Mabel J. Holdcraft

Mabel J. Holdcraft, 80, of 103 Evergreen Lane, Upper Sandusky, died at 11:50 a.m., Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, in Wyandot Manor Nursing Home, Upper Sandusky.

She was born Dec. 15, 1921, in Wyandot County to Lloyd and Anna Mae (Furrow) Holdcraft; and they are deceased.

Survivors include: a brother, Glenn Holdcraft of Bucyrus; and two sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Annabelle) Norris of Nevada, and Margaurite Norris of Bucyrus.

Others preceding her in death included: three brothers, Howard, James and Byron Holdcraft; and four sisters, Neva Holdcraft, Mary Jane Cascade, Zella Graves and Miriam Williams.

She was a 1942 graduate of the former Eden High School. She retired from Liqui-Box in 1986 after 18 years. Prior to working there, she had worked at Swan Rubber in Bucyrus for 17 years. She enjoyed bowling, flower gardening, lawn care, and traveling during summer vacation.

Graveside service will at 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 26, 2002, at the Old Mission cemetery, Upper Sandusky.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the Bringman-Clark and Co. Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wyandot County, c/o Bringman-Clark and Co. Funeral Home, P.O. Box 246, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.

Donald R. Yontz

Donald R. Yontz, 64, of CR 41, Bradner, died at 1:24 p.m., Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, at his home.

He was born Jan. 2, 1938, in Fremont to Walter and Marion (Miller) Yontz; and they are deceased. He married Nancy L. Driggs April 30, 1960, in Fostoria; and she died Nov. 6, 1995.

Survivors include: a son, Daniel of Portage; three daughters, Kelly Frankart and Kerry Lee of Fostoria, and Kristi Bowen of Pemberville; eight grandchildren; a brother, Walter "Mike" of Fremont; and four sisters, Betty Adams and Gail Stroud both of Fremont, Kay Ann Gnepper of Clyde, and Marylou Winter of Helena.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, where military honors will be conducted by the Joint Veterans Group of Fostoria.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Paul M. Orians

Paul M. Orians, 73, of East North Street, Fostoria, died at 12:01 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002, at Winebrenner Village, Findlay.

He was born May 21, 1929, in Carey to Vincent and Alma (Brodman) Orians who are deceased. He never married .

Survivors include: two brothers, Basil of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Donald of Augusta, Ga.; four sisters, Ardyth Franklin of Findlay, Marilyn Hohler of Norwalk, Evelyn Bayer of Perrysburg, and Rosemary Lones of Toledo.

He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, in St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, with burial in St. Joseph cemetery, near Upper Sandusky.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Anna Mae Koons

Anna Mae Koons, 87, of Fremont, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, in Bethesda Care Center, Fremont.

She was born Feb. 10, 1915, in Adams Twp. to Clifton and Anna Grace (Geiger) Koons. She never married .

Survivors include: a brother, Dale of Fremont; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, Clyde, with interment in Green Springs cemetery.

Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Rita M. Smith

Rita M. Smith, 86, 190 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin, died at 1:40 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002, in St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.

She was born Feb. 13, 1916, in Liberty Township, Seneca County, to the late Michael H. and Nancy (Koerper) Sendelbach. Her husband, Clarence L. Smith, whom she married May 13, 1939, in St. Andrew Catholic Church, Liberty Township, survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Elmo H. (Lois) Smith of Great Falls, Mont. and Norman (Jean) Smith of Sidney; two daughters, Nancy (Richard) Heebsh of Findlay and Mona (Richard) Cleary of Pompano Beach, Fla.; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and four brothers, Harold, Richard, Roland and Leo Sendelbach, all of Tiffin.

Preceding her in death were a brother, Paul J. Sendelbach and a sister, Dolores Stears.

A 1934 Calvert High School graduate, Mrs. Smith worked 11 years in Central Supply at Mercy Hospital of Tiffin. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, its Rosary Altar Society and St. Francis Auxiliary.

A funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26, in St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Richard Dunn and Msgr. Edward Dunn as con-celebrants. A rosary will be recited at 10:15 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio (419) 447-3113. There will be a wake service at the funeral home at 3:45 p.m. Sunday.

Memorials may be made to St. Francis Home, American Heart Association and Calvert High School in care of the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home.

Melissa J. Boucher

Melissa J. Boucher, 24, of 701 S. Sycamore St., Sycamore, died at 2:22 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002, at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo.

