GEASE David T. Gease, age 39, a longtime resident of Dublin, Oh., passed away Friday, February 9, 2001 at his residence in Newark, Oh. David is survived by his parents, David H. and Delores J. Gease of Dublin; sister, Diana L. (Thomas A.) Swincher; nieces, Tiffiny M. Hovatter and Brittiny J. Swincher; and beloved uncles, aunts, and many friends. David was a graduate of Dublin High School in 1980. He was a veteran with the U.S. Navy, and later worked as an electrician, and was a member of the IBEW Local #683. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, February 12, 2001 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2001. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice, in his name.

GEISER John J. Geiser, 62, Lancaster, died Sunday, February 11, 2001 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was retired from AT&T and a member of the AT&T Pioneers Club, Lancaster Masonic Lodge 57 F&AM and a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Starowesky Geiser; stepdaughter, Debbie (Michael II) Clifford, both of Lancaster; step-grandchildren, Lindsey, Nicholas, Andrea; sisters, Mary Lou Docter, Bexley, Joanne Swinehart, Culladen, W.Va., Marjorie McGraw, Lancaster, Charlotte Geiser, Pataskala; brothers, Paul (Lyn) Geiser, Gahanna, Henry (Linda) Geiser, Lancaster; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Belle Starowesky, Lancaster; brother-in-law, Richard (Cind) Starowesky, Fla. He is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Margaret Geiser. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME Chapel with Reverend Sam Halverson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Rose Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Fairfield Medical Center Oncology Department, Hospice of Fairfield County, Canine Companions for Independence, Fairfield County Unit of the American Cancer Society.

GROVE (MORRIS) Saundra "Sam" L. (Morris) Grove, age 51, of Dublin, Ohio, was taken from this life prematurely on February 9, 2001. She was born February 10, 1949 in Parkersburg, WV and spent her childhood in Lancaster, Ohio, graduating near the top of her high school class in 1967. In 1970, Sam graduated from White Cross (Riverside) Nursing School and soon began her career with Riverside Methodist Hospital. Not only was she a dedicated employee of the organization, she worked constantly to improve herself, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Ohio University in 1981 with her B.S.N. Sam held numerous positions during her 28 years with OhioHealth, most recently serving as the Director of Joint Commission Survey. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Timothy; her daughter, Erin; her son and daughter-in-law, James and Melissa; grandson, Max; aunt, Ms. Marie Morris of Parkersburg, WV; and mother-in-law, Ruth Grove, of Lancaster, OH. Her many friends and colleagues also mourn her passing. It is with love, respect, and great sadness that we submit this humble memorial to a woman whose life ended suddenly and tragically. Her family wishes that Saundra be remembered as a person of unquestionable integrity and devotion, though most of all, she should be remembered as a wife and mother who cared deeply for her family. Her personal sacrifices will never be forgotten by anyone who had the honor and privilege of her acquaintance. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, where the Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2001. A private interment will be held for the family at a later date. HESS John B. Hess, age 65, died February 10, 2001 at OSU East Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Hess and Thelma O'Rourke. He is survived by his wife, Lonnie; son, Tom of Pikeville, Ky.; daughter, Barbara of Denver, Colo.; granddaughter, Jennie of College Station, Tex.; and sister Beverly Lutz of North Port, Fla. Contributions may be made to St. Ann's Cancer Center. Memorial service to be held at a later date. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN CHAPEL, 229 E. State Street.

HILLYER Katherine Drake Hillyer, 87, died Friday, February 9, 2001. She is survived by son, Roy (Sarah) Michael Jr.,; daughters, Betsy A. (David) Fillhart and Connie Lynn Holmes; brother, William Retallick; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband Roy M. Hillyer. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road. Interment will be at Union Cemetery.

HOOK Frank Hook Jr., age 85, of Grove City, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2001. He was a retired tool and die maker with Superior Tool & Die. Frank is survived by his children, Douglas (Diane) Hook of Mich., Constance Hook of Hilliard, Joellyn (Richard) Sterr of Orient, Frank "Jack" (Cindy) Hook III and Dave (Becky) Hook, both of Grove City; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. No visitation. Private family service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to The Arthritis Foundation, Central Ohio Chapter, 3740 Ridge Mill Dr., Hilliard, OH 43026. KELLENBERGER Ruby L. Kellenberger, age 79, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 10, 2001. Preceded in death by husband Robert. She is survived by 2 sons, Terry Lee (Susan) Dawson of Columbus and Harold Allen of Indiana; granddaughter, Abbey Dawson of Columbus; brother, William Earl Barnes of Mississippi; nephew, Bing Goodail of Louisianna; dear friends, Jack and Thellis Sigler of Mississippi. Mary made her transition on Monday, January 22, 2001 in St. Petersburg, Fla. Mary was preceded in death by her father Clifford Peters and husband Willie James Morgan, Sr. of St. Petersburg, Fla. She is survived by mother, Dollours Mason and step-father, Matthew Mason; sisters, Betty Scruggs, Ilona Mason of Columbus, Oh., Gwen Kennedy of Cincinnati, Oh., Leila Smith of Detroit, Mich.; brothers, Alfred Peters of Cincinnati and Alexander Mason of Columbus, Oh., Sheree (Johnny) Frazier, Wanda (Allen) Zanders, Ruth (Sheppard) Clark and Yvette (Greg) Ervin, all of St. Petersburg, Fla.; sons, Willie Morgan, Jr., Darryl Morgan and David Morgan of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. MYERS Olive E. Myers, age 87, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2001 at Doctors Hospital North. She was a resident of Regency Manor. Retired from Merrill/McGraw Hill Publishing and Groveport Schools. Preceded in death by husband George. Loving mother of Rosemary Myers, Gary Myers and Jerry (Beverly) Myers; beloved grandmother of Quint, Timmy, Todd and Mindy; great-grandmother of Keegan, Olivia, Madison, Tony and Parker.
