ELLISON Charles F. Ellison, age 58, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2002. He was born in Los Angeles, Calif. in 1944 and moved to Oh. in 1993. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles F. and Louise J. Ellison and sister Rosemary Ellison. He was greatly loved by his family and is survived by his wife, Renate; daughters, Michelle Ellison and Eileen Hernandez; son, Charles B. Ellison; granddaughter, Adriana Hernandez; sisters, Patricia and Kathryn Ellison; nephew, Matthew Ellison; extended family, the Castaneda's, Jim and Sandy Miller, Vincent Wallace and Martin Dawson. His family will receive friends Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg, where his funeral will be Saturday at 9 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross cemetery.

ESHBAUGH Vest Lea Eshbaugh, age 84, of Westerville, Tuesday, September 3, 2002. Arrangements will be announced later by the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, Westerville.

FISCHER Robert C. "Bob" Fischer, age 72 of Columbus, passed away September 3, 2002. Decorated U.S. Air Force Veteran in the Korean Conflict. Bob was an avid fisherman and true outdoorsman who will be missed by all. Preceded in death by his parents John and Helen. Those left to cherish his memory, beloved wife, Norma; children, Debra, Robert Jr., Joan, Donna Center, and Richard (Rebecca) Campbell; grandchildren, Stephanie, Craig, and Becca; 1 great-grandchild; sister, Jeanne (Richard) Burke; brother, John (Peggy); relatives and special friends. Family and friends will gather for visiting from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2002 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where funeral service will begin at 8 p.m. following the visiting hours. Contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice, c/o Mt. FOREMAN John F. Foreman, 76, of Columbus, Oh., died Tuesday, September 3, 2002 at Sunrise on the Scioto in Columbus. He was a retired U.S. Postal Inspector in Columbus and a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II. Born January 15, 1926 in Point Pleasant, W.Va., he was the son of the late William W. and Ada (Plants) Foreman. He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers William O., Byron and Ellsworth Foreman. He is survived by a sister, Gladys L. Daugherty of Columbus, Oh. Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2002 at the CROW-HUSSELL FUNERAL HOME, Point Pleasant, W.Va. Burial will follow in the Greer cemetery, Point Pleasant. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the funeral service.

GIBSON Frank Gibson, age 37, of Columbus, Oh., retired Navy, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2002 at his residence. Survived by parents, Burl and Tina; brother, Steve (Sarah); nephew, Lane; niece, Bailey; several cousins, aunts and uncles. Service held Friday, September 6 at 1:30 p.m., Ohio Western Reserve, Rittman, Oh. Arrangements by ARBAUGH-PEARCE-GREENISEN FUNERAL HOME, 330-332-4401.

GILBERT Homer F. Gilbert, 90, of Columbus, died Tuesday Sept. 3, 2002 in Mt. Carmel Medical Center. Preceded in death by wives Mildred M. Gilbert (1979) and Mary E. Gilbert (1995). Survived by son, Charles (Virginia) Gilbert; step-children, Irene Malone, Eula Downey, Shirley (Charles) Downs, Patricia Soloky, Barbara Coleman and Clarence Pierce; grandchildren, Christine (Mike) Sottong and Lori (Chuck) Glauber; 3 great-grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. HAMILTON Eleanor Lee Cooper Hamilton, died peacefully on the morning of August 12, 2002 at Mayfair Village in Columbus due to the debilitating effects of Alzheimer's disease. She was born on August 28, 1919 in Uhrichsville, Oh., the first daughter of Ted and Brooks Stevens Cooper. She was preceded in death by her older brothers Ted Cooper of Steubenville and Stanley Cooper of Tucson, Ariz., younger sister Marjorie Lowe of Toronto, Oh. and son Mark of Chillicothe. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bob Hamilton; son, Bruce of Columbus; son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Nancy of Spring, Tex.; granddaughters, Brooks and Katie of Austin, Tex. Eleanor was a longtime resident of Steubenville-Wintersville, moving to Columbus in 1978. She was a Presbyterian by faith, and a Republican by principle. She was a former employee of the Ohio Bell System in Steubenville. The family expresses their appreciation of the caring by the Mayfair Village Nursing group who attended her and of Dr. Charles Tweel Jr. (you're a good man, Charlie Tweel). Funeral services were provided by RODMAN FUNERAL SERVICE. There will be a private, family-only service at Grandview cemetery in New Matamoras, Oh. In remembrance of this loving lady and mother, the family asks that those who care say a prayer of thanks that she is free of this terrible disease and is at peace with God.

