Survived by husband, Eugene; sons, James Isaacs and Dean Mullins; daughters, Rebecca (James) Alvarez, Loretta, Carol, Denisa and Wilma Chaffin, Teresa (Claude) Prince, Virginia "Skip" (Brian) Peterson; sisters, Virginia (George) Carter, Mary Ann (James) Duty, Margaret (Kenny) Cordell, Jeannie (Harold) Tyler; grandchildren, April, Sara, Henry, Brandon, Joseph, Justin, Elijah, Nicholas, Christopher and one on the way; many nieces and nephews. McCAGE Mrs. Louise J. Buttrum McCage, passed Saturday, February 17, 2001. Preceded in death by husband Lewis McCage and daughter Marva Buttrum. Survived by daughter, Evangelist Queenetta Ingram; son, Victor (Shirley) Buttrum, Jr.; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; many relatives and numerous friends. Funeral service Wednesday 11 a.m., St. Augustus Catholic Church, 1550 E. Hudson Ave. Mrs. McCage will lie in state after 9:30 a.m. in the church, where the family will receive friends 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estates. McCLANAHAN Dr. Bert McClanahan, age 87, Monday at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Attended Hiram College and graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, Class of 1948, having received the Callahan Award for being first in his class. Member of Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity. He practiced dentistry for 48‡ years in Clintonville. Mr. McClanahan was a member of the Columbus Dental Society, the Ohio State Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He was also a member of Civitan of North Columbus. He is preceded in death by his first wife Anne, grandson Scott M. Gillespie, sister Besse M. Sproull. He is survived by his wife, Sue; daughter, Dr. Carol Gillespie; grandson, Michael Gillespie; brother, James (Beulah) McClanahan; sister-in-law, Janet (David) Martin; father-in-law, David Herbert, both of Dresden, Oh.; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 4476 N. High St. (2 blocks north of Henderson Rd.), 268-8811. PARSONS LeRoy Parsons, age 93, of Columbus, died Sunday, February 18, 2001 at Lutheran Village. Preceded in death by brother Willis B. Parsons. Survived by wife, Edna, of 64 years; son, David A. (Martha) Parsons of Bexley; daughter, Jeanne P. (William) Cox of Cincinnati; grandsons, Todd W. Cox and Richard R. Parsons; sister-in-law, Frances Young; niece, Donna Thrush; and nephews, Ronald C. and Larry E. Parsons. Graduate of The Ohio State University and member of the Alumni Association. Served as a Captain in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Former National Traveling Secretary of Delta Upsilon Fraternity, former Executive Vice President of Ohio Association of Realtors and Past President of Ohio Trade Association Executives. Former member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Memorial service 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, at SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN CHAPEL, 229 E. State St. Chaplain James K. Jensen and Rev. Linda J. Hedden officiating. Private entombment at Green Lawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10-10:30 a.m. on Wednesday and following the service. Family requests contributions be sent to Lutheran Social Services, 750 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43205 in his memory.

PATTERSON Barbara A. Patterson, age 67, of Columbus, February 18, 2001 at Columbus Community Hospital. Member of Walnut Hill United Methodist Church. Retired after 30 years as a Contract Specialist at Rickenbacker and DFAS. Preceded in death by husband Robert Patterson and sister Joyce Jeffers. Survived by daughters, Debra Patterson and her husband, Keith Murnane of Chicago, and Dona Patterson and Jeff Shoults of Circleville, Oh.; son, Marvin Patterson and his wife, Linda of Columbus; and granddaughter, Colleen Murnane. Family will receive friends Tuesday 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at GRAUMLICH & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St. Pastor Thomas Knauff officiating. Interment Walnut Hill Cemetery.

PUGH Lona W. Pugh, age 94, passed away at Wesley Glen on Monday, February 19, 2001. A elementary teacher for many years in Hilliard. Member of Summit United Methodist Church. Lona was a caregiver to all her family, from her late aunt Dr. Jessie Jasper, mother Augusta Willis to her brother Rom Lewis and sisters Elma and Ruby Taylor. She loved the OSU area where she lived and operated a boarding home for many students. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joel and Kathy Pugh; devoted sisters, Vernice Cordell and Marzee Willis; grandchildren, Kevin Pugh of Columbus and Terri Conn of Cincinnati, Oh.; great-grandchildren, Zachery Pugh and Bradley Conn. The family has requested a private chapel service to be held Wednesday at Union Cemetery. Rev. Mary Holm officiating. Arrangements by O.R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 255 E. State St. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be directed to either Wesley Glen Retirement Home or the American Cancer Society, in her memory.

