Carol J. Angelbeck Webb
Former Kimmel Cleaners employee
Carol J. Angelbeck Webb, 62, formerly of 272 Wentz St., died at 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at her daughter's residence in Tiffin.
She was born in Tiffin, Jan. 19, 1938, to the late Carl and Viola E. (Taylor) Runion. She married
Dale C. Angelbeck, Dec. 28, 1957, in Angola, Ind., and they were later divorced. He survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include: a son, Dennis D. Angelbeck of Green Springs; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Teresa) Florence, Mrs. Charles (Cindy) Fitch and Mrs. Richard (Beverly) Yates, all of Tiffin; four sisters, Ida Mae Bell, Mrs. Cecil (Alice) Fitch, Mrs. Garland (Gloria) Fitch and Mrs. Haskel (Rita) Fitch, all of Tiffin; three brothers, Gerald, Richard and Edward Runion, all of Tiffin; and seven grandchildren.
Four brothers, Lyle, Dale, Carl and Kenneth Runion; and a grandson, Thomas C. Florence, also are deceased.
Mrs. Webb, who had attended the Tiffin City Schools, had been employed at Kimmel Cleaners.
An avid bowler and bingo player, she was a member of the First English Lutheran Church and the Women of the Moose.
The Rev. Al Wilkes will be the officiant at the 11 a.m. Friday service in the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home. Interment will be in Seneca Memory Gardens.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Community Hospice Care of Tiffin.
Emil C. Kirian
Kirian's Marathon owner/operator
Emil C. Kirian, 80, 190 St. Francis Ave., died at 7:05 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2000, in St. Francis Home.
He was born May 20, 1919, in Frenchtown, to Frank J. and Matilda (Welter) Kirian. His wife, Helen M. (Paulus) Kirian, whom he married
Sept. 23, 1939, in St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, survives.
Survivors also include: three sons, John Kirian of Tiffin, Ronald Kirian of North Raleigh, N.C. and Dennis Kirian of Toledo; two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Kathleen) Baker of Toledo and Mrs. Roger (Patricia) Dariano of Tiffin; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Three sisters, Ethel Reinhart, Genevieve Schultz and Marianne Neiderkohr; and twin brothers, Andrew and Cyril, also are deceased.
Mr. Kirian, an avid golfer and woodworker, was the owner/operator of Kirian's Marathon for 30 years.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 608.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Frank A. Murd and the Rev. Richard Dunn, as concelebrants. The rosary will be recited at the church at 9:45 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday at the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home, where a Christian wake service will be at 8:45 p.m.
Memorials may be made to St. Francis Home's Alzheimer Center, Community Hospice Care or the Seneca County Dialysis Ltd.
William Tyler Hines
Stillborn child
William Tyler Hines, of 402 W. Main St., New Washington, was stillborn at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2000, at Galion Community Hospital.
The parents, Max Wilson of Republic and April Marie Hines of New Washington, survive.
Other survivors include: maternal grandparents, Benny and Margie Hines of New Washington; paternal grandparents, Tim and Charlene Wilson of Republic; great-grandmothers, Bertha Kanney and Rosemary Hines, both of New Washington, and Dorothy Wilson of Tiffin.
Family graveside services will be Monday with the Rev. Robert Dentinger officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard's cemetery.
Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Vera Belle (Hissong) Arthur
Resident of Vickery
Vera Belle Hissong Arthur, 86, died Thursday, April 13, 2000, at Bellevue Hospital. She was born March 28, 1914, to Joseph Edward and Jessie Belle (Brennstuhl) Hissong. In June 1955 she married
Jack McDaniel. He is deceased. She married
Denver Arthur in 1958. He also is deceased.
Preceding her in death were a daughter, Jackie Lou McDaniel in June 1964; four brothers, Ermine, Carl, Earl and Elwood Hissong; and two half sisters, Lucille Eis and Viola Levers.
Mrs. Arthur graduated from Ashland High School in 1932 and graduated Office Training School in Columbus in 1933. She worked as a secretary for three attorneys in Columbus. She was a member of the Vickery Methodist Church; Vickery Townsend Twp. Fire Department; was a former leader of the Girl Scouts in Columbus; and was a talented seamstress, enjoying showing her work in nursing homes.
