TISE Priscilla M. Tise, age 83, of Hillsboro, Oh., died Tuesday, May 28, 2002 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro. She was born October 6, 1918 in Buhl, Idaho, the daughter of the late Jonah and Vada (Shaddy) Long. She was a Registered Nurse retiring from the Harding Hospital. She was a member of the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Shannon Tise of Hillsboro; 2 grandchildren, Avery Tise of Nelsonville and Justin Tise of Hillsboro; 3 sisters, Mary Lou Dillard of Springfield, Mo., Esther Bateman of Tampa, Fla. and Erma Hunt of Holly Hills, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles C. Tise in 1980 and by 2 brothers Edsel and Edwin Long. Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 1 at the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church. Pastor Beverly Warner will officiate. Burial will follow at the convenience of the family in the Union cemetery in Columbus. Friends will be received on Saturday following the Memorial Service at the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church. WADE Russell Wade, age 42, of Columbus, died Saturday, May 25, 2002 at Mount Carmel Medical Center. He was born August 17, 1959 in Columbus to the late Ed and Freeda Wade. Russell lived his entire life on Cypress Avenue. His sister, Judy Guffey also preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Wade; brother, Eddie (Jerri) Wade of Logan, OH; sister, Sheila (Tom) Kraus of Logan, OH; nephews, Jimmy (Teresa) Caldwell and Eddie Wade, Jr. all of Columbus; nieces, Michelle (Jason) Weiman of Grove City, Bobbi Jo (Brad) Finnearty of Logan, OH and Laura (Kenny) Turner of Columbus; his neighbor, Paul Stout and many good friends. Funeral service 1 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2002 at the RUTHERFORD-SHROYER FUNERAL HOME, 1278 West Broad Street, Columbus with Pastor Gilbert R. Jarrell officiating. WEAVER The Rev. Dr. Harold R. Weaver, 87, of West Bend, Wis., died Sunday, May 26, 2002 at the Cedar Lake Health Care Center in West Bend, Wis. He was born on January 5, 1915 in Hardtner, Kan. to the late Dr. George and Mary (MacMahon) Weaver. On June 9, 1940 he was united in marriage to Dorothy Longhenry in Columbus, Oh. His wife preceded him in death on December 12, 1996. He received his B.A. degree from Capital University, Columbus, Oh. in 1937. He then received his B.D. degree in 1941 from Drew University in New Jersey and earned his Ph.D. in 1950 after graduate studies in the Presbyterian College in Edinburgh, Scotland and Presbyterian Seminary in Cambridge University, England. He served during WW II as Chaplain in the U.S. Army 84th Combat Infantry Division in the European Theater. He dedicated his life to people as a pastor and minister, retiring after over 50 years of service. He served several churches in Ohio in Columbus, Cincinnati, Delaware and Findlay. In 1961 he chaired the Board of Missions of the Ohio Conference and traveled to mission areas including Egypt, India, Thailand, Burma, Sarawak, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and Cuba. In 1964 he moved to Wis. and served as senior minister at Wauwatosa United Methodist Chruch, First United Methodist Church in Madison and Fifth Ave. United Methodist Church in West Bend. He was also conference chairperson of the Board of Missions of the Wisconsin Methodist Conference. In 1967 he became one of the founders of the Milwaukee Theological Institute where he served as Dean, Professor and later President of the Board of Directors. Dr. Weaver also published over 100 articles throughout his career. He is survived by 2 children, Kathryn (fiance, Rick Benoit) Weaver of New Berlin, Wis. and James Weaver of Madison, Wis.; 3 grandchildren, Matt (Jennifer) Rynearson of West Allis, Wis., Kate Weaver and Eric Weaver, both of Madison, Wis.; brother, R. Paul (Bergie) Weaver of Naples, Fla.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters Georgina Broyles and Betty Roberts and 2 brothers David Weaver and Horace Weaver. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 31 at 3 p.m. at Fifth Ave. United Methodist Church, West Bend, Wis. with a reception to follow the service. Interment of the cremated remains will be in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend, Wis. Memorials are appreciated to a memorial fund that has been established at the Milwaukee Theological Institute, 2367 N. 4th St., Milwaukee, Wis. 53212 to continue Dr. Weaver's life-long work of helping people and serving Christ. BELLEAU Regina A. "Gina" Belleau, age 43, went to be with her Lord, Friday, May 31, 2002, she died at her home surrounded by her family. Gina's personality and over whelming admiration and love for the Lord, served as an inspiration for all. She was a member of the Full Armor of God Baptist Church and attended Pickerington High School. Gina is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Kelly; 3 children, Angie, Melissa and Brian all of the home. CUNNINGHAM John Kientz Cunningham, 77, of The Plains, Oh. died at his home Sunday, June 2, 2002. The son of Belford B. and Florence Kientz Cunningham, he was born October 2, 1924 in Glouster, Oh. His mother died seven days after his birth. He was raised in his grandparents' home by his Aunt Eva Kientz. He was a graduate of Glouster High School and Ohio University. During WW II he served in the North Atlantic Wing of the Air Transport Command, Army Air Force. In 1983 he retired from his position as superintendent of the Poston Power Plant where he has worked for 32 years. