WILSON Sean Christ Wilson, 28, of Columbus, passed away suddenly, Friday, May 3, 2002. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, a general building contractor, a devoted husband, father, son and brother who enjoyed hunting, fishing, restoring classic cars and piloting with his brother and father. He is survived by wife, Scarlett; son, Cody; parents, Robert and Vikkie Wilson; brother, Robert (Adena) Wilson; maternal grandmother, Marjorie Scott; grandmother-in-law, Christine Uribes; aunt and uncle, George S. and Sharon Wilson; aunt, Roxann (Donald) Lemaster; uncle, David Mowbray; cousins, Tracey Mowbray, Eric and Josh Whitt; nephews, Shane and Tyler; mother-in-law, Erminda Rhonehouse; father-in-law, Ronald Rice; sisters-in-law, Jessica and Audrey; brother-in-law, Jimmy; and numerous close friends. He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Veronica Margaret and William Robert Wilson, maternal grandfather Phillip Brown. Friends will be received Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. Funeral Services pending. ZIMMERMAN Walter Barton Zimmerman, age 79, of Upper Arlington, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2002 at Traditions at Mill Run. He attended North High School, Columbus Academy and graduated from Greenbrier Military Academy. He attended The Ohio State University and was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Walt served in the U.S. Army in the 862 squadron. He retired from Battelle Memorial Institute after 35 years. He will be missed by his loving wife of 54 years; Audrey Zimmerman; his children, Susan Reed of Los Angeles, CA, David (Krista) Zimmerman of Upper Arlington and Patty (Scott) Brady of Michigan; his grandchildren, Jamie and Casey Reed, Sean, Lyndsay and Adam Zimmerman, and Kyle and Suzy Brady. He is also survived by his loving sisters, Gene (Duane) Guerin, Marylou Corotis and Peggy Hallock, all of Columbus. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2002 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where friends will be received one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 PM. ADAMS Mary E. (Biggs) Adams, 95, of Mount Vernon, died Saturday, May 4, 2002 at Country Club Center in Mount Vernon. She was born on July 2, 1906 in Knox County to the late Eli and Cora (Black) Biggs. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Vine Street, the Town and Country Garden Club and the Ohio Eastern Star, Grove City Chapter 502. Mrs. Adams received her Nursing Degree from The Ohio State University and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Tulane University. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Frank Biggs, Katherine Roman, Jean Moorhead, Mary Lou Roberts, Richard Biggs, Robert Biggs, and good friends, Shirley Shotts and Paula White. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Luther Adams, and 3 brothers Byron Biggs, Frank Biggs and William Biggs. A funeral service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the DOWDS-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME where friends may call one hour prior. Rev. Jamie Gump will be officiating. BAULDRY Edith C. Bauldry, age 79, of Reynoldsburg, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2002. She retired from AT&T, was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Pickerington, a life member of V.F.W. Post #9473, Ladies Auxiliary, holding several offices on all levels. She is survived by her husband, Duane Bauldry; brother, John Carollo, Chicago; sister, Loraine Marlow, Iron Mountain, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where a V.F.W. Auxiliary service will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. Interment will be at the Iron Mountain cemetery, Iron Mountain, Mich.

