Marjorie G. Sheely
Tiffin resident
Marjorie G. Sheely, 78, of 54 S. Washington St. and formerly of 10 Victoria Dr., died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001 in Elmwood at the Shawhan.
Mrs. Sheely was born Sept. 6, 1923, in Columbus to Eugene and Florence (Davis) Good.
She married
William L. Sheely Aug. 18, 1948, in Tiffin and he survives along with two sons, David G. of Bristol, Ind., and William Scott of Sugar Land, Texas; four grandchildren; and a brother, Eugene A. Good of Tiffin.
She was a Tiffin Columbian High School graduate and an Ohio Wesleyan graduate where she was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa.
She was an accountant and a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ.
Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Greenlawn cemetery with the Rev. William Smith officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Support Group of Tiffin and Seneca County or to a charity of the donor's choice.
The Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Margot H. Evert
Tiffin resident's relative
Margot H. Evert, 74, formerly of River Run Dr., Fremont, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001, in Autumnwood Care Center.
She was born Feb. 17, 1927, in Fremont to Emil and Elsa (Wandke) Noffz.
She married
Dale Evert in St. John 's Lutheran Church on Nov. 5, 1949.
He died Oct. 11, 1999.
Survivors include: a brother, Harold Noffz of Michigan; a sister-in-law, Pauline Payden of Tiffin; four nephews; one great-nephew; and one great-niece.
A sister, Edith Johnsis deceased.
She was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School; a pattern maker employed with Howard Zink Co. retiring in 1989 after 40 years of service; member of the St. John's Lutheran Church, Eagles Auxiliary, Eagles REACT, Moose Auxiliary; and was an avid doll collector.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Wonderly-Horvath Funeral Home, Fremont, with the Rev. Robert Quillen officiating. Interment will be in McPherson cemetery, Clyde.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Ohio Parkinson Foundation-Northwest Region, Inc. or to a charity of the donor's choice.
Mary E. Tanner
Bloomville graduate
Word has been received of the death of Mary E. Tanner, 74, of Winter Haven, Fla., who died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001, in Winter Haven Hospital.
She was born May 9, 1927, in Melmore to Ulysses and Catherine Vaughn.
She married
Charles Tanner.
He died in 1992.
Survivors include: a son, Chuck Tanner of Winter Haven; a daughter, Marcie Tanner of Sebastopol, Calif.; four grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a sister, Josephine Lucille Knieriemen of Apopka, Fla.
Deceased include three brothers, Donald, Sherman and Meredith Vaughn; and two sisters, Ruth Vaughn and Katherine Shock.
Mrs. Tanner was a graduate of Bloomville High School and had been a Florida resident for the past 40 years where she was an office manager for the S and H Stamp Company.
Graveside services were conducted on Wednesday at Auburndale Memorial Park, Auburndale, Fla.
Mary L. Sloma
Lakota Schools substitute teacher
Mary L. Sloma of Fremont, age 62 years, died at Fremont Memorial Hospital Saturday morning, Sept. 29, 2001, after a lengthy illness.
She was born on June 25, 1939, in Tiffin to Harold and LaDonna (Davis) Steele.
Mrs. Sloma graduated from Bettsville High School in 1957, attended Heidelberg College, and graduated from BGSU in 1962.
She was a substitute teacher for the Lakota School District, and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fremont and its Altar Society.
On Aug. 26, 1961, she married
Joseph Sloma at St. Mary's Church in Millersville. Surviving are her husband; sons Robert (Laura) Sloma of Bowling Green, Anthony Sloma of Sylvania, and Steve Sloma of Lima; daughters, Rebecca (Dave) Gurecky of Wooster, and Kathleen (Alvin) Barnes of Indianapolis, Ind.; brothers, William (Sheila) Steel of Tucson, Ariz., and Daniel (Lynn) Steele of Bettsville; sisters, Janet (Kay) Dauterman of Ottawa Lake, Mich., and Patricia Steele of Bettsville; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Steele.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial at St. Mary's cemetery in Millersville.
Visitation will be on Monday from 2 to 9 p.m. at Nopper-Karlovetz Mortuary in Fremont.
Any memorial contributions may be made to Hospice or to Life Connections of NW Ohio.
Constance Rigby
Tiffin resident
Constance "Connie" Rigby, 87, of 213 Beechwood Drive, died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, at Elmwood at the Shawhan in Tiffin.
She was born March 18, 1914, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to Edward and Florence (Fletcher) Wainwright.
They are deceased.
She married
Albert E. Rigby on April 25, 1942, in Indiantown Gap, Pa. He died March 17, 1993.
Survivors include: two sons, Dennis Rigby of Upper Sandusky and Rodger Rigby of North Wilkesboro, N. C.; a stepson, Jerry A. Rigby of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a brother, Herbert C. Wainwright of Orangeville, Ontario, Canada; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was a brother, Alan Wainwright.
Mrs. Rigby retired as a proofreader at the Advertiser-Tribune in Tiffin and the Echo Press in Green Springs.
She was a member of Old Trinity Episcopal Church in Tiffin and a former member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Fremont.
She was a charter member of VFW Women's Auxiliary in Green Springs.
Services will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Fremont.
The Rev. John Trumble and Rev. J. H. Redmond will officiate.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Clyde.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 3-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home, Tiffin.

