Willa Mae Albert
PAULDING - Willa Mae Albert, 75, Paulding, died at 3:15 Saturday in Vancrest Health Care Center, Van Wert.
She was born Aug. 21, 1925, in Hicksville, the daughter of Olen and Flossie (Hall) Kisabeth. In 1944, she married Darris Albert, who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Eagles Auxiliary, Paulding.
Also surviving are a son Darris, Paulding; a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Sandra) White, Osage Beach, Fla.; and five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
There will be no services or visitation.
Handling arrangements is Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert.

Eustaquio Vega
Eustaquio Vega, 87, Defiance, died at 2 a.m. Monday in Defiance Hospital.
He was born Sept. 20, 1913, in Cayey, Puerto Rico, the son of Lorenzo and Nicolasa (Rivera) Vega. He married Higinia Rodriquez, who survives. He was a farmer and a member of St. John's Catholic Church.
Also surviving are a son, Ramon, Caguas, Puerto Rico; four daughters, Mrs. Elias (Julia) Jimenez, Mrs. Ruben (Maria) Aguiar and Mrs. Joe (Elsa) Montalvo, all of Defiance, and Mrs. Larry (Enilda) Myers, Humacao, Puerto Rico; and 31 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were three sons, Rodrigo, Augel and Justino; three sisters, Alzelma, Vaciliza and Francisca; and a grandchild.
Services will be at noon Thursday in the church with Rev. David Tscherne officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation is from 7-9 p.m. today and from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home, with a religious service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Preferred memorials are to a charity of the donor's choice.

James Harmon
CINCINNATI - Paulding County native James W. Harmon, 67, Cincinnati, died at 10:20 a.m. Sunday in his home.
He was born June 4, 1933, in Paulding County, the son of Bernard and Alvera (Horney) Harmon. He was a retired Cincinnati area high school teacher and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his mother, Defiance; three sisters, Mrs. Emil (Joan) Schaffer and Mrs. Kenneth (Cathleen) Rose, both of Defiance, and Mrs. Harvey (Janice) Boyce, Sherwood; and a brother, John, Clinton, Tenn.
Preceding him in death were his father; and a sister, Kay.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Revs. Bryan Maxey and Bill Davis officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-9 p.m. today.
Preferred memorials are to the American Cancer Society.

Elvin Moore Sr.
HAMLER - Elvin L. Moore Sr., 84, Hamler, died Sunday at 3:24 p.m. in his home.
He was born July 21, 1916, in Colton, the son of Stanford and Mazie (Smith) Moore. In 1944, he married Florence Punches, who survives. He was a farmer and worked at Campbell Soup Co., Napoleon, retiring in 1978. He was a member of Zion Church of God in Hamler and Hamler-Gerald Co-op.
Also surviving are three sons, Elvin Jr. of Leipsic, Dennis of Hamler and Clair Friedhoff, Fayette; three daughters, Georgia Jones of Leipsic, Mrs. James (Leona) Hattery of Ottawa and Mrs. Glen (Myra) Spangler, Hamler; a brother, Glen, Liberty Center; two sisters, Mrs. Calvin (Cecil) Burkett of Colton and Esma Meech, Napoleon; and 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was an infant brother.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Love Funeral Home, Leipsic, with Rev. James Creager officiating. Burial will be in Marion Township Cemetery, Hamler. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday.
Preferred memorials are to Henry County Home Health and Hospice or American Cancer Society.

Edwin Lantz
PETTISVILLE - Edwin C. Lantz, 88, Pettisville, died Monday morning at Fairlawn Haven, Archbold.
He was born Dec. 20, 1911, near Pettisville, the son of Ammon and Erma (Buehrer) Lantz. In 1941, he married Gertrude Amstutz, who died in 1998. He and his wife owned and operated the former Lantz's Store, Pettisville. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Pettisville Missionary Church where he served as deacon and Sunday school teacher.
Surviving are a son, James, Pettisville; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Karin) Cramer of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Robert (Doreen) Moening, Delta; three brothers, Dale and Robert, both of Archbold, and Gene, Pettisville; two sisters, Opal Lauber and Ruth Lantz, both of Pettisville; and 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Wilbur and Emerson; and a sister, Marjorie Stickley.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the church with Revs. John Horning and David Dyck officiating. Burial will precede services in Pettisville Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday at Fairlawn Chapel, Archbold. Handling arrangements is Short Funeral Home, Archbold.
Preferred memorials are to the church's building fund.

James Meyers
NAPOLEON - James A. Meyers, 58, Napoleon, died Sunday afternoon at Medical College of Ohio Hospital, Toledo.
He was born Dec. 15, 1941, in Napoleon, the son of Lawrence and Catherine (Rohrs) Meyers. In 1989, he married Arlene Huener, who survives. He was a truck driver for Schultz Oil Co., Tiffin, for 12 years, and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Napoleon and Ottawa River Beagle Club, Defiance.
Also surviving are his mother, Napoleon; a son, Chad, Napoleon; two brothers, Lawrence of Maumee and Charles, Fayetteville; a sister, Mrs. Lynn (Sharon) Frederick, Defiance; and two grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was his father.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the church with Rev. Fred Duschl officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Napoleon Township, with Rev. David Gensch officiating. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, with a scripture service at 8:30 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to the church, Ottawa River Beagle Club or a charity of the donor's choice.

Clarence Robinette
PAULDING - Clarence K. Robinette, 84, Paulding, died at noon Sunday in Hawthorn Court Nursing Home, Paulding.
He was born May 1, 1916, in Paulding County, the son of Will and Leona (Russell) Robinette.
Surviving are a brother, Raymond, Paulding; two sisters, Bessie and Dora, both of Paulding; and a half brother, Harry Vance, Fostoria.
Preceding him in death were two brothers, Henry and Franklin.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, with Rev. Roger Reece officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Paulding County's Jackson Township. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Wednesday.
