Jeremy Morris
Sycamore youth

Jeremy Morris, 15, of 336 Washington St., Sycamore, died early evening, Wednesday, March 10, 1999 near his residence in a snowmobile accident in Benton, OH. He was born Jan. 13, 1984 in Upper Sandusky to Carl A. Morris, hesurvives in Benton and I. Jane Cawley survives in Upper Sandusky.

Other survivors include: three sisters, Sarah J. Morris, and Katie A. Roth, both of Upper Sandusky, and Destiny R. Morris of Benton, OH.; maternal grandmother, Laura Cawley of Upper Sandusky; Paternal grandparents are David and Barbara Morris of Upper Sandusky.

Preceded in death was a brother, Jerrod J. Morris.

Jeremy was an eigth grader at Mohawk Jr. High, in Sycamore, prior to that he had attended Upper Sandusky Jr. High. He played soccer and bowled in both Sycamore and Upper Sandusky. He attended Beach Grove Church in Wyandot County. He also raced Motor Cross Motorcycles, member of the Sandusky Valley Rider Motorcycle Club in Tiffin and a member of the A.M.A.

The Rev. Derik Hines will officiate the 11 a.m., Monday, March 15, 1999 service at the Bringman-Clark & Co. Funeral Home. Burial will be at Old Mission cemetery, Upper Sandusky.

Visitation hours are from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday, March 14, 1999 at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the family of Jeremy Morris.

Pauline A. Voelzke
Tiffin native

Pauline A. Voelzke, 46, of County Rd. 42, Gibsonburg, died Thursday morning in M.C.O. Hospital in Toledo after a lengthy illness. She was born on June 22, 1952 in Tiffin to Daniel C. and Rita (Belmares) Garcia Sr. Her mother survives in Millersville. On July 25, she married Joseph L. Voelzke, and he survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Rick Torres of Woodville; a daughter, Michelle Del Toro of Gibsonburg; two sisters, Rose mary Koester of Bowling Green and Delia Marion of Rising Sun; four brothers, Leo Garcia of Clyde, Fred Garcia of Bradner and Daniel Garcia Jr. and John Garcia both of Millersville; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Mrs. Voelzke graduated from Lakota High School in 1970 and was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Millersville; The Ladies Rack and Cue, and the Gibsonburg Area Pool League.

Funeral services will be on Monday in St. Mary's Church in Millersville at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.

Visitation hours are from 7-9 p.m., Saturday, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Sunday at the Nopper-Veh Funeral Home, Gibsonburg. There will be a Wake service Sunday evening.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Andrew Lee Price
Retired farmer

Andrew Lee Price, 79, of 5349 E. Scipio TR 122, Republic, died at 7:55 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 1999, in Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.

He was born in Republic, June 15, 1919, to Clarence and Ella (Norris) Price. On Feb. 20, 1941, in St. Joseph Rectory, Tiffin, he married Alma L. Benner, who preceded him in death Aug. 13, 1993.

Survivors include: a niece, Elaine Blue of Old Fort; a nephew, Denver Price of Toledo; and cousins.

A brother, Clarence E. Price, also is deceased.

Mr. Price, a 1937 graduate of Republic High School, retired from dairy and grain farming, after farming most of his life. He also worked for the Seneca County Maintenance Department.

Graveside services are 2 p.m. today in Pleasant Ridge cemetery (Egbert), with the Rev. Gary A. Hicks officiating.

There will be no visitation. The Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association of Seneca County or a charity of the donor's choice.

Travis E. Jackson
Fostoria High School athlete

Travis E. Jackson, 15, 487 Columbus Ave., Fostoria, died at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 1999, in Fostoria Community Hospital.

He was born April 21, 1983, in Findlay, to Duane E. Jackson and Terry (Tate) Jackson Tucker, who survive in Fostoria.

Also surviving are his step-father, George S. Tucker Jr., Fostoria; two brothers, Torrence D. Jackson and Tremain H. Jackson of Fostoria; four sisters: Mrs. Josh (Theresa) Hamlin of Findlay, Annlisa M. Jackson, Taylor M. Tucker, Amanda E. Jackson of Fostoria; a step-brother, Cory L. Tucker, of Fostoria; two step-sisters, Porcia D. Tucker and Latoya B. Tucker, of Fostoria; maternal grandfather, Richard H. Tate of Fostoria; paternal grandparents, Julia and Irvin Jackson of Fostoria; paternal step-grandparents, George and Bernice Tucker Sr. of Fostoria.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Nancy M. Tate.

