Donald Finerty
NAPOLEON - Donald J. Finerty, 88, Napoleon, died Sunday afternoon at Henry County Hospital.
He was born Sept. 5, 1911, in Henry County, the son of John and Clara (Lehman) Finerty. He owned and operated Finerty's Shoe Fixery, Napoleon, for 35 years, retiring in 1986. He worked at the former Kennedy Shoe Repair in Toledo, was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, American Legion Post 300, VFW Post 8218 and Elk's Lodge 929, all of Napoleon. He also served grand marshall of the 1986 Christmas parade.
Surviving are a brother, Dr. William Finerty, Kenton; and a sister, Mary Lavin, Napoleon.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Clemence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the church with Rev. Ronald Brickner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with rites accorded by joint veterans' posts of Napoleon. Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. Thursday at Walker Mortuary, Napoleon.
Preferred memorials are to the church, Henry County Senior Center or a charity of the donor's choice.

Lisa Wulff
NAPOLEON - Lisa J. Wulff, 34, Napoleon, died Sunday evening at Henry County Hospital.
She was born March 21, 1966, in Cincinnati, the daughter of Hardrick and Joan (Farmer) Willis. In 1988, she married James Wulff, who survives. The 1984 Napoleon High School graduate worked at Small Parks Inc., Wauseon, for seven years, and was a charter member of Eagles Aerie 4428, Napoleon.
Also surviving are a son, Jonah, at home; a daughter, Chelsea, at home; her father, Cincinnati; a stepfather, Frank Boyd, Napoleon; a brother, Hardrick Willis Jr., Cincinnati; two sisters, Mrs. Greg (Samantha) Smith of Liberty Center and Sandra Pierson, Cincinnati; four stepbrothers, Ronald Boyd of Hamilton, Robert and William Boyd, both of Middletown, and Richard Boyd, Blue Ash; and a stepgrandmother, Beatrice Boyd, Massillon.
Preceding her in death were her mother and a brother, Thomas Willis.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, with Rev. Gary Malone officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
Preferred memorials are to the Juvenile Diabetes. Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.

Maxine Shawber
HAMLER - Maxine Shawber, 86, Hamler, died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in her daughter's home.
She was born Feb. 7, 1914, in Deshler, the daughter of William and Minnie (Miller) Butler. In 1945, she married Howard Shawber, who died in 1985. She was a retired farmer and a member of Zion Church of God in Hamler and its Ladies' Aid.
Surviving are a son, Wayne, Hamler; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Mary) Corbett, Findlay; a brother, Ralph Butler, Leipsic; a sister, Mrs. Howard (Geraldine) Wilcox, Toledo; and eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the church with Rev. James Tussing officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Friday at Love Funeral Home, Leipsic, and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
Preferred memorials are to Cancer Patient Service, Bridge Hospice or the church.

Susan Monteith
DESHLER - Susan M. Monteith, 80, Deshler, died at 8:18 a.m. Monday in her residence.
She was born Feb. 10, 1920, in Southall, England, the daughter of Ted and Ena Evalena (Tustian) Davis. In 1937, she married John Monteith, who died in 1990.
Surviving are a son, John, Deshler; five daughters, Mrs. Lewis (Evelyn) Kerr of Niantic, Conn., Mrs. Stephen (Linda) Scharf and Mrs. Curtis (Melanie) Stewart, both of Deshler, Mrs. Charles (Christine) Sigler of Findlay and Penny, Phoenix; two sisters, Shirley Knight and Nell Hurrell, both of Toronto; and 22 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Debra.
Private services will be held at a later date. There is no visitation. Handling arrangements is Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler.

Ronald Oler
BRYAN - Ronald B. Oler, 87, Bryan, died at 1:15 a.m. Friday in Harborside HealthCare, Bryan.
He was born March 7, 1913, in Thompson, Mich., the son of Arthur and Elsie (Kinney) Oler. In 1966, he married Violet Buffington, who survives. He was a construction worker for Ohio Operating Engineers Union, Akron, for 50 years prior to his retirement.
Also surviving are a daughter, Lindis Daly, Camarillo, Calif.; a stepson, Paul Buffington, Werton, W.Va.; a stepdaughter, Sharon Burkhart, El Cajun, Calif.; a sister, Theodora Finch, Tecumseh, Mich.; and a grandchild, three stepgrandchildren, a great-grandchild and four great-stepgrandchildren.
Services will be at a later date. Handling arrangements is Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton.

Marian Linehan
WAUSEON - Marian M. Linehan, 82, Wauseon, died Monday morning at Fulton County Health Center, Wauseon.
She was born Dec. 23, 1917, in Metamora, the daughter of Peter and Mary (Rabb) Klein. She married F. Lee Lineham, who preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Caspar Catholic Church, Wauseon, and its Altar Rosary Society.
Surviving are a son, James Stoll, Delta; a daughter, Barbara Mann, Wauseon; two brothers, Nick Klein of Delta and Cletus Klein, Lyons; three sisters, Lillian Watkins and Madeline Stoll, both of Delta, and Florence Owens, Toledo; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church with Rev. Robert Holden officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Assumption. Visitation is from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today at Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon, with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to Special Olympics.

Barbara Przyborski
WAUSEON - Barbara Przyborski, 57, Wauseon, died Sunday evening at her home.
She was born Oct. 17, 1942, in Houston, the daughter of Richard and Ernestine (Storemski) Clark.
Surviving are her parents, Houston; three daughters, Anne Mendizabal and Vickie, both of Wauseon, and Lisa Williams, Magnolia, Texas; three brothers, Clyde, Richard and Fred Clark, all of Texas; a sister, Elizabeth Cortez, Texas; and three grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon. Burial will be at a later date in Huntsville, Texas.

Dr. Keith Chism
Memorial services for Dr. Keith Chism will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in St. John United Church of Christ, Defiance. Chism, a Defiance College professor, died July 10 in Oakland, Calif. Funeral services were held in Paducah, Ky.

Rusty Wilson
Rusty L. Wilson, 41, Defiance, died Monday at his residence.
He was born Oct. 5, 1958, in Defiance, the son of Kenneth and Ardith Mae (Harman) Wilson. He was a 1977 graduate of Ayersville High School, an assisted living provider for Defiance County and owner of the Herb Shop, Defiance. He was also a member of the Association of Hypnotherapist and Ohio Association of Hypnosis.
Surviving are his parents, Defiance; two brothers, Rock of Traverse City, Mich., and Lonny, Cecil; and a special friend, Candy DeTray.
There will be no services or visitation. Handling arrangements is Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home.
Preferred memorials are to Highland Township EMS or the family.