The Rev. Ronald Gerlach will officiate the 11 a.m. Monday service at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, Clyde. Burial will be at Castalia cemetery.
Visitation hours will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Townsend Twp. Fire Department or the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Ruth E. Schumacher
Resident of Attica
Ruth E. Schumacher, 71, of Attica, died Wednesday, April 12, 2000, unexpectedly in their winter home in Bradenton, Fla. She was born July 31, 1928, in Columbus Grove. She married
Paul J. Schumacher Aug. 2, 1947, in Columbus Grove. She was the oldest child of Nolan and Leah Barto.
She is survived by her husband and their 12 children: Carol Southfield of Newtown, Pa., Helen (Beamer) Holthaus of Wapakoneta, Jim Schumacher of Attica, Dennis Schumacher of Great Mills, Md., Bernice Miller of Ashland, Anita Schumacher of Jacksonville, Fla., Karla Coats of Willard; Jay Schumacher of Moore, Okla., Bill Schumacher of Bradenton, Fla., Bob Schumacher of Attica, Sandi Blunt of Gahanna; and Ed Schumacher of Las Vegas, Nev.; 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; five sisters, Betty Metzger, Joyce Core, Dot Humphrey and Jane Edwards, all of Columbus Grove, and Nancy Schafer of Elida; and a brother, Gary of Columbus Grove.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Sam Barto.
Mrs. Schumacher was a homemaker, avid bingo player and active in crafts. She belonged to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and its Rosary Altar Society of Attica, Garden Club, and the Neighborhood Club of Attica.
Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Secor Funeral Home, 202 Maple St., Willard. The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Attica with the Father Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will be at the Attica cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Seneca East Public Library.

Peter A. DiCesare, 75, of 111 W. Jones St. Fostoria, died at 1:50 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2000, at St. Lukes Memorial Hospital in Maumee. Arrangements are pending at the Hoening Funeral Home in Fostoria.
Bernard C. Wise

Bernard C. Wise, 78, of Tiffin, died at 10:55 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2000, at his daughter's residence in Palm Springs, Fla. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 11 a.m. April 25 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation and further arrangements are pending at the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home.
Beth Taylor
Bellevue resident
Beth Taylor, 81, formerly of Sandusky CR 308, Bellevue, and recently a resident of the Bellevue Care Center, died Saturday, April 15, 2000, in the Bellevue Hospital.
She was born Oct. 13, 1918, in Monroeville, to Ambrose and Mae (Bailey) Stimson. On Jan. 17, 1955, in Cleveland, she married
Edward Taylor, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are a brother, Howard Stimson of North Monroeville, two nieces and a nephew.
Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Garner, Harland and Vance Stimson; two sisters, Fern and Erma Stimson; and a nephew.
Mrs. Taylor, a 1937 graduate of Monroeville High School, had worked as a baker. She was a member of the Bellevue Church of Christ.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Bellevue Church of Christ, 1070 Castalia St. Burial will follow in Riverside cemetery, Monroeville.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Foos and Son Funeral Home, Bellevue.
Memorials may be made to the church.
Katelyn Rose Stansbery
5-week old daughter
Katelyn Rose Stansbery, 5-week, 4-day-old daughter of Troy A. and Beth A. (Farnic) Stansbery of 15480 CH 108, Upper Sandusky, died at 3:10 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2000, in The Toledo Hospital.
She was born March 5, 2000, in Toledo.
Survivors include her parents; a sibling, Chadwick A. Walkins of Upper Sandusky; maternal grandparents, Dan and Darlene Foreman and Joe and Deb Farnic, all of Kenton; paternal grandparents, Randall and Bonnie Snowdan of Upper Sandusky and Dennis and Janet Stansbery of Harpster; paternal great-grandparents, Clarence and Pat Coffman and Robert Snowden, all of Upper Sandusky; and maternal great-grandparents, Bob and Janet Gault of Kenton, Paul and Dianna Robinson of Marion and Pat Mowery of Forest.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Oak Hill cemetery, Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. Tom Dearth officiating.

