BROHARD Paul E. Brohard, 74, of London, died Monday in the Arbors at London Nursing Home. He had worked as a service writer for Bob McDorman and Haydocy Pontiac before retiring in 1990. Survived by son, Joseph (Dorothy) Brohard; daughters, Paula (John) Weeter, all of London, Marcia (Donnie) Farquhar of Ft. Myers, Fla., Beth (Roger Griffin) Pennell and Jane (Bob) Weeter, all of London; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Wilma (Vern) Wortman of Camarillo, Calif.; several nieces and nephews. Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the EBERLE FUNERAL HOME, London with Rev. Gerald Poff officiating. Interment Evergreen cemetery, Coal Township, Jackson County at 3 p.m. Thursday. BROWN Forrest Brown, 77, of Ashley passed away September 15, 2002 at Grady Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 9, 1925 in Thornville, Ohio to the late Earl and Fannie Victoria (Neff) Brown. Mr. Brown proudly served his country during WW II in the South Pacific Conflict on the U.S.S. Pensacola, CA-24. He also was a life member of the V.F.W., a 32nd Degree Mason along with being a member for 50 years, and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Forrest is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Brown of Ashley; one daughter and her significant other, Michele Brown of Ashley and Kenny McGee of Columbus; three sisters, Geraldine Bock of Sunbury, Jahunita Ferguson of Sunbury, Ermma McDonald of Dunnellon, Florida; along with many nieces and nephews. Mr. Brown is preceded in death by parents, one sister Lucille Reed, and two brothers-in-law John Bock, Jr. and Albert Ferguson. There will be no visitation or service. BRYANT Mary E. Bryant, age 92, Monday, September 16, 2002 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Loved fishing and bingo. Preceded in death by husband Luther E. Bryant. Survived by son, Luther E. "Butch" Bryant Jr. of Clintonville; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and David Swaney of Hilliard; grandchildren, Lisa M. (Duane) Eyerman of Grove City, Deborah M. Bowe of Hollywood, Fla., David S. CHAMBERLIN Shirley Chamberlin, age 64, of Columbus, died Sunday, September 15, 2002 at Grant Hospital. A retired child care worker, she is survived by her daughters, Chris, Cathy, Cyndi (Ron) and Karen; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. CONSTANS Sara Ann Constans, age 87, died September 12, 2002 at the Naples Community Hospital Naples, Florida. Formerly of Columbus. She is preceded in death by her husband Fred W. in 1980. Survived by her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Barbara A. and Burt Heyder of Naples, Fl; grandsons, Richard D., Craig A., Gary L. and Thomas M Heyder and their wives; six great granddaughters and four great grandsons; very special friend, Ed Redlin of Naples, Fl. CROUCH Anna Louise Clark Crouch, age 72, of Worthington, died Saturday, September 14, 2002 at her home. DILLER Doris Leona Diller, age 93, Sunday, September 15, 2002, Mt. Carmel Hospital, Columbus, Oh. Member of Indianola Presbyterian Church, where she served as an Elder and Trustee. Professor Emeritus, Skidmore College, where she retired from teaching nursing in 1973. Graduate of Pandora High School. Received her Bachelor's Degree from Bluffton College, her Diploma in Nursing from The Johns Hopkins Hospital School Of Nursing; and her Master's Degree from Columbia University. She taught and supervised Surgical Nursing at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, before going to Skidmore College. She received 8 grants from The National Cancer Institute, and was the first nurse to conduct a study funded by The National Cancer Institute. She was co-author of a textbook on surgical nursing, and wrote several articles published by the American Journal Of Nursing. Her life story was featured in a book titled: "It Took Courage, Compassion, and Curiosity", published by The Oncology Nursing Society. On October 5, 2002, she will be honored at Bluffton College as Alumni Of The Year. Survived by nieces, Mrs. Eugene (Dorothy) Long of Bluffton, Oh., and Mrs. K. William (Catherine) Dickerson of Amherst, Oh.; 4 great nieces and nephews; and several great great nieces and nephews. EIS Carrie S. Eis, age 78, Sunday, September 15, 2002 at Franklin Woods Convalescent Home after a courageous battle with cancer. Retired from D.C.S.C. FRENCH George A. French, Jr., age 78, of Westerville, died peacefully at home Sunday, September 15, 2002 surrounded by his loved ones. Veteran U.S. Navy, WW II, retired Sergeant USAF and retired from U.S. Postal Service. FRESHOUR Mark A. Freshour, 39, of Portsmouth, died September 12, 2002. He was born June 2, 1963 in Columbus, the son of Karen Sue Gillispie. He was preceded in death by his grandparents David and Louise Gillispie, Paul and Helen Freshour. He is survived by his