Services for Sandra J. Bok were held Wednesday at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. George Wenzinger officiating. Organist was Dave Moninger. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Ricica, Dave Kondas, Jesse Bernal, Rex Caperton, Lynn Sheets and Craig Bok. Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Mervin Meyer
Services for Mervin M. Meyer were held Wednesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Florida, with Rev. Douglas Corniels officiating. Organist was Loretta Imbrock. Burial was in Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance. Pallbearers were Mitch, Jeff and Todd Warncke, Bruce and Maurice Meyer, Mike Brubaker, Tom Meek and Fred Helmke. Honorary pallbearers were Marvin Gebers and Burdette Brink. Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home handled arrangements.

George Waxler Sr.
George L. Waxler Sr., 63, Defiance, died at 7:10 p.m. Thursday in his home.
He was born Dec. 31, 1936, in Defiance, the son of Harry and Goldie (Healy) Waxler. He was a mechanic at Marathon Service Center for 23 years, owned George's Auto Repair and worked at Defiance Eagles Aerie 372. He was a member of Defiance Police Auxiliary and a former member of Defiance Fire Department Auxiliary.
Surviving are three sons, George Jr. and Steve, both of Defiance, and Jeffrey, Cecil; a daughter, Mrs. Steve (Sandra) Black, Defiance; six brothers, William Waxler, Wilbur Davis, Robert Davis and Wayne Davis, all of Defiance, Ivan Davis of Edgerton and Ronnie Davis, Bryan; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Carol) Scott of Rice and Deborah Barham, Defiance; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a daughter, Karen; a sister, Lawana Stark; a brother, Daniel Davis; and two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Hunsinger officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday.
Preferred memorials are to Hospice the Caring Way of Defiance or the family.

Felipe Arroyo
HOLGATE - Felipe Arroyo, 77, Holgate, died Thursday morning at Holgate Quality Care Nursing Center.
He was born Dec. 22, 1922, in Peidras Negras, Mexico, the son of Sevra Arroyo. In 1948, he married Josefa Perez, who survives. He worked at GM Powertrain, Defiance, retiring in 1978.
Also surviving are two sons, Octavio Cruz of Elida and Chico, Napoleon; and six grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Napoleon, with Rev. Ronald Brickner officiating. Burial will be in Hoy Cemetery, Napoleon. Visitation is from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Walker Mortuary, Napoleon. A rosary service will be at 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
Preferred memorials are to American Lung Association.

Mary Jackson
HARLAN, Ind. - Mary Jean Jackson, 62, Harlan, died at 9:46 p.m. (Ind. time) Wednesday in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Sept. 13, 1938, in Defiance County's Milford Township, the daughter of Loren and Maybelle (Ebersole) Dickerhoff. In 1956, she married Robert Jackson, who survives. She worked at Yellowstone Restaurant in Hicksville, Alpine Restaurant in Fort Wayne and other businesses in Fort Wayne. She was a member of North Scipio United Methodist Church, Allen County.
Also surviving are her mother, Van Wert; two daughters, Shelley Williams of Harlan and Sandra Buuck, Fort Wayne; three sons, Dale of Fort Wayne, Duane of Woodburn and Dean, Harlan; two sisters, Judy Reznikov of Harlan and Sherry Subler, Delphos; a brother, Larry Dickerhoff, Van Wert; and 12 grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her father; a brother, Max Dickerhoff; and a grandchild.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. (Ind. time) Saturday in the church with Rev. Joe Andrews officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is after 3 p.m. (Ohio time) today at Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, and after noon (Ind. time) Saturday at the church.
Preferred memorials are to the church or Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Minneapolis, Minn.

Raymond Sanford
Services for Raymond W. Sanford were held Thursday at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Schroeder officiating. Burial was in Farmer Cemetery. Pallbearers were David, Luke and Phillip Baker, Dave Stuckey, and Rick and Greg Sanford.

Calvin Dunlap
Calvin B. Dunlap, 77, Defiance, died at 10:20 p.m. Friday at his residence.
He was born Feb. 14, 1923, in Zanesville, the son of Albert and Edna (Kovaleski) Dunlap. In 1943, he married Betty Sanderson, who survives. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force and worked at GM Powertrain for 29 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of First Church of Christ.
Also surviving are two daughters Mrs. Joseph (Anne Marie) Huebner of Sherwood and Mrs. John (Alicia) Mengerink, Napoleon; three brothers, Charles of Lakeworth, Fla., Clem of Zanesville and Leonard, Troy; three sisters, Grace Van Geldren of Frostproof, Fla., Mrs. Don (Gerrie) Davis of Hopewell and Mrs. Ray (Mellie) McHenry, Zanesville; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were two brothers, Albert and George.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with Rev. Bill Davis officiating. Burial will be in Ayersville Cemetery with military rites conducted by VFW Post 3360. Visitation is from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home, and an hour prior to services at the church Monday.
Preferred memorials are to Hospice the Caring Way of Defiance County.

Audrey Howard
DELTA - Audrey M. Howard, 86, Delta, died Saturday morning at Northcrest Nursing Home, Napoleon.
She was born July 9, 1914, in Adrian, Mich., the daughter of Frank and Tammy (Brockway) Summers. She married Clyde Howard, who died in 1982. She was a member of Aetna Grange, Winameg.
Surviving are two sons, Jack and George, both of Delta; two sisters, Jean Briggs of Phoenix, Ariz., and Wilma Bennington, Brooklyn, Mich.; and 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Richard; three brothers; and a sister.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon, with Rev. Paul Sternisha officiating. Burial will be in Winameg Cemetery, rural Wauseon. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday.
Preferred memorials are to the American Heart Fund.

Rosella Okuley
HOLGATE - Rosella A. Okuley, 74, Holgate, died at 1:40 a.m. Friday at Quality Care Nursing Home, Holgate.
She was born May 14, 1926, in Holgate, the daughter of Fredrick and Henrietta (Sonnenberg) Michaelis. In 1947, she married Vincent Okuley, who survives. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Hamler, and New Bavaria VFW Auxiliary.
Also surviving are two sons, William of Viroqua, Wis., and Mike, Leipsic; a daughter, Mrs. Harvey (Nancy) Holgrefe, Hamler; three brothers, Art Michaelis of Las Vegas, Nev., and Bernard and Fredrick Michaelis, both of Napoleon; a sister, Emma Warnecke, Defiance; and six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were four brothers, Lawrence, Ervin, Ted and Al Michaelis; and two sisters, a twin, Rosetta Michaelis, and Olga Panning.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Holgate, with Rev. Robert Kill officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. with a Rosary service at 8:45 p.m. Monday at Love Funeral Home, Leipsic.
Preferred memorials are to American Cancer Society.

Vickie Just
HOLGATE - Vickie S. Just, 39, Holgate, died at 6:41 a.m. Thursday from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident at Ohio 108 and Henry County Road O.
She was born July 26, 1961, in Defiance, the daughter of Lloyd and Ruby (Wireman) Thomas. In 1981, she married Jerry Just, who survives. She was a 1979 graduate of Patrick Henry High School and worked 18 years at Campbell Soup Co., Napoleon.
Also surviving are her parents, Hamler; a son, Jeffrey, at home; two daughters, Rebecca and Brenda, both at home; two brothers, James Thomas of Hamler and Rick Thomas, Leipsic; two sisters, Polly Fackler of Hamler and Flossie Leu, Holgate.
Preceding her in death was a sister, Rita Thomas.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Love Funeral Home, Leipsic, with Rev. Mary Bushong officiating. Burial will be in Marion Township Cemetery, New Bavaria.
Preferred memorials are to a charity of the donor's choice.