She was born Nov. 5, 1977, in Tiffin to Robert P. and Barbara A. (Romig) Smith III. Her father and stepmother, Robert and Michelle Smith, survive in Tiffin; and her mother and stepfather, Barbara and Douglas DeTray survive in Tiffin. On July 5, 1995, she married Matthew Boucher at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin. He survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include: two sons, Allen and Brandon Boucher, both at home; paternal grandmother, Johanna Smith of Yuma, Ariz.; maternal grandfathers, Richard Romig of Tiffin and Gary Shumaker of Sycamore; a stepbrother, Paul DeTray of Tiffin; five sisters, Jaclyn (Shawn) Todd, April Smith, Ashley Smith, Brittany Smith and Cierra Smith, all of Tiffin; a stepsister, Faye DeTray of Tiffin and parents-in-law, David and Merilee Boucher of Tiffin.

Mrs. Boucher was a 1994 graduate of Columbian High School and a full-time student at Ohio State University, Marion Campus. She had worked for Verizon Corp. in Marion. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Sycamore.

Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin, with the Rev. James K. Say officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, OH (419) 447-3113. A Wake Service will be at 7:45 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rosary will be recited at 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the Mass.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in care of Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home.

Melissa JoLynn Boucher

Graveside services for Melissa JoLynn Boucher, 24, of Tiffin, will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph cemetery.

She died Aug. 22, 2002, in Toledo.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Hannay-Traunero Funeral Home.

Stephen C. Munger

Stephen C. Munger, 52, of 917 S. Main St., Fostoria, died at 10:10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2002, in Perrysburg at Hospice of NW Ohio.

He was born Aug. 25, 1949, in Fostoria to Donald R. and Jane E. (Reilly) Munger.

Surviving are: his mother, Jane E. Munger of Fostoria; a sister, Nancy E. Malone of Toledo; two nephews, Ryan P. and Scott A. Malone of Toledo.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald R. Munger.

Mr. Munger worked at Seneca Re-Ad Industries, Fostoria Division. He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church in Fostoria; a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus Council 1197 in Fostoria and a 1967 graduate of St. Wendelin High School. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Cleveland Indians and Browns.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church in Fostoria. The Rosary will be prayed at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Fountain cemetery, Fostoria.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria.

Memorials may be made to St. Wendelin High School and Seneca Re-Ad Industries, Fostoria Division, and Hospice of NW Ohio.

Arthur J. 'Art' Reinbolt

Arthur J. "Art" Reinbolt, 79, of 6632 W. TR 102, Tiffin, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, at Independence House in Fostoria.

He was born Jan. 27, 1923, in Tiffin to Herman and Adeline (Zoeller) Reinbolt. On Nov. 25, 1950, he married his wife of 51-1/2 years, Lois M. (Grieger) Reinbolt, at St. Boniface Church in Oak Harbor. She survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include: their five children, Charles A. (Jodie) Reinbolt, Steve J. (Denise) Reinbolt, Mrs. Lori (Scott) Hall, all of Tiffin, John H. (Dawn) Reinbolt of McCutchenville and Mrs. Diane M. (Bill) Dietz of Fremont; three sisters, Mrs. Catherine (Donal) Pinkston, Mrs. Martha (Walter) Schriner and Mrs. Mary (Ronald) Schriner, all of Tiffin; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Ann.

Mr. Reinbolt was a 1941 graduate of New Riegel High School. He was a farmer, bus driver, and supervisor for Tiffin Developmental Center, retiring in 1985, and member of the New Riegel Moose. He was a hunter, fisherman and a Euchre player. Mr. Reinbolt was scorekeeper for the New Riegel High School basketball team. In 1941, New Riegel High School baseball team was state runner-up and he was a member of that team. He was an avid Detroit Tigers and sometimes a Cleveland Indians fan. Mr. Reinbolt was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in New Riegel.

Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, with the Rev. Harry Cavanaugh officiating. The Rosary will be prayed at 9:45 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in St. Boniface cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home, Tiffin. There will be a Wake Service at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to New Riegel Village Park Improvement Fund.

Bernadette Sendelbach

Bernadette "Bernie" Sendelbach, 81, of 94 Valleyview Place, Tiffin, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, at her home. She was born April 11, 1921, in Little Falls, Minn. On Nov. 17, 1945, she married Joseph L. "Joe" Sendelbach in Flint, Mich. He survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include: a son, David Sendelbach of Tiffin; six daughters, Joanne Cantrell of Findlay, Mrs. Mary (Ron) Mathias of Toledo, Ruthie Bintz of Tiffin, Joyce Sendelbach of Reynoldsburg, Nancy Sendelbach of Tiffin and Mrs. Ann (Doug) West of North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Jeff and JoAnn Mathias, Danielle Sendelbach, Amy Mathias, Ryan Bintz, Jessica Sendelbach and Kate Sendelbach; a goddaughter, JoAnn Hark of Tiffin; and close friend, Tim McDonald of Fremont.

She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Timothy McDonald; son-in-law, Wayne Bintz; two sisters and three brothers.

Mrs. Sendelbach was retired from the Sears Store where she worked in the paint department. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Eagles Auxiliary 402.

