Rose M. Nicolosi

MARION -- Rose M. Nicolosi, age 77, of 198 Lake St., died Tuesday, April 30, 2002, at 9:18 a.m. in Mount Carmel East Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 22, 1925, in Marion, to the late Anthony and Dominica (Maniaci) Caserta.
On June 1, 1946, she joined in marriage to Joseph L. Nicolosi who died June 13, 1983.
Rose formerly worked in accounting at GTE.
Survivors include two sons, Rick (Paula) Nicolosi, Marion, Daniel (Carla) Nicolosi, Westerville; three daughters, Pam Fegley, Lincoln, Neb., Sue Nicolosi, Marion, MaryAnne (Darwin) Myers, Marion; two brothers, Anthony Caserta, Marion Chris Caserta, Delaware; 12 grandchildren, Julie (Kent) Smith, Aaron Nicolosi, Katie (Mike) Henry, Becky (Trevor) Beeney, Andy (Kristin) Nicolosi, Lori Bender, Cassie Freeman, Carrie (Steve) Lamb, Chad (Jennifer) Fegley, and Mandy, Richard and Susan Myers; five great-grandchildren, Tristan and Zachery Beeney, Christopher Leyden, Serenity Lamb, Kyle Fegley; and several nieces and nephews. Four sisters, Carmela and Giovannina Caserta, Eleanor Maniaci, Josephine Caserta are deceased.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors where prayers will be offered at 4 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 3, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Kaylee Elizabeth Woodley
Died Apr. 28, 2002
GALION -- Kaylee Elizabeth Woodley, 9 months, 425 Libby Lane, Apt. B-8, died at 12:12 a.m. Sunday, April 28, 2002, at Columbus Children's Hospital following a three month illness.
Born July 27, 2001, in Galion, she was the daughter of Jason Woodley and Emily Blue; they survive in Galion.
She is also survived by two brothers, Austin and Gauge Woodley at home; maternal grandparents, Dale and Kathy Dingess of Iberia, Randy and Shelby Blue of Newark; paternal grandparents, Lonnie and Bonnie Chaney of Point Pleasant, W.Va., Mike and Betty Nicholson of Marion; maternal great-grandparents, Judy Thompson of Raymond, Dale and Sharon Dingess Sr. of Iberia and Patricia Blue of Broadway; paternal great-grandparents, Mary Neace of Marion; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services were held 1 p.m. today at Iberia Cemetery with the Rev. Monty Trammel officiating. Calling hours were 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home in Galion.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
William A. 'Bill' O'Keefe

He passed away at 3:38 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2, 2002, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Toledo.
Birdie O. Severns
MANSFIELD -- Birdie O.Severns, 93, 1665 Executive Court, Mansfield, passed away at 8:28 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, at Mansfield MedCentral Hospital.
Born Nov. 18, 1908, in Iron City, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Jerd and Mollie (Caperton) Darnell.
On Aug. 7, 1927, in Marion, she married Milan R. Severns; he passed away Aug. 22, 1980, in Marion.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Donald E. (Dorothy) Severns, Marion; three daughters, Marilyn E. (Ned) Chandler of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., Betty E. (John) Shifley of Galion, Susan K. Croft of Mansfield; 23 grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Robert, Max and Kenneth Severns, three brothers, five sisters and one grandchild.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Wednesday at Boyd Funeral Home with the Rev. Steven deWeber officiating. Burial is in Crawford County Memory Gardens. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Raymond Morrow
MARION -- Funeral arrangements are pending with Boyd Funeral Home for Raymond Morrow, 64, Marion.
He passed away Monday, Sept. 2, 2002, at Marion General Hospital.
Dorothy L. Maclaren
HARPSTER -- Dorothy L. Maclaren, 85, formerly of Wyandot Street, Harpster, passed away at 1:20 a.m. Monday, Sept. 2, 2002, at Fairhaven Retirement and Health Care Community, Upper Sandusky.
Born April 3, 1917, in Lawrence, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Howard S. and Esther Ruth (Carlson) Willis.
On Nov. 15, 1942, in Salem, N.H., she married Robert H.M. Maclaren; he survives.
A homemaker, she was switchboard operator at The Marion Star for two years and secretary for John Pritchard Agency for four years. She was a member of Calvary Bible Baptist Church, Marion, Harpster Mothers Club, Usando Literary Club, Upper Sandusky. For hobbies, she enjoyed reading, her family and grandchildren.
She is also survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mark (Jean I.) Tennant, Chevak, Alaska, Mrs. William (Wenda) Quilter, Troy; a sister, Mrs. Doris Lamprey, Salem, N.H.; grandchildren, Gregory, Erin, Amanda,, Johanna and Abigail; great-grandchildren, Sage, Willow and Ocean. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Willis.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Little Sandusky Cemetery, Harpster, with the Rev. Floyd Radebaugh officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. Arrangements by Lucas Funeral Home.

Judy K. Jolley
MARION -- Judy K. Jolley, 57, Vernon Heights Boulevard, died Friday morning, Sept. 13, 2002, at Marion General Hospital.
Born Dec. 4, 1944, in Monnett, she was the daughter of Perry and Cora (Palm) TenEyck.
On May 31, 1970, she married Russell W. Jolley, who survives in Marion.
She was a customer service representative for ConAgra Snack Foods. She was a judge in standing for American Co-ed Pageants Association. She had a passion for beauty pageants, both as a judge and supporter.
She is also survived by her children, Jeff (Christi) Jolley of Melbourne, Fla., Ted (Sheila) Jolley of Copperas Cove, Texas, and Valerie Jolley of Marion; grandchildren, Jamee Rowland and Nicole Rowland; brothers, Art TenEyck of Delaware and Carl TenEyck of Harpster; and sisters, Violet Hill of Fla., Cora Hursey of Westerville, and Shirley Hancock of Bucyrus. One sister, Vivian Burling, and three brothers, Bob, Jim and Chuck, preceded her in death.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002, at Denzer-Farison-Hottinger Funeral Home with Pastor Charles R. Reed officiating. Burial is in Marion Cemetery. Friends may visit 5-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, 2002, at the funeral home.
