MESSMORE Glenn Messmore, age 70, passed away Friday, February 23, 2001 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. Retired after 44 years of service with Buckeye Steel Co. U.S. Navy Veteran of Korean War. Member of American Legion Post #144. Preceded in death by wife Phyllis. Survived by daughters, Jenny Paugh of Columbus and Joni Messmore of Chillicothe; sons, Brent (Lana) Messmore of Glenford, Oh. and Jeff (Amanda) Messmore of Carroll, Oh.; grandchildren, Shawn (Karen) Paugh, Brandy Paugh, Dewey Roof, James Glen Messmore, Melissa A. Messmore, Sarah A. Messmore, Michael Philip Messmore, William Daugherty, Daniel Brown and Amanda Brown; 7 great-grandchildren; friend and dear companion, Rita Sue Wheeler. Friends may call at O.R. MOCK Rose Mock, age 99, of Bradenton, Fla. and Youngstown, Oh., February 22, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Member of Miriam Chapter #278 O.E.S., Youngstown, Oh. Preceded in death by husband Delmar F. Mock and daughter Laurel Jones. Survived by daughter, Delmyra Tayner of Columbus; grandchildren, Linda (Patrick) Linesch, Mark (Robin) Jones ;and Beth Jones; 2 great-grandchildren; cousin, Ruth of Cleveland, Oh.; and special friend, Marge Dewey of Fla. MOUNT Ellen Dolores Mount, 87, of Newark, passed away Friday, February 23, 2001 at the Hospice Unit at Licking Memorial Hospital. Born April 24, 1913. Preceded in death by husband Roy A. Mount. Survived by daughter, Dolores Wolfe of Pataskala; son, James Mount of Tampa, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Barb Mount of Columbus; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Gale Mount of Heath; daughter and son-in-law, Ruth Ann and Dennis Hunt of Heath; daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Dave Wooten of Newark; 18 grandchildren; 42 great- grandchildren; 9 great- great- grandchildren. McGINNIS Fred T. McGinnis, age 84, of Columbus, died Thursday, February 22, 2001 at St. Ann's Hospital. Retired Administrator from Capital University. Veteran WW II, U.S. Navy. Member E.T. Carson Lodge #598 F&AM for over 50 years. He was also an avid amateur photographer. Survived by wife, Laura Jane McGinnis; children, Nancy Shumaker, Ariz., Patricia (Don) Burnette, Calif., Carolyn (Tom) Nelson, Sunbury, Oh.; grandchildren, Cindy (Ted) Parker, Va., Jill (Tim) Urbany, Pa., Bart (Kim) Shumaker, Ind., Steve Burnette and David Burnette, Calif., Amber Nelson and Velvet Nelson, Sunbury, Oh.; 6 great-grandchildren. Graveside service and interment 11 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2001, Union Cemetery. Rev. Brenda Yeager officiating. Family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association or the Memorial Fund at Friendship Village of Columbus, in his memory.

PALMER H. Howard Palmer, age 91, of Upper Arlington, passed away February 23, 2001 at Friendship Village of Dublin. He was a member of Northwest United Methodist Church, a retired lieutenant commander with the U.S. Navy and veteran of WW II. Howard was a school administrator for over 14 years with Maumee and Mark Center High Schools, serving as principal, superintendent, and coach for baseball, baseball and track. He was also a member of the Reserved Officers Association and Singing Buckeyes. Howard retired as owner and operator of HH Palmer Distributorship. He is preceded in death by his brothers Thaddeus and Ray Palmer and sisters Fay Cornelius, Dora Hopkins and Laura Chambers. Howard is survived by his wife of 69 years, Glenna G. (Gustin) Palmer; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Friends may call 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2001 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2001 at Northwest United Methodist Church, 5200 Riverside Dr., Columbus, Oh. 43220. Interment Kingwood Memorial Park. RAYNARD Robin L. Raynard, 32, Centerburg, Thursday (February 22, 2001) afternoon. Born in Columbus February 15, 1969 to Robert and Joyce (Daniels) of Centerburg. In addition, survived by brothers, Robert L., Jr. and Rick L., both of Centerburg; sister, Rhonda L. (Scott) Lanham, Centerburg; grandparents, Vergie Raynard, Columbus and Louise Daniels, Gallipolis; niece and nephews, Mitchell and Kyle Raynard and Taylyn Lanham. RESANOVICH Claire (Ulrich) Resanovich, Pickerington, formerly of Orchard Park, N.Y., died on February 23, 2001 in Columbus, Oh. Beloved wife of the late George Resanovich; dearest mother of Carol Fentzke (William Rafter) of Sterling Heights, Mich., Lynn (Mark) Haley of Pickerington, Oh. and George (Connie) Resanovich of Delaware, Oh.; dear grandmother of 9 grandchildren, Adam, Ryan and David Haley, Pickerington, Richard (Kathy) Fentzke, Chicago, Kevin Fentzke, Birmingham, Mich., Brian (Allison) Fentzke of Southfield, Mich., Nicole Resanovich of Delaware, Kelly (Jeff) Beers of Dublin and Jon Barker of Jacksonville, Fla. