DRUE Thomas Paul Drue, age 74, of Hilliard, Oh., died February 16, 2001 at 3:22 p.m., Columbus, Oh. He was a member of the Hilliard Moose Lodge #2236. Survived by 1 son; 1 daughter; 4 grandchildren. No calling hours or service will be observed. HILLIS FUNERAL HOME, Zanesville, Oh., in charge of arrangements.

DeLAY Harry J. DeLay Jr., 65, died Friday, February 16, 2001 at St. Ann's Hospital. He is survived by loving wife, Barbara; sons, H. Michael (Linda) DeLay and Mark J. (Becky) DeLay; daughter, Kathi L. (Dennis) Manning; grandchildren, Michael DeLay, Joseph DeLay, Brian DeLay, Chelsea DeLay and Kortney Manning; mother, Ada (Snyder) DeLay; sister, Patricia Linn; nieces and nephews; many friends and loved ones. He is preceded in death by father Harry J. DeLay Sr. and granddaughter Jacklyn DeLay. Family will receive friends Tuesday, February 20, 2001 from 6-8 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where the service will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2001. Larry Wickliff officiating. Entombment Kingwood Memorial Park.

FISCHER Herbert P. Fischer, 76, of Dublin, Oh., February 18, 2001 at home. Preceded in death by brother William Fischer and sister Jean Messmer. Survived by wife of 31 years, Carole J., Dublin; children, Deborah (Cliff) Miller, Dublin, Michael Fischer, Columbus, Jeffrey (Cindy) Fischer, Worthington, Cynthia (Jim) Lamphear-Hughes, Newark, Oh., Scott Parker, Calif.; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Robert Fischer, Columbus, Ted (Mary) Fischer, Delaware; sisters, Ruth Ann (George) Herderick, Columbus, Mary Lou Geiger, Centerburg, Oh. and Fran Yazloff, Buena Park, Calif.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Other than his family, he loved golf and his dog Ladybug. Veteran WW II, U.S. Navy. Services will be private. GAMMELL Melvin E. Gammell, of Reynoldsburg, was born October 18, 1921, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2001. He was retired from Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 189, member of VFW, was an MP during WWII with the U.S. Air Force. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Gammell; brother Earl; sisters Rucille and Almeda; and an infant son. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Kendra Gammell; daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Steve Nole; grandchildren, Matthew, Allison and Elizabeth Nole, Scott and Austin Gammell; brother, Dave Gammell; and numerous nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where his service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment Plumwood Cemetery.

GIBSON Charles Henry Gibson, age 88, Marengo, died Saturday, February 17, 2001. He was born July 30, 1912 in Lawrence County, Oh., the son of Robert and Lillian Riel Gibson. He was a 30 year employee of Jeffries Manufacturing as a Tool & Die Maker. He also served in the U.S. Army during WW II with Eisenhower during the invasion of Normandy. Following retirement in 1978, he moved to Marengo from Columbus. His first wife Velda Berry Gibson preceded him in death in 1984. His second wife Dora Snyder preceded him in death on August 23, 1988. His 2 sisters Avis Whaley of Ceredo, W.Va. and Grace Powers of Etna, Oh.; his brother, Raymond Gibson; and many nieces and nephews including Vernon Gibson who he raised like a son survive him. Friends may call Wednesday, February 21, 2001 at the SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 76 S. Main St., Mt. Gilead, from 6-8 p.m. Graveside Funeral Service Thursday 11 a.m., Maple Grove Cemetery, Chesterville.

GRUBER Jennifer Tae Hui Gruber, age 14, February 16, 2001 in Germany. Preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth (Kwang Hui) Gruber in 1987. Survived by her parents, Capt. Mark and wife, Felicia Gruber, U.S.A.F., Germany; sister, Samantha Gruber; grandparents, Patricia Gruber of Pataskala and In Mook and Sun Chun of Pa.; aunts, Cheryl Gruber, Pam Kaplinsky and Judy O'Connor; uncles, Robert Kaplinski, Ed Chun and John McCullough; cousin, Lara Kaplinsky. Funeral service 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2001 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHPAEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Mr. Joseph W. GUTRIDGE A Mass of Christian Burial for Helen M. Gutridge, 87, of Heath, Oh., will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2001 at St. Leonard Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Reis officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Newark, Oh. Mrs. Gutridge died at the Heath Nursing Home on Saturday, February 17, 2001. She was born in Cincinnati, Oh. on May 9, 1913 to the late Henry J. and Anna (Johnson) Helmer. Helen was retired from the Fred Gutridge Veterinary Hospital in Heath, where she was a veterinary assistant. She was a member of St. Leonard Catholic Church, the Heath Lioness Club, the Heath Lions Club, the Altar Rosary Society, the Licking County Farm Bureau and was a former adult leader of the Boy Scouts. Helen is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dr. Frederick "Fred" Gutridge, D.V.M. of Heath; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Moira Gutridge of Columbus; 2 sisters and 1 brother-in-law, Mildred Kelley of Milwaukee, Wis. and Anna May and Edward McHale of Cincinnati, Oh.; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by 2 sisters Ruth Linder and Dorothy Fetter and 1 brother Robert Helmer. Friends and family may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2001 at REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Dr., Newark, Oh., where the Heath Lions will hold a Memorial Service at 8 p.m. and a vigil service will be held at 8:30 p.m. The family requests memorials to the Licking County Humane Society.