BERNARD Helga Marie Bernard, died Thursday, May 2, 2002. Born August 27, 1922 in Bruenn, Czechoslovakia, she was the daughter of Viktor Novotny and Josefine Kronas. She enjoyed her longtime bookkeeping job for the family business Minerva Park Furniture Gallery. Survived by daughters, Chris (Joe) Conie, Linda (Tom) Besser; son, Victor Bernard and fiancee, Debra LaMaire; grandchildren, Patricia (Scott) Lofquist, Cindy Conie, Stefanie (Jeff) Mowrey, Jason and Regina Bernard; great-grandchildren, Karen and Michael Lofquist. Preceding her in death were her husband John A. Bernard, sister Irma (John) Hahn, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Anthony (Esther) Bernard, Joseph (Mary) Bernard, Louis (Marguerite) Bernard, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Maryann (Joe) Bucci, Carmella (Dominic) Militello, Lucille (Julius) DiSabato, Minnie (Joe) Rossetti and Christina Bernard and infant sister Louise. BERNLOHR Paul Keck Bernlohr, age 70, went to be with the Lord May 4 in Cincinnati, Oh., where he was a resident of Ridge Pavilion. Paul graduated from Bexley High School in 1949 and Capital University in 1953. He participated in football, basketball, and baseball at both schools. He attended The Ohio State University Medical School for 3* years, but due to a serious illness he had to give up his dream of becoming a country doctor. Paul was preceded in death by his parents Dr. Fred and Bertha Bernlohr and his brother William K. Bernlohr. He is survived by his brother Rev. Fred K. Bernlohr (Mary) of Hideaway Hills; sister, Mary Catherine Cunningham (Louis) of New Concord; sister-in-law, Rosemary Bernlohr of Delaware and many nieces and nephews. Paul was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Bexley. Funeral service Tuesday, May 7 at 1:30 p.m. at EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Ave., with his brother Fred officiating. BUNCE Eleanor E. Bunce, 89, formerly of Columbus, died Saturday, May 4, 2002 at Bortz Health Care Center in Petoskey, Mich. Born January 7, 1913 in Cleveland, Ohio to Charles and Julia Shafranek. Graduated from John Adams High School in Cleveland in 1931. Married July 24, 1943 to William H. Bunce in Cleveland where the couple made their home. Mrs. Bunce had been employed as a secretary for the T.R.W. Corp. in Cleveland. In 1953 the Bunce family moved to Columbus, Oh. In 1983 Mr. and Mrs. Bunce retired to Indian River, Mi. and they would vacation in Pensacola, Fl. during the winter. Mrs. Bunce was an avid golfer and bowler. She also enjoyed needlework, yardwork and flower gardening. She was a member of the Indian River Golf Club and a former member of the Oakhurst Golf Club and Hickory Hills Golf Club, both located in Columbus, Oh. Survived by husband, Bill; children, Susan (Jack) Bunce Queen of Reynoldsburg, Oh., Jack Bunce of Cincinnati, Oh.; grandson, Andrew Bunce of Cincinnati, Oh.; sister, Doris (Ray) Stepanek of Dallas, Tx. She was preceded in death by her brother Charlie. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6 until the time of service Tuesday, May 7, 2002 at the LINTZ FUNERAL HOME in Indian River, Mich. Funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2002 with the Rev. Dr. Michael Sanders officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Foundation.

CALDERONE William Calderone, age 75 of Columbus, died Saturday, May 4, 2002. He was born January 30, 1927 in Columbus, Ohio. Self employed contractor and a Veteran of the US Army, WWII. Preceded in death by parents Dominic and Mary Calderone; brother Louis Calderone and grandson Willie Calderone. Survived by wife, Ann Calderone; son, Michael (Becky) Calderone; daughters, Sharon (Rick) Nelson, Karen (Fred) Harvey, Patty (Mick) Simmons, Michele (Jeff) Murdock; brother, John (Becky) Calderone; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. DULIN Lewis Edward Dulin, age 81, of Columbus, Saturday, May 4, 2002, Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Veteran WWII, retired Assistant Chief Bailiff, Columbus Municipal Courts. Member and past Master, Humboldt Lodge #476 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus, Aladdin Temple Shrine and Swiss Club. Survived by daughters, Kathy Treffinger, of Oregon, Grace (Robert) Smith, of Columbus; son, Ronald Lee (Josephine) Dulin, of Arizona; 11 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren. DeGIRALOMO Anthony DeGiraloma, age 81, Friday, May 3, 2002, James Cancer Hospital. Chief building Inspector for the City of Columbus, Architect and Builder. Veteran U.S. Army WW II, Infantry 90th Division and Purple Heart Recipient. Member of St. Christopher Parish, Amici D'Oro, GAC's, American Legion Post 