Marvel Russell Fackler

ARCHBOLD - Marvel Russell Fackler, 77, of Archbold, died early Friday morning, Sept. 10, 2004, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold.
She was the widow of Wayne Fackler.
Arrangements are pending at Short Funeral Home.

Agnes Vera Elser
(1919 - 2004)

PIONEER - Agnes Vera Elser, 84, of Pioneer, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, at Harborside Healthcare Northwestern Ohio-Bryan.
Born Oct. 19, 1919, at Louisville, Ky., to Mary Margaret (Ricketts) and George W. Warner, she married Arnold W. Elser and he preceded her in death in August of 1998.
A homemaker, she had previously worked at the Baptist Hospital at Louisville, Ky. as an aide. She had also worked in the city hall at Louisville. She had worked at the Election Board in Pioneer and was a member of the Garden Club, P.T.A. and Homemakers Club in Pioneer. She attended the Pioneer United Methodist Church.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Connie) Light of Edon; two grandchildren, Bob Light and James Light, both of Edon; a half sister, Anna Lee Marr of Scottsville, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Raymond and John Warner; and a niece, Rosemary Smith.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-7 p.m. in the Thompson Funeral Home-Pioneer.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Michael D. Raypholtz to officiate. Interment will be in Floral Grove Cemetery, Pioneer.
Memorials may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.

Delores K. Adams
(1920 - 2004)

Delores K. "Tattie" Adams, 83, of Bryan and formerly of Zanesville, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, at her residence.
Born Nov. 4, 1920, at Zanesville, to Elizabeth (Hodgson) and Charles Pettry, she married Everett Dale Adams and he preceded her in death in May of 1991.
A homemaker, she was an Avon representative for 20 years. For approximately 17 years, she had worked for David Davies Meat Packing Co. in Zanesville.
She was a member of Fair Oaks Baptist Church in Zanesville.
Surviving are four sons, Pastor James (and wife, Jodi) Adams of Bryan, Bill (Judy) Adams of Philo, Jerry (Juanita) Adams of Duncan Falls and Pastor Don (Kathy) Adams of Zanesville; three daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Pamela Sue) Sullivan of Lancaster, Mrs. Harold (Kay) Rupe of Zanesville and Mrs. Roger (Libby) Keck of Dallas, Texas ; 31 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jeannie Williamson; five brothers; a sister; a grandson, Brett Alan Adams; and a great-granddaughter, Ashley Spikol. Visitation will be held Saturday from 1-5 p.m. in the Restoration Fellowship Church in Williams Center and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Bolin Funeral Home in Zanesville.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 5 p.m. in the Restoration Fellowship Church in Williams Center and Monday at 11 a.m. in the Bolin Funeral Home in Zanesville. Pastors James D. Adams and Don F. Adams are to officiate. Interment will follow in the Duncan Falls Cemetery, Duncan Falls. Memorials may be made to C.H.W.C.-Hospice.
Thompson Funeral Home-Montpelier is in charge of arrangements.

Kathryn A. Davis
(1926- 2004)

Graveside services for Kathryn A. Davis, who died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004, at the Dilworth Center-Montpelier, will be held at Shiffler Cemetery on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Arrangements are by Burr Funeral Home and Crematory.
Memorials may be made to The Dilworth Center.

Jimmie Ray Vaughn
(1943 - 2004)

NEY - Jimmie Ray Vaughn, 61, of Ney, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan.
Born April 29, 1943, at Chattanooga, Tenn., to Grace (Posey) and Ralph Vaughn, he married Martha Maddock on June 21, 1969, and she survives.
Formerly employed at Campbell's Soup Company, retiring in 1986, he then became an owner/operator of a truck company leased to Trailer Express, Trailer Transit & Power Source.
He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, was a Master Gardener and an Army veteran.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jimmie Ray Vaughn II of Defiance; two daughters, Mrs. Ron (Karen) Tobias of Defiance and Mrs. Tom (Laura) Kestner of Grelton; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Louise Maloy of Enterprise, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Paul Vaughn; a son, Raymond L. Vaughn; a daughter, Carolyn K. Vaughn-Saunders; a sister, Martha Beard; and a stepbrother, Homer Sellers. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. in the Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home, Defiance, and on Friday one hour prior to services at the Zion Lutheran Church, Defiance. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the church with the Rev. Robert McNamara to officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Defiance. VFW graveside rites are to be performed by VFW Post 3360.
Memorials may be made to the church, Diabetes fund or to VA Hospitals.

Elsa C. Moffett
(1903 - 2004)

EDGERTON - Elsa C. Moffett, 100, of Edgerton, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, at Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton, where she was a resident.
Born Dec. 10, 1903, at Toledo, to Louise (Hoffman) and Louis Harpst, she married Herald A. Moffett on May 14, 1927, at Toledo, and he preceded her in death on April 16, 1968.
She attended the University of Toledo for two years and worked in the Toledo Public Library system for 13 years prior to moving to Edgerton in 1940 with her husband, Herald, where they operated Moffett Drug Store together until his death. She was also a librarian at the Edgerton Public Library for 15 years.
She was a member of the Edgerton United Methodist Church, the Minnie Spangler Circle of the United Methodist Women and the Edgerton Garden Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John (Catherine) Letsinger of Fishers, Ind.; a son, Richard (and wife, Vicki) Moffett of Edgerton; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor James Barkenquast to officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton.
Memorials may be made to the Friends of the Edgerton Public Library.

Patricia K. Howard
(1950 - 2004)

MONTPELIER -Patricia K. Howard, 54, of Montpelier, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2004, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
Born Feb. 5, 1950, at Montpelier, to Helen B. (Frisbee) and Glenn M. Clinger, she married Leslie 'Bud' L. Howard on Sept. 25, 2000 and he survives.
A 1968 graduate of Montpelier High School, she was a past president for the See and Do in Montpelier for approximately eight years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Thomas (and wife, Christina) Wiler of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Andrew L. Wiler of Montpelier; two daughters, Holly A. Krebbs of Albuquerque, N.M. and Mrs. Lynn (Amy) Deetz of Montpelier; six grandchildren; and a brother, Michael C. Clinger of Montpelier.
Visitation will be held Thursday after 5 p.m. until the time of service in the Thompson Funeral Home-Montpelier.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Don Harris to officiate.
