Burial will be in Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville.

VIRGINIA M. ROBINSON
1925-2001
CADIZ — Virginia M. Robinson, 76, of Cadiz, died Saturday (June 16, 2001) at her home.
She was born May 7, 1925, in Harrison County, daughter of the late Kersey T. and Leota (Morgan) Sargent.
Mrs. Robinson was a member of Springdale Friends Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Robinson, in 1992.
She leaves two sons, Ronald and Gary (Cathy), both of Cadiz; a daughter, Mrs. Terry (Wanda) Galey of Cadiz; four grandchildren, Brett Galey, Scott Robinson, Jeannine Smith and Chad Galey; four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Elsie Dodd officiating.
Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery, Harrisville.
CLIFFORD LARRICK SECREST
1904-2001
CALDWELL — Clifford Larrick Secrest, 96, of Pleasant City, died Sunday (June 17, 2001) at Summit Acres Nursing Home, Caldwell, where he had been a patient for the past two years.
He was born Sept. 1, 1904, in Pleasant City, son of the late Oother B. and Sarah M. (McLaughlin) Secrest.
Mr. Secrest owned and operated a family farm near Pleasant City for many years and was a former employee of the American Food Company in Cambridge.
He was a member of the Pleasant City United Methodist Church and Point Pleasant Lodge Free and Accepted Masons.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby E. (Murphy) Secrest, on May 31, 1988; and a brother, Everett Secrest.
He leaves a son, John (Connie) Secrest of Caldwell; three grandchildren, J.D. Secrest of Marietta, and Tad Secrest and Ashley Secrest, both of Caldwell; and a great-grandson, Skyler Secrest of Marietta.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, where services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Burial will be in Pleasant City Cemetery.
DORIS RUSSELL
1911-2001
CADIZ — Doris Aukerman Russell, 90, of Cadiz, formerly of Deersville, died Sunday (June 17, 2001) at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz.
She was born June 4, 1911, in Massillon, daughter of the late Milton and Katherine (Pittis) Huff.
Mrs. Russell retired from Harrison County Board of Elections, where she served as director.
She was a member of Presbyterian Church of Christ, Cadiz, where she also belonged to the Women’s Association.
She was a member of Unionport Chapter 360, Order of Eastern Star; Cadiz Aerie 2162, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary; and Harrison County Democratic Women’s Club.
She was an avid piano player, and at one time played with a local band.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Francis J. “Bun” Aukerman, in 1974; her second husband, William H. Russell, in 1998; a brother, Herbert Huff.
She leaves a step-son, W. Judson Russell of Rockwall, Texas; three step-daughters, Beverly DeSantis of Riverhead, N.Y., Jahcolyn Neiman of Oviedo, Fla., and Shelley Herter of Casselberry, Fla.; 12 step-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where services will be 1 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. William Hudson officiating.
Burial will be in Cadiz Union Cemetery.

CARLOS E. BAYLY
1936-2001
SENECAVILLE — Carlos E. Bayly, 64, of Senecaville, died Saturday (June 16, 2001) at his home, following a brief illness.
He was born Nov. 17, 1936, in Pleasant City, son of the late Edison “Ted” and Hazel (Shimp) Bayly.
Mr. Bayly was a 1954 graduate of Pleasant City High School.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served from 1955 to 1963.
He was a life member of VFW Post 8040, and a member of Belle Valley American Legion.
He was a 40-year tool and die maker, having worked at Cambridge Tool and Die and Fehrman Tool and Die.
He leaves his wife, Barbara (Wolfe) Bayly; four sons, Larry Bayly of Cambridge, James Bayly of Byesville, and Bill (Denise) Bayly and Ted (Janice) Bayly, both of Cumberland; a daughter, Mrs. Danny (Aretha) Van Sickle of Byesville; a brother, Merlin Bayly of Pleasant City; four grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Meek-Black Funeral Home, Senecaville, where services will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Don Glass officiating. VFW Post 8040 will have services this evening at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Pleasant City Cemetery.