614, American-Italian Golf Association and Riviera Country Club. Preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Josphine; brothers, Prosby, Orlando, Louie and sister Jenny. Survived by loving wife of 60 years, Mary (Pellegrino) DeGiralomo; son, Lenny DeGiralomo; daughters, Diana (Earl) Browning, Cheryl (Rick) Griffin; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Elmer; sisters, Jenny, Margaret, Mary and Vickie, all of Canton, Oh.; many nieces and nephews. ECKENRODE Emaree Eckenrode, age 87, Thursday, May 2, 2002 in Dearborn, Mich., after a brief illness. Former resident of Columbus, Ohio and also Grosse Pointe, Mich. and Columbia, Mo. Preceded in death by husband Frank. ELAM F. Stanley Elam, 98, a former Eden Park, Portsmouth resident, died Saturday, May 4, 2002 at Hillview Retirement Center in Portsmouth. Born April 8, 1904 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, a son of the late George W. and Susan (Kennard) Elam, he was a machine operator for the former Empire-Detroit Steel Corporation in New Boston, retiring in 1968 with 38 years of service. He was a member of Candy Run United Baptist Church, enjoyed several years of hunting, and was an excellent marksman in trapshooting. He is survived by his wife, Couza (Rigsby) Elam, whom he married April 13, 1929 in Magoffin County, Ky.; 2 sons, Paul G. (Caralyn) Elam of Ashland, Ky., George Stanley Elam of New Boston; 1 daughter, Rita Sue Winters of Scottsdale, Ariz.; 1 brother, Ledger Elam of Eden Park; 3 grandsons, Joe Elam, Dale Elam, Sam Winters III; 1 granddaughter, Veronica Winters-Everly; 6 great-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren, and 1 step-great-great-grandson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 brothers Herbert, Dewey, Buford, James and Dolphia Elam, 4 sisters Ethel Hammonds, Hazel Smith, Nettie Rowland, and Hester Gambill, 1 grandson Danny Elam and a son-in-law Sam Winters Jr. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2002 at ERWIN-DODSON-ALLEN FUNERAL HOME in Minford with Rev. ELDRIDGE Edwin "Eddie" Eldridge, age 91, of Columbus, died Friday evening with his family by his side. He was born July 17, 1910 in Madison, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Odia Mae Eldridge. He is survived by his beautiful and loving wife of 25 years, Gloria Gussler Eldridge; children, Edwina Mae Eldridge, Denise (Bill) Warth, Debbie (Tim) McKeon, Louis (Dana) Gussler, Elaine (Ray) Nader, Bernice (Gary) Newkirk, Ed (Tava) Eldridge; loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a US Army-Air Corps Veteran of WWII and member of American Legion Southway Post #144 and V.F.W. Post #1598. Eddie was a fine and hardworking man with old-fashoned values and an indomitable spirit that helped keep him going full speed ahead. He was a Starter, affectionately known as "Father Time" at Brookside Golf and Country Club for 27 years, up until the time of his death; he had many good friends there and will be missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2002 at Brookside Golf and Country Club, 2770 West Dublin-Granville Road (SR 161), Columbus, with a reception to follow. FILBIN Robert L. Filbin, age 85, of Orient, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2002. He was a tool and die maker for Jaeger Machine Co. for 17 years, and General Motors for 17 years. He is preceded in death by his son Robert L. Irwin and a brother Edward L. Filbin. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Margaret Filbin; sons, Frank C. (Millie) Irwin Sr., Reynoldsburg, Edward L. (Ruth), Orient, Mike A. (Barb), Orient, and Charles E. Filbin, Dallas, Tex.; daughters, Roberta N. (James) Hoptry, Upper Arlington, Janet L. (David) Smith, Ft. Worth, Tex., and Marty (Jay) Ware, Orient; brother, Richard Filbin, NY; 23 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Marty Irwin; brother-in-law, George M. Hoyt; sister-in-law, Maxine (Gene) Opphille. His family will receive friends Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg. FISHER Irene Bobo Fisher, age 93, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2002 at Friendship Village of Dublin. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Addie Elsie and Charles Henry Bobo; husband Edward M. Fisher; sister Edith Wiggans, brothers Howard and Carl Bobo and sister-in-law Ann Saprano. Irene is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Bessie and George Malloy of Athens, Oh., sisters, Marie Kirkpatrick of Fairmont, West Virginia and Dorothy L. Smith of Southgate, Ky.; nephews and nieces, James R. and Marilyn Fisher of Columbus, Oh., Dr. Robert D. and Jeanne Fisher of Valdosta, Ga. and Peggy Fogarty of Plainsville, Ga..
