NEIBARGER Rev. Ralph C. Neibarger, age 72, entered into life eternal on January 16, 2001 in Gray Court, S.C. Rev. Neibarger, formerly of Baltimore, Oh., operator and owner of the Baltimore I.G.A. for 20 years. He was pastor of Freedom of Faith Church, Groveport, Oh. for 16 years. He owned and operated Ralph's Crafts in Gray Court, S.C. for the past 3 years. He is survived by his wife, Rev. Helen Worrix Neibarger, 56 Desiree Lane, Gray Court, S.C. 29645.

PARSONS Daniel Robert "Danny" Parsons, age 18, Tuesday, Manor Care, as a result of an automobile accident August 16, 2000. Recent student of Jonathan Alder High School and Pickerington High School. Survived by father, Daniel (Tessie) Parsons; mother, Toni (Charles) Distelhorst; sister, Melissa (Devin Miller) Parsons; half-brother, Kevin Distelhorst; step-brother, Trent; grandparents, Robert and Nancy Parsons; great-grandmother, Hazel Lines; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. PERRY Juna Mae "June" (Borders) Adams Perry, age 95, of Plain City, formerly of Mechanicsburg, died Tuesday, January 30, 2001 at the residence of her son, Dr. John E. Adams. Born March 23, 1905 in Big Sandy, Ky. She was a longtime resident of Mechanicsburg, until moving to Plain City with her son after breaking her hip in 1992. A faithful member of Mechanicsburg Church of God of Prophecy for over 60 years. Preceded in death by first husband John C. Adams, son Charles Thomas Adams and second husband Ivan Perry. Survived by son, John E. (Norma Jean) Adams, DO of Plain City; grandchildren, John E. (Paula) Adams, II, DO, Reggie (Teresa) Adams, Brett Adams and Tammy (Mike) Stalnaker, all of Plain City; great-grandchildren, Kelly, Kyle, Britney, Jessica, Zachary, Adam, Jared, Matthew and Lucas; brother, Fielden Borders of Ashland; close nieces, Mildred Crain of Urbana, Delma Orahood of Marysville and Gladys Piper of Urbana; nephew, Roger Borders of Mich.; step-daughter, Thelma Violet of Mutual. Funeral 10 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2001, FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St., (St. Rte. 161W), Plain City, where the family will receive friends Sunday 4-7 p.m. Pastor Richard Aites officiating. POPE Elsie Thyster Pope, age 86, passed away January 30, 2001 at Traditions at Stygler Rd. Member of Hosack Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband Thomas Pope and son Louis Florence, Jr. Survived by son, Leslie (Raymonde) Florence; daughter, Dorothea Campbell; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Service of memory Friday 10 a.m. in the chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long St. Rev. Weyman Dozier officiating. Family will receive friends Friday 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.

REEVES Mrs. Ruth E. Reeves, of Worthington, age 92, passed away Monday January 29, 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband Morton Y. Reeves. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Marylin (Lee) Leprich of Grand Rapids, Mich. and Sally (Dr. Donald) Lewis of Upper Arlington; her grandchildren, Deborah Nelson, Elizabeth Murphy, Stephen Lewis and Jeffrey Lewis; 6 great-grandchildren; 6 nieces and nephews. A graduate of The Ohio State University, Ruth was an active and loyal volunteer at Inniswood Gardens. She was a member of the Central Ohio Unit of the Herb Society of America, Columbus Bar Auxiliary, Worthington-Sonata Unit of the Columbus Symphony, Pilot Dogs Board and Buckeye Ranch Sustaining Board II. The family will receive visitors Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington, 614-885-4006. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2001 at Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High St., Worthington, Oh. The Rev. Dr. Richard J. Milford officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service in the Woodrow Room. The family requests memorial contributions may be made to Inniswood Gardens, 940 S. Hempstead Rd., Westerville, Oh. 43081 in Ruth's memory.

ROGERS Betty J. Rogers, age 69, Friday, January 26, 2001, O.S.U. Hospital. Survived by sister, Delores (Earl) Simms; 2 nieces. A private service and burial was held January 31, 2001. Arrangements by the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 444-1185.

RUH Roy Lewis Ruh, 75, of Columbus, died January 29, 2001 at his home. He was a retired Truck Driver and a member of Teamsters Local 413. He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy and daughter Bonnie Kapowitz. He is survived by daughter, Pamela K. (Blair) Holmes; grandchildren, Leslie Kapowitz, Noelle Eldridge, Shaun and Erin Holmes; great-grandchildren, Kilee Armistead and Ashley Stanley. Memorial Service will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2001 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Jack Seitzinger officiating. Private family interment. SCHULER Katherine H. Schuler, October 5, 1905 - January 29, 2001. Our unforgetable "Oma" passed away peacefully. She was preceded in death by husband Leo. She is survived by daughter, Mary Lou and son-in-law, Chris Kohnle and her beloved grandchildren, Katy (Rick) Burge, Andy Kohnle, Christy (Rob) Wynn and Tony (Christy) Kohnle; great-grandchildren, Ricky, Mary K., John, Jim, Will, Michael, Nicole, Carly and Lauren; nephew, Lee (Kay) Imhoff. She was a long time dedicated member of Corpus Christi Church, the Columbus Maennerchor and was an honorary member of the Germania. Visitation and prayer service Friday, February 2 from 7-9 p.m. at MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 S. High St. The funeral procession will leave Maeder-Quint-Tiberi Saturday February 3 at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of the Resurrection at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery. Celebrant Fr. Leo Connolly of St. Philip the Apostle Church.

