Edna Jane Webb
Edna Jane Webb, 83, of 1434 Tappan St., Findlay died 10:35 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2002 at the Heritage House Nursing Home, Findlay.
She was born Nov. 1, 1918 in Tiffin to Clarence and Clara (Feasel) Huffman, Sr. She married
Robert Edward Webb May 3, 1947. He is deceased.
Survivors include: two sons, David L. Webb of Napoleon and Jack E. Webb of Canon City, Col.; two daughters, Mrs. Doug (Jane) Radabaugh and Mrs. Chip (Judy) Fenton, both of Findlay; two brothers, Edward Huffman of Elyria and Clarence Huffman Jr. of Tiffin; nine grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bishop cemetery, Hancock Co.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Gladys C. Paine
Gladys C. Paine, 87, died at 9:57 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2002, at Independence House, Fostoria, where she was a resident.
Arrangements are pending at Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria.
Earl E. Hoffman
Earl E. Hoffman, 81, of 101 Olive St., Tiffin, died 7:41 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2002, at Mercy Hospital Emergency Room.
He was born Jan. 4, 1921 in Seneca County to the late Perry and Margaret (Kiesel) Hoffman. On June 27, 1942 he married
Virginia Smith at St. John's United Church of Christ, Tiffin. She survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include: two sons, Perry (Patricia) Hoffman of Findlay and Gary (Connie) Hoffman of Peotone, Ill.; three daughters, Connie (Dan) Everhart, Kathy (Victor) Chartier and Ann (Dan) Laux, all of Tiffin; nine grandchildren, Andrew, Aaron, Jason, Joei, Scott, Robyn, Ashlie, Jacob and Evan; and a great-grandchild, Jordyn.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Stella Welter and Mae Young; and a brother, William Hoffman.
Mr. Hoffman served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He attended Columbian High School in Tiffin. He retired as a feedbox assembler at National Machinery Co. and was a member of the National Machinery Quarter Century Club.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Seneca Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Burial will be in Seneca Memory Gardens Mausoleum, with military rites conducted by the United Veterans Council.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the cemetery chapel.

Dorothy H. Gamertsfelder
Dorothy H. Gamertsfelder, 89, of Park Avenue, Fostoria, died at 8 p.m. Monday March 11, 2002, in the Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.
She was born Nov. 1, 1912, in Fostoria, to the late Amos and Rosa (Arras) Warrington. Her husband, Arthur Gamertsfelder, whom she married
May 7, 1933, in Fostoria, died Feb. 8, 1984.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Douglas (Sally) McDonald of Tiffin, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria. Burial will be in Fountain cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Dorothy H. Gamertsfelder
Gladys C. Paine, 87, formerly of West Ridge Drive, Fostoria, died 9:57 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2002, at the Independence House, Fostoria.
She was born May 20, 1914 to Charles and Christina (Herbert) Coppus. She married
William Charles Paine.
Other survivors include: her husband; a son, James William Paine, of Tavares, Fla.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostoria. Burial will be in Fountain cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Eugene A. 'Rip' Mosser
Eugene A. (Rip) Mosser, 76, of 2229 Lake St., Fremont, died Tuesday, March 13, 2002, at his home.
He was born June 29, 1925 to Alois and Mary (Binsack) Mosser in Fremont. On Nov. 25, 1948 he married
Margaret Mosser of Fremont. She survives in Fremont.
Other survivors include: a son, Mark A. Mosser of Fremont; three daughters, Regina Mosser of New Palty, N.Y., Patricia Halbeisen of Fremont, and Mary Jo Ekleberry of Sycamore; a sister, Mercedes Miesle of Fremont; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Services will be 1:30 p. m. at St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Thursday at the Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home, Fremont.
Mary L. (Luman) Wise
Mary L. (Luman) Wise, 87, of Arbors of Clyde, died Tuesday, March 13, 2002 at his residence. She was born May 19, 1914 to the late John B. and Harriet F. (Shafelt) Luman. She married
the late Charles E. Wise on Dec. 18, 1931.
