Previously employed by Atlas Linen Supply Co. as a route salesman for 15 years. Served as a Green Beret and Paratrooper in the U.S. Army. Graduate of West High. Former board of director, International Bottled Water Association. Cub Scout Master and Kentucky Colonel. Member Madison Lodge #221 F&AM, Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbus, Aladdin Temple, Achbar Grotto, Hilltop Shrine Club. Jim was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and had many devoted friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by father Statler B. Allison, brother Jon S. Allison. Survived by wife of 46 years, Beverly (Harmon) Allison; son, Jeffrey (Sandra Powell) Allison of Upper Arlington; daughters, Tamara (Sean) Guinan of Falmouth, Me. and Sherry (Rick) Ramey II of Dublin; grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Ashley and Andrew Allison, Samantha Ramey, Keelin and Delaney Guinan; mother, Mary Frances Allison of Columbus; sister, Jill (David) Mach of Minneapolis, Minn.; aunt, Leola Pflaum of Thornville; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Allison, Judy (Robert) Patton of Gaffney, S.C.; brother-in-law, Ronald Harmon of Buckeye Lake; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Pete Cameron, Jim Bolin and Bud Morrow. BETHEL Howard Bethel, age 71, of Hilliard, Saturday, February 24, 2001 at Doctor's North Hospital. Arrangements being completed by the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard.

BOWER Gretchen M. (Sims) Bower, age 50, died Wednesday, February 21, 2001 at Riverside Hospital. Preceded in death by parents and brother and beloved grandmother Bea Weishaupt. Survived by loving husband, Galyn; daughter, Kayla; step-daughter, Christine; brothers, Larry Fontanini (Karen), David Sims (Christine), John W. Sims; and many loving family and friends. Memorial Service will be held 6 p.m. Monday at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. Broad St. Rev. Bob Butler officiating. Family will greet friends 1 hour before the service and are invited to join the family following the service. Memorial gifts may be made to the Easter Seals, 565 Childrens Drive West, P.O. CHANDLER Jennie Chandler, age 78, of Urbana, Ohio died Saturday, February 24, 2001 in Kobacker House, Columbus, Ohio. She was born on April 25, 1922 in Philadelphia, Penn. to Stanley and Fances (Adamwitz) Kozlowski. She is survived by her sisters, Eleanor Sima and Lillian Maronski, both of Cherry Hill, NJ; brother, Ted Kozlowski of Sellersville, Pa.; nephews, Robert and Richard Sima and Johnny Kozlowski Jr.; nieces, Frances Rushing, Kathy Kozlowski and Cecilia Serrell; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis chandler and brother Johnny Kozlowski. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Urbana. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday in the WALTER-SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St., Urbana, Ohio, where the funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday with Pastor Stanley Cover officiating. Burial Oak Dale Cemetery.

