PRICE Nothing with God can be accidential. For I know I was in His plans: Hazel J. Price, born January 13, 1908, age 93, of Columbus, peacefully passed away February 7, 2001. Our Lord called Hazel home suddenly and unexpectedly as she was traveling to dinner with relatives. Hazel was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church for 50 years. Preceded in death by husband Harold Price, sisters Viola Hadden, Ida Moore, Ethel Bolton, brothers Walter Moore and Kenneth Moore, nephews Nathaniel Hadden and Eugene Hadden. Survived by 2 loving sisters, Anna Jackson, 103 years, of Los Angeles, Calif. and Fannie Gwynn, 101 years, of Columbus, Oh.; nieces, Gertrude Hampton and Sadie M. Richardson; nephew, James Hadden; loyal friends, Donald and Carolyn Stinson, Mozel Giles; many loving relatives and friends. Funeral 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2001 at the chapel of C.D. WHITE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1217 Mt. Vernon Ave. Rev. Richard Dunbar and Rev. Dr. Ervin Smith, Officiants. The family will receive friends from 12noon until the time of service. Come and rejoice This is the day the Lord has made. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.

PURSELL Gretchen F. Pursell, 96, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2001 at Rockmill Rehabilitation Centre. She is survived by Theodore, Jane Ann, Reverend Jack, Richard, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster with Dr. Sherwood Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Forest Rose Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

SCHULZE Robert "Bob" Schulze, Jr., age 52, Friday, February 9, 2001 at Mt. Carmel West. Former employee of Dick's Cold Storage. Preceded in death by parents Robert, Sr. and Jacqueline Schulze, and sister Billie Weiner. Survived by wife of 31 years, Judy (Frazee) Schulze; sons, Brian and Tim (Kora) Schulze; grandson, Cameron Schulze; brother, Jim Schulze; sister, Candy Smith; brother-in-law, Larry (Linda) Frazee; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. Funeral service 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, at SCHOEDINER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., where friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday. Rev. Larry Baker officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery. SHAFFER C. Scott Shaffer, age 31, of Columbus, died unexpectedly Saturday, February 10, 2001 at his residence. Arrangements to be announced by SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road.

SILER Thomas R. Siler, age 32, February 9, 2001, Doctor's Hospital West. Employed as a Pepsi Merchandiser. Avid fisherman, hunter and dog lover. Preceded in death by sister Ann Siler. Survived by wife, Melissa; sons, Joseph Siler and Jonathan McCray; mother, Magdalene; father, Thomas; sisters, Sara (David) Bonnie, Julie (Randy) Prater and Jennifer (Philip) Brickman; nieces and nephews, David, Dylan, Filesha, Aleah, Gregory, Benjamin, John, Michael, Alex and Brittany. SMITH Dorothy Jean Smith, 64, of West Jefferson passed away Saturday, February 10, 2001 in Grant Medical Center, Columbus. She was born on March 3, 1936 in London to the late Thomas J. and Edith (Keifer) McGuire. Dorothy was a member of Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church, West Jefferson and worked for the Village of West Jefferson Police Department and Water Department. She is survived by two daughters, Kelly (Michael) Scott of Galloway, Kerry (Steve) Cilli of West Jefferson; a son, Patrick (Karen) Smith of West Jefferson; five grandchildren, Cortney, Brittney, Bethany, Emily and Kimberly; four sisters, Katherine Walke, Patricia Chambers, Mary Coates and Judi Killebrew; four brothers, Pete, Dick, Bill and Dave McGuire. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Smith, parents, two sisters Ruth Ann O'Neill, Margie Fisher, two brothers Raymond and Joseph McGuire. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2001 in Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church, West Jefferson with Deacon Ralph Parsons II officiating. Burial will follow the Mass in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, West Jefferson. Family and friends may call 5-8 p.m. Tuesday in RADER-McDONALD FUNERAL HOME, West Jefferson.

STEWART Elizabeth M. Stewart, age 94, a life long resident of Worthington, died Saturday, January 27, 2001 at Wesley Glen Retirement Center. Preceded in death by her husband Creston E. Stewart, Sr. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Creston E. "Kix" Stewart and Dinah Adkins Stewart of Athens. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 13 at 10:30 a.m. at Wesley Glen Retirement Center at 5155 N. High St., Columbus, Oh. 43214.

