ohio until December 1, 1994. In addition to his private veterinary practice, he was the Racing Commission veterinarian at Scioto Downs and either the Racing Commission or Track Veterinarian at Beulah Park for over 30 years. He was a member of the Columbus Academy of Veterinary Medicine, the OVMA and the AV MA. He was a member and a past master of the Mt. Sterling Masonic Lodge #269, a member of the Scottish Rite, Shrine and the York Golf Club. He is survived by his wife, Janet; daughters, Brenda Hendricks, Lorna (Duke) Littlejohn; grandchildren, Nicholas and Matthew Miller, Alarah Littlejohn, Elizabeth Hendricks; brother, William E. (Mary) Beavers, DVM; sister, Helen Beavers; brothers-in-law, Robert (Betty) Tracy and Lee (Jean Ann) Tracy. There will be no visiting hours and Graveside Service and interment will be Monday April 2, 2001 at Pleasant Cemetery at 3 p.m. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City.

BENDER Morris Bender, 89, of Columbus. Preceded in death by his wife Yetta and daughter Linda Goldner. Survived by son, Jeffrey (Marjorie) Bender of Columbus; sister, Rose Rotter of Pa.; grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, Andrea and Sharon. Mr. Bender was a member of Agudas Achim Synagogue. Graveside service Sunday 2 p.m. at the New Agudas Achim Cemetery, corner of Performance Pkwy and Alum Creek Dr. with Rabbi Steven Abrams and Cantor Baruch Shifman officiating. Memorials preferred to Agudas Achim Synagogue. Shiva will be held at the Bender residence. Arrangements by THE EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL.

BOBB Barbara Jean Fancher Bobb, age 67, of Columbus, passed away quietly Wednesday March 28, 2001 at Pataskala Oaks Health Care Center. Barbara was born April 28, 1933 in Montrose, Pa. She is preceded in death by daughter Linda Sue Bobb. Survived by husband of 45 years, Emerson Bobb; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Mark McIntyre of Pataskala; grandchildren, Molly Michelle and Michael Mark McIntyre; sister, Ruth (Ola) Dodson of Bradenton, Fla.; brother-in-law, Dick (Betty) Bobb of San Francisco; sister-in-law, Peggy Bobb of Las Vegas; many nieces, nephews and friends; many special friends, including Ginny, Phyllis and Betty. Member of Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, Columbus Country Club, 20 year volunteer at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Survived by children, Brenda (John) Barker of Gahanna, Donna (Mark) Smith, Rita (Grant) DeVones of Grand Rapids, Mich. and Douglas R. Bush; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Edna Manns; 1 nephew; and many friends. Funeral service 10 a.m. Monday at SCHOEDINGER MID-TOWN CHAPEL, 229 E.
