BEESON Glenna Jean Beeson, age 69, of Westerville, departed this world to be with her soulmate on February 3, 2001 at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville. Preceded in death by husband Richard Beeson, parents Thomas and Rose (Woolly) Wilson, brother Charles E. Wilson and sister Faye Dixon. Survived by nieces, Julie (Jim) Bennett of Coolville, Sharon Wynne of Johnstown and Janet (Jr.) Kemper of Bidwell; nephew, Steve (Becky) Wilson of Newark; several great-nieces and nephews. Member Christian Advent Church of Morrow County. Calling hours will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday on February 6, 2001 at the CROUSE-KAUBER FUNERAL HOME, Johnstown, where service will be held Wednesday 2:30 p.m. on February 7, 2001. Burial in Fancher Cemetery.

BUKER Joseph E. Buker, age 52, of Whitehall, Oh., passed away suddenly Saturday, February 3, 2001 at his residence. He was employed with the Kroger Co. and a Vetearn of the Vietname War. He was survived by his mother, Betty Buker; step-father, Sam Mandina; sister, Marsha (Roger) Fritter; niece and nephew, Michelle (Jarrod) Norman and Mike Fritter; adopted nieces, Stephanie (Lee) Chattos, Misty (Brian) Armstrong; adopted nephews, Adam (Kim) Clark, Bobby (Cindy) Clark; 3 aunts, Mildred Anderson, Kay Lane and Ellen Moore. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Buker and 1 uncle Donald Buker. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2001 at 11 a.m. at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster, Oh. with Rev. Mike Holbrook officiating. Family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Circleville First Church, 436 E. Ohio St., Circleville, Oh.

CONRAD Margaret Mildred Conrad, Sunday, February 4, 2001 at Friendship Village. Member of Indianola Church of Christ and AFL-CIO Retirement Club. Retired after 40 years from Timken Roller Bearing. Preceded in death by husband Clarence E. Conrad and son Charles David Ridgeway. Survived by daughter, Mildred Elias of Columbus; son, Lemuel "Clay" Ridgeway of Columbus; grandson, Gary (Marlene) Childre of San Diego, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Donna Ridgeway of Columbus; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Annie B. Green of East Liverpool and Helen T. Green of W. Va.; brother, Paul J. (Gloria) Spinks of Maryland; several nieces and nephews; best friend for many years, Frances Wachholtz of Columbus. DEFFET Viola Deffet, age 97, Thursday, February 1, 2001 at her home. Preceded in death by her husband Peter, sisters Ida Carroll and Julie Hanson, brother Joe Schell, daughter-in-law Marie Deffet. She is survived by children, Jeanne Rainoldi of Billerica, MA, Joseph (Mary) of Dayton, OH, James of Portsmouth, RI, George (Rose) of Key West, FL, Thomas Deffet of Ft. Myers, FL; sister, Hazel Sorensen of Holiday, FL; nieces, Rosemarie (Howard) Haddow, Barbara (Dusty) Dusterburg, both of Columbus; 24 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren. Raised in Fulda, Oh., she was a graduate of Bliss College and a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish for 54 years. Mrs. Deffet was a Senior Companion for Catholic Social Services for 20 years. DOUPLE Barrie Ann (Ramage) Douple, age 38, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2001, from liver cancer. She was a leader of Brownie Troop #236 for 2 years, a volunteer for Adventures for Wish Kids for 3 years, and worked for Corvette Corner since 1982. She was an avid scrapbooker since 1997, and enjoyed trips to the local scrapbook stores. She is survived by her husband of 8 years and partner for life, Bryan; mother, Ollie; father and step-mother, Kenneth and Lynda Ramage; sisters, Jerri (Michael) Shafer and Lori (Ronald) Karn; nieces and nephews, Brittany, Jason, Sean, Kelly, Ryan, Rachel, Emily, and Jordan; mother and father-in-law, Stanley and Gladys Douple; pets, Shadow, Shelby, and Bones; and many other special friends and loved ones. Her family will receive friends at the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where her service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in her memory to Adventures for Wish Kids, 2097 S. Hamilton Rd., Room 113, Columbus, Ohio 43232.