TURNER Larry Herman Turner, age 58, was called home on Saturday, February 10, 2001 at his residence in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born on April 6, 1942 in Circleville, Ohio was a graduate of Circleville High School. He attended Bethel A.M.E. Church in Frankfort, Ohio where he was a member for over 20 years. He was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps as a Corporal (E-4) on June 28, 1968, obtaining medals for Armed Forces Expeditionary, Good Conduct and National Defense Service. He also received two Sharpshooter Badges for the rifle and pistol. Mr. Turner was a welder at Kenworth Truck Company for many years and retired from Kenworth in 1995. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Mary and Joseph Guess, uncles Andrew Turner and James Turner, aunt Martha Turner and grandparents Herman and Naomi Turner. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Judy; one son, Garin Veris of Mountain View, Calf.; three daughters, Jessica Spady of Los Angeles, Calf., Shawna Turner of Columbus, Oh. and Gina Turner of Columbus, Oh.; three brothers, Mike Turner of Delaware, Oh., Thomas Fletcher of Circleville, Oh. and Howard Fletcher of Circleville, Oh.; four sisters, Jackie Saunders of Columbus, Oh., Kassie Henry of Circleville, Oh., Cheri Patterson of Circleville, Oh., Linda Fletcher of Bainbridge, Oh.; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2001 at 12noon at the Bethel A.M.E. Church, Ccorner of Walnut and Anderson Street, Frankfort, Oh. with Reverend Acy officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at HALLER FUNERAL HOME, Chillicothe, Oh. and 1 hour prior to the funeral at the church. UNDERWOOD Daniel E. "Dan" Underwood, age 56, of Columbus, died unexpectedly Friday, February 9, 2001. He was a computer educator. Survived by his wife, Mary Pat Helbig; children, Crista Underwood and her partner, Sam Schardt, Columbus, Greg Underwood, Las Vegas, NV and Rachel Underwood, Cancun, Mexico; father and his wife, Ted and Jeanne Underwood, Kennesaw, GA; sisters, Mary Underwood, Kent, OH and Kate (Bob) Becker, Atwater, OH; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother Colleen Underwood and sister Alice Ann Underwood. Dan received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Master's in Education from The Ohio State University. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2001 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, where a private Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 13. WEBB Neal E. Webb, age 63, Saturday, February 10, 2001 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Preceded in death by father Grover T. Webb. Survived by mother, Verna E. Webb of Columbus; son, Brian (Deborah) Webb of Reynoldsburg; sisters, Mrs. Janet E. Russell of Murrysville, Pa. and Mrs. Carolyn A. Flavin of Defiance, Oh.; three grandchildren, Chelsea, Blake and Luke Webb. 1955 graduate of West High School, Master Counselor of DeMolay, Chevilier, Red Coat at the Ohio State University for 24 years, member Glenwood United Methodist Church. WEISENBACH Marjorie J. Weisenbach, 82, February 10, 2001 at her home. Member of Norwester Women's Club and the 1918 Club. Preceded in death by husband of 53 years Victor J. Weisenbach and brother Kenneth Neal. Survived by son, Mark J. (Joanie) Weisenbach, Coppell, Tex.; daughter, Victoria (Frederick) Ball, Columbus; grandchildren, Kathy and Christine Ball, Emily and Matthew Weisenbach; many dear friends. WESSEL William W. Wessel, age 75, of Arlington, Tex. and formerly of Columbus, Oh., died Sunday, February 11, 2001 at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, Tex. Arrangements to be announced by SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd.

WEST Geraldine West, age 76, February 8, 2001 at the residence. Preceded in death by parents Ernest and Ethel Ward West, sisters Ernistine Cummings, Helen Warner, brother Leonard West. Survived by sister, Juanita West; nieces, Denise (Michael) Williams, Sharon (Calvin) Clark, Debbie (Robert) McClure, Stephanie West and Katheryn (John) Summerall; nephews, Marcus Hodge, Tariq M. Abdelhadi; many other relatives and friends including special friend, Johnny Jackson. Graveside services 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2001, Evergreen Cemetery. Reverend Weyman Dozier officiating. ANASCAVAGE Marlene Mae Anascavage, 67, of Columbus, left to be with the Lord on February 9, 2001. She was a veteran of the U.S. Marin Corps. A former Avon representative and a former delivery agent for the "Columbus Dispatch". She will be fondly remembered for her wit and humor on CB Channel 28 and by many friends worldwide with the Village Elders on the Internet. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Joseph; son, Michael of Columbus; daughter, Toni of Seattle, Wash.;. daughter and a "Little Helper", Deidree Diane (DeeDee) at home. She is also survived by a sister, Sharon (Mrs. Gene Amorelli) of Port Ewen, N.Y.; niece, Lizbeth (Mrs. Daren Rylewicz) of Albany, N.Y.; brother-in-law, Anthony (Elizabeth) Anascavage of Okeechobee, Fla.; special friend, Lorraine Pastore of Columbus. She asked for only a private service with her family.
