Kuno Kohv
(1928 - 2004)

ARCHBOLD - Kuno Kohv, 75, of Archbold, died early Saturday morning, Oct. 2, 2004, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Archbold, where he had been a patient since Thursday morning.
Born Dec. 25, 1928, in Estonia, to Emilie (Luik) and August Kohv, he married Milla Seim on Aug. 15, 1953, and she survives.
He came to the United States in 1949 and had lived in the Archbold area since 1950.
A meat cutter at the former Lugbill Bros.-Eckert Packing Co.-Dinner Bell Foods for 40 years, he was a member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Archbold.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Harry (and wife, Lisa) Kohv of Stryker and Martin (Bette) Kohv of Archbold; two grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, an infant son, and a brother, Eino Kohv.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9-11 a.m. in St. Martin's Lutheran Church.
Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the church with Pastor Thomas A. Lyberg to officiate. Interment will follow in the Archbold Cemetery. Short Funeral Home in Archbold is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Chapter of the American Cancer Society or to Lutheran Social Services.

Mildred I. Partee
(1916 - 2004)

Mildred I. Partee, 88, of Bryan, died Friday, Oct. 1, 2004, at her home. Born March 11, 1916, at Defiance, to Lestie (Sines) and Henry Shough, she married Robert Partee on Oct. 15, 1936, and he survives.
A lifelong homemaker, she was a member of the Pulaski United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, Pulaski Garden Club and the Holiday Ramblers.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Larry (and wife, Pat) Partee of Montpelier, Keith (Sue) Partee of Westlake and Randy (Regina) Partee of Stryker; a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Judy) Roth of Bryan; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Wilda Mae Hawkins of Clinton, Mich. and Donna Vee Oberlin of Bryan.
Preceding her in death were a son, Marlin; her parents; and two brothers, Richard and Delbert Shough. Visitation will be held today from 2-8 p.m. in the Grisier Funeral Home, Stryker.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Pulaski United Methodist Church with Pastor Debbie Kaylor to officiate. Interment will follow in the Evansport Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to CHWC Share Foundation or CHWC Hospice and Home Health Care.

Mable Elsie Rupp
(1912 - 2004)

Mable Elsie Rupp, 91, of Bryan, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004, at the Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan where she had been a patient.
Born Dec. 4, 1912, at Manistee County, Mich., to Ota Elizabeth (Shideler) and Loren Issac Moss, she married Reuben E. Rupp on Jan. 8, 1933, and he preceded her in death on March 13, 1995. She and her husband had operated a farm north of Bryan for many years. She then moved to the Village at Hillside Country Living.
She had also worked at the former Uhlman's Department Store in Bryan and was an active member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Bryan.
Surviving are a son, Dale J. (and wife, Pauline) Rupp of Bryan; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Dorthy Ann) Gruber of Leo, Ind.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a stepbrother; three stepsisters; several brothers and sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were her parents; five sisters, Grace, Ellen, Mary, Elma and Ethel; and four brothers, Paul, Edson, Aaron and David.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the Oberlin-Ford Funeral Home in Bryan and one hour prior to services in the Bryan Alliance Church.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the church with the Rev. Gary Keisling to officiate. Interment will follow in the Shiffler Cemetery, Bryan.
Memorials may be made to the Bryan Alliance Church.

Kristina M. Souza
(1989 - 2004)

MONTPELIER - Kristina M. Souza, 15, of Montpelier, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, at her home.
Born Sept. 12, 1989, at Fort Campbell, Ky., she was the daughter of Constance M. (Humbarger) and August A. Souza.
A sophomore at Montpelier High School, she was an honor student and was involved in the musicals both at school as well as other Williams County productions. She attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Bryan.
She is survived by her parents, Constance and Jose Sandoval of Montpelier and August Souza of Montpelier; five sisters, Courtney and Emily Souza of Montpelier, Shiloh Souza of Evansport, Sarah and Olivia Sandoval of Montpelier; three brothers, Adam Souza, Alex and Andy Sandoval, all of Montpelier; her maternal grandmother, Linda Lewis of Montpelier; aunts, Kathy Bostater, Angela Dennison and Nancy Souza; and uncles, Donald Humbarger and Robin Souza.
Visitation will be held Monday from 2-8 p.m. in the Thompson Funeral Home, Montpelier.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home with Branch President Dennis E.  Taylor to officiate. Interment will be in Shiffler Cemetery, Bryan.
Memorials may be made to the family.

Sgt. Todd W. Shock
(1967 - 2004)

STRYKER - Police Sergeant Todd W. Shock, 37, of Stryker, died suddenly early morning, Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan.
Born Aug. 5, 1967, at Defiance, he married Irma Martinez on April 24, 1987, and she survives. A sergeant with the Stryker Police Department with eight years of service. He was also employed with Sauder Woodworking for 16 years. A 1985 graduate of Stryker High School, he was a member of the Bryan Fraternal Order of Police and was an avid hunter.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Bronson and Brody Shock of Stryker; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Phil (Barb) Short of Stryker; a brother, Erik (and wife, Leslie) Short of Stryker; a half sister, Tina Smith of Defiance; grandparents, Edna (Yogi) Miller of Wauseon and Lucille Short of Stryker; and his father, C. William Shock of Defiance.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Cecil and Ethel Shock, Earl Short, Merle Miller and Steve Salay; and great-grandparents, the Rev. John and Mary Shull.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the Grisier Funeral Home, Stryker.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Stryker United Methodist Church with Pastor Nick Woodall to officiate. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Stryker.
Memorials may be made to a trust fund established for the children.

Ina M. Baldwin
(1908 - 2004)

Ina M. Baldwin, 96, of Bryan and formerly of Midland, Mich., died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2004, at Harborside Healthcare Northwestern Ohio-Bryan.
Born March 26, 1908, at Rosebush, Mich., to Lizzie (Raymond) and George Anderson, she married William John Baldwin on Nov. 21, 1925, at Midland, Mich., and he preceded her in death in 1982. A homemaker, she was a charter member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Midland.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Baldwin of AuGres, Mich.; daughters, Dawn Brown of Jackson, Mich., Linda Coy of Bryan and Mrs. Herb (Diane) Ripke of Houghton Lake, Mich.; 16 grandchildren; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Elton (and wife, Edna) Anderson of Clare, Mich.; sisters, Mrs. Ken (Alma) Harshey of Florida and Mrs. Ernie (Betty) Myers of Pinconning, Mich.; and special friend and prayer partner, Marge Justice of Midland, Mich.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her daughters, Betty Jane Altman and Bonnie Lou Crouse.
A celebration of life was held Thursday, Dec. 2, at the Calvary Baptist Church, Midland, Mich., with the Rev. Dan Dickerson officiating. Committal took place at 2 p.m. in the Midland Cemetery.