RANK Henriette Rank, 86, of Columbus, Oh., died Sunday, February 18, 2001 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her husband Heinz Rank. She is survived by her daughters, Ursula McCarville of Columbus, Oh. and Lydia Rank Pond of Raleigh, N.C.; grandsons, Mark Hooker, Steve (Mary Anne) Hooker, Sterling (Sheri) Hooker, all of Raleigh, N.C. and Michael McCarville, Robert (Linda) McCarville, Charles (Julie) McCarville of Columbus, Oh.; as well as granddaughter, Mary McCarville. She was surrounded in love by her 9 great-grandchildren; and many close friends. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Riverside and Grant, 3535 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus, Oh. 43214 in her memory.

REES Ronald P. Rees, age 66, of Gahanna, died Saturday, February 17, 2001 at OSU Hospital East. Retired Data Supervisor with Ameritech after 32 years of service. Member of Stonybrook United Methodist Church. Also member of Pioneers of America, Linden Lodge #637 F&AM, Aladdin Temple Shrine and Scottish Rite. Preceded in death by parents Paul L. and Elsie V. Rees, son Michael Rees, sister Ivadell Rees, brother-in-law Ronald Hardin. Survived by wife of 48 years, Colleen; son, Craig (Julie) Rees of Reynoldsburg; grandchildren, Mitchell, Matthew and Marc; brother, Harold (Doreen) Rees; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mike and Sally Hardin of Blacklick, Gary and Gretchen Hardin of Gahanna; sister-in-law, Sally Hardin of Logan; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. ROBINSON Ruby Robinson, age 93, formerly of Westerville, Sunday, February 18, 2001 at Heartland of Centerburg. Preceded in death by husband Allen and daughters Lena, Lucy and Ruth. Survived by children, Irene (Lester) Eddleblute, Carl (Janella) Robinson and Toni (Jerry) Whitaker; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. RYAN Alberta M. Ryan, age 80, Monday, February 19, 2001 at Doctors Hospital West. Now at peace with God. Retired from General Motors after 35 years of service. Member of UAW Local #969. Contributed to many combined charities. Preceded in death by husband Edward F. Ryan, son William E Ryan, mother and step-father Irene (Wolfe) and David Hess, father Walter Stutton, brother Richard Stutton and sisters Anita (Hess) Fissel and Evelyn Ryan. Survived by friend and companion, Viola Stilson; grandchildren, William E. (Kim) Ryan, Jr. and Christina (Kent Collins) Ryan; daughter-in-law, Jeanette Ryan; brothers, Robert (Flo) Stutton, David (Phyllis) Hess, and Donald (Helga) Hess; and several nieces and nephews. SCHULZ Frederick M. "Fritz" Schulz, age 88, of Grove City, died Monday February 19, 2001 at home. He retired from Green Lawn Cemetery in 1981 as Yard Superintendent after 52 years of faithful service. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, an avid Euchre player, loved flowers and the outdoors, and loved being with his family and friends, and was loved by all. He was preceded in death by wife Amy Jean in 1991 and a grandson Larry Adams. He is survived by children, Bobby (Charlene) Schulz, Vicki West, Holly Baker, Susie (Lou) Morrell, Billie Jo (Peter) Romans, Ellie (Kevin) Hunter, Anna May (Richard) Adams, Mary Lou Miller and Freddie (Darlene) Schulz; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter; and a sister, Anna Schulz. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. WALTON Robert James Walton, Sr., age 70, of New Albany, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 19, 2001 at St. Ann's Hospital. Born in Plain Township to the late Roy and Elizabeth Walton. Bob was the 5th of 7 children, six of whom graduated from New Albany High School.
Veteran U.S. Army WW II having served as a paratrooper. Retired from Timken Roller Bearing Co. after 39 years as a machinist. He was also employed as an Instrument Maker for the OSU Astronomy Department for 5 years. He was a collector of classic automobiles, loved gardening, archery and baseball. Preceded in death by brothers Roy, Ray and Paul. Survived by wife of 30 years, Carole D. Walton; son, Robert J. (Sue) Walton, Jr.; daughter, Amy Walton; step-children, Steve (Eileen) Rumley, Susan (Matthew) Dicks; grandchildren, Katherine, Andrew, Joey and Calvin; brothers, Cecil (Arloia) Walton, Donald (Barbara) Walton; sister, Helen King; many nieces, nephews and friends.