Funeral Mass will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. James K. Say officiating. The Rosary will be prayed at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Community Hospice Care, the American Heart Association or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Helen Kathryn Nelson

Helen Kathryn Nelson, 80, of Springmill Street, passed away Friday evening, Aug. 23, 2002, at her home, following an extended illness.

Helen was born in Mansfield Aug. 17, 1922, to Jacob and Anna (Kunz) Franzen. She retired from the Mansfield City Schools and also worked for more than 10 years as a hostess at the Stewart Road McDonald's Restaurant. She was a member of the Lexington Senior Civic Center, V.F.W. on Ashland Road, Daughters of Herman, American GBU, American Legion, Eagles, Liederkranz, Ginger Snaps, UnoWives and St. Mary's Catholic Church. Helen also enjoyed doing volunteer work for the Red Cross, RSVP and the Health Department.

She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law: Robert L. and Linda Nelson of Lucas, Randall L. Nelson of Pataskala, Roger L. and Kristina Nelson of Mansfield; six grandchildren; a step-granddaughter; five great-grandchildren; special family friend Ken Thompson of Pataskala; a sister, Elinor (Paul) Boes of Tiffin; two brothers, Charles (Ann) Franzen of Alhambra, Calif., and Albert (Virginia) Franzen of Biloxi, Miss.; and a sister-in-law, Betty Franzen of Mansfield.

She married Ralph Nelson April 11, 1942. He preceded her in death Oct. 22, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son Ronald, who passed away in 1958, and a brother, Frank Franzen, who passed away in 1983.

Friends may call at Herlihy-Tinsman-Moleno Funeral Home, 173 Park Ave. West, Mansfield, on Monday from 3 to 7 p.m., where vigil services will be at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Mansfield, with Father Keith McCormack officiating. Interment will be in Mansfield Catholic cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice or St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Dorothy I. Stansbery

Dorothy I. Stansbery, 76, of Wyandot Manor Nursing Home, where she has resided for seven years, died 4:55 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, at the nursing home in Upper Sandusky.

She was born Jan. 19, 1926, in Carey to the late George and Gertrude (Shine) Ritter. On Aug. 18, 1956, she married David Henry Stansbery in Tiffin. He died March 7, 1970.

Surviving are: two sons, Daniel F. and Timothy A. Stansbery of Upper Sandusky; two daughters, Gail A. Searls and Sandra K. Amesquita of Upper Sandusky; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Ritter of Carey and Richard Ritter of Upper Sandusky; and four sisters, Mary Lou Duffy of Cheboygan, Mich., Carol McKee, Jane Harding, Linda Wetherholtz, all of Upper Sandusky, Shirley Rife of Sycamore and Florence Stansbery of Carey.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Bringman-Clark and Co. Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. Burial will be Stansbery cemetery, Mifflin Township, rural Upper Sandusky.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Larry R. Ferkel

Larry R. Ferkel, 52, formerly of Clyde, now Columbus, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2002, in Columbus.

He was born May 27, 1950, in Fremont to Ralph and Shirley (Dencer) Ferkel.

Surviving are: his parents, Ralph and Shirley Ferkel; a brother, Gary R. Ferkel, all of Clyde; a sister, Jeanette Schlimgen of Greenville, S.C.

The funeral will be private. Burial will be in McPherson cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

The Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Rhea Quisno

Rhea Quisno, 82, formerly of South Collingwood St., Fremont, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2002, at Countryside Continuing Care Center in Fremont.

She was born Feb. 16, 1920, to the late Stanley and Emily (Wiedersatz) Quisno.

Surviving are two nephews.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home in Clyde. Burial will be in Parkhurst cemetery, Clyde.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.

Patricia Ann March

Patricia Ann March, 58, of Limerick Road, Clyde, died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, at Bellevue Hospital.

She was born Nov. 8, 1943, in Mt. Braddick, Pa., to the late Harold W. and Mary Ellen (Stockton) Colgan. After the death of her first husband, she married James B. March in July 1975. He survives in Clyde.

Other survivors include: a son, Nicholas Kulikowsky Jr. of Denver, N.C.; four daughters, Mary Ann Caldwell of Monroeville, Cynthia Ann Cook of Jay, Vt., Natalie Rachel Bolick of Williston, S.C., Victoria Patricia Jarvis of Sandusky; eight grandchildren; four brothers, Raymond Colgan of Normalsville, Pa., Robert Colgan of Brownsville, Pa., James Colgan of Connelsville, Pa., and Paul Colgan of Uniontown, Pa.; two sisters, Mary Ellen Lowery of Lemont Furnace, Pa., and Jo Ann Watson of Uniontown, Pa.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home in Clyde. Burial will be in McPherson cemetery.

Visitation will be 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
