MORINE Margaret Louise Morine, age 73, of Columbus, died Monday, February 12, 2001 in Grant Riverside Medical Center. She was a retired district manager for White Castle Corp. She was preceded in death by her parents Dannie and Maggie Strong and by a brother Harvey Strong. She is survived by son, Ronnie L. Nixon of the residence; grandson, Ryan L. Nixon of Newark, Oh.; granddaughters, Maria (Rick) Huff of Powell, Oh., Tammy (Mike) Holland of Columbus, Jessica Nixon of Westerville, Oh., Ronda Nixon of Washington C.H., Oh.; 5 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Patricia Strong of Virginia Beach, Va. Friends may call WOODYARD EAST CHAPEL, 2300 E. Livingston Ave., Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday. Interment in Asbury Cemetery. McKELVEY Samuel Ryan McKelvey, infant, of Westerville, Thursday, January 18, 2001 at Riverside Hospital. Preceded in death by grandfathers Thomas Robert McKelvey and Charles F. Veach. Survived by loving parents, Matt and Becky of Westerville; grandmothers, Rita Ann McKelvey and Thelma L. Veach; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2001 at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Rd., Westerville. Dr. Richard Ellsworth officiating. Private interment.

NORMAN Marguerite M. Norman, 76, of Springfield, died at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2001 in Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Springfield on March 11, 1924, the daughter of the late Ira and Margaret (Burke) Ross. She was a 1942 graduate of Catholic Central High School and was a WW II U.S. Navy Veteran. She was President of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia Council # 207 at St. Teresa Catholic Church for 3 years. President of the Springfield Detachment of the Marine Corps League Auxiliary for 3 years. A member of the Springfield Detachment 963 of the Marine Corps League, a Past Commander and life member of American Legion Post 362, where she was serving a term as Sergeant-At-Arms, a life member of Amvets Post 25, Second Vice-Commander of the Clark County Veterans Council. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, William E. Norman; 6 children, Margaret (Robert) Tipple of Columbus, Oh., Patti Kay Norman of Federal Way, Wash., Billie Norman (Beverly Thames) of Redwood City, Calif., Mary Kay Weller of Lima, Oh., Rosemary (Brian) Hulej of Burlington, Ky. and William R. (Tammy) Norman of Dayton; grandson, Jason (Jenny) Tipple of Troy; 3 granddaughters, Allison, Amanda and Kelsey Weller of Lima; a niece, Maureen (John) Kennedy of Springfield; special friend, the Rev. Kay M. Glaesner of Springfield. Marguerite was the last of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers John R. Ross, Ira Frank Ross, William H. Ross and Edward D. Ross and 2 sisters Irene Ulliman and Elizabeth Ross. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at CONROY FUNERAL HOME, where a wake service will be held at 4 p.m. with Fr. Alfred Powers, Associate Pastor of St. Teresa Church, officiating. A funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Teresa Church with burial to follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.

PFAU Jessica Maxine Gardner Pfau, longtime resident of Columbus, died February 13, 2001 in West Palm Beach, Fla. following an extended illness. Born March 29, 1909 in West Liberty, Ky. She taught school in Mansfield and Shelby, Oh. and was a member of the Eastern Star and Cook Road Baptist Church, Mansfield. Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Edward Pfau and daughter Ina Donaldson. She is survived by 4 children, Bettye Pfau and Edward (Loeta) Pfau of West Palm Beach, Fla., Carolyn Sellers and June Breen of Columbus, Oh.; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held in West Palm Beach after which she will be returned to Mansfield for funeral service on Saturday, February 17 at 1 p.m. with visitation 11 a.m.-12noon. at WAPPNER FUNERAL HOME, Ontario, Oh. Interment Mansfield Memorial Park.

POWER Charles E. Power, age 81, of Dayton, died Wednesday, February 14, 2001. Survived by his loving wife, Susanna, of 27 years. Also loving cousins who were like brothers and sisters, Bashford Power and wife, Doris of Calif., Lelia Funk and husband, Emmons, and Lola Giles, all of Willard, Oh., Naomi Wasson and husband, Chuck of Frezeysburg, Oh., William Power and wife, Caroline of Columbus, Oh.; sister-in-law, Helen Willson and husband, Beriah; sisters-in-law, Marion and Millicent Houck, all of N.Y.; as well as 17 loving nieces and nephews throughout the USA. Charles, known both as Chuck and Charlie, was born in Alfred, Oh. He graduated from The Ohio State University with both Bachelor and Masters degrees. He retired in 1977 after 35 years in the teaching profession, with 27 years spent in the Kettering School System in the area of Industrial Arts and Vocational Education. A Purple Heart veteran of WW II, he had 28 years of active and reserve duty. He retired in 1970 as Lt. Col. of Field Artillery. He served with the First Infantry Division in 3 beachhead landings in North Africa, Sicily, and Omaha Beach. Active member of Hope United Methodist Church where he served on various committees, such as Men of Hope, Joyful Seekers, Pastor Parish Committee and Faith Builders Sunday School. He was past President of Kettering Classroom Teachers Association and a member of the Keenagers of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Funeral service will be held at Hope United Methodist Church, 5980 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2001. Viewing at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 81 N. Main St., Centerville, OH. from 4-8 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2001 with prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Burial at David's Cemetery. Conributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, Hope United Methodist Church Building Fund or St. Francis of Assisi Building Fund. We request that you wear bright colors to celebrate Charlie's life.

