David A. Linder
David A. Linder,79, of Woodward St., Bellevue died Sunday March 3, 2002, in the Bellevue Hospital.
He was born July 17, 1922, in Pontiac, Ohio, to the late Authur and Cora (Miller) Linder. He married
Betty (Magers) Linder on July 21, 1946 and she survives.
Mr. Linder was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Society 89th Division Medical Detachment, Patten's 3rd Division.
Survivors include: a son, Donald Linder, Jr. of Florida; a brother, Kenneth Linder and two sisters, Mrs. Bruce (Marabelle) Smith and Ms. Donna Kosman, all of Bellevue; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Bellevue. Burial will be in Bellevue cemetery.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Auxter Funeral Home, Bellevue.
Francis II. Reinhart
A memorial Mass for Francis H. Reinhart, who died Jan. 26, 2002, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday March 9, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin.
Charles W. Wilson
Charles W. Wilson, 81 of 253 Seventh Ave., died 11:45 a.m. Tuesday March 5, 2002 at St. Vincent's Mercy Medical Center. He was born Jan. 8, 1921 to Corneilus and Aliza (Hitt) Wilson. He married
Sharon Dick in Horner, W.Va. and she survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, David Wilson of Buckhannon, John Wilson of Jane Lew, both of W. Va.; three daughters, Patricia Wilson and Joy Mesnard of Tiffin and June Hansel of Florence; three sisters, Belva Pickens of Weston, W.Va., Lena Erson of Md., Merle of Fla.; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Funeral services will be Friday 10 a.m. at the Turner-Engle Funeral Home.
Burial will be in St. Jacob's cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Charles W. Wilson
Charles W. Wilson, 81, of 243 Seventh Ave., Tiffin, died at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2002, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo,
He was born Jan. 8, 1921, in Weston, W.Va., to the late Corneilus and Aliza (Hitt) Wilson. His wife, Sharon Dick Wilson, survives at 243 Seventh Ave.

A brother, Edward Wilson, also is deceased.
Mr. Wilson retired as a glass blower from the former Tiffin Glass Co., after working there seven years. He had worked in the glass industry a total of 42 years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Friday March 8, in the Turner-Engle Funeral Home, with the Rev. Margaret M. Marks officiating. Burial will be in St. Jacob's cemetery.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of Sharon Wilson.
Dorothy I. Dillon
Dorothy I. Dillon, 89, formerly of Fostoria, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at the Lacanada Care Center in Tucson, Ariz. She was born Dec. 20, 1912, to Irvin and Flo Amelia (Ditto) Markle. On Aug. 31, 1932, she married
Carl S. Dillon in Ft. Wayne, Ind. He is deceased.
Survivors include: a son, Terry Dillon of Tucson, Ariz.; six daughters, Marjorie Smith of Tucson, Marilyn Faust and Mrs. Don (Janice) Nelson, both of Fostoria, and Mrs. Terry (Joan) Haughawout of Bloomdale, Mrs. William (Barbara) Walker and Mrs. Roy (Linda) Byrd of Middletown; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Brandy J. Williams
Brandy J. Williams, 4 months, of Fostoria died at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2002, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo. He was born Oct. 9, 2001, to Bryan E. Jenkins of Rocky Ridge and Barbara J. Williams of Fostoria.
Other survivors include: three brothers, Ronnie M. Williams, Johnathon C. Williams and Anthony J. Williams all of Fostoria.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Fountain cemetery.
Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Friday at Mann-Hare Funeral Home.
Donald A. Linder

