PRICE William A. Price, Sr., 74, of Riverview, Fla., died February 7, 2001 at his residence. He was born in Columbus, Oh. and moved to Fla. in 1999. He retired as General Foreman for ASARCO Co. after 40 years of service. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and was a member of F.O.E. Linden Chapter and Amvets Post #89 in Columbus, Oh. He is survived by his son, William A., Jr. and his wife, Barbara of Riverview, Fla.; 2 daughters, Beverly Brown and her husband, Roger of London, Oh. and Barbara Price of Columbus, Oh.; mother, Edris Kellett; sister, Beverly Young, both of Columbus, Oh.; brother, Ted and his wife, Catherine of Whitehall, Oh.; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to LifePath Hospice, 1647 Sun City Center Plaza, Suite 104, Sun City Center, Fla. 33573. Arrangements FAMILY FUNERAL CARE, Sun City Center, Fla., 813-634-9900.

REDD Lynn Lee Redd was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 8, 2001 after a long illness. She was born on April 10, 1963 in Grand Forks, N.D. Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents John (Willie) Bryan and her maternal grandparents Johnny (Roberta) and aunt Gwendolyn Washington of Dover, Del. She leaves to grieve a mother, Doris Hooper; 1 brother, Bryan Smith; 2 sisters, Amber Smith and Robin Hooper; uncles, John (Melba) Bryan, Franklin (Joyce) Bryan and Arthur Washington; special friend, M. C. Briley; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial Service Monday 2 p.m., McNABB FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 818 E. Long St. Rev. Kenneth Flowers officiating.

ROBINSON Frank Henry Robinson, age 84, died February 7, 2001 in Lexington, S.C. Retired from General Motors. Volunteer with the National Health Care in West Columbia, S.C. Member of the United Workers Association and the Moose Lodge. Veteran WW II U.S. Navy. Preceded in death by wife Vanona V., parents Frank Edwin and Myrtle Mallory Robinson. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and John See of Coral Springs, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, Frank Edward and Marcia Robinson of Lexington; sisters, Ruth Kunselman of Erie, Pa., Verna Heald of Corry, Pa.; grandson, Jonathan Frank Robinson of Lexington. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Sunday 6-8 p.m., where service will be held 10 a.m. Monday. Dr. Gerald Koster officiating. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery. THOMAS James (Pto) Albert Thomas, 77. The memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2001 at St. Philips Lutheran Church, 1506 East Long St., Columbus, Oh.

WARNER Lew Henry Warner, 74, of Richwood, died unexpectedly Wednesday, February 7, 2001 at home. Born May 28, 1926 in Worthington, Oh., son of the late Howard and Myrtle Warner. Employed as an Engineer at Peabody Galion. Member Richwood First United Methodist Church. Active with Boy Scout troops in Richwood. He was a woodworker. U.S. Navy Veteran serving on the USS New York in the South Pacific. 1944 graduate of Worthington High School. Graduated from Ohio Northern University with a degree in Engineering. Union County Historical Society, American Society of Engineers. On March 21, 1948 he married Elizabeth A. "Betty" Grove, who preceded him in death on June 22, 1980. Survived by a cousin, Art Warner, with whom he made his parttime home; and several other cousins. Visitation will be Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at BALLINGER FUNERAL HOME, Richwood, Oh., where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, February 11, 2001 with Rev. Joseph Rhea officiating. Burial Claibourne Cemetery. Contributions to Richwood First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, cards are available at funeral home.

YOUNG Robert E. Young, age 58, of Upper Arlington, died unexpectedly Tuesday, February 6, 2001 at his residence. He was a graduate of Upper Arlington High School, Class of 1960, where he served as Captain of the baseball team. He later attended The Ohio State University where he belonged to Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He was the former owner of the Evans & Schwartz Shoe Company located throughout Columbus. He also worked as a fundraiser for the United Way for several years. He was a former volunteer with the American Cancer Society and enjoyed golf and tennis. Robert is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Stephanie Young of Pickerington; and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2001 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave., Columbus. If desired, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Franklin County Unit, 900 Michigan Ave., Columbus, OH 43215 in his memory. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road.

BAKER Robert Lee Baker, 78, Wednesday, February 7, 2001 at the VAMC of Chillicothe. U.S. Army Veteran. Survived by sons, Robert, Phillip (Kim) and Freddie Baker, Joshua Huckleby; daughters, Rebecca Reese, Gerry Harris and Judy Cox; brothers, Curtis, Mitchell and Kenny (Jeri) Baker; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Service 11 a.m. Monday, Chapel of the WAYNE T. LEE FUNERAL SERVICE. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.