HANEY Harry J. Haney, Jr., age 67, Wednesday, September 4, 2002 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. Graduate of St. Charles Preparatory School and The Ohio State University. Retired owner of Haney's Economy Drugs. Survived by wife, Suzanne Grimes Haney; children, H.J. (Carolyn), Patrick (Maureen), Anne (Rob) Whidden and Andrew (Mandy); grandsons, Joseph Ryan Haney and Jack Haney; sisters, Mary Platt, Margaret Brown and Bea Cassidy; brothers-in-law, Msgr. Kenneth Grimes and Colby (Georgia) Grimes; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E. ISACKE Adrienne M. Isacke, 53, of Columbus, Oh., died unexpectedly Monday, September 2, 2002 at her residence. She was born October 16, 1948 in Lafayette, IN. She was Library Director, Fairfield County District Library, Lancaster, Oh. since 1994. She graduated in 1966 from Cameron Co. HS, 1970 BA in English, St. Bonneventure Univ., 1973 MSLS Univ. of Kentucky. She was an avid reader and bridge player and was active in the German Village Assn. of Columbus, Ohio. Predeceased by mother Mary Beazell Isacke. Survived by father and step-mother, Robert and Edith Isacke; brothers, Robert Isacke Jr. of Pittsburgh, John Isacke of Yarmouth, Maine; sisters, Meg Whiting of Emporium, Pa., Beth Isacke Parent of Boulder, CO.; 5 nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday at THE STEVENS MORTUARY, INC. 1421 8th Avenue, Altoona, PA., where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, September 6, 2002. JACOBS Charlie "Brown" Jacobs, age 58, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2002. Survived by wife, Sharon; children, Charles Jacobs, Allen Jacobs, Ann Jacobs, Diane Jacobs and Shawn Chavis; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; parents, James and Mary Chavis; 9 brothers and sisters; lots of friends and fishing partners. Friends may call at O.R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St., Friday 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday 10:30 a.m. Rev. Tom Harmon officiating. Interment Evergreen cemetery.

JONES Kenneth T. Jones, age 35, of Grove City, born April 6, 1967. Graduate of Hamilton Township High School, Class of 1985. Served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. Devoted father and enjoyed coaching T-Ball for his daughter. He was a current employee at Georgia Pacific for the past 12 years. Preceded in death by mother Jeannette Lewis Barnes and step-mother Helen Jones. Survived by wife, Yvonna; daughters, Presley and Kennedi; parents, Gilbert and Ruth Jones; brothers, James Jones and Mike Bilger; sisters, Vicki Bilger and Carolyn Benson. Family will receive friends Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at GRAUMLICH & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Thursday 10 a.m. Dr. William L. Snider officiating. JORDAN Evelyn Howie Jordan, age 69. Service of memory Saturday 10 a.m., Love Zion Baptist Church, 1459 Madison Ave. Mrs. Jordan will lie in state Friday from 12-3 p.m. in the chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long St., where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Interment Green Lawn cemetery.

