Ruby B. Klopfenstein
(1926- 2004)

ARCHBOLD - Ruby B. Klopfenstein, 78, of Archbold, died Monday, Aug. 23, 2004, at Fulton Manor in Wauseon.
Born June 3, 1926, at Fulton County, to Maudy (Hephner) and Floyd Kuhn, she married Maurice Klopfenstein and he preceded her in death.
A life-long Fulton County area resident, she retired from the Hayes Albion - 50 Corporation in 1951.
Surviving is a sister, Betty Kuhn of Fayette, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, L.C. Kuhn. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Pleasant View Union Cemetery in Fayette with Pastor Larry Snow to officiate. There will be no visitation. Local arrangements were entrusted to Eagle Funeral Home, Fayette.

Stanley R. Gorom Sr.
(1916- 2004)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Stanley R. Gorom Sr., 88, of Fort Wayne and formerly of Bryan, Ohio, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004, at Heritage Park H.C.
Born March 22, 1916, at Buffalo, N.Y., he married Martha Marie Lovetinsky and she preceded him in death on April 11, 1990. They had been married for 51 years.
An Army veteran, he was a stationary engineer for the city of Bryan for 35 years, retiring in 1981.
He was a member of the Lick Creek Church of the Brethren, Bryan.
Surviving are two sons, Stanley R. Gorom Jr. of Fort Wayne and Elwood F. Gorom of Seattle, Wash.; three grandchildren, Stanley R. Gorom III of Mentor, Denise Schwaberow of Leo, Ind. and Paul Gorom of OÕFallon, Ill.; seven great-grandchildren; and two stepsisters, Susie Byrne and Celia Zgoda, both of Buffalo, N.Y.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Lick Creek Church of the Brethren, Bryan, with Pastor Jeremy Ashworth to officiate.
Memorials may be made to the church.

Jeri Ann Newberry
(1946- 2004)

MONTPELIER - Jeri Ann Newberry, 58, of Montpelier, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Born Aug. 11, 1946, at Fremont to Marian (Schuaff) and James D. Daniel, she married David Newberry and he preceded her in death.
A 1964 graduate of Fremont High School, she attended Bowling Green State University for two years. She worked in the dietary department at Hillside Country Living, rural Bryan.
She attended St. John's Lutheran Church in Montpelier and was a member of the Montpelier Eagles No. 2246 Auxiliary.
Surviving are a son, Jason P. Wise of Montpelier, and two grandchildren, Kaetlynn and Kelsey Wise, both of Montpelier.
Private services will be held at a later date. Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the family.

Larry Donald Teeters
(1956- 2004)

WESTLAND, Mich. - Larry Donald Teeters, 48, of Westland, Mich., died unexpectedly Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, at his home of natural causes.
Born Aug. 20, 1956, at Detroit, Mich., to Mabel Lucille (Chester) and Montpelier native Donald H. Teeters, he was a lifelong Detroit area resident.
He had graduated in 1975 from Garden City West Senior High School in Garden City, Mich. and was a production line assembler at the Ford Motor Company Wixom Assembly Plant where he had been employed for 18 years.
Surviving are two brothers, Dennis R. (and wife, Maryellen) Teeters of Canton, Mich. and Thomas J. Teeters of Northville, Mich.; a nephew, Christopher Teeters; a niece, Amanda Teeters; and other relatives in Williams County.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1997 and his mother in 2000.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Wilson-Geesey Funeral Home, Montpelier.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Damschroder to officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Lucille (Thiel) Blosser
(1941- 2004)

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Lucille (Thiel) Blosser, 63, of Bloomington, died Aug. 10, 2004, at a Bloomington hospital.
Born March 10, 1941, at Blakeslee, Ohio, to Rosella and George Thiel, she married Russell Blosser and he survives.
She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Bloomington.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Russell, James and Diana Meese; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Dorothy) Fiig of Edgerton, Ohio. Services were held Friday at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gregg Peteri officiating.

David William Brunner
(1929 - 2004)

TOLEDO - David W. Brunner, 75, of Fremont, Ind., Pharr, Texas, and Toledo, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004, at his daughter's home in Toledo, after an eight month battle with cancer.
Born June 30, 1929, he was the son of Irene (Davis) and Carl Brunner.
A 1947 graduate of Macomber High School, he completed Toledo Electrical Apprentice school in 1951. He then joined IBEW Local 8 and worked for Romanoff Electric until his retirement in 1991. A S.T.A.R.S league participant and coordinator for 25 years, he was a member of Rossford Eagles, IBEW Retirees Club, Toledo Zoo, Angola Health Club and St. Lucas Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Phyllis J.; sons, Daniel (and wife, Nancy) Brunner and Douglas A. (Chris) Brunner; daughters, Mrs. Jack (Debora L.) Gensler, Mrs. David (Deanna L.) Drew; a daughter-in-law, Kay Brunner; grandchildren, Jodi (Jamie) Grime, Jamie (Kallie) Gensler, Mrs. Lonny (Julie) Grime, Joel (Stephanie Kibler) Gensler, Rebecca, Drew, Nicholas and Jessica Brunner; great-grandchildren, Darian Oberlin, Lydia Grime, Jamison and Tatum Grime and Kiera Gensler; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother; a sister; a son, David Brunner Jr.; and a granddaughter, Kelly Irene Drew.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. in the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave., Toledo.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Lucas Lutheran Church, 745 Walbridge Ave. Memorials may be made to the church, the Toledo Zoo or Hospice of NW Ohio.