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Courtney, McKenzie and Kiersten; dearest friend of Mary Mally of West Falls, N.Y. and Joyce (Jim) Greene of Hamburg, N.Y. The family greatly appreciates the spiritual guidance given by Pastor Jeff Billingsley of Grace Bible Church, Canal Winchester to Claire while in Columbus. ROOP Agnes Williamson Roop, age 88, formerly of Upper Arlington and Lancaster, died Tuesday, February 20, 2001 at Westminster-Thurber Healthcare Center, Columbus, Oh. She was born April 26, 1912 in Amanda, Oh., the daughter of the late Grant and Rosa (Smith) Williamson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Raymond M. Roop, Sr. in November, 1996. She is survived by her son, Ray Roop, Jr. and his wife, Arlene, of Scottsdale, AZ.; grandchildren, Michelle and Ryan Roop; brother, Fritz Williamson, Logan, OH; sister, Jeanette Miller, Columbus; many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church. SCHUMACHER Harriet E. Schumacher, age 85, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2001 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. She was a member of Daughters of America-Pride of Columbus Council #207, Harmony Glee Club and she loved to bowl. She was preceded in death by her husband Adam, 4 brothers, 1 sister and an infant son. She is survived by her son, Edward (Mary) Schumacher, Thornville; daughters, Darlene (Clarence) Craig, Reynoldsburg, Shirley (Jerry) Bordner, Pickerington, Barbara (Bill) Offer, Shreveport, La., Sharon (Tim) Evans, Grove City; sisters, Pearl Veit, Calif. and Betty Goff, Columbus; sisters-in-law, Betty and Lucille Goff, Calif., Freida Schumacher, Columbus, Leona Schumacher, Pickerington; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. Her family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 East Main St., Reynoldsburg, where her service will be Monday at 11 a.m. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. SELZER John H. Selzer, age 84, of Canal Winchester, Wednesday, February 21, 2001, Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Retired Senior Tool Designer from North American/Rockwell in 1983. Member of Lithopolis United Methodist Church and the Orbiting Squares and Starlight Round Dance Group. WW II U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Gladys (Zwayer) Selzer; children, Sharon (Frank) Ventresca, Lithopolis, Richard (Marsha) Selzer, Columbus, Ron (Janelle) Selzer, Lancaster, Steve (Ronda) Selzer, Lithopolis, Greg (Patty) Selzer, Canal Winchester; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. SHULTZ Lempi M. Shultz, 94, of Parma, Oh., formerly of Monessen, Pa., passed away 21 February 2001 in Pleasant Lane Villa Nursing Home, Parma, Oh. Born 23 March 1906 in Monessen, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Suzanne Alhanen Nyrhinen. A homemaker, Mrs. Shultz had been a former member of the United Brotheran Church, Monessen. In addition to her parents, she had been preceded in death by her husband Raymond E. Shultz Sr. and 2 daughters Shirley M. Shultz and Sheila R. Thompson, also an infant son David Oliver Shultz. Survivors include 1 daughter, Mrs. Joyce Eckenroad of Parma Heights, Oh.; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond Jr. and his wife, Pat of Columbus, Oh., Sheldon and his wife, Nancy of Columbus, Oh.; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held in the RHOME FUNERAL HOME, INC., A Golden Rule Member Firm, 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, Pa 15062 on Saturday, 24 February 2001 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Saturday, 24 February 2001 with Pastor Charles Barber officiating. Interment will follow at Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, Pa.