Betty May Renninger
Betty May Renninger, 79, formerly of 3690 S. SR 231, Tiffin, died Wednesday March 6, 2002, in St. Francis Health Care Centre, Green Springs.
She was born Dec. 19, 1922, in Tiffin, to the late Ralph and Emma (Felty) Fraley. Her husband, Cleveland Grover Renninger, whom she married
June 2, 1951, in Tiffin, died Oct. 1, 2001.
Surviving are four daughters, Emily Lou VanCuren of Ormond Beach, Fla.; Betty Lou Schatzinger and Nancy Banks, both of Tiffin and Grovette C. "Toni" Moyer of Aurora; a brother, James Fraley of Tiffin; a sister, Mrs. Charles (Phyllis) Gunter, also of Tiffin; and eight grandchildren. Four brothers, Ralph, Bob, Bill and Richard also are deceased.
Mrs. Renninger, a member of the First Lutheran Church, previously worked at Tiffin Bake Shop and Renninger's Body Shop.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday March 9, in St. Francis Health Care Centre Chapel, 401 N. Broadway, Green Springs, with the Rev. Ray Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery.
Visitation will be 9:30-10 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Health Centre Chapel. The Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the V.F.W., St. Francis Health Care Centre or a charity of the donor's choice.
Janet R. Kerschner
Janet R. Kerschner, 64, of 7 W. Market St., Tiffin, died at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2002 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. She was born in Tiffin on Feb. 12, 1938 to John and Grace (West) Kerschner, both deceased.
Surviving include three sisters, Helen Hill of Tiffin, Joan Hogue of Roseville, MI., and June Hahn of Fremont; and many nieces and nephews.
Ms. Kerschner was a Class of 1956 graduate of Columbian High School. She retired from the Tiffin Development Center after working there for 32 years. A member of the Church of the Nazarene, where she was past church secretary and children's director.
The Pastor Harvey Sprague will officiate the 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2002 funeral service at the Turner-Engle Funeral Home in Tiffin. Burial will be at Greenlawn cemetery.
Visitation hours are from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m., tonight, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Gideons and/or Kiwanis manor.
Nile B. Ennis
Nile B. Ennis, 84, of 114 1/2 N. Sycamore Ave., Sycamore, died at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2002 at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was born April 17, 1917 to George P. and Mary E. (Badger) Ennis.
Surviving include: a sister, Mrs. Cleo Wilson of Largo, Fla.; three nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ennis was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II.
The funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2002 at the Pleasant View cemetery in Sycamore.
There are no visitation hours scheduled.

Carl R. (Dick) Long, Sr.
Carl R. (Dick) Long, Sr., 74, of 121 Douglas St., Tiffin, died at 12:35 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2002, in St. Francis Home, Tiffin.
He was born Dec. 29, 1927, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Charles V. and Helen E. (Werly) Long, and they are deceased.
He married
Dorothy J. Stover July 16, 1950, and she survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Carl R. Long, Jr., of rural Tiffin; two daughters, Mrs. Dana (Jean) Riedel of Sycamore, Ohio, and Mrs. Kevin (Diana) Pentony of Tiffin, Ohio; five grandchildren, Mrs. Theodore (Angela) Haake and Montgomery D. Riedel both of Findlay, and Tyler Long, Jordan Long, and Ciara Long all of rural Tiffin; three brothers, Charles Long, Jr. of Santa Clara, Calif., John Long of Tiffin, and Donald Long of Kettering, Ohio; and a sister, Mrs. Jennings (Nina) Stalsworth of Tiffin.
Preceding him in death included: a granddaughter; a brother, William Long; and a sister, Beatrice Long.
He worked at Tiffin Glass House, American Clay, Ballreich's Potato Chips, and retired as press operator at General Electric, Tiffin, in 1984 after 22 years.
He was a member of the Tiffin Harmony United Methodist Church where he was a member of Christian Service Sunday School Class. He also liked to box, play softball and also coached softball.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2002, at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. David Powell officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View cemetery, Sycamore.
Visitation is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2002, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Harmony United Methodist Church or to Gideon International or to a charity of the donor's choice.
Harmon E. Guss
Harmon E. Guss, 74, of 380 W. TR 118, Tiffin, died at 1:28 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2002, at Mercy Hospital of Tiffin. He was born Nov. 20, 1926, to Harry H. and Rose (Lang) Guss.
Survivors include: two sons, Harmon E. Guss Jr. of Bucyrus and Derick Kirkman of Lima; two daughters, Shirley Guss of Bascom and Mrs. Richard (Cheryl) Bland of Tiffin; two brothers, Howard Guss of Toledo and Gene Guss of Arizona; a sister, Helen Rose Krupp of Tiffin; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Guss was a self-employed plasterer for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Clinton Fire Department and also sat on the Clinton Board of Trustees.
There will be no services conducted at this time.
The Turner-Engle Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
James R. McConnell
James R. McConnell, 90, of 347 Twp. Rd. 194, Tiffin, Ohio, died Thursday, March 7, 2002, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 10, 1911, in Seneca County to Edward and Catherine (Zitzer) McConnell who are deceased. He married
Irene Ruth Meisner and she died in July of 1978. He was a life-long resident of the Tiffin area.
Survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Janet) Reed II of Tiffin; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lela Dendinger of Republic.
A son; three brothers; and three sisters also preceded him in death.
He retired from ITT Abrasives in 1973 after 42 years; was a member of the First Lutheran Church; and was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing in Lake Erie for many years.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 11, 2002, in the First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Margaret M. Marks officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont cemetery.
Visitation is 2-5 p.m. Sunday in the Turner-Engle Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the First Lutheran Church.