HINGST William Howard Hingst, age 91, passed away Sunday at his daughter's home. Former member Christ Lutheran Church. Former musician having played in several area bands. Survived by daughter, Joyce Lehman of Pickerington; grandsons, Dean (Donita) Lehman of Pickerington and Kent (Joy) Lehman of Canal Winchester. Preceded in death by wife Estelle Mae Hingst and brother Elber Hingst. Funeral service Wednesday 12noon, EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Ave., where friends may call 1 hour prior to service. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice.

HOLSCHUH Edward E. Holschuh, age 79, of Peoria, Ariz., died February 15, 2001. Retired Insurance Consultant. He was currently serving as President of the Board of Directors for Americans for Financial Security. His brother is the Honorable Judge John David Holschuh. There will be no visitation. Memorial service 10 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2001 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, Sun City, Ariz. Arrangements by MENKE FUNERAL HOME, Sun City, Ariz.

Jackson Gladys Jackson, 87, of Baltimore, Oh. and formerly of Bentonville, Oh., died Sunday, February 18, 2001 at the Rockmill Rehabilitation Centre at Lancaster, Oh. Ms. Jackson was born August 3, 1913 at Bentonville and was the daughter of the late Roy and Katie (Lloyd) Jackson.
Surviving are 1 sister, Aileene Wikoff of Baltimore; 2 nieces, Karleen Tope of Baltimore and Sharon Anderson of Columbus, Oh.; 1 nephew, Edward Wikoff of Carroll, Oh. Ms. Jackson was a former Practical Nurse with the former Sonkin Medical Office and Lafferty Medical Clinic, both of West Union, Oh. She was a 50 year plus member of the former Bentonville Grange and former member of the Bentonville Methodist Church.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 21 at the LAFFERTY FUNERAL HOME, West Union, Oh. Rev. Thomas Knauff will officiate. The interment will be at the Kirker Cemetery near Bentonville, Oh. The visitation will be held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

LITTLE Pauline Little, age 77, passed away February 19, 2001. A member of New Beginnings Assembly of God, Women Ministries Missionettes. Former employee of Federal Glass for over 10 years. Preceded in death by parents Obie and Mayme Morris; sisters Virginia Pennington, Mary Steele, Ilene Huffman, Mildred Morris, Nellie Mefford, and Mary Morris. Survived by her husband of 49 years, Samuel; son, Charles G. (Susan) Pennington of Proctorville; grandchildren, Vance and Matthew Pennington, both of Shawnee, Okla.; great-grandson, Charles D. Pennington; sister, Ruth Hanes of Wheelersburg; several nieces, nephews, and close friends. Friends may call at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St., Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where service will be held Thursday 11 a.m. Rev. Sam Kirk officiating. Interment Obetz Cemetery. Family suggests contributions be directed to New Beginnings Assembly of God in her memory.

MALTOS Ricardo Maltos, age 62, of Westerville, passed away February 17, 2001 at St. Ann's Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents Luis and Ora Maltos, infant brother Andres and sister Lucy Hernandez.
He is survived by his loving wife, Helen; daughters, Delane Maltos of Canton, Ga., Elyssa Dalton of Fla.; son, Jonathan David Maltos and wife, Noreen; sisters, Dolores (Ralph) Reyna, Janie (Robert) Huizar of San Antonio, Tex.; brothers, Louis (Audrey) Maltos of Shawnee, Okla. and Edward Maltos of Savannah, Ga. Also survived by sister-in-law, Mary and brother-in-law, Dale Shade of Grove City; dear friends, Tony and Sandy Capoccio, Joe and Jeri Capoccio and their families; also 3 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Ricardo is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a graduate of The Ohio State University and retired from Newark Air Force Base. Visitation will be Tuesday and Wednesday 7-9 p.m. Funeral service Thursday 2:30 p.m. at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville, Oh.
Interment Blendon Central Cemetery following service.