COLES Stella (Kelly) Coles, 81, died Wednesday, February 21, 2001 at Mount Carmel West Hospital. Born in Elizabethtown, Ky. Resident of Columbus for 60 years. Preceded in death by mother Dora Kelly and daughters Donna and Barbara. Survived by children, Juliet Coles Rowland, Llewellyn (Carolyn), Robert III (Linda), Caroline Coles-Pate (Arthur Clark Jr.) of California, Deborah Stinson; sister, Glen Mary Gibson (Luther) of Chicago; grandchildren, Cassaundra Coles-Thomas, Kristi Rowland, Robert Owens Jr., Tiffany Coles, James Rowland III, Robert Coles IV, Kenneth Stinson, Camille Coles, Roepay Pate, Tonya Coles, Kelley Stinson; ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services Monday 12noon, Holy Spirit Fellowship Church, 52 Woodlawn Ave. Friends may call Monday after 10 a.m. at the church, where the family will receive friends 11 a.m. until the tine of service. Friends may if they wish make contributions to the Franklin County American Cancer Society, 900 Michigan Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43215. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. CURTIS William M. "Bill" Curtis, age 76, of Carroll, Thursday February 22, 2001 at Rockmill Nursing and Rehab Center. Retired Real Estate Administrator-State of Ohio Department of Transportation and well known dairy farmer in Fairfield County. Marine Corps Veteran of WW II. Charter Member and Past President of Carroll Lions Club, Carroll Old Timers, Carroll Community Senior Citizens and International Right of Way Association (I.R.W.A) Survived by daughter, Laurie (Kevin) Moore, Carroll; loving granddaughters, Julie and Ashley Moore; sister, Patsy (Ted) Anderson, Carroll; sister-in-law, Lois (Dr. Earl) Grimm, Columbus; nephews, Michael (Lori) Anderson and Timothy (Melissa) Anderson both of Carroll, Joseph (Gail) Grimm, Columbus and Robert (Ria) Grimm, Galena; sister-in-law, Doris Curtis (David) Cook of Columbus; nephew, Dale (Carole) Curtis of South Dakota; niece, Marcia (Richard) Sherer of Florida; 6 grand-nieces and nephews; cousins. Young, grandmothers Wilma Harden, Lennie Clark, grandfather Jessie L. Harden, brother George L. Young, Jr. Survived by her loving husband, Ralph Edwards; mother, Deborah N. Young; son, Kenneth Clark; granddaughters, Tanika, Kenisha and Shannon; grandsons, Jarryl, Devon and Jesse; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Keith H. Young of Calif.; sister, Phyllis J. FISHER Christiane Regina Fisher, age 53, of New Albany, Oh., passed away peacefully on February 21, 2001 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital, while in the company of her family. She was born in Berlin, Germany. Preceded in death by her father Heinz Leutholdt. She will be profoundly missed by her survivors, husband, Thomas P. Fisher; daughter, Stephanie M. Fisher (fiance, Bradley Scott Robinson); sister, Helga Helke of Wis.; brother, Reinhardt Leutholdt; mother, Elsa Leutholdt, both of Berlin, Germany. She is retired from Community Mutual Insurance in Worthington. Member of Church of the Resurrection Parish in New Albany. She was a local pioneer recipient of a double lung transplant in 1992 at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, Mo. She won countless battles with numerous illnesses and a great deal of thanks are extended to the many compassionate physicians and nurses that cared for her over the years. She had an abiding love and concern for all of God's creatures. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2001 at the Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church, 6300 East Dublin Granville Rd., New Albany, where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service. Msgr. J. Colby Grimes officiating. A luncheon will be held in the Church immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 1950 Arlingate Lane, Columbus, Oh. 43228 or the Capital Area Humane Society, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Drive, Hilliard, Oh. 43026 in her memory.

GENHEIMER David L. Genheimer, age 78, passed away Friday, February 23, 2001. Retired from Marble Cliff Quarry. WW II Army Veteran. Member of American Legion Post #144 and past Commander of the Color Guard. Preceded in death by wives June and Florence. Survived by son, Ronald (Margaret) Genheimer of Columbus; grandchildren, Ronald (Terri) Genheimer, Lisa Reese, David Genheimer, and Michael Genheimer; 5 great grandchildren; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at O.R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 255 East State Street, Monday 6-9 p.m., where funeral service will be held Tuesday 10:30 am. Dr. William L. Snider officiating. HEFFLEY Lelah Mabel Heffley, age 85, Friday, Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Born in Lilly, Penn. Member Gender Road Christian Church. Preceded in death by husbands Michael Yuhas who was killed in the line of duty during World War II and Wilbur Vernon Heffley; daughter Carol Lynn Heffley; parents Miles and Alvenia Musselman; brothers Arthur, Elmer, Charles and Joseph Musselman. Survived by nephew, Earl (Kitty) Musselman of Johnstown, Penn.; sister-in-law, Barbara Schnell and her son, Ronald of Johnstown, Penn; very special friends, Deborah Pecinovsky, Gary and Gloria Church; several other relatives and friends. Friends may call Sunday 4-6 p.m., EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Ave., and Monday 7-9 p.m., Hindman Funeral Home, Johnstown, Penn., where service will be Tuesday 11 a.m. Pastor Katherine Douglas officiating.
