HARTZLER Mary Alice Hartzler, age 81, of Wickenberg, Ariz., formerly of Columbus, Oh. died Tuesday, January 30, 2001, Boswell Memorial Hospital, Sun City, Ariz. Member of Liberty Presbyterian Church and a 1937 graduate of North High School. Preceded in death by former spouse Donald V. Wood and brother Charles G. Mackey. Survived by husband, Thomas K. Hartzler of Ariz.; daughter, Carol (Jim) Kammerud of Worthington; step-sons, Steve Hartzler, Tom Hartzler, David Hartzler, Dan Hartzler and their families; grandchildren, Carrie (Jeremiah) Evans and Jesse Kammerud of Worthington; great-granddaughter, Abigail Evans; sisters-in-law, Norma Bachman of Columbus and Delores Johnson of Dallas, Tex. HUNTER Charles W. Hunter, age 65, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2001. Retired from Buckeye Steel Casting Co. Member of Shadeville Church of God. Survived by wife, Geneve; children, John Hunter, B.J. (Jim) Jobe, Rhonda (Lloyd) Nichols, Gale Martin, Diane (Arbie) Mount, James Blankenship, Irene (Bob) Hickman, Gary (Mary) Blankenship, and Terry (Lisa) Blankenship; 24 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces, Sandy Adkins and Georgene Conley. HYSELL Norman W. Hysell, Sr., of Gulfport, Fla., a retired auto mechanic, passed away January 19, 2001. He moved to Fla. in 1982 from Columbus, Oh. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Joan Hysell; sons, Terry, Norman, Jr., Kirk, Richard, Robert and John, all of Fla. and James A. of Columbus, Oh.; 11 grandchildren.

Jones Gertrude Jones, age 80, passed Thursday, February 1, 2001 at the Wexner Heritage House. Retiree of Ohio State University after 27 years of service. Faithful member of Travellers Rest Baptist Church for over 31 years. Preceded in death by parents Will and Bell Loman Jackson, 5 brothers and 2 sisters and husband Howard Jones. Survived by son, John C. McGANNON Howard E. (Mac) McGannon, born August 16, 1920, died Thursday, February 1, 2001. A lifelong resident of Columbus and the West Side, Howard was a 1939 graduate of West High School, served in the U.S. Army in England during WW II, worked for David Davies Meats, State Farm Insurance, DeVoe Reynolds Paints, Seagram Distillers and retired from Protection Service, Inc. He was a loving father, husband and friend to all who knew him. Member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his father Henery V. McGannon, mother Ellen Yates McGannon, brother William A. McGannon. Survived by wife, Letty; son, Michael (Lee) McGannon; daughter, Nancy (Jim) Fry; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many dear family members. McGUIRE Dorothy Hills Sellery McGuire, age 85, passed away at home on January 15, 2001. Survived by hr devoted daughters, Anne Sellery Webster and Martha Sellery Brown (Bob); step-sons, Terry McGuire, Michael McGuire (Carol), Linda McGuire; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by husband R. Thomas Sellery, son Thomas Hills Sellery and husband Robert O. McGuire. Dottie lived in Columbus, Oh. from 1955 to 1974 and in Silverado, Napa, Calif. for the duration of her life.
