CIPRIAN Eric Bradley Ciprian, age 31, of Hillsboro, Oreg. and formerly of Westerville, passed away January 11, 2002. Friends and family are invited to attend a LIVING MEMORIAL at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 26 ther. A tree will be planted along the west bank of Hoover Dam in Westerville at the duck pond just north of the parking lot at the top of the dam. This is the place where, as a child he, his cousin Matt and grandfather Brewer spent hours feeding ducks, laughing and enjoying the innocence of youth. Eric did indeed embody spirit and love. COOPER Lois Ellen Delaney Cooper, born November 5, 1950, in Washington, D.C. to Berdie Delaney Jones and the late Howard Lewis Delaney, departed this life Monday, May 20, 2002 at Grant Medical Center. Along with her mother, she leaves to mourn and cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband, Wayne Jerome Cooper (Coach); children, Charles Howard Cooper, San Francisco, CA and Andrea Renee Cooper, Columbus, OH; 2 brothers, Howard Lewis Delaney, Jr. (Ethel), Lanham, MD and Paul M. (Christine) Delaney, Seattle, WA; mother-in-law, Edna M. Russell, Toledo, OH; a host of nieces, nephews, many other caring relatives, friends and associates. Service of Memory Saturday 10 a.m. at The New Salem Baptist Church, 2956 Cleveland Ave. Pastor Donnetta Peaks, Church of Hope, officiating. CREPS Robert B. Creps, age 80, of Westerville, Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at home. Retired Fireman for DCSC. Preceded in death by parents John and Ruth Creps, brothers Mike and Raymond and sister Bernice. DUNNEGAN Edna J. Dunnegan, 71, Lancaster, Tuesday, May 21, 2002 in Lancaster. Born December 25, 1930 in Columbus, the daughter of the late Lester R. and Ida V. Thomas Walker. She was retired from Ohio Bell and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Eastern Star, VFW Auxiliary, AmVets Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. Survived by son, Larry (Michelle) Zechar, Dayton; daughters, Sharon Link, Worthington, Carolyn (Daniel) Nickovich, San Ramon, Calif., Taunya (Kevin) Rager, Columbus and Rhonda (Mel) Wehrle, Lancaster; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank (Neva) Walker, Sunbury and Leroy (Winnie) Walker, Westerville; sister, Glenna (Gordon) Kaylor, Gahanna. She was preceded in death by her husband John "Sarge" Dunnegan and brother Lawrence M. Walker. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster with Rev. Harold Sturm officiating. Burial of the urn will take place at a later date. EICKELBERG Elmer W. Eickelberg, age 90, of Columbus, formerly of Jackson, Oh., passed away Monday, May 20, 2002 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born December 19, 1911 near Cedar Falls, Iowa to the late William and Minnie (Gerhold) Eickelberg. Elmer received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Food Technology from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa. In 1937 until 1956 he worked for Fairmont Canning Company in Fairmont, Mn., pioneered in the develop of frozen food. From 1957 to 1968 was involved in establishing a Chun King Foods operation in Jackson, that is now Luiginos. In 1968 until 1972 he worked for R.J. Reynolds Foods of New York, N.Y., as a new products manager for RJR foods world-wide. After his retirement was active as a Director for Foundation Relations, Rio Grande College, President and Executive Director of Jackson Chamber of Commerce, and International Executive Service Corps, consulting positions in Malaysia, Portugal, Ecuador and Columbia. He was a very active member of the Jackson Rotary and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. In 1997 Elmer and his wife Emma moved to The Forum at Knightsbridge in Columbus. Survived by daughter, Ruth E. Thomas of Falls Church, Va. (married to John Thomas formerly of Jackson); son, John E. Eickelberg of Upper Arlington, Oh. (married to Sue Ellen Keller formerly of Jackson); grandchildren, John David Thomas of Annandale, Va., Mark Evan Thomas of Portland, Or. and Janeen Ellen Eickelberg of Nashville, Tn., a student at Vanderbilt. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Emma Hansen in 1998, parents and 1 sister Lucille Eickelberg Sheldon. Funeral service 1 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2002 in the EISNAUGLE-LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, 28 Harding Ave., Jackson, with Rev. Dale Lykins and Janie Karl officiating. FLETCH Lura Mae Fletch, age 93, of Westerville, Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at Manor Care, Westerville. Preceded in death by brothers Hozea, Dennis and Conard Williams, sisters Jessie Farver and Elsie Gallagher. Survived by loving husband of 57 years, Eddie; brother, Charles (Betty) Williams; sisters, Esther Bosley and Cloe Kernes; numerous nieces and nephews. GEDEON Eric J. Gedeon, age 36, Sunday, May 19, 2002 at OSU East Hospital. A Calif. native residing in Columbus since 1996. Employed with Charles Penzone in Dublin, Oh. Preceded in death by father Albert J. Gedeon. Survived by his significant other, P.J. Harry; mother, Susan Shields of Laytonville, Calif.; grandmother, Hattie Staley of