Anna Margaret Dible
Former Carey homemaker
Anna Margaret Dible, 91, of the Karrington of Findlay, formerly of 242 W. Findlay St., Carey, died at 8:12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, in Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center, Findlay.
She was born in Marengo, Morrow County, Feb. 18, 1908, to Murry M. and Helen (Hurd) Pipes. On Sept. 14, 1929, she married
Joseph Ferdinand Dible, who preceded her in death Oct. 7, 1994.
Survivors include: six children, Joseph Ferdinand Dible Jr. of Worthington, Daniel Murray Dible of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Thomas (Judith Joann) Hebenstreit of Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Richard (Laurell Elizabeth) Frazer, Mrs. Richard (Ann Margaret) Jewett and Emily Kay Dible, all of Carey; 20 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A sister, Madalene Schmidt,is deceased.
Mrs. Dible, a homemaker, was formerly a member of the Order of Eastern Star Carey Chapter; Pythian Sister and Rebecca Lodge, both also formerly of Carey; Carey Woman's Club and Carey Garden Club.
She also belonged to the Antique Appreciation Club of Findlay, Fortnightly of Carey, Colonel Crawford Chapter of D.A.R., Grace United Methodist Church, Carey, where she was a 70 year member, and its W.S.C.S., where she was a charter member.
Mrs. Dible's ancestors came from Chester County in Wales, where she got her love of music and poetry, especially the bag pipes.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Grace United Methodist Church of Carey, with the Rev. James Sharrett officiating. Burial will be in Spring Grove cemetery, Carey.
Visitation at the Beach Funeral Home, Carey, will be 2-9 p.m. Tuesday, where D.A.R. services will be at 8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the church or Eaglewood Care Center, Carey, in Mrs. Dible's honor.
Mary C. Shiley
Sister of Tiffin resident
Mary C. Shiley, 84, of Hancock CR 254, Arcadia, died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, in St. Catherine's Care Center, Fostoria.
She was born June 10, 1915, in Seneca County, near Fostoria, to Clarence E. and Amelia (Mertel) Reinhard. On Oct. 19, 1935, in Fostoria, she married
Robert L. Shiley. He survives in rural Arcadia.
Other survivors include: two sons, Dennis L. Shiley of Fostoria and David L. Shiley of New Knoxville; a daughter, Mrs. David (Janet L.) Corbin of Arcadia; a brother, Harold Reinhard of Fostoria; four sisters, Bertha Barth of Upper Sandusky, Martha Phillips of Fostoria, Mrs. Howard (Joyce) Knight of Fremont and Mrs. Al (Roma) Sauber of Tiffin; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Eugene, Charles and LaVerne Reinhard; a sister, Ruth Reinhard; and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Shiley, a member of Enon Valley Presbyterian Church, Findlay, and its Women's Group, retired in 1995 as a wallpaper hanger in the Fostoria area, after 44 years.
The Rev. Connie Cherry and the Rev. Tom Everett will be the co-officiants at the 10:30 a.m. Thursday service in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria. Burial will be in Memory Gardens, near Arcadia.
Visitation at the funeral home will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.

Debra Risner-Winters
Homemaker/area residents' sister
Debra Risner-Winters, 43, of 1318 Fox St., Findlay, died at 4:22 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, in the Toledo Hospital.
She was born in Findlay, Nov. 7, 1955, to the late Clay and Polly (Puckett) Risner. Her first husband, Roger Smith, is deceased. She was formerly married
to Stephen Winters.
Survivors include: two sons, Chad Michael Risner and Evan Ryan Smith; her fiance, Paul Reak; four brothers, Alvin Risner of Fostoria, Ronald and James Risner, both of Alvada and Jack Risner of Lima; and five sisters, Mrs. John (Mary Ann) Allison of Carey, Ms. Janie Risner, Mrs. Faye Altman, Mrs. James (Janice) Hindall and Mrs. Garry (Judy) Cramner, all of Findlay.
Also preceding her in death were a brother, Ellis Risner and two sisters, Helen and Josephine Risner.
Mrs. Winters was a homemaker.
The Rev. Harold Bowling will be the officiant at the 11 a.m. Thursday service in the Stombaugh Memorial Funeral Home, Carey. Burial will be in Spring Grove cemetery, Carey.
Visitation at the funeral home is 7-9 p.m. today.

William Hudson Kitzler
Retired Wyandot County farmer
William Hudson Kitzler, 71, died at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, 1999, at his residence at 502 St. Mary's Ave., Carey.
He was born Oct. 5, 1928, in Carey, to Gerald F. Kitzler and Helen (Hudson) Mullholand. His mother survives in McCutchenville. His wife, Donna Lou (Wonder) Ritzler, whom he married
Oct. 19, 1948, in Greenup, Ky., also survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Mark W. and David A. Kitzler, both of Carey; a daughter, Mrs. Gregg (Joy I.) Orians of Carey; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Jim (Judy) Goeller of McCutchenville and Mrs. Matt (Pat) Fagan of rural Carey; and a brother, Elroy "Jack" Kitzler of Carey.
