BAKER Adrian Lucille (Seesholtz) Baker, age 91, of Gahanna, entered her heavenly home on Sunday, February 11, 2001 at Kobacker House. She was a long-time member of Mifflin Presbyterian Church. For many years she joined with other ladies of the church in supporting the annual craft bazaar by supplying clever hand-crafted items and delicious pies that were always in demand. Her creative abilities were also showcased many times at the Ohio State Fair where she won blue ribbons and numerous "Best of Show" awards for her aprons, placemats, and other textile creations. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Preceded in death by husband of 61 years Walter R. Baker, parents Charles and Almeda (Landis) Seesholtz and brothers Ivan, Gerald, Meryl and Ernest Seesholtz. Survived by sons, Richard L. (Mavis) Baker and Harold W. (Jane) Baker, all of New Albany; one very dear granddaughter, Cheryl L. (Michael) Harrison of Columbus; a "one-in-a-million" great-grandson, Gabriel James Harrison of Columbus; one wonderful brother, Ramon (Cleo) Seesholtz of Lancaster; sisters-in-law, Alice Seesholtz of Georgia, Inez Lutz of Florida, Ruth VanFossen Seesholtz and Ruth Shonk Seesholtz, both of Lancaster; caring friend, Lyn Snider of Gahanna; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Kobacker House for their kindness and support during Adrian's brief stay. Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Tuesday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 East Johnstown Rd. (on Rt. 62, * mile east of Hamilton Rd.) Gahanna, where service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2001. BOTTS Mary Elizabeth Botts, age 95, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Saturday, February 10, 2001. Formerly of Westerville, Ohio. Active Social Director for Sugar Grove Square Apartments in Westerville. Survivied by son, Tom Botts of Tulsa, Okla.; 7 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville, Tuesday 7-8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 North State Street, Westerville. CALLAGHAN Alice A. Callaghan, age 74, died Saturday, February 10, 2001. Preceded in death by her husband William R. Callaghan and their son John J. Callaghan. Survived by her children, Rose (Harry) Curtis, Michael Callaghan, Kathie LePage and Kelly (Alicia) Callaghan; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Snouffer; sister-in-law, Bonnie Lee; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the O'SHAUGHNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 405 E. Town St., Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (The place and time of the Funeral Mass will be announced). Burial St. Joseph Cemetery. CARROLL William M. Carroll, age 90, of Upper Arlington, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was the retired vice-president of White-Haines Optic Company. William was a member of the Varsity "O" Association, The OSU Alumni Association, The Sphinx Honor Society, Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, The Ohio State Board Opticiary for seven years, The Scioto Country Club, and the Old North High Club. While attending The Ohio State University, William was a letterman with the football team from 1929-1931. He was preceded in death by his wife Louise L. Lamb in 1980. William is survived by his sister, Elsa Jane Carroll of Chagrin Falls, OH; and a dear friend, Clara Rader; and many other close friends. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12Noon on Monday, February 12, 2001 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where a funeral service will be held at 12Noon on Monday. Private entombment will be at Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ohio State Athletic Dept., 113 Fawcett Center, 2400 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus, Oh. 43210 in his memory.

Carter Jack Carter, age 71, of Grove City, a loving husband, father and grandfather went to be with the Lord on February 10, 2001. Attended Grove City Church of the Nazarene. Production Engineer for Techneglas for the last 39 years and 10 years prior with RCA. Preceded in death by parents, Lee and Ruby Carter; sisters, Reverend Goldie Moore and Mona Thompson; brothers, Arnold and Frank Carter. Survived by wife of 48 1/2 years, Clarabelle (Rinehart) Carter; children, Deborah (Charles) Lemke of Hendersonville, Tenn.; Craig (Carol) Carter of Vero Beach, Fla.; Donna (Gordon) Wright; Cindy (Bradley) Malloy of Grove City and Jonathan Todd (Jaime) Carter of Hilliard; grandchildren, Chad and Kelly Sullivan, Cheri Sagona, Jason and Jerad Carter, Heather and Brooke Church, Nicholas and Christopher Wright, Kimberly and Christopher Malloy, Alayna and Mallory Carter; great-grandchildren, Lorin and Jordan Sagona; many nieces and nephews. CASEY Virginia G. Casey, 85, February 10, 2001 at her home in Grandview Heights. Widow of Charles J. Casey Sr. Former employee of F.