MALLOY Dorothy J. Malloy, of Columbus, passed away September 5, 2002. Preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by her daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandsons of Ravenswood, W.Va.; a sister; many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. MANN Edith I. Mann, age 87, went to be with the Lord September 17, 2002 at her residence in Columbus. Born April 11, 1915. Member Brown Road Community Church. Preceded in death by husband Merrill O. METZLER Janet L. Metzler, 60, of Circleville, died September 16, 2002 at her residence. She was born September 20, 1941 in Ironton, the daughter of Lonnie and Bessie (Wineka) Willis. She retired from Wyn-Molded Plastics as an executive secretary and was also an accountant for Agler-Davidson Sporting Goods, was previously an officer of Banc Ohio in Columbus, a member of the Royalaires for 45 years and a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Tammi Metzler. She is survived by her husband, Gerald "Jerry" Metzler; son, Michael L. (Linda) Metzler of Circleville; grandchildren, Justin and Lindsay Metzler; sisters, Barbara (Leon) McGlone of Circleville, Glenda Willis and Carolyn Sue (Jim) Schmidt of Portsmouth. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2002 at the Good Shepherd Community Church on Obetz Rd. with Dr. William L. Snider, Rev. Joe Andrews and Rev. Claude Creel officiating. Burial will be in Forest cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the WELLMAN FUNERAL HOME, Circleville. MacKENZIE John Roderick MacKenzie, 100, of Lutheran Village Courtyards, Monday September 16, 2002. John was born 1902 in Houghton, Mich. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada with a degree in Electrical Engineering. John is survived by wife of 69 years, Glenna; son, John H. (Averil) MacKenzie; grandchildren, Cynthia (Scott) Hutson, Donna Pierson, John E. and David T. MacKenzie; great-grandchildren, MacKenzie and Garrett Hutson, Seth and Noah Pierson. Funeral service Thursday 1:30 p.m. at MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus St., Grove City. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Pastor Don Allman officiating. Interment Concord cemetery. McBRIDE Carolyn F. McBride, 56, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2002 at OSU East Hospital. McCUCH Alice McCuch, age 98, of Upper Arlington, died Monday, September 16, 2002 at her home. She was a longtime resident of Windber, PA, moving to Columbus in 1964. She was a member of Clinton Heights Lutheran Church. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, as well as an excellent cook. Her husband, Jim, preceded her in death in 1992, as did her daughter, Betty Williams in 1949. She is survived by her daughters, Marjorie Mitchell and Patricia (John) Wall; grandson, Chad Wall. McINTYRE Rilla McIntyre, passed away September 10, 2002 in Tucson, Arizona after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Ravenna, Ohio, Rilla graduated from the Laurel School in Cleveland, Ohio, and then attended Connecticut College where she graduated in 1942. She served the Columbus, Ohio community through many activities. She was President of the Childhood League, and was very active in the Junior League. She was a docent at the Columbus Art Gallery and loved art with great passion, visiting many museums all over the world. She gave this love of art to her family. She moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1974. She was a wonderful cook and gracious entertainer. She loved to travel with her beloved husband, Stuart McIntyre and her family. Rilla and Stuart had a blessed marriage of 28 years. She is survived by her husband, Stuart; her four children, Susan Ley, Linda Loving, William Loving III and Raymond Loving; and seven grandchildren, Carrie Jones, Matthew Aaronson, Joshua Aaronson, Emily Aaronson, Susanna Loving, Willie Loving and Allison Loving. Graveside services will be held at 12 p.m. September 23, 2002, at the Maple Grove cemetery in Ravenna. Donations may be given in lieu of flowers to the University of Arizona Foundation, Leukemia Research, 1515 N. McNULTY Edward L. McNulty, 78, of 201 N. 1st Ave., Iowa City, Iowa, died Monday, September 16, 2002 at the University of Iowa Hosptial and Clinics, Iowa City. Funeral service will be held Friday, September 20, 2002 at 11 a.m. at LENSING FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICE, Iowa City, Iowa. Burial will be at a later date. Mr. McNulty was born March 5, 1924 in Superior, Wis. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth "Betty" Whereatt on November 26, 1948. Mr. McNulty worked in hotel and beverage management with several hotel chains including Sheraton and Holiday Inn. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" McNulty; 1 son, James McNulty; 2 grandsons, Ted and Andrew McNulty, all of Iowa City.

