McCOY Nona G. McCoy, age 102, of New Lexington, Ohio, Saturday, September 14, 2002 at The Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville, Oh. Born April 9, 1900 in Morgan County. She had formerly worked at Gould Inc. She was a member of The Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of New Lexington, former member of the Main St. Church of Christ in McConnelsville. Also a former member of the Rebecca Lodge and the Royal Neighbors. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxillary and W.A.L.C.W. of the Lutheran church. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Richard Taylor of New Lexington; son and daughter-in-law, Donald "Gene" and Marjorie McCoy of Hilliard; brother, James Whitehouse of McConnelsville; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. PAINTER Edwin A. Painter Sr., age 79, of Worthington, died Saturday, September 14, 2002 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Survived by wife, Elizabeth Painter; son, Edwin A. Painter Jr. of Huntersville, NC.; daughter, Ann Savage of Litchfield Park, AZ.; grandchildren, Heather Perez, Holly Painter, Hilary Painter, Sarah Savage and Denton Savage; sister, Helen Smythers of Abingdon, VA. A native of Virginia, Mr. Painter received a B.S. in 1943 and a M.S. in 1947, both in engineering from Virginia Tech. He served during WWII as an officer with the Army Corp of Engineers in the South Pacific and retired from American Electric Power Co in 1987. He was a member of Janis Junction R.R. Club and Wally Byam Airstream Assoc. Memorial service 7 p.m., Monday, September 16, 2002 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High Street (1/2 mile South of I-270.) WARREN Robert S. Warren, 50, of Columbus, passed away Sept. 9, 2002 at Grant Hospital. Born April 9, 1952 in Long Island, N.Y. to the late Nathan J. and Barbara Stewart Warren. He was a war veteran. Preceded in death by wife Marilyn. Survived by daughter, Laurie (Jamie) Parks, Ashville; brother, Ned J. WOOD Mary Elizabeth Wood, daughter of the late Roy F. and Esther E. Overslaw was born on March 16, 1927. After a lengthy illness, Mary died on September 14, 2002 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, James L. Wood; daughter, Lisabeth L. "Tibbi" Ramsdell; son-in-law, Gary; and grandchildren, James Roy Herlan and Juliann Rebekah Herlan. Mary was the Librarian at the Indian Run Elementary School in Dublin from 1966 to 1985. She was a member of the Dublin Community Senior Citizens.
