Memorial Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1860 Northam Road, Columbus, with Msr. Funk officiating. Mr. Warga was born April 7, 1969 in Columbus, Oh. He was employed by VerticalNet, Inc. as Senior Director of Corporate Development. Graduate of Capital Law School 1994, Wittenberg University 1991, and Northridge High School 1987. Survived by his wife, Megan Warga of Collegeville, Penn.; daughter, Brooke; parents, Peter and Pamela McCloud Warga of Pataskala; grandfather, Raymond Barber of Pataskala; aunts and uncles, Charles and Jean McCloud of Pataskala and V. Marie Zangmeister of Newark; cousins, other relatives and many friends. The family will receive friends 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at WARREN F. KAUBER FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala. In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted for future scholarships and trusts for Northridge High School and Wittenberg University.

WATROUS Melvin R. Watrous, 59, February 18, 2001 at Doctors Hospital West. Retired Fire Marshall for Grandview Heights Fire Department. Member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Community Lodge #684 F&AM, Scottish Rite. Preceded in death by father Melvin L. Watrous. Survived by mother, Verla (Frank) Switzer; brother, Daniel Watrous; aunt, Lesta L. "Betty" Morgan; several cousins. Friends may call at the DEYO-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 1578 W. WHITE Eloise Cooper White, 85, of Columbus, Oh., died 5 a.m. Sunday, February 18, 2001 at OSU Hospital East, Columbus, Oh. Born September 6, 1915 in Pomeroy, Oh., daughter of Homer E. and Edna Hart Cooper. Bookkeeper for Meigs County Farm Bureau and Electrical Contractor for White Electric. Member of Middleport Church of Christ. Longtime member of Middleport Child Conservation League and Meigs County Farm Bureau. Preceded in death by parents, husband Dan M. White, brother William G. Cooper, sisters-in-law Clara Louise Smith Cooper and Phyllis Cooper and nephew William R. Cooper. Survived by daughter, Barbara J. White, Columbus, Oh.; nephew, J. Michael Cooper, Medina, Oh. No funeral service. Visitation Wednesday February 21, 2001 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at EWING FUNERAL HOME, Pomeroy, Oh. Interment Beech Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to charity of choice.

ALLEN Lawrence "Terrell" Allen, age 14, February 17, 2001 at Children's Hospital. Attended St. John's Baptist Church. Student at Indianola Middle School, where he was a band member, played baseball and was an Honor Roll student. Preceded in death by grandmother Mary Bell Allen. Survived by mother, Wanda Gail Allen; father, Lawrence Thrasher; brother, Montae' Thrasher; grandparents, Jessie Gray, Martha Splunge, Shirley Thrasher and Bobby Salter; many uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends. Friends may call at CROSBY FUNERAL HOME, 2323 E. Fifth Ave., Friday February 23, 2001 after 10 a.m., where family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12noon. BARNETT Helen Anderson Barnett born July 11, 1919, died Friday, February 16, 2001 at Ormond Memorial Hospital. A native of Follansbee, W.Va., she was the daughter of Hulda Latimer Anderson and Robert Wylie Anderson, descended from pioneer families of western Pa. and Northern W.Va. She retired from Bank of Ohio, Columbus, Oh. after 17 years of service, attaining the position of Assistant Vice President. During WW II she was the secretary of the Brooke County, W.Va. Selected Service Draft Board. She was also secretary for J.F. Edwards, Industrialist and Financier, prior to her bank career. Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Clarence L. Barnett; son, C. Robert Barnett and his wife, Lysbeth; son, James A. Barnett and his wife, Paula; daughter, N. Jane Powell and her husband, Austin. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews of a large and extended family that she dearly loved. Mrs. Barnett was an active member of Highlands Presbyterian Church and Riviera Golf Club serving as President of the "Niners" for several years. She was a generous and loving person and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held at the Follansbee United Presbyterian Church, Saturday February 24, 2001 at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Arrangements entrusted to the NEWLIFE FUNERAL CHAPEL, Ormond Beach, Fla., 904-676-1333.

BERTRAM James J. Bertram, 83, of Reynoldsburg, Oh. and Sebring, Fla. passed away Friday, February 16, 2001 at Select Specialty Hospital, OSU East after a tough battle with emphysema and pneumonia. Jim is a veteran of WWII having served in Patton's 3rd Army. Retired from DSCC and US Army Reserve. He is a former long time member of Highlands Golf Club. He is survived by wife of 35 years, Carol N. Bertram; sisters, Betty (Amp) Hayden, Euless, Tex., Nancy Zoderer, Indianapolis, In.; brother, Maury (Romilda) Bertram, Albuquerque, NM; step-daughter, Nancy Jean (Ray) Mauger, Pataskala, Oh.; eight nieces; eleven nephews and four step-grandchildren. His memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday, February 22 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston, Columbus, Oh. Reverend Wayne A. Zavotka officiating. The family will receive friends * hour before service. In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to American Lung Association, Mid-Ohio, 1950 Arlingate Lane, Columbus, Ohio 43228. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

