VINCENT Lorine H. Vincent, 69, Delaware, died February 7, 2001 at Wintersong Village Nursing Home after an extended illness. Born July 25, 1931 in Morgantown, W.Va. to Harley A. and Ruby (Berry) Hundley. She was a member of the Kilbourne United Methodist Church. Retired after 25 years at Lucent Technologies. She enjoyed flower gardening and reading. She is survived by her husband, William H. Vincent of 32 years; 6 sons, William H. (Helen) Vincent, Jr. of St. Louis, Mo., G. Daniel (Rose) Sanders of Granville, Robert F. Vincent of Dublin, David A. (Lori) Sanders of Granville, Kevin L. (Kris) Sanders of Phoenix, Ariz. and Jon Paul Vincent of Delaware; 1 daughter, Charlotte A. (Don) Stygler of Newark; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Richard Hundley of Columbus and Harley A. Hundley, Jr. of Mercer, Pa.; 1 sister, Louise Brugere of Pittsburgh, Pa. She is preceded in death by her parents and 1 infant brother. ADAMS Belva M. (Lambert) Adams, age 62, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 8, 2001. Preceded in death by husbands Jack Lambert and Darwin Adams, son John Brandon, Sr., parents John and Florence Jenkins of Morgan Co., Ky., brothers Isaac, Lum, Edgar, Jim and Williard Jenkins. BLANKENSHIP Terry Blankenship, age 38, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2001. He was formerly employed at Grant Medical Center. Member of the Shadeville Church of God. Survived by wife, Lisa; children, Terry II, Seth and Michaela Blankenship; father, Troy Blankenship; mother, Geneva Hunter; sisters, Gale Martin, Irene Hickman, Diane Mount, Rhonda Nichols and B.J. Jobe; brothers, Gary and James Blankenship and John Hunter; nieces and nephews. BROWN Doris McLean Campbell Brown, age 89, a lifelong resident of Columbus and Upper Arlington, died Tuesday, February 6, 2001 at The Forum at Knightsbridge. She was the widow of Dr. John Q. Brown, Sr. M.D. who died in June, 2000. She is survived by her son, John Q. Brown, Jr. and wife, Prasopporn Y. (Na) of Columbus; daughters, Marjorie M. Brown, Columbus, Julia G. Brown and husband, Mitchell Wagner of San Diego, Calif., Ann C. Brown and husband, Kenneth Holroyd of Athens, OH.; granddaughter, Kathyrn B. Holroyd. She was a graduate of Grandview High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree and Master's degree in Zoology from The Ohio State University, where she was a member of honorary societies, Scholaris; Chimes; Mortar Board, and its alumni association for over 60 years; Phi Beta Kappa and Kappa Alpha Theta, and its alumni association for over 60 years. She was a member of First Congregational Church, Twig #11, Children's Hospital, YWCA, and the Auxiliary of Columbus Academy of Medicine. She was a member and avid supporter of the Camp Fire Girls, Inc. and Camp Wyandot for almost 70 years and past President of Franklin County Council of Camp Fire Inc. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2001. BUTTERWORTH Bernard T. Butterworth, age 71, died Thursday, January 25, 2001 in Eustis, Fla. Born in Columbus, Oh. Survivors include sons, Mike Butterworth of Reynoldsburg, Mark Butterworth of Worthington and Mitchell Butterworth of Ft. Meade, Md.; brother, Bernal Butterworth of Casselberry, Fla.; 7 grandchildren. Member of Elks Lodge of Orlando and the Builders Industry Association of Columbus and a U.S. Army Veteran. Memorial Service Saturday 3 p.m. at Grace Brethren Church at Polaris in the DeArmy Center, 8225 Worthington-Galena Rd., Westerville. DARST Melvin Clyde Darst, age 89, died Wednesday, February 7, 2001 at Monterey Care Center. Preceded in death by wife Rosemary. Survived by nephews, Donald Darst, Robert Darst, Edgar Guitner and Larry Guitner; nieces, Marsha McIntosh and Diana Cusic; great-nephews, Edward McIntosh, Isaac Downin and Robert Darst; great-niece, Cindy Downin. Served in the U.S. Navy. Veteran of WW II and served on the USS Arizona. Life member of the V.F.W. Member of the American Legion. Retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 27 years. DELAY Ralph E. Delay, 77, of Columbus, died Thursday, February 8, 2001 in Columbus Rehabilitation Center. He was born May 25, 1923 in London, Ohio, the son of Clyde and Margaret Mae (Hauck) Delay. Mr. Delay was a retired farmer of Pickaway County. Member of Derby United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge #269 F.&A.M. of Mt. Sterling, Sterling Chapter #74 O.E.S., Board member of Harrisburg Bank of 20 years, Past President of Landmark in Derby, Ohio Harness Horseman's Association, U.S.T.A. (United States Trotting Association), and served in the U.S. Marine Corp. during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Joann; son, Huck (Terri) Hemphill; grandsons, Brock, Kyle, and Sean Hemphill; special niece, Sheila Taylor. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 11, 2001 at the PORTER FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. until time of service. A Masonic Service will follow at the close of the Memorial. Rev. Ken Kirt and Rev. Pam Brater will officiate. At the request of Mr. Delay, cremation has taken place. The burial will be at a later date in Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling.

Preceded in death by husband George Lee Butler, parents Frank and Ethel Logan, sisters Madge Armstrong and Ella Logan, brothers George, James, Bill and Archie Logan, step-son George Butler, Jr. Survived by step-daughter, Sarah (John) Faire of Compton, Calif.; grandson, Larry (Carol) Mitchell of Columbus; niece, Mary (Donald) Turner of Washington C.H.; special luncheon friends at Marion Square Senior Center and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service Saturday 10 a.m. in the chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long St. Mr. Brendan Rocks officiating.
