DONOVAN Florence Donovan, age 102, widow of Chief Larry Donovan, having lived in three centuries, died at home in Urbana, Oh. Wednesday, January 31, 2001. She was born September 18, 1898 in Milford Center, Oh. to John and Zoe (Epps) Ell. She lived for many years in Bexley, Oh. and attended Christ Lutheran Church. She is survived by her daughter with whom she lived, Patricia (Russell) Thackery of Urbana, Oh.; grandchildren, Donovan (Jenny), Patrick (Patsy), Melinda Thackery of Urbana, Joseph (Kerry) Thackery of Westerville, Oh., Zoe (Daniel) Furgason of Delaware, Oh., Clinton (Elizabeth) Thackery of Anderson, S.C.; great-grandchildren, Chris (Emily) Thackery, Sarah McAtee, Amanda (Dustin) Dulebohn, Russell, Tricia Thackery, Michael and Chris Furgason, Katherine, Kelsey, Matthew and Adrianne Thackery; sister-in-law, Trudie Donovan. We loved her and she loved us, we'll miss her. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother Charles Ell and sister Mary Haley. There will be no visitation and the family requests no flowers. Burial was held Friday, February 2, 2001 at 9:30 a.m. in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana, Oh. WALTER-SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St., Urbana, Oh. is handling arrangements.

DRAUDT Robert F. Draudt, age 63, Sunday at his residence. Employee Meijer Bakery. Former employee of Coca-Cola Co. and Kroger Bakery. Veteran U.S. Army. Survived by niece, Leisa (David) Zorn of Reynoldsburg; great-nephew, Zachary Richard Zorn; aunt, Jeanette Wellman of Pickerington; uncles, Paul (Jean) Dittman of Chillicothe and Norman Edwards; sister-in-law, Freida Draudt; many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents Clarence and Florence Draudt and brother Richard Draudt. Services were held at EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Ave. on Thursday 2 p.m. February 1, 2001. Chris MacNeal, Minister, officiated. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.

FARAHAY Thomas E. Farahay, 80, of Delaware, died Thursday, February 1, 2001 at his home. Born September 6, 1920 in Clifton, Ariz. to James and Hazel (Martin) Farahay. Survived by wife of 51 years, Ida M. (Schoettle); 2 sons, Thomas G. (Dolly) and James Dean (Cathy), all of Delaware; daughter, Susan L. (John) Gingerich of Ft. Myers, Fla.; 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and a brother. A graduate of Willis High School and Ohio Wesleyan University where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. He served in the Coast Guard in WWII. Longtime employee and Vice President of Wilson's, CJ of Course. Active member of First Presbyterian Church, Delaware Athletic Boosters, Sarah Moore Home Board; the Delaware Chamber of Commerce; Delaware Retail Merchants Assoc., the Red Cross and the American Legion. Visitation Sunday 2-3 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 73 W. William St., Delaware, where a Memorial Service will follow at 3 p.m. A private graveside service will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati. Contributions to the First Presbyterian Church, 73 W. Winter St., Delaware County American Red Cross, 5 W. Winter St. or the Sarah Moore Home, 26 N. Union St., Delaware, OH 43015. GEORGE Florence R. George, age 83, of Delaware, died Wednesday, January 31, 2001 at Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware, Oh. Preceded in death by her husband Lewis George. She is survived by her children, Michele (Jonathan) Frank of Englewood, N.J. and Daniel George of Delaware; grandchildren, Lisa Lauderdale and Heather Frank; sisters and brothers. Member of F.O.E. #376 Ladies Auxiliary and the O.E.S. A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, February 4 and the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington with the F.O.E. Ladies Auxiliary officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

HAMILTON Mary L. Hamilton, age 80, of Georgetown, Tex., formerly of Columbus, Oh., passed away Thursday, February 1, 2001. Mrs. Hamilton was born on December 10, 1920 at Ft. Worth, Tex. to James Robert Noble and Katherine McKeon Noble. She married H. William Hamilton on September 21, 1946 and he preceded her in death on February 6, 1991. Mrs. Hamilton was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Georgetown, Tex. She is survived by a son, Paul Hamilton of Georgetown, Tex.; daughters, Katherine Hamilton Anthony of Georgetown, Tex. and Joan Hamilton Huber and husband, Michael of Pflugerville, Tex.; grandchildren, Patrick Anthony and Caitlin Anthony, both of Georgetown, Tex. and Claire Huber of Pflugerville, Tex.; and a brother-in-law, Elmer Dixson of Tyler, Tex. A Vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2001 at COOK-WALDEN/DAVIS FUNERAL HOME with Deacon Joe Ruiz officiating. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2001 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Georgetown, Tex. with Rev. Wm. Michael Mulvey, Celebrant. HODGES Rosella Y. Hodges, age 79, Monday January 29, 2001 at the O.S.U. East Hospital. Preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Gertrude Lattimer, brothers Taylor and Jeff, sister Mosella Perkins, loving daughter Vickie (Hodges) Miller. Survived by devoted husband, Clarence Hodges; daughters, Marilyn Hilton McCoy, Jacqueline (Franklin) Houston and Cheri Hill; 11 adoring grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends. Funeral 8 p.m. Monday at the chapel of the C.D. WHITE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1217 Mt. Vernon Ave. Pastor Ricky Baker, Sr. Officiant. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until time of service. Interment 10 a.m. Tuesday at Eastlawn Cemetery.