BISHOP Sheldon D. Bishop, 24. Departed to be with the Lord Monday, February 19, 2001, Kobacher House. Member of God's Grace Deliverance Apostolic Faith Church. Survived by parents, Bishop Seaborn D. Bishop and Beverly A. Bishop; sisters, Lynette (James) Bishop-Anderson and Lisa Bishop; special nieces, Brittney and Brooke Tubbs; brother-in-law, N. Edward Tubbs, all of Columbus; very special friend, Tawanya Thomas of Stone Mountain, GA; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, church family and many friends. She was a graduate of Franklin Heights High School and was formerly employed by Angel Computer Service Inc. Preceded in death by her father Albert F. Capuana. Surviving are her mother, Lolita A. Capuana of Grove City; children, Tara Blount of Columbus and Chad Blount of Grove City; brother, Dean (Barbara) Capuana of Grove City; sisters, Norma (Frank) Czarnecki of Schaumburg, IL and Kandy (Stan) Johnson of Columbus; several nephews and one niece. Calling hours 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the SCHOEDINGER NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, where the funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2001 with Rev. CARTWRIGHT Clanthe (Billie) Cartwright celebrated her arrival in heaven on her birthday Sunday, February 18, 2001. She was born in Cheshire, Oh. on February 18, 1922. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband William H. Cartwright in 1981 and her beloved daughter Donna Jean Cartwright Jackson in 1973. Billie is survived by 3 sisters, Elizabeth Creech of Piketon, Oh., Leola Mitchell of Columbus, Oh. and Viola Deible of Columbus, Oh.; 2 brothers, James Reeves of Columbus, Oh., Walter Reeves, Jr. of Columbus, Oh.; 2 sons, Donald R. Cartwright of Waterflow, New Mexico, James W. Cartwright of Sarasota, Florida; 1 daughter, Sharon Treadway of Anthony, Florida. Her grandchildren are Gregory Treadway, Shawn Treadway, Glen Treadway, Brian Cartwright, Brett Cartwright, Brad Cartwright, Larissa Cartwright, Rodney Cartwright, Melissa Cartwright, Kevin Jackson, Tracy Jackson, Sheri Maple, Misti Phelps, David Park and Toy Jackson. She has 32 great-grandchildren and a host of precious friends. Billie was an active member of Brown Rd. Community Church in Columbus, Ohio and of Rushville Church of Christ in Christian Union in Rushville, Oh. She was a member of the board of Many Waters Mission to the American Indians in New Mexico. Arrangements are being handled by SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, where the viewing will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service Thursday at 2 p.m. at Brown Rd. Community Church, 1553 Brown Rd., Columbus, new building, with Rev. Thomas Barker, officiating. Interment at Obetz Cemetery. Her greatest prayer is that her loved ones come to know Jesus and see her in heaven.

CHANDLER Martha June Lynch Chandler, born June 5, 1925, passed away in her home February 19, 2001 after a brief battle with leukemia. Survived by daughter, Robin (Lynch) Weidman of Marietta, Ga.; son, William A. Lynch, III of Columbus; daughter, Heidi (Lynch) Stuff (Ken) of Mariengo, Oh.; grandchildren, Janelle and Autumn Weidman, Karrina and Karissa Lynch and Kennith, William, Gary and Jillian Stuff; beloved sister, Catherine Dupler of Logan, Oh.; many nieces and nephews, special friends, Charlene Devaney and Doris Hill; many church friends. She served as a Riverside volunteer (500 hours) and was a previous owner/beautician of Fantasy Hair Fashions in Beechwold. Active member of the Oakland Park United Methodist Church, where she served as finance committee chair and on the basement sale committee. A memorial service will be held Friday February 23, 2001 at 2:30 p.m. in the Oakland Park United Methodist Church, 994 Oakland Park Ave., Columbus. Friends and family are invited to visit following the service until 5 p.m. in the church reception hall. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her honor to the "Roof Fund" of the Oakland Park United Methodist Church. COPELAND Charles M. Copeland, age 73, of Upper Arlington, formerly of Worthington, passed away February 17, 2001. Charles was born in Cadiz, OH and graduated from Kiski School. He later graduated from The Ohio State University where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. He served his country in the U.S. Army and retired from FMC Corporation in 1987 after many years. He played coronet for a local band and was a member of Riverview Country Club. Charles' wife of 50 years, Dorothy, passed away last August after a lengthy illness. He is survived by sons, Steve (Cindy) Copeland of Upper Arlington, OH, Mike (Kathy) Copeland of Merced, CA. and Frank (Gail) Copeland of Orchard Lake, MI; grandchildren, Jessica and Matthew of Upper Arlington, Christy and Ali of Merced, CA. and Adam and Lisa of Orchard Lake, MI. A graveside memorial service will be held at Union Cemetery Wednesday February 21, 2001 at 12noon, where the family will receive friends prior from 11 a.m.-12noon in the Union Cemetery Chapel. Pastor Steve Wachtman officiating. Friends, if they wish, may make a contribution to a charity of choice in Charles' memory. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd.