Mr. Jackson, a sophomore at Fostoria High School, was a member of the track, cross country and basketball teams. He also was a member of the Pride and Dare program, and the high school's Redman Review newspaper.

Steve Cain will officiate at the 1 p.m., Monday, March 15, 1999 service at the Mann-Hare Funeral Home with burial in Fountain cemetery, Fostoria.

Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 1999 at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Asthma Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Larry K. Damon
Fostoria resident

Larry K. Damon, 59, of West Fourth St., Fostoria, died Friday, March 12, 1999, at 12:02 p.m. in the Medical College of Ohio, Toledo. He was born August 26, 1939 in Toledo to Kenneth and Lela (Dysinger) Damon. On April 16, 1966, he married Charlotte 'Cherrie' Mitchell who died January 4, 1999.

Surviving are two aunts, Iona Jamison of California and Nadine Burnett of

Bellville;a cousin, Jean Jacobs of Toledo; nieces and nephews.

His parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Damon, a forklift operator at Excel Logistics in Fostoria, was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Fostoria. He graduated in 1958 from Fostoria High School and was a United States Army veteran.

Andrew Veres will officiate at the 11 a.m., Monday, March 15, 1999, services at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, with burial at Fountain cemetery in Fostoria.

Visitation is from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 1999 at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Seneca County Humane Society.

Margaret Mae Auxter
Area resident

Margaret Mae Auxter, 82, of SR 590, Burgoon, died early Friday afternoon, March 12, 1999, at Fremont Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Fort Seneca to John Jacob and Jeanette (Morgan) Lavo Aug. 10, 1916. On Nov. 5, 1935, she married Russell E. Auxter at Grace Lutheran Church. He died Dec. 4, 1987.

Survivors include: two sons, Larry and Mark Auxter, both of Fremont; three daughters, Christel Weixler of Louisville, Ky., Marcella Widmer of Gibsonburg, and Earlene Myers of Santa Barbara, Calif.; a sister, Bertha Martin of Banning, Calif.; a brother, Arthur Lavo of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, Ervin, Harold, Albert, Charles and Donald Lavo, and two sisters, Loretta Tackett and Kathryn Hade.

Mrs. Auxter was a graduate of Old Fort High School and was a homemaker and school custodian at Lakota East School for almost 18 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, the Altar Guild and Women's Home Missionary, as well as a Sunday school teacher for several years.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church, with visitation one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.

There will also be visitation 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Nopper-Karlovetz Mortuary.

Memorials may be made to the church or to Parkside Manor, Fremont.

William A. 'Bill' Downs
Kiwanis Manor resident

William A. "Bill" Downs, 70, of 7 W. Market St., died at 6:10 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 1999.

Funeral arrangements are tentatively scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Turner-Engle Funeral Home.

Stanley J. Bollenbacher
Bellevue farmer

Stanley J. Bollenbacher, 74, of SR 547, Bellevue, died Saturday, March 13, 1999, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk.

He was born Aug. 15, 1924, in Lyme Township to Carl and Ella (Heyman) Bollenbacher. He married Mary Meyer April 19, 1949, and she survives.

Also surviving are: three sons, Thomas of Monroeville, Gerald of Bellevue and Michael of Monclova; seven daughters, Joann Fell, Janis Slavic, Karen Crawford, Kaye Lucas, Susan Bollenbacher and Sharon Bollenbacher, all of Norwalk, and Patricia Bollenbacher of Brunswick; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Winona Bollenbacher.

A farmer, Mr. Bollenbacher was a 1942 graduate of Monroeville High School. He was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Bismark; the Monroeville Rod and Gun Club; Monroeville American Legion; Monroeville Knights of Columbus; and the Huron County Farm Bureau.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Monday at the Foos and Son Funeral Home, 311 W. Main St., Bellevue. A wake service will be at 8:30 p.m.

Prayers will be offered in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Tuesday followed by the Mass of Resurrection at St. Sebastian Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Sebastian cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the church.

Opal M. Gordon
Walker Street resident

Opal M. Gordon, 78, 165 Walker St., died Sunday, March 14, 1999, in Mercy Hospital of Tiffin. Arrangements are pending at the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home.

Christopher A. Pahl
Sister of Sycamore resident

Christopher A. Pahl, 34, of 3549 Karl Road, Columbus, died at 11:13 p.m. Friday, March 12, 1999, in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.

He was born in Tiffin, April 22, 1964, to Paul W. "Butch" and Marilyn K. (Roof) Pahl, who survive in rural Carey. He had never married .