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Donna King Cunningham; son, John and Joan Cunningham of Athens; three daughters, Jan and Tom Hodson of Athens, Jean and Paul Wildeck of Amesville, and Jill Cunningham of Athens; grandchildren, Sarah and Ryan Ball, Chapel Hill, N.C., Jack Cunningham, and special friend, Rachel Moorehead, North Port, Fla., Brigid Cunningham, Columbus, Oh., Lauren Hodson, Athens, and Clare Wildeck, Amesville; brothers, Frank Cunningham of Denver, Colo., Richard Cunningham of Burbank, Ca.; and half-brother, Harper Cunningham, Livonia, Mich. DAGNALL Marie Louise Handel Dagnall, 80, of Westerville, died June 1, 2002 at St. Ann's Hospital following a short illness. She was born on November 11, 1921 in Orange, NJ. She graduated from New Jersey College for Women, Rutgers University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1943, and from New York University with a Master of Arts degree in 1950. She taught school in Verona, New Jersey before she was married . She moved to Westerville in 1964. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Herschel Dagnall, whom she married on July 11, 1952, and by her parents George Carl Lindemann and Marie Louise Handel Lindemann. She is survived by three children, Mrs. Robert (Marie Louise Handel Dagnall) Stehli, George Carl (Sherry) Dagnall and Mrs. Kenneth (Linda Ann Dagnall) Valentine. She is also survived by grandchildren, Paul Dagnall, Martin, Kelsey and Julie Stehli and Henry and Victoria Anna Valentine. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Westerville, Ohio, where she served as deacon, chaired the usher committee and was active in "Dine with Nine". She was past president of Westerville Chapter of the American Association of University Women and had been active in Annehurst Garden Club. She published several freelance magazine articles and enjoyed traveling, reading and spending time with her family. Calling hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, June 3 at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville, with services at the First Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2002. DECATUR Jo Anne Decatur, beloved wife of Donald Decatur, passed away Friday, May 31, 2002 at the age of 69, after 49 years of marriage. Preceded in death by parents Doris and Adrian Bryant and brother Ronald Bryant. She leaves sisters Lois Puttick and Linda Spray. Her children, Ellen Fern, Thomas Decatur, Nancy Decatur, and Amy Bednarek will all miss her greatly. Her love for her eight grandchildren cannot be measured, Meredith, Austin,and Madison Fern, Ben and Samantha Decatur, Sean Decatur, Bryant and Cassie Bednarek. In her career Jo Anne worked for the U.S.Treasury, JCPenney, Lazarus, and last of all for the State of Ohio. A graduate of West High School, Jo Anne treasured her friendships from those years. She will be sadly missed by a host of relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday June 4, 2002 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. where family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 3. FALK Lt. Col. Carl R. Falk, U.S.A.F., (Ret.), age 80, Saturday, June 1, 2002 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Lt. Col. Falk served our country in Europe in WW II and was a member of the Military Order of World Wars, Senior V.P. of the Armed Forces Community Relations Council, the 155th A.C.&W., the 37th Division Signal Co., National Sojourners, the American Legion, a life member of V.F.W. Post #2398, and Aladdin Shrine. He is preceded in death by his wife Evelyn. Survived by his son, Ronald (Trina) of Columbus; daughter, Linda (Robert) Roush of Zanesville; granddaughter, Darci Hales of Columbus; brother, Earl (Billie); beloved friend, Jean Johnson; and many nieces, nephews and friends. FRICK Robert L. Frick, age 71, of Columbus, died Sunday, June 2, 2002 at Saint Rita's Nursing Home. LONG Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Long, age 86, of Plain City, died Saturday, June 1, 2002 at Doctor's Hospital West. Born December 31, 1915 in Lilly Chapel. A retired farmer in Union County who was a hard worker, fantastic at raising children and very much enjoyed his time he had with his grandchildren. A charter member of the Heartland Union Freewill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents Elmer and Mattie Vandene (Finks) Long, 3 brothers and 4 sisters, son-in-law Richard "Dick" Wilcox. Survived by wife of 64 years, Lena Alice (Woodruff) Long, whom he married August 24, 1937 in Cadle Tabernacle, Indianapolis, Ind.; 16 children, Peggy Wilcox, Robert (Patty) Long, Jane (Joe) Berry, Tim (Pam) Long, all of Marysville, Patty (Gene) VanHoose, Phyllis (Joe) Calle, Frank (Jean) Long, John (Brenda) Long, Jack (Cindy) Long, Jerry (Debbie) Long, Tina Long, all of Plain City, Steve Long of Milford Center, Linda (Dick) Morris of West Jefferson, Bob (Barbara) Long of Irwin, Tom (Janet) Long of London, Alice (Charles) Renn of Glenn Ellyn, Ill.; 35 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
