Ralph Poulton
Ralph Poulton, 81, of Columbus, died Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He is survived by wife of 55 years, Beryl, children Dennis (Kathy) Poulton of Cincinnati, Jeffrey (Sharon) Poulton of Columbus, Deanna (Steve) Butherus of Greeley, Colo., Fred Poulton of Columbus; seven grandchildren, Erica, Scott, Kendra, Cory Poulton; Sarah, Rachel, Daniel Butherus; sister, Ethel (Delven) Devore; double cousins, Ruth Salisbury and Ruby Briggs. Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Pearle Poulton and brothers, Edgar and Charles Poulton.
Ralph was born in 1921 in the town of Rinard Mills, Monroe County, Ohio. Throughout his youth, he worked in a family-owned country store, brothers married sisters, lived in twin houses next to the store and ran a successful business. Ralph graduated from Graysville High School and Marietta College with a Phi Beta Kappa/summa cum laude in mathematics and economics. He entered the armed forces as a meteorologist, serving on the island of Kwajalein in the South Pacific. After returning from the Army, he taught math at Woodsfield High School. He married Beryl McHugh in 1948 and moved to Columbus, where he acquired his master's degree in probability and statistics at OSU. His processional life was spent in the insurance business. The Poultons joined North Broadway United Methodist Church in 1950 and have been active participants since that time. Ralph was a gentle, loving, devoted husband, father and grandfather. Family came first. He was always there to help whenever needed.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 14, 3 p.m. at North Broadway United Methodist Church with Rev. Edwin Lewis officiating, with visiting hours 1 to 3 p.m. Viewing will be Sunday, June 15, noon to 2 p.m. at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home in Woodsfield, Ohio. Graveside services 2 p.m. Sunday in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield.
Memorial contributions may be made to the North Broadway UMC Memorial Fund, 48 E.N. Broadway, Columbus, Ohio.

Edward Dobranetski
June 12, 1911- June 3, 2003
Edward Bernard Dobranetski, Sr., of Rayland, Ohio, a noted educator and mentor, died on Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, Ohio.
He was born in Connerville, Ohio, son of the late Charles and Josephine Dobranetski.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary H. Repasky Dobranetski, brothers John, Charles, Bernard, Walter, Stanley and Ignace, an infant sister and great - grandson Jason Pontia.
Surviving are his present wife, Maria Schumacher Dobranetski, daughter Marlene Frye and her husband, Harley of Tiltonsville, a son, Edward Dobranetski, Jr., and wife Barbara of Gaithersburg, Md., stepsons Edward Schumacher of New Philadelphia, Ohio, and Keith Schumacher of Acworth, Ga., a sister-in-law, Rosalie Dobranetski of Connerville; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Edward graduated from Tiltonsville High School in 1929 and Kent State University in 1932. He received his masters of education from the University of Pittsburgh in 1939. He served as industrial arts teacher, principal and superintendent of schools for the Warren Consolidated School District. He served as principal of Buckeye South High School and superintendent of the Buckeye Local School District. He retired in 1972 after 40 years in the education field.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Tiltonsville, where he formerly served as president of the Holy Name Society and the St. Francis Society. He was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus where he served as district governor. He was a funeral alter server at St. Joseph's for 25 years.
He was a member of the Warren Township Lions Club where he had perfect attendance for over 20 years. He served as president of the OVAC.
He served as a member of the board of directors of the EORTA. He was a life member of the Ohio Valley Retired Teachers, Ohio Superintendent Association., Ohio Teachers Association., and Ohio Retired Teachers Association. He also was a member of the Carpenter's Union where he helped build several area homes.
Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Tiltonsville, with Monsignor George Coyne officiating. Entombment will be at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio. Wake services will be Sunday, 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Joseph Bukac Jr.
Joseph Bukac Jr., age 53, Arn Avenue, Tiltonsville, died Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at home. He was born Dec. 4, 1949 in Martins Ferry, son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Seach Bukac Sr.
An employee of the Tiltonsville Water Department and American Electric Power Cardinal Plant, Brilliant, he was a Presbyterian by faith; a member of Tiltonsville Volunteer Department and the Indian Club of Tiltonsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jo-Ann Savchuk and a niece, Samantha Savchuk.
Surviving are his fiance, Nancy Leis; a son, Jeremy Bukac of Texas; a sister, Jerilyn Budinsky of Gulf Port, Fla.; two nephews, four nieces and 11 great- nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Friday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Cook officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice, 380 Summit Ave., Steubenville, Ohio 43952.