Rozella A. Terry, 71, of 330 Ohio Ave., died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001.

Harold Heibertshausen
Attica resident
Harold E. Heibertshausen, 71, of Attica, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2001, at the Select Specialty Hospital in the Ohio State Medical Center, Columbus, after an extended illness.
He was born June 4, 1930, in New Washington, to Howard and Mary Jane (Musselman) Heibertshausen.
He married
Donna J. Hamilton on June 4, 1950, at Union Pisgah Church in Attica. She survives.
Also surviving are: a son, Gary Heibertshausen of Attica; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Norma J.) Holmer, and Mrs. David (Carol A.) Williams, both of Attica; a sister, Mrs. Green (Jane) Turner of Fountain Hills, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Heibertshausen, and two sisters, Miriam Benedict and Fay Link.
Mr. Heibertshausen was the owner and operator of the Under Cover Yard, a metal recycling business.
He retired from Pioneer Rubber Co. in 1986, as a maintenance worker.
He was a farmer, a livestock trucker, a former patrolman in Attica, and a former director for the Seneca County Fair Board for 17 years.
Services will take place at 11 a.m. Monday at the Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home in Bloomville.
The Rev. Steven Holiday of the Union Pisgah United Methodist Church will be the officiant.
Burial will be in Attica-Venice cemetery, Attica.
Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today at the Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home.

Dwayne Burgderfer, 77, of 77 Westwood Drive and formerly of McCutchenville, died at 10:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2001.

Janet R. Wagner
McCutchenville resident
Janet R. Wagner, 62, of McCutchenville, died at 3:40 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2001, at St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo.
She was born April 27, 1939, in Wyandot County to William and Mildred (Campbell) Mullholand.
They are deceased.
She married
Ronald E. Wagner on Nov. 26, 1963, in McCutchenville at the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Randy C. Wagner of Tiffin and Jody Wagner of McCutchenville; two daughters, Mrs. Darrin (Tena) Morehart and Mrs. Steven (Lu Ann) Goist, both of McCutchenville; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Paul Mullholand of McCutchenville.
Mrs. Wagner was a 1957 graduate of McCutchenville High School. She retired as a cafeteria worker from Wyandot County Nursing Home in 2000.
She worked in Autumnwood Nursing Home, Tiffin; Westinghouse, Upper Sandusky; the former Bond Plastics, Upper Sandusky; and Grabler Pipe Fitting in Tiffin.
She was a member of the Crawford United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed needle-point and sewing for her grandchildren.
Services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home in Sycamore.
The Rev. Cynthia Morrison will officiate.
Burial will be in Bethel cemetery in McCutchenville.