SCOTT Walter M. (Brother) Scott, 84, of Columbus, originally of Chillicothe, went home to be with his Lord. He was surrounded by his loving family when he peacefully departed on Tuesday, January 30, 2001 at Grant Hospital. Walter was born in Chillicothe on November 14, 1916 to Florence Gatliff and Richard Scott. Walter was an active member of Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church for 48 years. Walter retired from the Ross County Engineering Department and the Chillicothe Hospital. Throughout his life Walter was active in his community and never learned how to say, "no." He was a former Chillicothe City Councilman and Ross County Republican Committeeman. In his passing, he leaves to mourn his loving wife, partner, and best friend of 64 years, Helen M. Scott. This longstanding union produced two daughters, Sylvia M. Bayless and Elizabeth A. Scott, both of Columbus. Walter is survived by three sisters and one brother, Emma Lomax, Columbus, Betty Henry, Springfield, Oh., Mary (Bob) Scott, Columbus and Kenneth (Viola) Scott, Calif. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Tarey Harris, Garey (Evelyn) Scott, Kay Scott-Simon, Walter L. Scott, Maria (Jimmy Rice) Thomas and Traci (Eric) Hughey; 11 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Walter is survived by a host of relatives and friends including special loved ones, George and Grace Mosley and Father Mario. Special thanks to Kim Lewis. Walter is preceded in death by his parents and two siblings. Walter's home going will be held Friday, February 2, 2001 at 12noon at the Quinn Chapel A.M.E., 181 W. Main St., Chillicothe with Rev. John Gaitawe officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m.-12noon Friday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of HALLER FUNERAL HOME, 1661 Western Ave., Chillicothe.

SHORT Mary A. Short, age 94, of Circleville, Oh., passed away January 31, 2001 at Berger Hospital. Born February 19, 1906 in Pickaway County, Oh. to the late William and Sarah (Moore) Goeller. Mary was a registered nurse. A member of St. Joseph's Church. Member of the Pickaway Farm Bureau, the Pickaway Horseman's Association, the Altar Society, St. Joseph Senior Club, Guild #20 of Berger Hospital, Volunteer Blood Drive and the Sulkeying Sweeties. Preceded in death by her husband Forrest A. Short, her brothers Bernard Goeller, Joseph Goeller, Charles Goeller, William Goeller, Donald Goeller and Robert Goeller. Survived by daughters and son-in-law, Mary Claire and Larry Wilson of Dover, Oh., Ann Short and Sara Short of Circleville, Oh.; 3 grandchildren, Ralph, Robert and Anton Wilson; 3 great-grandchildren, Danielle Wilson, Billy Smith and Nicholas Wilson; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. February 3, 2001 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Fr. Steve Kriel, Celebrant. Burial St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Circleville. SPARKS Willard Sparks, 69, Sunbury, Wednesday, January 31, 2001, St. Ann's Hospital. Born May 7, 1931 in Johnson County, Ky. U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. Retired from Galena Brick Yard and Nestle's Corp. in Sunbury. Attended Centerburg and Kerz Enterprise Baptist Churches. He enjoyed his family and gardening. Survived by mother, Gusta Sparks; second wife, Neva Mae (Ramey); son, Willard F. Sparks, Sunbury; daughters, Rita (Donald) Hinkle, Sunbury, Diana L. (Ralph) Arms, Mt. Vernon, Angel Kay Arthur, Sunbury; step-sons, Ford Allen Sparks, Russell (Cathy) Sparks, Billy Ray (Barb) Sparks, Ky.; step-daughters, Jo Ann (Howard) Thompson, Gwen (Tom) McKenzie; 7 granchildren; 1 great-grandson; 9 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Darvin Sparks, Mt. Vernon, Russell Sparks, Sunbury; sisters, Betty Evans, Anna Edwards, Judy Lewis, Sunbury, Sue Lemasters, Marion. Preceded in death by father Othie, first wife Betty Jo McKenzie, daughter Judith Darlene. Thompson Dorothy L. Thompson, age 72, of Columbus, died Saturday, January 27, 2001 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents Jesse F. and Gertrude Stevens, husband Utridge E. Thompson and daughter Sharon Thacker. Her survivors include her children, Rebecca, Charles, Thomas, Lou Ann (Jack) and Jesse (Mary); 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Stevens; other relatives and friends.