His father; and step-father, H.D. "Toot" Mullholand, also are deceased.
Mr. Kitzler, a retired Wyandot County farmer, also worked for Parker Brothers Paint Co. in McCutchenville.
A 1946 graduate of McCutchenville High School, he was a member of the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, Carey and the Senior League at Seneca Hills Golf Club and a former member of the Shrine Chorale.
He had served as a Crawford Township Trustee for 16 years.
A Mass of Resurrection will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, with the Rev. Benjamin Knopp and the Rev. James Sharrett as co-celebrants. Interment will be in Spring Grove cemetery, Carey.
Visitation at the Stombaugh Memorial Funeral Home, Carey, will be 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, where a vigil service will be at 8:30 p.m.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
William E. Lucas
National Machinery retiree
Memorial services for William E. Lucas, 75, 58 Siesta Drive, Apt. C, who died at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 1999, in the Ohio State University Clinic, Columbus, of injuries sustained in an auto accident, will be at noon Saturday, in St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Gail Angel will officiate.
Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Greenlawn cemetery, where military graveside services will be conducted.
Memorials may be made to the church. The Turner-Engle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Kathleen Marie Arbogast
Seneca County native
Kathleen Marie "Katie" Arbogast, 67, of McComb, died at 8:55 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, in Blakley Care Center, North Baltimore, where she had been a patient for five years.
She was born in Seneca County, Nov. 27, 1931, to the late Alphonse and Anna Wilhelm. On June 18, 1955, in Tiffin, she married
Marion V. Arbogast. He survives.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Diane Girdler and Mrs. Matt (Nancy) Dysinger, both of Findlay, Roxane Ferrell of Columbus and Mrs. Dan (Sharon) George of Germantown; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Mervin Wilhelm of Bloomville and Marvin Wilhelm of North Fairfield; and a sister, Mrs. Paul (Ruth) Staley of Forest.
A daughter, Norma Mae Arbogast, also is deceased.
Mrs. Arbogast, a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church and the Critique Club of McComb, had been employed as a nurse aide at Winebrenner Health Care Center, Findlay 1977-89.
A funeral Mass will be at 2 p.m. Friday in St. Michael's Catholic Church, downtown Findlay, with the Rev. Ronald Schock as celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation at the Hartley Funeral Home, McComb, is 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today, where a scripture service will be at 8:30 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the church, McComb Library or the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
Billy R. King
Basic Inc. retiree
Billy R. King, 73, died at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, at his home at TR 1002, Amsden.
He was born in Bloomdale June 26, 1926, to Orvil and Orpha (Barringer) King. His wife, Bernadine "Marge" (Reeder) King, whom he married
May 1, 1946, in Portland, Ind., survives in Amsden.
Survivors include: two sons, Terry King of Amsden and Jerry King of Rising Sun; two daughters, Mrs. Barry (Nancy) Koepfer of Amsden and Mrs. Dan (Rose Mary) Hale of Mount Victory; three sisters, Glada Gangwer, Marlene Sallisbury and Jean Shaw, all of Fostoria.
Also preceding him in death were a son, Arnold King; and four brothers, Robert, John, Keith and Dean King.
Mr. King, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, retired from Basic Inc., Maple Grove, in 1973, as a maintenance person, with more than 27 years of service.
He was a member of Amsden United Methodist Church and the Basic Quarter Century Club.
The Rev. Gary Staats will be the officiant at the 11 a.m. Saturday service in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria. Interment will be in Trinity cemetery, near Rising Sun.
Visitation at the funeral home will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday.

William 'Bill' F. Emerine
Retired office manager
William "Bill" F. Emerine, 58, of 1027 S. Blanchard St., Findlay, died at 6:25 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, in Fox Run Manor. He was born Aug. 1, 1941, to Herman Emerine, deceased, and Josephine "Mickey" Armbruster-Corbin, who survives in Wharton. On Jan. 7, 1974, he married
Linda Hektor. She survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Derrick Emerine of Findlay; two sisters, Mrs. Neil (Diane) McAlexander of Findlay and Mrs. John (Joyce) Butcher of Nashville, Tenn.
Preceding him in death were two brothers, John Emerine and an infant, Herman Francis Emerine.
Mr. Emerine was a retired office manager and member of the Four Square Gospel Church in Findlay.
The Rev. Wayne Baldridge will officiate the 11 a.m. Saturday service at Stombaugh Memorial Funeral Home, Carey. Burial will be at St. Mary's cemetery in Carey.