Carol Ann Roth
Architectural office secretary/treasurer
Carol Ann Roth, 59, of Findlay, died Saturday, April 15, 2000, following a battle with cancer.
She was born in Akron, Oct. 13, 1940, to Claire and Orene (Ford) Kibler, who survive in Akron. Her husband of 39 years, David J. Roth, also survives.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. Charles P. (Tamela A.) Miller of Plano, Texas; two sons, Timothy D. and Stephen E. Roth, both of Findlay; eight grandchildren; and a brother, Lee Kibler of Florida.
Mrs. Roth had been employed as secretary and treasurer of her husband's architectural office, The Architect, for the past 24 years.
An active member of the Findlay Order of Eastern Star 23, she served as Ada, Ruth, Esther and Elctra and as past president and was the current treasurer of the Findlay Social Order of Beauceant of the Assembly 252.
She also was an active member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she and her husband worshipped for the past 30 years; she was a member of the Altar Guild, communion bread bakers, Good News Sunday School class and served as an offering counter with her husband for a number of years.
A 1958 graduate of North High School, Akron, she was a four-year member of the marching band and a three-year member of the French Club. She attended Kent State University, where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Findlay, with the Rev. Mark E. Brodbeck and Pastor Don Bridinger officiating. Graveside services will follow in Knollcrest cemetery, east of Findlay.
Visitation is 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay, where Eastern Star and Social Order of the Beauceant services will be at 8:30 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the church, Bridge Home Health and Hospice, Cancer Patient Services and the Knight's Templar Eye Foundation.
Gerald L. Huston
General Electric retiree
Gerald L. Huston, 77, died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, April 16, 2000, at his home at 2 Teakwood Drive.
He was born March 26, 1923, in Kenton, to Harry C. and MIldred (Lytle) Huston. On June 3, 1949, in the Second United Church of Christ, Tiffin, he married
his wife of 50 years, Mina Belle (Day) Huston, who survives.
Survivors also include: two sons, Harry "Bud" Huston of Marion and Steven Huston of Tiffin; a daughter, Cynthia Feasel of Tiffin; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a step-brother, James Gockerman of Bradenton, Fla.
A great-grandchild and a brother, Harry Arnold Huston, also are deceased.
Mr. Huston, a World War II U.S. Army Corp of Engineers veteran, retired as a machinist from General Electric.
A 1940 graduate of Fostoria High School, he was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, its Kum Double Class,Tiffin VFW and Eagles and the Senior Citizen TRIAD, where he served as past officer.
He was formerly a reserve officer for the Seneca County Sheriff's Office and Tiffin Police Department and served as a Tiffin E.M.T.
The Rev. Gail Angel will be the officiant at the 10:30 a.m. Tuesday service in the Turner-Engle Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn cemetery, where military graveside services will be conducted by the United Veterans Council.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and an hour before the services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Community Hospice Care.
B. Louise Cook
Fostoria homemaker
B. Louise Cook, 79, of West Ridge Drive, Fostoria, died at 2:32 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2000, in Fostoria Community Hospital.
She was born Dec. 4, 1920, in Harrisburg, Ill., to Frank and Lydia (Conover) Wilgus. On June 2, 1939, in West Frankfort, Ill., she married
James V. Cook, who survives in Fostoria.
Other survivors include: two sons, Alan B. and Alvin B. Cook, both of Columbus; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Carolyn J.) McMaster of Perrysburg; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A sister, Mary Jane Rice, and a grandchild also are deceased.
Mrs. Cook, a homemaker, was a member of the Seymour, Ind., First Church of the Nazarene; former member of the Columbus First Church of the Nazarene and attended the Fostoria First Church of the Nazarene.
She also was a member of the Nazarene World Missionary, served as a Sunday School teacher and sang in the church choir for many years.
A 1938 graduate of Harrisburg, Ill., High School, she also was a soloist and sang with her husband in many churches throughout the country.
She worked as a seamstress.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the First Church of the Nazarene, Fostoria, with the Rev. Russell Gumm officiating. Burial will be in Union cemetery, Columbus, where the Rev. Ernest Rhoads will conduct an interment service.
Visitation will be 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria.
