MILLER Elizabeth A. (Barrett) Miller, age 40, of Columbus, died suddenly Tuesday February 6, 2001 at home. Survived by son, Shane S. Williamson; daughter, Molly A. Plum of Chester, W.Va.; son, Jacob T. Miller of Columbus, Oh.; grandson, Freddie L. Plum III of Chester, W.Va.; brothers, Thomas D. Barrett, Jerry A. Barrett, David B. Barrett; sistres, Jeanne E. Barrett and Terri M. Basham, all of Columbus. Close friends and family who wish to visit with the immediate family on Saturday, February 10, 2001 from 2-4 p.m. may call 471-2337 for directions.

MOORE Janelle L. (Egland) Moore, age 59, of 9 South Main St., Fredericktown, died Wednesday, February 7, 2001 at her residence following an extended illness. Janelle was born August 21, 1941 in Rochelle, Ill. and moved to Fredericktown 15 years ago from Orwell, Oh. Janelle was a very active member of the Fredericktown Nazarene Church, where she had served as Sunday School Teacher, Women's Ministry Director and Children's Ministry Director, and she had served as a volunteer for Interchurch Social Services. Surviving are her husband, Charles R. Moore; 4 sons, Charles Perry (Jennifer) Moore of Sierra Madre, Calif., Stephen (Patricia) Moore of Rome, Oh., Avery (Emily) Moore of Topeka, Kan. and Eric (Tracy Givens) Moore of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Katerina Moore, Monica Sigman and Jonathan Meto; her parents, Victor and Erna (Marske) Egland of Fredericktown; 3 brothers, Edward Egland, Alvin Egland and Thomas Egland, all of Columbus. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, Fredericktown. Service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Fredericktown Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Kenneth Miller officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown. Memorial contributions can be made to the family, the Fredericktown Nazarene Church or Gideons International.

MUNDAY Mildred Brand Munday, of Clintonville, 82, died February 4, 2001. She was born in Lynchbury, Va. to the late Cary P. and Mina Crank Munday. She was preceded in death by her brother Clarence and her sister Virginia. She served her country during the Second World War, attaining the rank of Captain. She was a graduate of Randolph-Macon Women's College (B.A.), Smith College (M.A.) and the University of Wisconsin (Ph.D.). Professor Emerita of English at The Ohio State University, she specialized in Shakespearean studies and women in literature. Co-founder of the Center for Women's Studies at OSU, she was a champion of equal rights and advocate for social justice. Her cogent letters were frequently published in the Columbus Dispatch. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made to Mildred Munday Scholarship Fund, c/o College of Humanities, 186 University Hall, 230 N. Oval Mall, 43210. NOWLIN Mrs. Margaret Nowlin, age 80, was called home to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 4, 2001 at Lutheran Village Care Center. Member of Christ Memorial Baptist Church, where she served as an usher. Retired as Nurses Aid from O.S.U. Hospital. Preceded in death by parents David and Tempy Williams Johnson, brother Willie Johnson, sister Lillie Mae Henry. Survived by loving and devoted husband, William E. Nowlin; daughter, Shelley (Al-Azawa) Hopson; step-son, Marshall Cobb; granddaughters, Alicia and Elianna Hopson; sisters, Sarah Wright, Frances Harris, both of Larmarque, Tex., Bonnie (Winfred) Johnson; step-father-in-law, Herbert Herd, Roderfield, W.Va.; brother-in-law, Charles E. Nowlin; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and many friends. Homegoing Celebration 10 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2001, Mt. Period Baptist Church, 462 Kimball Place. POSTLE Rosemary Postle, age 79, of Columbus, Friday, January 26, 2001 at the Columbus Alzheimer's Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband Orville "Curly" Postle. Survived by sisters, Frances Veit and Lucille