Visitation hours will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

James L. Ackerman
Fremont resident
James L. Ackerman, 66, of South River Road, Fremont, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, at the Autumnwood Care Center. He was born Dec. 14, 1932, to Williams and Estella (Bundschuh) Ackerman, both deceased. On Aug. 22, 1959, he married
Doris Immel in Gibsonburg. She survives in Fremont.
Other survivors include: two sons, Douglas J. Ackerman of Torrance, Calif., and Daniel Ackerman of Herndon, Va.; two daughters, Terry S. Jones of Lebanon and Amy R. Bayless of Columbus; four brothers, John, Robert and Thomas Ackerman, all of Fremont, and Paul Ackerman of Genoa; four sisters, Norma Ackerman, Mary Ackerman and Eva Eberly, all of Fremont, and Hildagard Dempsey of Oak Hill, W.Va.; and five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were: Roseline M. Ackerman and Rita E. Ackerman.
Mr. Ackerman was a 1951 St. Joseph High School graduate and a U.S. Army veteran, serving 1954-1957. He was employed as a warehouse supervisor in Chicago for 11 years before moving back to Fremont in 1970. He then worked as a construction laborer for many area construction companies out of Local 480.
The services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at Oakwood cemetery, Fremont.
Visitation hours are 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, with vigil at 8:30, at the Wonderly-Horvath Funeral Home, Fremont.
Memorials may be made to Sandusky County Alzheimer's or St. Joseph Church or Diabetic Association.
A.A. 'Ollie' Daniel
Resident of Attica
Aloysius Anthony "Ollie" Daniel, 82, of 5111 SR 4 South, Attica, died at 9:20 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, at Hillside Acres Nursing Home, Willard. He was born March 16, 1917, in Willard, to the late Benjamin and Cecilia (Daniel) Daniel. He was married
Oct. 17, 1944, to Valeria Marie (Brown) Daniel, who survives.
Additional survivors include: two sons, Richard Daniel of Attica and Tom Daniel of Republic; a daughter, Norma King of Attica; a brother, Florian "Babe" Daniel of Bellevue; a sister, Elizabeth Stockmaster of Bellevue; and seven grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were a son, Dennis Daniel; and three brothers, Leo, Paul and Joe Daniel.
Mr. Daniel was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II and had received a Purple Heart. He then drove truck for Standard Oil and B&W Pallet in Attica. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, K of C, of which he was a past Grand Knight, Holy Name, and the Sts. Peter and Paul cemetery Board. He was an avid fisherman, card player and enjoyed watching softball at the park.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with The Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will be in the Sts. Peter and Paul cemetery, Attica.
Visitation hours will be 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Home, Attica, where a Rosary service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials may be made to the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church for Masses, or to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.
Eugene E. Wilch
Tiffin resident's father
Eugene E. Wilch, 83, of South Main Street, Fostoria, was killed at 12:25 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, at the CSX railroad crossing in Fostoria.
He was born April 22, 1916, in Jenera to Edward and Adeline (Heldman) Wilch. He was raised by his father and stepmother, Lucinda Featheringill.
He was first married
to Ruth Lanagan; they were divorced. He married
Dorothy L. Crawford Sept. 22, 1948, in Bowling Green. She died July 17, 1996.
Surviving are: a son, Edward Wilch of Fostoria; three daughters, Patricia S. Westfall and Carol A. Wilch, both of Georgia, and Mrs. Paul (Linda) Tiell of Tiffin; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Charles E. Wilch; and a brother, Gerald Wilch.
He was a 1934 graduate of Arlington High School; a member of the Hope Lutheran Church in Fostoria; retired in 1979 from Ex-cello Co.; a maintenance person at Hope Lutheran Church; worked at Duffield Motors in Fostoria; and was a Greyhound bus driver.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria with the Rev. Richard E. Hofmann officiating. Burial will be in Knoll Crest cemetery near Arcadia.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Richard C. Feeley
Retired owner Feeley Excavating
Richard C. Feeley, 77, died at about 5 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at his residence at 329 W. Church St., Upper Sandusky.
He was born Jan. 10, 1922, in Wyandot County, to Noble C. and Mary Catherine (Frank) Feeley. On Sept. 6, 1942, in Ashland, Ky., he married
Virginia M. Dible, who survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Jack Thomas Feeley of Upper Sandusky; two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Donna Jean) Wynkoop and Mrs. Kenny (Joyce Ellen) Thiel, both of Upper Sandusky; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Brown of Upper Sandusky.
A brother, John Feeley, is deceased.
Mr. Feeley, a World War II U.S. Army Air Corp veteran, retired from Feeley Excavating, where he was the owner/operator. He also worked part-time as a crane operator for McCarthy Quarry 1961-84.
A private pilot, he was a member of American Legion Post 225, where he served as past commander and AMVETS 777, both of Upper Sandusky; Carey Eagles Lodge, the International Operating Engineers and the A.O.P.A.
He enjoyed flying and sharing time at the family owned recreation area, known as "Nob."
At the request of the deceased all services will be private.
