MARGARET A. LUDE
MARGARET A. LUDE, 86, of Bannock Rd. St. Clairsville, formerly of Wayne L. Hays Apts. Martins Ferry, Ohio, died Sunday, September 9, 2001, at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, W. Va.
She was born in Martins Ferry, on Monday, August 23, 1915, a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Schnell Schurtz.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Bridgeport, Ohio and a lifelong member of the Martins Ferry Women's Club.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carl E. Lude and her sister Mary Schurtz.
She is survived by 2 sons, George C. husband of Judy Lude, Florence, Kentucky,; William E. husband of Pamela Lude, Columbus, Ohio, and 1 daughter Phyllis J. wife of John McVey, Bellaire, Ohio. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Keller Funeral Home 615 Hanover Street Martins Ferry, where friends may call Tuesday, September 11, 2001, 7-9 P. M. and Wednesday 10 A. M. till time of service.
Funeral services were held at the funeral home, Wednesday, September 12, 2001 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Ronald Grissom officiating.
Interment followed in Belmont Co. Memorial Park St. Clairsville, Ohio.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church 56381 National Road Bridgeport, Ohio 43912.

KEVIN E. BLAKE
KEVIN E. BLAKE, 35, formerly of Wheeling Island, Wheeling, WV., died Monday, September 24, 2001, in Washington Court House, Ohio.
Kevin was born in Wheeling on Friday, May 6, 1966, the son of the late Nathan and Donna Smith Blake.
He is survived by his aunt, Catherine Blake of Wheeling, WV. and several cousins.
There will be no visitation and services were private at the convenience of the family.
Interment was held in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville, Ohio.

RAYMOND L. HEADLEY
RAYMOND L. HEADLEY, 64, formerly of Hanover Street, Martins Ferry, Ohio, died Sunday, October 14, 2001, in Marengo, Ohio.
He was born in Riverview, Ohio on Saturday, November 28, 1936, a son of the late Wilfred and Hester C. Wilson Headley.
He was a retired custodian for the Martins Ferry School District and also served as an umpire for Little League Baseball in Martins Ferry for a number of years. He served in the U. S. Navy. Ray was a member of the Redmens Club, American Legion, V.F.W. and the First Presbyterian Church, all of Martins Ferry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by two daughters, Patti L., wife of David Kanney of Ansonia, Ohio and Debra K., wife of Randall Bills of Sunbury, Ohio; and four grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Bill N. Lawrence officiating. Interment followed in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Institute for Cancer Research, 1759 R. Street NW, P. O. Box 97167, Washington, DC 20090-7167.

LOUIS BUMBICO
LOUIS BUMBICO, 86, formerly of Wheeling, WV, died Friday, November 9, 2001, in Adena, Ohio.
He was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on Monday, May 10, 1915, a son of the late Joseph and Rose Course Bumbico.
He was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Yorkville Plant. He also served in the U. S. Army during W/ W. II.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Nick Bumbico and four sisters, Minnie Bucci, Katharine Bumbico, Mary Moore and Betty Albano.
He is survived b y one brother, Sam Bumbico of Martins Ferry.
Services were held at the convenience of the family.
Interment was held at St. Marys Cemetery, Martins Ferry.

LUCILLE M. NAGY
LUCILLE M. NAGY, 79, of Elmhurst Street Martins Ferry, died Friday, November 23, 2001, at East Ohio Regional Long Term Care.
She was born in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Saturday, May 6, 1922, a daughter of the late Louis and Catherine McMakin Andears.
She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Martins Ferry.
She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Nagy and several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Jane Hill and Lucille Cuddihy and one son Jim E. Nagy, all of Martins Ferry. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services were held at the funeral home Monday November 26, at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Father Thomas Magary officiating. Interment followed in St. Anthony's Cemetery Blaine, Ohio.
Family request donations to Belmont Co. Animal Rescue League 45244 National Road West St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950.

EDWIN H. GOSNEY
EDWIN H. GOSNEY, 71, of So. Zane Highway Martins Ferry, Ohio, died Wednesday December 12, 2001 at East Ohio Regional Hospital.
He was born in Martins Ferry on Tuesday, July 22, 1930, the son of the late Howard M. and Elsie Holt Gosney.
He was a retired pharmacist at the Super X Drug Store Martins Ferry, a lifetime member of the First Methodist Church Martins Ferry. He was also a member of Ohio City Lodge, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite and the Osiris Temple.
He is survived by his wife Martha McKee Gosney, two daughters, Sue-Beth wife of Walt Warren, Wheeling; Lois Ann wife of Randy Sink, Pataskala, Ohio; one son, Edwin H. husband of Melissa Gosney II, Copley, Ohio; three granddaughters, Erica and Chelsea Warren, Renee Gosney; three grandsons, Jack and Peter Sink and Eddie Gosney.
Funeral services were held Saturday December 15, 2001 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Van D. Fisher, officiating. Interment followed in Riverview Cemetery Martins Ferry.
Donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church 3rd Clay Sts. Martins Ferry, Ohio 43935.

GENEVIEVE ANGELA BURCH
GENEVIEVE ANGELA BURCH, 83, formerly of N. 3rd Street, Martins Ferry, Ohio, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, in East Ohio Rgional Hospital.
She was born on Wednesday, April 3, 1918, in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late John and Catherine Wilch Wolanin.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Burch; two sons, Robert and Charles William Burch; two daughters, Mary Milbert Runner and Barbara Vennon; and also a grandson, William Buddy Burch.
Surviving are two sons, Joe and his wife, Carmella, and John and his wife, Barbara, all of Martins Ferry; two daughters, Margaret Cole and her husband, Harry, of Bridgeport, and Helen Cecil of Martins Ferry; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral liturgy with Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, October 26, 2001, at St Mary's Catholic church, Martins Ferry, with the Rev. thomas Magary and Monsignor Stanley Zekas as celebrants. Interment followed in St. Mary's Cemetery, Martins Ferry.

ALEX CRECION
ALEX CRECION, 87, of Brady Road, Martins Ferry, Ohio, died Monday, January 7, 2002, in East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry.
He was born in Martins Ferry on Sunday, June 21, 1914, a son of the late John and Veloria Crecion.
He was a retired shipping clerk for Picoma Industries of Martins Ferry. Alex served in the U. S. Marines during World War II and was a member of V.F.W.of Martins Ferry. He was also a lifelong member of St. Marys Catholic Church of Martins Ferry.
Surviving are his wfe, Anna E. Mista Crecion and a son, Alex Michael, husband of Connie Crecion of Martins Ferry. Also surviving are two grandchildren.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass was celebrated on Thursday, January 10, 2002, at 10 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church, Martins Ferry, with Rev. Thomas Magary as celebrant. Interment followed in St. Marys Cemetery, with full military honors by the Belmont County Council.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SMC 2000, 24 N. 4th Street, Martins Ferry, Ohio 43935