KEEFER Mary Ann Keefer, 66, died Tuesday, September 3, 2002 at Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware. Born December 25, 1935 in Delaware to Pauline G. (Hopper) and Robert E. Parker. Graduate St. Mary High School and Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing. Employed by Grady Memorial Hospital since 1956, she was the Administrative Director, Public Relations. Member St. Peter's Episcopal Church. Survived by husband, Jack, whom she married on November 24, 1956; children, Susanne (Steve) Schemine, John R. (Paula) Keefer, Karen (Chris) Frye, Mary Margaret (Bill) Mosca; grandchildren, Scott Schemine, Sam Frye, Matthew and Anne Elizabeth Mosca; brother, John E. (Jill) Parker; brothers-in-law, Mike (Sonny) Keefer and Jim (Marsha) Keefer; and nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday 5-8 p.m., ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME, Delaware. KIMBLE Donald Kimble, age 58, Saturday, August 31, 2002 at his residence. A U.S. Army Veteran, member of the Elks Franklin Lodge No. 203 and Big Three Motor Cycle Club. An over the road truck driver for 31 years. Preceded in death by parents Jerome and Dorothy Kimble. Survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Kimble; daughters, Karol Washington and Robin Worthington; grandmother, Helen McCary; brothers, Anthony Kimble and Jason Kimble; sisters, Kelly (Clarence) Harris and Denise (Don) Logan; step-daughters, Marlisha and Angela Garner; step-son, Romero Shackelford; sister-in-law, Margaret (Frank) Coles; special niece, Nicole (Stephen) Carter; 8 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends, Elder Willie Thomas and Evangelist Diane Thomas, Jerry and April Boykins, James and Dorothy Rhynehardt, Pastor Bob Duckens, Sr. and Elder Charles Clark. LINDSEY David H. Lindsey, age 60, Monday, September 2, 2002 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Born in Elyria, Oh. June 17, 1942, the son of Harry H. and MaryEllen (Smith) Lindsey, both of whom preceded him in death. Graduate of Keystone High School, LaGrange, Oh., Bowling Green State University and Xavier University. Retired after 30 years of teaching and coaching from Groveport Madison Local Schools. Member Asbury United Methodist Church South. Survived by wife, Carol Ebersole Lindsey; sons, Jason (Tammy), Canal Winchester, Trent (Michele) Bowling, Columbus; grandchildren, Jordan, Devon and Jacob; brother, Randolph (Debra), N.J. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 7, 2002, 11 a.m. at the Asbury United Methodist Church South, 4760 Winchester Pike, Columbus, Oh. 43232 with the Rev. David Leckrone officiating. LOWRY Clara Marie Lowry, age 88, Wednesday, September 4, 2002 in Port Orange, Fla. Born in New Straitsville, Oh. on April 10, 1914. Preceded in death by husband Wayne R. Lowry. Retired employee, State of Ohio Department of Insurance. Member of Maple Grove United Methodist Church. Survived by daughters, Vicki J. Rice and Linda S. Catalina; 3 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral Friday 11 a.m. at SOUTHWICK-GOOD FUNERAL CHAPEL, 3100 N. High St., where family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. LYNN A funeral service for Guy Lynn Jr., age 83, of Sebring, Fla., formerly of Hebron, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 6, 2002 at Hebron Christian Church with Rev. Jeff Gill officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Rest Memorial Estate where miltiary honors will be observed. Mr. Lynn, who was retired from The Timken Co., where he had been an electrical engineer, died September 2, 2002 at Integrated Health Services in Sebring, Fla. he was born October 18, 1918 in Mulberry Grove, Ill. to the late Guy Lynn Sr. and Lena Augusta (Elmore) Lynn. Mr. Lynn was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during WW II. He was a life member of VFW Post #1388 of Buckeye Lake and was a member of the 55 Plus Club and the ARC Club of Newark. He was also formerly employed by North American Rockwell for several years. Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia Ann and Don McClean Jr., Coal Grove, Oh.; son, Paul Edwin and Karen Lynn, Flower Mound, Tex.; grandson, Tim McClean; brother, Eldon Elvis Lynn, Mulberry Grove, Ill.; sister, Nina Irene Byxbe, Wichita, Kan. He was preceded in death by his wife Clara Louise (Price) Lynn on March 27, 2002. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 5 at HENDERSON, Van ATTA & JOHNSTON FUNERAL HOME, 285 E.