FLEISCHHAUER Dorothy Fleischhauer, age 86, died February 1, 2001 in Sonoma, Calif. A resident of Calif. since 1993 and a native of Milwaukee, Wis. Wife of the late Wolfgang Fleischhauer, Ph.D.; mother of John D. Fleischhauer of Sonoma, Calif. and Carl Fleischhauer of Port Republic, Md.; sister of Herbert E. Gausewitz of Wis.; mother-in-law of Heather M. Fleischhauer and Paula J. Johnson; sister-in-law of Mary (Wendy) Gausewitz; grandmother of Laura Burton. Private family service will be held. Inurnment at Graceland Cemetery, Milwaukee, Wis. Donations to Clinton Heights Lutheran Church, 10 Clinton Heights Ave., Columbus, Oh. 43202 are preferred. FOREMAN William O. Foreman, 84, of Columbus, Oh., died Sunday morning, February 4, 2001 at Sunrise on the Scioto in Columbus. He was a retired Metal Worker at North American-Rockwell in Columbus, Oh. A U.S. Army Veteran, serving during WW II from January 24, 1942 until his honorable discharge on October 16, 1945. He served in the Western Pacific and Ryukyus and received the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon with 2 Bronze Stars and the Good Conduct Ribbon. Born April 1, 1916 in Mason County, W.Va., he was a son of the late William W. and Ada (Plants) Foreman. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by 2 brothers Ellsworth Foreman and Byron Aaron Foreman and a sister Edith M. Foreman. He is survived by a sister, Gladys L. Daugherty of Columbus, Oh.; brother, John F. Foreman of Columbus, Oh.; 3 nephews, William Daugherty and Stewart Foreman, both of Columbus, Oh. and Tad Foreman of Irving, Tex. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2001 at the CROW-HUSSELL FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Jefferson Blvd., Point Pleasant, W.Va. with Rev. Justin Moran officiating. Burial will follow in the Greer Cemetery, Point Pleasant, W.Va., where military graveside rites will be conducted by the American Legion, Mason County Post #23. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 a.m. until service time.

GARLING Tyler Michael Garling, age 1 year, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2001 at Children's Hospital. Survived by parents, April Barnes and Cory Garling; sister, Ciara Collier; grandparents, Wilma Sams, Joe Vannata, Carolyn and Gary Garling; great-grandparents, Herbert and Sandra Dingess, Harold and Darlene Ramey; aunts, Lisa Sams and Angie Hamilton; uncle, Jason Garling; and a host of other relatives and friends. GORSUCH Gary D. Gorsuch, age 60, died suddenly Saturday, February 3, 2001 at home. Preceded in death by father Harold Gorsuch and grandson Todd Rhoades. Survived by wife, Esther; son, Michael Gorsuch; mother, Frances; brother, Rick (Paula) Gorsuch; sisters, Diane Gorsuch, Paula (Robert) Jenkins, Marla (Bob) Fowler; daughters, Connie (Terry) Holder, Sandy (Bob) Raby, Edie (Tim) Buckle, Robin (Tommy) Lewis, Rusty Walters; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren (of which he was like a "Dad" to Alyda and Jennifer); and many other relatives and friends. GREENE Ernest James Greene, age 51, of Howard, Oh., Sunday, February 4, 2001 at Knox Community Hospital, Mt. Vernon, Oh. A member of the Grace Fellowship Church. Recently became a licensed minister. Preceded in death by parents Arnold and Belva (Boggs) Greene. Survived by loving wife of 30 years, Margaret; children, Tina (Todd) Doup of N.C., Amy Greene of Fredericktown, Oh., Kimberly Green of Howard, Oh.; sisters and brothers, Jackie Greene of Columbus, Jean Gilliam, Eddie Greene, Martin Greene, Cody Greene, Suzie Gilliam, Tommy Greene and Timmy Greene, all of Ky.; grandson, Tristin Repp; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. HARTMAN Kenneth T. Hartman, age 81, of Reynoldsburg, went to be with the Lord Monday, February 5, 2001 at Kobacker House after a long battle with cancer. Member of World Harvest Church. WW II U.S. Army Veteran. Life member of VFW, Columbus. Survived by loving wife of 55 years, Eleanor; daughter, Tondalaya (Steven) Hatton, Reynoldsburg; son, John (Debbie) Hartman, Lancaster; grandchildren, Teffrey Caldwell and Cody Hatton, Trevor and Miles Hartman; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by daughter Cindy Lou Hartman in 1952, parents John and Anna (Combs) Hartman and 7 brothers and sisters. Friends may visit Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the DWAYNE R. HILYARD David A. Hilyard, 37, of Circleville, died February 4, 2001 at his residence. He was born June 1, 1963 in Cleveland, the son of David and Martha (Hirst) Hilyard. He was a chef for Deercreek Resort. He is survived by his parents; son, Andrew Curtis Hilyard; sisters, Crista (Peter) Dohoda of Medina and Liza (Michael) Tackett of Chillicothe; brother, Jeffery Hilyard of Columbus; nieces, Miranda Dohoda, Calina Hilyard and Caitlin Conkel.