Survivors also include: a brother, Bryan E. of Columbus; a sister, Kimberly R. of Sycamore; two step-sisters, April Caffee of Napoleon and Andrea Caffee of Toledo.

For the past five years, Mr. Pahl lived in Columbus and had been working at A.T. & T as custom service coordinator.

A member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Upper Sandusky, he graduated from Upper Sandusky High School in 1982; attended Bowling Green State University, Marion Technical College and then Florida State. He lived in Florida for 10 years and while living there worked at Berdines Department Store and Nation Bank, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

While living in Upper Sandusky he participated in several Star Theatre productions and enjoyed traveling, collecting antiques, music and the arts, yard work, collecting Lladro Porcelain and raising miniature Dashunds.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Peter Catholic Church, with the Rev. Thomas Ankenbrandt officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic cemetery, Salem Township, Wyandot County.

Friends may call 6-9 p.m. today at the Bringman-Clark and Company Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky, where a Biblical Wake service will be at 8:45 p.m.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Mildred Riddlebaugh Roelle
Mother of Republic resident

Mildred Irene (Rogers) Riddlebaugh Roelle, 88, formerly of 1219 E. Mansfield St., Bucyrus, died unexpectedly at 9:55 p.m. Friday, March 12, 1999, in Autumnwood Care Center.

Born in Bucyrus, April 14, 1910, to Irving Wayne and Frances Maude (Crum) Rogers, she first married Charles A. Riddlebaugh, Nov. 4, 1939. He preceded her in death July 26, 1950. Her second husband, Victor L. Roelle, whom she married Jan. 2, 1965, also preceded her in death March 20, 1985.

Surviving are: a son, Alan E. Riddlebaugh of Republic; and six grandchildren, Michele Camper of Lexington, Ky., Carla Jean and Edward Riddlebaugh and Donna Beeba, all of Columbus, Carrie Beckman of Kendelville, Ind. and Jennifer Riddlebaugh, also of Republic; and three great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were a son, Charles Riddlebaugh; two daughters, Frances and Irene Riddlebaugh; and two brothers, David C. and Donald W. Rogers.

Mrs. Roelle, a 1928 graduate of Bucyrus High School, had been employed as a secretary at Sauer Insurance Agency and prior to that as a secretary at the Bucyrus Telegraph Forum.

A life-long Bucyrus area resident, she was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and its Naomi Ruth Sunday School Class; Ladies of the 37th Division Veterans Association, where she was a 50-year member and Bucyrus Chapter 3 Order of Eastern Star.

The Rev. Don Neumann will conduct the 11 a.m. Wednesday service in the Wise Funeral Home, Bucyrus. Interment will be in Oakwood cemetery, Bucyrus.

Visitation at the funeral home will be 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials may be made to the Naomi-Ruth Class of St. Paul's Lutheran Church or a charity of the donor's choice, in care of the Wise Funeral Service, 129 W. Warren St., Bucyrus, Ohio 44820.

Jacy L. Weltle
Former Weltle Motors co-owner

Jacy L. Weltle, 92, died at 5:40 p.m. Friday, March 12, 1999, at her home at 12531 W. Hughes St., Fostoria.

She was born in Memphis, Mo., Oct. 30, 1906, to Samuel and Nydia May (Goldsberry) Grabowski. Her husband, Raymond C. Weltle, whom she married April 30, 1932, in Chicago, Ill., died July 15, 1978.

Survivors include: a brother, William F. Grabowski of Memphis, Mo.; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lou Young of Joplin, Mo. and Mrs. Merlin (Stella Fern) Sims of Phoenix, Ariz.

Also preceding her in death were: four brothers, Raymond L., Ernest, Charles and Julion Grabowski; and five sisters, Mrs. Jessie Sallenbach, Mrs. Fay Martin, Helen McCoy, Vada Mallet and Ada Grabowski.

Mrs. Weltle was the co-owner, with her husband, of Weltle Motors-American Motors Dealership (now Paul Cole Motors), Fostoria, and also head of its parts department. She was a member of the Fremont United Methodist Church.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria, with the Rev. Branson J. Hawkes officiating. Graveside services will be at noon Tuesday in Oakwood cemetery, Bucyrus.

Visitation at the funeral home is 6-8 p.m. today.

Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.

William A. "Bill" Downs, 70, died at 6:10 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 1999, at his residence at 7 W. Market St. A complete obituary will be in an ad in Tuesday's paper. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Turner-Engle Funeral Home, where visitation is 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