Survivors include: three sons, John Wise and Charles Wise, both of Green Springs, and Harry Wise of Upper Sandusky; two daughters, Charlotte Bolts of Sycamore and Mary Jane Legron of Tiffin; and a sister Thelma Barrett of Tiffin.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Turner-Engle Funeral Home. Burial will be in Seneca Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. at the funeral home.
John Tony Vladeff
John Tony Vladeff, 80, formerly of 430 N. Broadway, Green Springs, died 3:10 p.m. at the Elmwood Care Center.
He was born March 22, 1921 to Tony and Rada Vladeff. He married
Mary Louise (Bordner) Drown in 1955 in Green Springs. Mrs. Drown survives.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Jean Schmerbeck of Clyde, Carol Frederick of Defiance, Beverly Hill of Fremont, and Diane Voelker of Green Springs; five step-daughters, Rolland Drown of Green Springs, Radeana Little of Kansas, Patricia Drown of Green Springs, Pam Wolff of Republic, and Loretta Sanford of Grand Junction, Col.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Engle-Young Funeral Home, Green Springs. Burial will be in Green Springs cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour before the service.
John 'Jack' Musser
John (Jack) Musser, 70, died Monday, March 4, 2002 in Fairfield.
He was born in Tiffin on May 26, 1931 to Max and Dorothy (Dauwalter) Musser. She survives.
Other survivors include: two brothers, Marion Musser of Griffon, Ga., and Jerry Musser of Ariz.; a half-brother, Jim Musser of Cicero, Ill.; and a sister, Nancy Musser of Tiffin.
Hazel M. Hindmon
Hazel M. Hindmon, 97, formerly of Walnut Street, Fostoria, died 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at Independence House, Fostoria.
She was born Feb. 14, 1905 in Fostoria to Everett and Anna (Hooper) Hindmon.
Survivors include five nieces.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fountain cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Ralph 'Junie' Knaup
Ralph "Junie" Knaup, 83, formerly of 7 W. Market St., Tiffin, died Thursday, March 14, 2002, in the Autumnwood Care Center.
He was born May 1, 1918, in Fostoria, to the late Ralph R. and Gertrude M. (Brubaker) Knaup. He married
Olive M. Carrick Oct. 3, 1945, in Fostoria. She preceded him in death March 3, 1993.
Surviving are a brother, John Knaup of Carey; a sister-in-law, Maxine Carrick of Tiffin; and nieces and nephews.
A 1936 graduate of McCutchenville High School, Mr. Knaup worked as an operating engineer for Focht Brothers Construction. He was a member of the Protestant Faith, Tiffin American Legion Post 169 and a lifetime member of Elks Tiffin Lodge 94.
Mr. Knaup, a World War II U.S. Army Veteran, was a 26 year high school basketball official and a 30-year Little League baseball umpire. In 1997 he was inducted into the Ohio Athletic Hall of Fame. He also was a staunch Ohio State fan.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday March 16, in Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home, with the Rev. Howard Huston officiating. Burial will be in Bethel-South Bend cemetery, McCutchenville.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until time of the service Saturday at the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home. Elks service will be at 7:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Elks National Foundation (scholarships) or a charity of the donor's choice.
Walter A. 'Jimmy' Reed
Walter A. "Jimmy" Reed, 93, of 509 S. Sycamore Avenue, Sycamore, died at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2002 in Marion General Hospital. He was born March 12, 1909 to John and Stella (Hasty) Reed. On Jan. 15, 1933 he married
Helen L. Van Tilbrough in Covington, Ky., she died March 1, 1996.
Surviving include: two sons, Leo V. Reed of Rawson, and Merle W. Reed of Marion; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Preceded in death were: a son, Ronald L. Reed, who died in 1991; and a daughter, Corlene Reed, she died in 1936; a brother, Roy Warren; and four sisters Eulah Mae Warren, Birdie Honey, Bernice Barrow and Bessie Warden.