mother, Karen (John) Sorrick; sons, Michael and Brandon Freshour of Obetz; sisters, Dawn Freshour of Lancaster and Selena Freshour (Steve Griffith) of Columbus; uncles, Dale and Keith (Bernice) Gillispie; aunt, Patty Gillispie; brothers-in-law, Chris and Doug Buckler; father and mother-in-law, Donald and Phyllis Buckler of Obetz; mother of his kids, Donna Buckler of Obetz; nieces, Brittney, Heather, Amber, Kaley and Madison; nephew, Blake; and will be sadly missed by numerous other relatives and friends. GOLDFARB Gerald Goldfarb, of Reynoldsburg, died September 13, 2002. Preceded in death by parents Joe and Goldie Goldfarb, wife Bertha and sister Rita Lane. GRAHAM Eugene D. Graham, 72, died September 14, 2002 in Columbus, OH. Born in Akron, Oh. He was a graduate of North High School in Akron and a graduate of the University of Akron, where he served as president of his fraternity, Phi Delta Theta, and vice-president of the student council. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve. After 10 years in the automobile business, he entered into business as a Ford dealer in 1962, and established eight successful dealerships in Akron, Mentor, Dayton, Kent, Columbus, and Schenectady, NY. Gene was the owner and operator of Graham Ford, Columbus, Oh. Despite his many obligations in business and family life, he found time to commit an immense amount of time to community and professional service. He served nine years as member and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Akron University. In recognition of his lifelong commitment to the University, he was awarded an honorary doctoral degree. He served as the Ford National Dealer Council Chairman, and member of and President of the Board of Trustees of the Akron Automobile Association. He served as board member of the Catholic Service League, the Akron Better Business Bureau, the Phi Delta Theta Alumni Association, and the Akron Regional Developmental Board. He was preceded in death by his parents Rebecca J. and Lewis J. Graham, brothers James, Robert, and William Graham and his sister Gertrude. He was a beloved and steadfast husband to his wife of 46 years, Marie (Karg); and a loving parent to his daughters, Sue Seibert and Cindy (Jack) Freudeman; his son, Tim (Alexandra). He was the kind and loving grandfather of Brandon and Ryan Seibert, Kelly, Kate, and Allison Freudeman, and Theodore and Ian Graham. He leaves behind eight nieces, daughters of his late brothers, his brother-in-law, Rev. William Karg, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James F. and Joanne Karg. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2002 at 12Noon at St. Sebastian Catholic Church. Interment in the Holy Cross cemetery. GRANT Angela "China" Manning Grant, age 39, unexpectedly August 28, 2002. Angela was born in St. Cathrine, Jamaica and migrated to the U.S. in July of 1984 at the age of 20. She began her new life in the U.S.A. by attending school and becoming a successful accountant/secretary. Survived by mother, Monica Reid Bennett (step-father); father, Hardley Manning; fiance, Bernard Richards (J.B.); 6 brothers; 4 sisters; 2 nephews; 1 niece; 1 aunt; 4 uncles; a host of family and friends. HANNAHS James H. "Jim" Hannahs, age 80, a long-time resident of Upper Arlington, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 14, 2002. He was a graduate of Columbus North High School, Class of 1939 and continued actively in the Old North Hi Alumni Club. A Navy veteran of World War II, he served at Pearl Harbor during the South Pacific Theater and was a former member of Raymond Scott American Legion Post. The Columbus area continues to be blessed by Jim's incredible master carpenter talent that includes his skillful construction of over 50 homes, churches and commercial properties. Those skills continued in service to The Ohio State University until he

retired in 1990. Jim had a life-long love of music using his vocal talent in three church choirs and the popular stage production Vaud Villities for 38 years, beginning in 1959. Jim attended Riverside Bible Church, was active in the U.A. Senior Center and enjoyed traveling, gardening, playing softball and cheering on the OSU Buckeyes. Blessed by his unfailing love and devotion is Jim's family that includes his high school sweetheart and wife of over 60 years, Dottie (Limes) Hannahs; sons, James R. Hannahs and Gary W. Hannahs and fiancé, Kathy L. Burns; daughter, Beverly H. Gillespie and husband, Thomas E. Gillespie; grandchildren, Tricia Hannahs, Mike (Becca) Hannahs, Greg Hannahs, Scott Beall, Andy Beall, and Mike Gillespie; and nearly 100 other extended family members. The family will welcome friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2002, with Terry K. Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Please honor the family's request for no flowers.