HOLLAND Charles I. Holland, Sr., age 87, of Circleville, died January 31, 2001 in Berger Hospital. Born March 25, 1913 in Circleville, the son of the late Charles W. and Eva Holland. Mr. Holland was a member of the First Church of God, VFW #2331. Retired from the Container Corporation and was an Army Veteran of WW II serving in the 104th Infantry in the European Theater. He was awarded the Bronze Star, Central European Campaign, German Occupation, Victory and Good Conduct medals. He is survived by sons, Richard "Dick" (Carol) Holland of Amanda, Charles I. "Chuck" (Vera) Holland, Jr, of Circleville and Larry L. Holland of Atlanta, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, John Holland, Harold "Pete" Holland and David "Duke" (Shirley) Holland, all of Circleville; sister, Martha (David) Montgomery of Circleville. Preceded in death by his wife Evelyn L. Holland, daughter JoAnne Keeton, 2 grandchildren, brothers William "Bill", Thomas and Joseph Holland and sisters Evelyn, Ellen and Genevieve. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the MADER-PETERS FUNERAL HOME, Circleville with Rev. Wayne Green and Rev. Keith Davis officiating. Burial will follow with military Honors in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. until time of service on Saturday. JACOBS Harold W. Jacobs, 92, of Mt. Sterling, died Wednesday, January 31, 2001 at Arbors Nursing Home, London. He was born August 25, 1908 in Mt. Sterling, the son of Edward and Ella (Shepherd) Jacobs. Preceded in death by parents, brothers Glen, Floyd, Thomas, Ralph and Robert Jacobs and sister, Marie Warden. Survived by his wife, Helen (Mason) Jacobs; son, Harold (Jake) Jacobs, Jr.; brother, James (Opal) Jacobs, all of Mt. Sterling; several nieces and nephews. A Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. at the PORTER FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Dortha Ross will officiate with the interment to follow in Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday February 2 at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m.

Johnson (W8CFG) Richard H. Johnson Jr., age 78, of Westerville, Oh., died Wednesday, January 31, 2001 at his home. He was the son of the late Richard H. Johnson and Dorothy Primm Johnson of Danville, Ill. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Opal Stafford Johnson; children, Richard (Suzanne) Johnson of Germantown, Tenn., Kathryn (Douglas) Hightower of Casa Grande, Ariz., Paul (Natalia) Johnson of Columbus, Oh., Georgia (Michael) Mahaffey of Gahanna, Oh., Mary Theurer Johnson (sister-in-law) of Chatum, NJ; sister, Sally Froman of Raliegh, NC and Mary (Richard) Angerer of Cockeysville, Md.; seven granddaughters, two grandsons, one great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; brother Hubert P. Johnson and brother-in-law John W. Froman. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1947 from the University of Illinois. Retired from Bell Telephone Laboratories/Lucent in 1984. He was a veteran of WW II, served in the Pacific Theatre in the Signal Corps with the rank of 1st Lieutenant. Member of Young Budd 171 American Legion. He has been a Ham Radio operator for 60 years with his call sign W8CFG. He is past president of the Columbus Ham Radio Club. Member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonel since 1988. A member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Westerville, Oh., where he was active in founding Cub Scout Pack 85, sang in the Choir and served on the finance committee. Friends may call at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Prayer service will be at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 N. State St., Westerville. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3380 Tremont Rd., Columbus, OH 43221 or Mt. Carmel Hospice, 793 W. State St., Columbus, OH 43222-9988.

JUSTUS Phyllis R. Justus, age 74, of Reynoldsburg, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2001. She is preceded in death by her mother and father and brother Robert Eucker. She is survived by her husband, Edgar Justus; sons, Michael (Pauline) Lucas and James (Phyllis) Kukucka; daughter, Darla (Daryl) Scheuhrer; step-son, Terry (Beatrice) Justus; brother, Ralph (Nancy) Eucker; step-daughter, Debra Justus; grandchildren; step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren. She had requested to be cremated. A memorial service will be held for her Saturday, February 3, 2001 at the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7360 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg.

KAO Tsangshu Kao, M.D., age 83, of Hilliard, Tuesday, January 30, 2001. Survived by wife, Pihsia Kao; children, Hwawen, Joan (Raymond), Hwasun, Hwachung, Peter (Mei), Karen (Peter); grandchildren, Stephen, Jennifer, Jerry, Amy and Kathleen. KEMPTON Regena Fay Kempton, age 64, joined her son, Steve, in Heaven on January 31, 2001 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her beloved son Stephen R. Kempton, parents John and Mallie Liles, sisters Blanche and Bethel and brother Eddie. Her life was dedicated to the children and grandchildren she loved so much. She will be deeply missed and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. She is survived by daughters, Kim (Greg) and Sherri; son, Darren (Kim); grandchildren, Shawna (whom she helped raise), Jonathan, Jessica, Randall and Amanda; great-grandchildren, T.J. and Kyra; niece, Cheryl Bush; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. KLETROVETS Anna Maxine Kletrovets, age 83, of Sunbury, died Wednesday, January 31, 2001 at Delaware Court Nursing Home. Preceded in death by husband Robert Frank Kletrovets, parents Ray and Chloe (Cline) Dixon, 1 son Theodore Kletrovets and 2 brothers Gorman and Gerald Dixon. Survived by son, Robert (Pat) Kletrovets, Sunbury; daughter, Judy (Edward) Taylor, Delaware; 5 grandchildren, Jon Kletrovets, Sunbury, Eric Kletrovets, Sunbury, Alicia Pool, Delaware, Robert R. Cain, Delaware and Thomas W. Cain, Cardington; brother, Jimmie (Esther) Jack Dixon, Sunbury; numerous nieces and nephews; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Helen Dixon, McConnelsville and Iona Dixon, Westerville.