& R. Lazarus Co. Survived by sons, Charles J. CASS Louis H. "Lou" Cass, age 82, of Dublin, formerly of St. Louis, Mo., died suddenly Sunday, February 11, 2001, Riverside Methodist Hospital Emergency Room. Born January 22, 1919 in St. Louis, Mo. Senior Sales Manager for Norfolk & Western Railroad for over 30 years and was involved with the railroad system for over 45 years. Army First Lieutenant, WW II, 90th Division. Member Dublin Senior Citizens and Weybridge Association. Fifty-year member of St. Louis Masonic Temple and member of Aladdin Temple AAONMS of Columbus. He was a sports enthusiast and loved to watch his grandchildren play sports. Preceded in death by parents Louis and Stella (Ogle) Cass. Survived by wife of 52 years, Henrietta (Wallbrett) Cass; sons, Philip (Laura Weisel) Cass, Columbus, Robert (Nancy) Cass, Eden Prairie, Minn.; grandchildren, Sarah, Brandon, Justin, Rachel; step-grandchildren, Marisa Weisel, Joshua Weisel; first cousin, Philip H. CURTIS Marie (Crow/Medley) Curtis, age 83, of Pickerington, died Thursday, February 8, 2001, Pickerington Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born June 22, 1917 to Joseph W. and Forest Meighen Crow. Employee of Hamilton Beach. Preceded in death by husband James Curtis, parents, brother Joe Crow, sister Bonnie Potts and daughter Carol Medley. Survived by sons, Albert (Nan) Medley, Reidsville, N.C. and John Medley, Gahanna; grandchildren, Connie, Greg and Marty Joe, all of NC; great-grandchildren, Lillian (George) Richey, Senecaville, Oh., Ruth Huffman, Alderson, W.Va., Betty (Don) Chester, Pickerington and Wanda (Andy) Grywalsky, Reynoldsburg; several nieces and nephews. DAVIS Dorothy L. Davis, age 78, Wednesday, February 7, 2001. Survived by daughter, Nancy (Kenneth) Lambert; grandchildren, Kenneth (Stacey) Lambert and James Lambert; great-grandchildren, Lyndsey and Tyler Lambert. DILTHEY Jean Winifred Dilthey, age 76, of Whitehall, died Saturday, February 3, 2001 in Mt. Carmel East Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband Dale, mother Eleanor Amerine and sister Edith Congrove. She is survived by daughters, Jodie (Dave) Sfreddo of Columbus, Kathleen Cantwell of Columbus, Janet (Tim) Yamaguchi of San Lorenzo, Calif., Jean (John) Simonski of Columbus and Ruth Smith of Delaware; sister, Ruth Sanders of Savannah, Ga.; brother, Ivan Amerine of Upper Sandusky, Oh.; grandchildren, Charles Nichols, Gary Cantwell, Cindy Cantwell and Elizabeth Sfreddo; cousin, Bill Jordan; 4 great-grandhcildren; nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Former football player for OSU, under Woody Hayes. Member of VFW, DAV, American Legion and Varsity O. Survived by wife, Mary Bova/Ervin; daughter, Tonya Maria Ervin (chad Holt) and their daughter Madison Marie Holt; son, Nicholas Joseph Ervin; niece, Elizabeth Walker Green and husband Rodney Green; great-nephew, Zachary Green; parents, Evan and Sarah Martz Ervin; brothers, Mark (Pam) Ervin, Thomas (Nancy) Ervin; sister, Tina (John) Leonard; uncle, Fred Martz; close sister-in-law, Kay Bova and fiance Fred Ferguson; brother-in-law, Bill (Jeanette) Bova; many nieces, nephews and friends. EVANS Margaret Evans, 88, died Sunday, February 11, 2001. Member of Stratford St. Paul's U.M.C., Sunbury Western Riding Club, Delaware Riding Club and for many years was a poll worker for Delaware County Board of Elections. She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Fogle of Plain City; sons, Mel of Prospect, Dallas of Sunbury; brother, Hurleigh Rider; sister, Dorothy Patrick and four grandchildren. FARRELL Mia Marie Farrell, age 21 of Columbus, went to Heaven suddenly to be with the Lord on Friday, February 9, 2001 at Doctor's West Hospital. Graduate of Westland High School Class of 1997. Attended Otterbein College where she was a sister in the TEM sorority. Employee of the Heritage Golf Club. Preceded in death by grandma, JoAnn Farrell. Survived by parents, Keith and Regina Farrell; sisters, Jacqueline, Amy and Jessica Farrell; brother, Jacob Farrell all of Columbus; grandparents, Clifford and Dorothy Weate of Fla.; Jim Crandall of Hilliard. Also, survived by boyfriend, David Jenkins of Hilliard and her special pets, Yoder and Bailey; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