LeKander; brothers, Clyde Malay, Jr. and James Malay, Sr.; many nieces, nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. RIFE Chester Harold Rife, age 87, of Hilliard, Tuesday, February 6, 2001 at the Convalarium at Indian Run. Preceded in death by brothers and sister. Former co-owner of Rife's Market and former owner of Rife Hardware Store in Hilliard. Retired Sales Associate of Lazarus Department Store. Member of St. John Lutheran Church of Dublin and former member of Grace Lutheran Church, Arcadia, Fla. Survived by beloved wife of 67 years, Vera; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Frank Oyster of Hilliard; grandsons, Randy and Robyn Oyster of Tipp City, Oh., Ryan Oyster of Columbus; great-granddaughters, Morgan and Mikayla Oyster of Tipp City; brother, Paul Rife of Wis.; sister, Janet Wygle of Marion, Oh. Survived by his wife, Grace Rose; daughters, Jennifer (Adam) Todd, Karen, Elaine, Tracy, and Sally; sons, David Rose and Lawrence Rose Jr. of the residence; stepchildren, Jackie Craddock, Diane Neal, Patrick, Michael, and Douglas Alexander; 22 grandchildren; mother, Maida Camp; sister, Carol (Don) Richardson; brother, Roger (Lisa) Rose; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. SMITH Helen Reilly Smith, of Upper Arlington, Oh., passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital on Wednesday, February 7, 2001. A devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Michael Reilly, brothers Richard, Jim, Bill and Paul Reilly. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Richard "Harpo" Smith of Upper Arlington; daughters, Sandy (Tom) Moorehead of Westerville, Stephanie (Dr. Stephen) Hutcheson of Lancaster, Sally (George) Stauffer of Columbus, Suzette (Bob) Saltsman of Upper Arlington, Stacie (Tom) Potter of Upper Arlington; son, Sean Smith of Columbus; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Reilly of Dresden, Betty Coyle of Zanesville and Patty Armsbrust of Dresden; brothers, Charles (Betty) Reilly of Zanesville and Larry Reilly of Dresden; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. TAYLOR Everett B. Taylor III, 66. Born 15 October 1934, Columbus, Oh. His future address will be Heaven 6 February 2001 from Mt. Carmel East. A heart attack occurred on 31 January 2001. We will celebrate his life and recall many fond memories. He is survived by his wife, Roberta (Hoodlet) Taylor, married 22 July 1956 and to that union there is no issue. Everett graduated from Upper Arlington, Class of 1952, then attended OSU. He started out as a steeplejack in the family business; worked in management at Stouffer's, Crown Inn and Park-A-Lot, Inc. He established his own business, Dis-Ko Services, Inc. in 1987, and had been retired since 1992. He is a member of the Columbus Maennerchor, Franklin County Genealogical & Historical Society, The Benjamin Franklin Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, American Pomeranian Club and a past Board of Directors of the Ohio Valley Pomeranian Club. Everett touched many lives and those who met him will always remember him as the family historian. Telling narrations of the lives and incidences of families was his forte'. Everett enjoyed gospel singing and last attended The First Pentecostal Gospel Church, Sunday 28 January 2001. He will be missed by many. Also survived by his sisters, Elizabeth S. McKnight, Columbus, Oh., Pamela (husband, Bill Fox), Indian Springs, Oh.; sister-in-law, Evelyn (husband, Frank Hunter), Alpena, Mich.; brother-in-law, Bernard Hanhilammi, Galena, Oh.; 7 nephews; 7 nieces; 7 grand-nephews; 2 grand-nieces; 1 uncle; 2 aunts; a special cousin, Marylou E. Myers; many cousins, friends, neighbors and 4 pomeranians. Preceded in death by grandparents Everett B. and Sena F. (Fultz) Taylor Sr., James D. and Lizzie D. (Myers) Grover, (all 4 grandparents were ministers in the Apostolic Faith), father and mother Everett B. and Ada Kathryn (Grover) Taylor Jr., sister Peggy A.