Minneapolis, Minn.; numerous other relatives and friends. HAN Son Ok Han, age 84, of Columbus, died Wednesday, May 22, 2002. Preceded in death by her husband Dain Han. HARMER Stephen Wesley Harmer, age 35, of Winter Park, Fla., formerly of Columbus, died Sunday May 19, 2002. Graduate of Northland High School Class of 1984, and Southeast Career Center. Survived by parents, Richard and Pauline Harmer, Columbus; brothers, Douglas (Laurie) Harmer, Torrence, CA., David (Heidi) Harmer, Winter Park, FL.; sisters, Luanne (Greg) Hacker, Columbus, Paula (David) Lindsey, Brunswick, OH., and Lisa (Gary) Kennedy, Westerville; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by husband Raymond G. Haynes, foster son Michael Hawke, sisters Mary and Leona. Survived by children, Phyllis (Clyde) Perdue, Mary (Bill Wimberly) Ream, Amy (John Pope) Haynes, Nikia Haynes, Bob (Lynn) Haynes of Fla., Gary (Linda) Haynes, Michael (Marshann) Haynes and Robert Haynes; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; best friends, Myrtle Toy and Josephine Slaughter; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. HOLT James R. Holt, 79, died at Manor Care of Westerville, Monday, May 20, 2002. He served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific in WW II and also during the Korean War. He was a sales representative with Barry Equipment Co. for 26 years selling Caterpillar heavy construction equipment. He is survived by his loving wife, Charlene Davis Holt; daughters, Peggy Gross of Carrollton, TX and Pamela Higley and son-in-law, Bob Higley of Vermilion, OH; grandchildren, Aaron James Gross and Amanda Higley; sister, Irene Davis of Tyler, TX. He is preceded in death by parents Howard and Bessie Holt, brothers Howard Jr. and Robert, sister Marcella Jackson, son-in-law John Gross. HORNER Robert W. Horner, age 76, of Columbus, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2002 at Kobacker House. Veteran U.S. Marines where he received several Purple Hearts and The Congressional Metal of Honor in WW II. Retired candy broker. Survived by beloved wife, Mary (Ennis) Horner; sisters, Susie Young and Joan Weiss; son, Steve Horner; daughter, Bev (Rick) Drudy; grandchildren, Stephen Horner, Matt (Paula) Horner, Amanda (Kevin) Glawe, Rachel Drudy, David Drudy, Scott (Theresa) Peitsmeyer, Sherry (Stu) Ellis, John Ennis, Rae Ann Ennis and Jaron Ennis; great-grandson, Zachary Horner; step-children, Jerri (Bruce) Peitsmeyer, Steve (Martha) Ennis and Jeff (Valerie) Ennis. Robert was a warm giving person who continued to give at the end of his life by graciously donating his body to The Ohio State University Anatomical Gift Program. JACKMAN Xie Skaggs Jackman, died May 21, 2002. Widow of Lawrence Jackman. She is survived by daughter, Dixie Lee Covington of Baltimore, Md.; sons, Lawrence Jackman of St. Louis, Mo. and H. Delbert Jackman of Mankato, Minn.; granddaughters, Pamela Kruhm Joop, Laura Kruhm Showler, Cindy Kruhm Pape, Christina Kruhm Zaleski and Leah Jackman-Wheitner; grandsons, Eric Kruhm and Marcus Jackman. She was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and The Ohio State University. Taught in Upper Arlington High School from 1959-1979. Member of Boulevard Presbyterian Church from 1949 to 1994, where she served as Elder, Deacon, Presbyterian Women, Naomi Circle and various committees. She was a volunteer at Riverside Methodist Hospital and active in the community. Since moving to Charlestown Retirement Community in Baltimore she has been active volunteering at St. Agnes Hospital and Charlestown Care Center. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the Scholarship Fund of Boulevard Presbyterian Church, Columbus, Oh., The American Cancer Society or the Charlestown Scholarship Fund. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 26, at 10 a.m. at Boulevard Presbyterian Church, 1235 Northwest Blvd., Columbus, Oh.

JORDAN Roberta Jordan, age 75, departed this life on Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Born May 7, 1927 in Uniontown, Ala., the daughter of the late Curtis Files Sr. and Annie Mae Davis-Files. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir. Survived by daughters, Sarah Jordan of Westerville, Roberta Bridges, Juanita Newton, Joanne Ransom-Fisher (Hunter); sons, Louis and Bobby; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, all of Columbus. Also survived by 3 brothers; 5 sisters; nieces, nephews and other family members. Family will receive friends on Friday, May 24 from 7-9 p.m. at the Bethany Baptist Church, 959 Bulen Ave. Homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the church with Pastor A.W. KASSON Leo Harry Kasson Sr., age 69, of Hilliard, Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. Retired in 1988 from Rockwell International. U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Charter member of St. Brendan Catholic Church. Member of the American Legion Post #614 and the Redman Lodge. Preceded in death by parents Harry and Germain Kasson, brother David Kasson and brother-in-law Ray Keyser. Survived by loving wife of 48 years, Elizabeth (Keyser) Kasson; children, Leo (Janet) Kasson Jr. of Delaware, Kurt (Dianna) Kasson of Ft.