Mr. Reed retired from AC & Y Railroad in 1974 after 40 years of service. He was also caretaker of Sycamore, Bretz & Pike Town Cemeteries for 30 years. A resident of Sycamore since 1932 he was a member of the Methodist Faith, he enjoyed being a bee keeper and loved talking to people.
The services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2002 at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home. Burial will be at Pleasant View cemetery in Sycamore.
Visitation hours are from 5-8 p.m., tonight, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Wyandot County Home Health Agency and/or to the charity of the donor's choice.
Mary L. (Luman) Wise
Mary L. (Luman) Wise, 87, of Clyde, died Wednesday March 13, 2002, at the Arbors of Clyde, where she resided.
She was born May 19, 1914, to the late John B. and Harriet F. (Shafelt) Luman. On Dec. 18, 1931, She married
Charles E. Wise. He is deceased.
Surviving are three sons, John and Charles Wise, both of Green Springs and Harry Wise of Upper Sandusky; two daughters, Charlotte Bolts of Sycamore and Mary Jane Legron of Tiffin; 27 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Thelma Barrett of Tiffin.
Three brothers, Bill, John and Ernest Luman; and three sisters, Dorothea, Ida and Zeda, also are deceased.
Mrs. Wise, a homemaker, was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. A resident of Clyde for 10 years, she also was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Clyde.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday March 16, in the Turner-Engle Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Culp officiating. Burial will be in Seneca Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday at Turner-Engle Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Warren E. Musselman
Warren E. Musselman, 89, 2763 N. CR 41, Tiffin, died Thursday morning March 14, 2002, at Mercy Hospital in Tiffin.
He was born Dec. 20, 1912, in Lorain, to William and Mayme (Hall) Musselman. On Oct. 19, 1937, in Bowling Green, he married
Luella Ferree, She died in 1989.
Survivors include: a sister, Mrs. LaVon Dole of Lebanon, Ohio, two nephews, Ned Musselman of Naperville, Ill. and Les Dole of Knoxville, Tenn.; three nieces, Mrs. James (Melodee) Ashby of Lebanon, Mrs. Virgil (Wanda) Stevenson of Tiffin and Mrs. Dale (Jo Ann) Nivison of Findlay.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Ronald Musselman.
Mr. Musselman was a section foreman for the B&O Railroad, retiring in 1978. He was a member of the Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church, Hildreth Lodge 165 Free and Accepted Masons of Republic, Wade Benfer American Legion Post 404 of Republic and the Brotherhood of Railroad Maintenance AWAY. He was a graduate of Republic-Scipio High School and a World War II Army veteran.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday March 18, at the Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR 19, Bloomville, with the Rev. Jared Williams officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge cemetery, Tiffin, with military graveside services.
Visitation will be 9:30-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church or a charity of the donor's choice.
Leona R. (Mackling) Printz
Leona R. (Mackling) Printz, 82, died at 2:42 p.m., Thursday, March 14, 2002, in the Elmwood Care Center, Green Springs.
She was born July 16, 1919, in Thompson Township to John J. and Frances C. (Ruehle) Mackling. She married
Kenneth A. Printz May 12, 1946, in Clyde; and he died in May of 1979.
Survivors include three brothers, Leonard Mackling of Woodman, Ky., Paul Mackling of Bellevue, and Wilber Mackling of Tiffin; and three sisters, June Huth of Tiffin, Arlene Clouse and Ilene Kuhn of Bascom.
In addition to her husband, her parents, three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
She was a 1937 graduate of Thompson High School; retired from S.E. Heynan Company of Fremont; a member of Green Springs United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women's Group, and Seneca Searches Genealogy Society. She lived all her life in Green Springs.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m., Monday, March 18, 2002, in the Green Springs United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Scott officiating. Burial will be in Green Springs cemetery at a later date.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be made to Green Springs United Methodist Church.