PARTLOW Robert "Robin" Lee Partlow III, age 44, of Columbus, passed away Monday, September 16, 2002 at his residence. Robin played the drums in many local bands including the Spectrum and British Invasion and he graduated from Gahanna High, Class 1975. Thefamily would like to give a special thanks to neighbors that helped them on the day of Robert's death. Preceded in death by his father Robert Lee Partlow Sr., brother James Partlow, sister Marilyn (Josie) Disbennett, grandparents William (Mary) Partlow, Bertmam (Mamie) Best. Survived by daughter, Sarah L. (Alex) Torres of Fort Sill, Okla.; mother, Marilyn Partlow of Columbus; sisters, Brenda (Gary) Davis of Gahanna, Patricia (Tony) Simmering of Jackson, Pam Gillespie of Ashville; brothers, Bobby (Sandy) of Reynoldsburg, Chuck Gillespie of Dublin, Raymond (Madelyn) Partlow of Gahanna, Eddie (Jan) Partlow of Westerville; uncles, Bill Partlow of Whitehall, David Best of Mifflin Township; aunts, Barbara Leach of Columbus, Naida Partlow of Gahanna; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. PATTERSON Frank J. Patterson, age 50, of Westerville, died peacefully at his residence on September 17, 2002. He was a loving husband, proud father and successful business owner. Since 1995, Co-owner and President of Metro-Music, Inc., which is located on E. Main St. in Columbus. Parishioner of St. Paul Catholic Church for more than 25 years. Preceded in death by his mother Margaret Patterson. Survived by his wife of 31 years, Bonnie Patterson; sons, William Joseph (Alli) Patterson and Thomas Alan (Emily) Patterson; father, Robert C. Patterson; brother, Robert E. (Jane) Patterson; sisters, Charlene (Randy) Cordle, Marlene (Dan) Manter, Marguerite (Dusty) Lephart and Saundra (Ric) Woods; many nieces and nephews; special friend and business partner, Ed (Jenay) Whitney; and will be missed and remembered by many other loving friends. Pennington, who was killed in action in the Battle of the Bulge and is buried in the U.S. cemetery in Luxembourg. PERRY Robert E. "Bob" Perry Sr., age 86, of Upper Arlington, died Monday, September 16, 2002 peacefully at his home. Employed over 40 years as a Sales Engineer with DeVilbiss Co. headquartered in Toledo, Oh. Member of St. Agatha Men's Club, where he was a lector and Eucharistic minister for many years. Helped organize the Cursillo movement in Columbus. He was a life member of the Society of Mechanical Engineers, WW II Glider Pilots Assoc. and Gyro International. Survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Drs. Carol and Pete Hostetter, New Albany, OH, Karen and Col. PETERS Marsha K. Peters (nee: Dickinson), 58, died at St. Mary's Medical Center on Sunday, September 15, 2002. She was born in Columbus, Oh. on May 25, 1944, the daughter of the late Wendell and Vivian (nee: Vie) Dickinson. On June 11, 1965 she was united in marriage to Lee Peters, Jr. In 1966 they moved to Racine. Marsha devoted her life to making a home for her family. She was very involved with her children, and volunteered much of her time at Jefferson Lighthouse School, Wind Point Elementary, and Horlick High School. Marsha was an important part of many children's lives and always available to help anyone in need. She will be missed by her loving husband, Lee Jr.; their devoted children, Capt. Christina Peters, USMC, SSgt Lee Peters III, USMC and Catharine Peters; granddaughter, Kiana Mari Peters; brothers, Russell R. (Marilyn) Dickinson and W. Brian (Vickie) Dickinson; sister-in-law, Elke Dickinson; nieces and nephews, Erik, Karyn, Leslie, Brian, and Julia; aunts, Edith Rogers and Martha Taylor; mother-in-law, Trulye Peters; special friends, Karen Sabourin and Gail Winter; other relatives and friends.