PRICE Anna Monalite Price, age 90, of Westerville, Monday, February 12, 2001 in Houston, TX. Member of Westerville Church of the Nazarene. Preceded in death by husband John W. and 7 brothers and sisters. Survived by children, Sara (David) Shaw of Humble, TX, John (Becky) Price of Westerville, Carole (James) Counsil of Humble, TX, James Price of Westerville; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandsons; 2 great-granddaughters; numerous nieces and nephews. ROBBINS Mary A. Robbins, age 70, lifelong resident of Columbus, died Tuesday, February 13, 2001 in Mt. Carmel East Hospital. She was a retired legal secretary and had attended Livingston Avenue United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Robert L. Robbins; sister-in-law, Patricia Robbins. Friends may call WOODYARD EAST CHAPEL, 2300 E. Livingston Ave., Friday 7-9 p.m., where service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday. A private commital service will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.

SCHNEIBLE Mary Lourdes (Smith) Schneible, passed away on February 13, 2001 in McKinney, TX. Born September 21, 1916 in Utica, New York. Preceded in death by her husband Stuart C. Schneible and sister Patsy Smith Jones. Prior to moving to Texas in 1995, Mary was a resident of Columbus, Oh., where she was a Realtor for more than 35 years. Mary is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Myles and Cindy Schneible of McKinney, Tex.; brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Marion Smith of Whitesboro, N.Y.; nieces, Mary Lourdes Tornblom, Colleen Schumacher, Terry Knight, Sally O'Callahan, Laurie Wasserstein; nephews, Tom Jones and Ben Smith; many great-nieces and nephews. SCHWAN Thomas J. Schwan, age 88, Wednesday at home. Lifetime member of St. Christopher Catholic Parish. Member of Knights of Columbus. Charter member of Scioto Boat Club. Former member of Hilltop Business Association. Founded in 1931 Schwan Motors, in 1959 founder of Tom & Jerry Auto Service. Preceded in death by wife Eileen Schwan. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jerry (Nancy) Schwan; grandchildren, Scott and Mark Schwan, Teresa Schwan; step-grandchildren, Michael (Karen) Ruzicka, Susan (Rico) Sullivan, Teresa (Goddaughter) Ruzicka; great-grandchildren, Charmaine Schwan, Joshua Lynch, Amanda Gonzalos and Ebony Sullivan; great-great-grandson, Antonio Latorre; brother and sister-in-law, William (Janet) Schwan; sister and brother-in-law, Audrey (Larry) Henry; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Rhoads; many nieces and nephews. SCHWARTZKOPF Tillie F. Schwartzkopf, age 94, of Marysville, formerly of Columbus, died Tuesday, February 13, 2001 at Heartland of Marysville Nursing Center surrounded by her family and friends. A lifelong homemaker, Tillie was a 65 year member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Columbus where she was active in the Ladies Aid and other church activities. She was born May 12, 1906 in Marysville to the late Lewis J. and Dorathea (Rausch) Rausch. She is preceded in death by 2 sisters Martha Bunsold and Nora Dellinger, 3 brothers Willis Rausch, Gerhardt Rausch and Ezra Rausch, son-in-law Richard Graupner. She was married to Elmer J. Schwartzkopf on May 21, 1926 in Chicago by her brother-in-law, Rev. Lewis J. Schwartzkopf, and her husband Elmer died January 31, 1985. She is survived by 2 sons, Lewis (Maria) Schwartzkopf, Findlay and Donald W. (Jean) Swartz, Honor, Mich.; daughter, Lillian D. Graupner, Plymouth, Minn.; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Christine (He rb) Vollrath, Marysville; sister-in-law, Christine Rausch, Marysville; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held Friday, February 16, 2001 11:30 a.m. at the MANNASMITH-HALE FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Peter Reetz of the Zion Lutheran Church, officiating. SOLT Helen M. Solt, age 78, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2001. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years Paul Brice Solt, parents Elsie and Andrew Green, son-in-law John Allen. SPENCER Wallace Glendon "Glen" Spencer, born December 5, 1920, left this earth to be with his Lord on February 13, 2001. Glen proudly served his country in the Coast Guard in the South Pacific Operations during WW II. He was preceded in death by parents Ora and Lulu Spencer, his brother Lester and sister Leta. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Ann; his children, Linda (Keith) Eaton, Larry Spencer, Steve (Marsha) Spencer and Lois (Tom) Honaker; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his sister, Naomi Fulton; and good family friend, Madge Hiles.