Donald E. Blair
Donald E. Blair, age 77, of Smyrna, Ohio, died Monday at SEORM Center, Cambridge, Ohio.
Surviving are his wife Luella Hunter Blair, two sons, three daughters, a brother, a step-son, Randy Whitsell and a step - daughter, Tammy Smith of Barnesville.
Friends may call at Bond Funeral Home, Londonderry, Wednesday 5 to 9 p.m.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Swellsville Cemetery with military Services.

Carl Van Fossen
Carl M. Van Fossen, 87, of Barnesville, died Monday, June 2, 2003 at his home. He was born Aug. 31, 1915 in Piedmont, Ohio a son of the late Everett and Margaret Milliken VanFossen.
Carl was a long time member of the Sandy Ridge Church of Christ, he retired from R and F Coal Co., and was the former owner of VanFossen Coal Co.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Durbar and Betty Kirker, and two brothers, Leroy and Francis VanFossen.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Exma Mann VanFossen, one daughter, Beverly Winland, one grandson, Chad Carl Winland, all of Barnesville.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 702 East Main St., Barnesville where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with Evangelist Gale Yoho officiating. Burial follows in Ebenezer Cemetery Bethesda.

Eileen Bugala
Eileen Bugala, 74, Wood Street, Flushing, died Monday, June 2, 2003, at her home. She was born June 19, 1928, in Flushing, a daughter of the late Paul Edward and Ruby Frances Fuller Delaney.
She was a former telephone operator for General Telephone and a homemaker. Eileen was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Flushing and a member of the Council of Catholic Women.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Delaney; four sisters, Clarice Withrow, Barbara Spano, Mary Jane Felitsky and Judy Thompson.
Surviving are her husband, Stanley E. Bugala; one son, Stanley E. (Bud) Bugala, Jr. of Waynesville, Ohio; four daughters, Kathleen Dymidowski, Cheryl Kowalski, and Caryl Gossett, all of Flushing, and Kristine Adkinson of Gahanna, Ohio; one brother, Paul E. (Ed) Delaney of Flushing; ten grandchildren, Tina, Ed, Sheri, Missy, Mindy, Matt, Brittany, Noah, Jennifer, and Logan; five great grandchildren, Austin, Nathan, Allison, Graylan and Zackery.
Family members will receive friends at the Warren Funeral Home, Flushing, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Thursday, at 10 a.m. with Monsignor John Cymbor officiating. Burial follows in Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing.
Vigil services will be Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.

Regina Plevnak
Regina "Virg" Plevnak, 84, of Sunset Heights, Bridgeport, Ohio, died Sunday, June 1, 2003 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, Ohio.
She was born March 19, 1919 in Adena, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Jean Draminski Oleszeski.
She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Colerain, Ohio.
In addition to her parents "Virg" was preceded in death by one brother Leonard Oleszeski and two sisters Alice Seabright and Pola Roof.
Surviving are her husband Joseph, of 62 years, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend visitation Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where Vigil services will be held at 8 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Colerain with the Monsignor David Reasbeck the celebrant.
Interment follows at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.

George Warner
George W. Warner, 77, of State Route 513, Summerfield, Ohio, died at 3:40 p.m. Saturday, Mary 31, 2003 at the Summit Acres Nursing Home, Caldwell, Ohio.
He was born at Sarahsville, Ohio, on Jan. 27, 1926, a son of the late James I. and Minnie Curry Warner.
He was a retired boiler operator and supervisor for the Dana Corporation in Caldwell, with 39 years of service. He was a member of the Summerfield Church of Christ, where he had served as an elder for several years. He had served for two years in the U. S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Fleet on the ships of the Kittyhawk and Leefox. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 415, Summerfield, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Warner and Grant Warner and two sisters, Grace Kirkbride and Effie Warner.
Surviving are his wife, Audrey Betty Sorg Warner whom he married on April 25, 1947 and lived with on the family farm until his illness; a son, George W. Warner III and his wife Donna of Barnesville; three daughters, Linda E. Wells and her husband Paul of Marietta, Audrey A. Bonar and her husband Kenny of Pleasant City, Ohio and Chris A. Wilson and her husband Jon of Yorktown, Virginia; two sisters, Dorothy Carpenter of Summerfield and Betty Moore of Barnesville; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Brubach-Watters Funeral Home, Summerfield, Ohio, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday.
Friends will then be received at the Summerfield Church of Christ, Summerfield, from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, with Evangelist Franklin Love officiating. Burial follows in the Eastern Cemetery, Summerfield, Ohio, with full military graveside services.