BARNES Corinne S. Barnes, 89, February 9, 2001 at Lutheran Village of Columbus, formerly of Grandview Heights. Retired school teacher at Franklin Heights High School. Widow of Walter E. "Jack" Barnes. Member of Boulevard Presbyterian Church, Eastern Star, Cliff-Heights Senior Center, Second and Summit Senior Center, Rockwell Retirees Club and active in the Golden Hobby Shop. Survived by sons, Gary (Shirley) Barnes and Thomas (Ann) Barnes, all of Columbus; daughter, Lana Dragon of Vienna, Va.; brothers, Carl A. Schultz of San Gabriel, Calif. and Frank (Dorothy) Schultz of Jackson, Mich.; sister, Doris (William) Vogt of Butler, Pa.; 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call at DEYO-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 1578 W. First Ave., Grandview Heights, Sunday 6-9 p.m., where service will be 10 a.m. Monday. Chaplain James Jensen officiating. BARR Julia Eleanora "Nellie" Barr, 80, of First Colonial Inn, Virginia Beach, Va., formerly of Baltimore, Md. and Columbus, Oh., passed away February 3, 2001 in Virginia Beach. Va. Mrs. Barr was born in Baltimore, Md. the daughter of the late Garnett and Eleanor Blackburn. She was the widow of Ronald R. "Ronnie" Barr. Nellie worked for Bell Telephone Co. both in Baltimore, Md. and Columbus, Oh. for over 28 years. She retired in 1981. In 1994 she moved to Virginia Beach to be closer to her daughter and granddaughters. Mrs. Barr was also preceded in death by her sister Catherine. Survivors include a daughter, Mary B. Finn of Virginia Beach; two granddaughters, Lucy A. Finn of Wilmington, N.C. and Molly E. Finn of Virginia Beach; two special friends, Jean and Joe Carson. A sincere thank you to all friends and co-workers for your support, thoughts, and prayers during this difficult time. A memorial service was conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2001 at H.D. OLIVER FUNERAL HOME, 2002 Laskin Rd., Virginia Beach, Va. by the Rev. Dr. Stanley Sawyer. Burial will be at a later date in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery. BAYS (ARMENTROUT) Brandon Joseph "Cooby-Doo" "Daddy's Mokey Bandon" Bays, age 2, earned his angel wings on Thursday, February 8, 2001. Preceded in death by grandfather Robert Franklin Bays I and great-grandparents Ellie Jean and David Kenneth Staats, Thomas Joseph and Florence McMillan, Jim Bays and Ruth Ferguson. Survived by parents, Wendy Jo and Brent Todd Bays; brothers, Ryan Michael Liston, Robert Bays, II, Brent Bays, Jr., Joseph Bays; sister, Misty Lee Bays; grandparents, Joe and Brenda Armentrout of Columbus and Katherine Elizabeth Bays of St. Augustine, Fla.; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and dear friends. BOERNER Margaret "Peggy" Ann Boerner, 70, of Pataskala, died Friday, February 9, 2001 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus. Preceded in death by brothers Reade, Harold, Walter and John Beaver; sisters Virginia Fulton, Mary Applegate; and daughter Cindy Sykes; and parents Robert and Florence (Beck) Beaver. Survived by husband, William A. Boerner of Pataskala; sons, James M. (Roxann) Sykes of Westerville and John Sykes of Columbus; daughter, Brenda Elliott of Columbus; seven grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, Brittany, Megan, Lauren, Emily and Joshua; sisters, Marie Hexter and Helen Doyle of Columbus and Ramona Siler of Maryland; many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2001 at the WARREN F. KAUBER FUNERAL HOME in Pataskala, where services will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2001 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Tim Waggoner officiating. Burial to follow in Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus.

BURGESS Maryellen K. Burgess, 89, died Thursday, February 8, 2001 at the Laurels of Norworth. Survived by children, Jim (Barb), Jerry (Violet), Mike (Barb), Darrell (Mary), Billy Joe, Linda (Sam) Kerswell and Rick (Treva) Nis; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Teresa Burgess; special friends, Mark (Lynn) Kilgore and Marty (Harry) Cook. Preceded in death by husband Andrew, step-sons Bobby and Randy Burgess, parents, siblings. Family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road. Graveside service and interment 1 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2001 at Kingwood Memorial Park.

CARROLL William M. Carroll, age 90, of Upper Arlington, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was the retired vice-president of White-Haines Optic Company. William was a member of the Varsity "O" Association, The OSU Alumni Association, The Sphinx Honor Society, Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, The Ohio State Board Opticiary for seven years, The Scioto Country Club, and the Old North High Club. While attending The Ohio State University, William was a letterman with the football team from 1929-1931. He was preceded in death by his wife Louise L. Lamb in 1980. William is survived by his sister, Elsa Jane Carroll of Chagrin Falls, OH; and a dear friend, Clara Rader; and many other close friends. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12Noon on Monday, February 12, 2001 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where a funeral service will be held at 12Noon on Monday. Private entombment will be at Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ohio State Athletic Dept., 113 Fawcett Center, 2400 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus, Oh. 43210 in his memory.

Carter Jack Carter, age 71, of Grove City, a loving husband, father and grandfather went to be with the Lord on February 10, 2001. Attended Grove City Church of the Nazarene. Production Engineer for Techneglas for the last 39 years and 10 years prior with RCA. Preceded in death by parents, Lee and Ruby Carter; sisters, Reverend Goldie Moore and Mona Thompson; brothers, Arnold and Frank Carter. Survived by wife of 48 1/2 years, Clarabelle (Rinehart) Carter; children, Deborah (Charles) Lemke of Hendersonville, Tenn.; Craig (Carol) Carter of Vero Beach, Fla.; Donna (Gordon) Wright; Cindy (Bradley) Malloy of Grove City and Jonathan Todd (Jaime) Carter of Hilliard; grandchildren, Chad and Kelly Sullivan, Cheri Sagona, Jason and Jerad Carter, Heather and Brooke Church, Nicholas and Christopher Wright, Kimberly and Christopher Malloy; Alyana and Mallory Carter; great-grandchildren, Lorin and Jordan Sagona; many nieces and nephews. (Lyndsey) Casey Jr., Paul L. (Rebecca) Casey; daughter-in-law, Harriet A. Casey; grandchildren, Shannon and Kelly Casey, Annette (Darrell) Doughty, Charles J. (Shawna) Casey II, Matthew Patrick Casey and Joseph Shafer; great-grandchildren, Darrell Joseph Doughty, Trevor Allen Doughty and Matthew Donald Casey.
